Prayer for Grace for our Country

Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

R. People are in our lives and can fill us for a long time then they have to move on.

Fr. Carter was only here for 6 1/2 years, Mary appeared on the building for 7 1/2 years,
My mom was here for 5 1/2 years.

God gives us tremendous friends that love us life long.

Some were left by lovers.

Some were left by children.

Our lives were blessed by Alice my mom even though she died of cancer when I was 5 and Fr. Joe was 14.

Life is a blessing every day.
See the beauty of every day, see the beauty of friendship and love and the gift of all that surrounds us.

God created us and loves us so much.
To know Christ is to know love.
God is love.

I know my mom is still praying for me and Fr. Joe, she died 69 years ago.

God is blessing us today in our lives, let go and surrender to Him!

Life is in Him.
God knows our lives and He loves us.
   

Prayer for Union with Jesus

Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart.

    I am Yours to possess. I am Yours to use. I want to be selfless and only exist in You. Help me to spoon out all that is me and be an empty vessel ready to be filled by You. Help me to die to myself and live only for You. Use me as You will. Let me never draw my attention back to myself. I only want to operate as You do, dwelling within me.

    I am Yours, Lord. I want to have my life in You. I want to do the will of the Father. Give me the strength to put aside the world and let You operate my very being. Help me to act as You desire. Strengthen me against the distractions of the devil to take me from Your work.

    When I worry, I have taken my focus off of You and placed it on myself. Help me not to give in to the promptings of others to change what in my heart You are making very clear to me. I worship You, I adore You and I love You. Come and dwell in me now.

Live in the Moment

    Today’s Gospel in its story certainly points ahead to Jesus in His Passion and death. And as we read passages such as this during the Lenten season, we are reminded once again that the Church in her Liturgy of the Word gives us an opportunity to undergo a purification, an ever deepening cleansing of ourselves so that we may be a more fit instrument for receiving the great graces which are to be given to us at the time of the Resurrection memorial on Easter. And so all in all, Lent is a time of purification to prepare us for ever-greater gifts of the Lord. It’s a time of self-discipline, a time to renew our efforts to be self-disciplined in the service of the Lord. Self-discipline is an aspect of purification. And I suggest that one of the most difficult acts of self-discipline in the spiritual journey is to concentrate on the present moment. We have a very strong tendency to disregard the importance of the present moment by focusing in a wrong way on the past or in a wrong way on the future. There are proper occasions for thinking of the past and the future. For example, we have to learn from the past and we have to prepare for the future, but our great emphasis has to be upon the present. There is a Latin axiom which says, age quod agis, age quod agis, which means: do what you are doing, concentrate on the present. And of course we are familiar with that term in the history of spirituality: the sacrament of the present moment. And so the discipline of Lent certainly encourages us to include in a deeper self-discipline a greater determination to get as much as we can out of the present moment. People with a terminal illness have an opportunity as they prepare for death for increased prayer, contrition, love of God. However, some are taken very, very quickly. But for those who have the opportunity of knowing with some certainty the time of their death, I’m sure as they look back on their lives, they are saddened by the many times they did not use time and opportunities for the service of the Lord properly, and are overjoyed at those times in which they did use the present opportunity properly. A great means we have of living in the present properly is a greater focus upon our Lord. For if I have that awareness of the fact I am united with Jesus here and now, why should I be concerned so much about the future or the past? Yes, a great help in living in the present and deriving all the good we can from it for ourselves and others is an ever greater focus upon Jesus, because the more I focus upon Jesus and the more I live with Him in the present moment, the more I am satisfied with the present moment. And so let us in our Lenten activity resolve to grow in that self-discipline - which is very difficult at times - to really live in the presence with the fullness of our being as much as is possible, with the help of God’s grace. Joyful Mysteries

The Annunciation

1. Jesus: My dear little one I ask you to pray for those in schools now.

2. Jesus: I am the way, the truth and the life.

3. Jesus: So many children are suffering at the hands of adults lusting for power and self-recognition.

4. Jesus: Children need stability and love and peace, children need to be taught.

The Visitation

    Mary stayed with her some three months and then went home.

The Holy Spirit

Jesus: "My beloved friend, tell My people to pray daily to the Holy Spirit. They are to pray for an increase in His gifts. My people must realize that the Holy Spirit comes to transform them. The Spirit desires to transform you more and more according to My image. Those who are docile to His touch become increasingly shaped in My likeness. He performs this marvel within Mary's Immaculate Heart. The more one dwells in My Mother's Heart, the more active are the workings of the Spirit. The Spirit leads Mary to place you within My own Heart. In both Our Hearts, then, your transformation continues. The more you are formed after My own Heart, the more I lead you to the bosom of My Father. Tell My people all this. Tell them to pray daily for a greater appreciation of these wondrous gifts. I am Lord and Master. All who come to My Heart will be on fire to receive the gifts of the Spirit in ever greater measure! I love and bless My people!"

Reflection: The Holy Spirit is given to us to fashion us ever more according to the likeness of Jesus. And the more we are like Jesus, the more Jesus leads us to the Father. Do we, each day, pray to the Holy Spirit to be more open to His transforming influence? Do we strive each day to grow in union with Mary? The greater our union with our Mother, the spouse of the Holy Spirit, the greater is the transforming action of the Holy Spirit within us.

Prayer: Come, Holy Spirit, fill us with your gifts of wisdom, understanding, knowledge, counsel, fortitude, piety and fear of the Lord. As we dwell in the Heart of Mary, Your spouse, fashion us more and more according to the Heart of Jesus. end of excerpt

The Presentation

Prompted by the Spirit he came to the Temple; and when the parents brought in the child Jesus to do for him what the Law required, he took him into his arms and blessed God; and he said:

    for my eyes have seen the salvation 
    which you have made ready

    a light of revelation for the gentiles

As the child’s father and mother were wondering at the things that were being said about him, Simeon blessed them and said to Mary his mother, ‘Look, he is destined for the fall and for the rise of many in Israel, destined to be a sign that is opposed—and a sword will pierce your soul too — so that the secret thoughts of many may be laid bare.'

1. R. The Child Jesus was taken up to the Temple for the feast of Passover. Mary’s Heart ached constantly from the prophecy of Simeon. Feel in your heart as Mary felt. She knew ever since the prophecy of Simeon of the suffering to co me. There was such a connection between Jesus and Mary, such intimacy between Them! We see the Two Hearts beating within her body in the first two mysteries of the rosary. She provides life for Jesus through her milk in the third mystery. She comes to the Temple with the Child Jesus in her arms and Simeon tells her of the sufferings to come. Now they take the Child Jesus to the Temple. Jesus is separated from Mary and Joseph. Mary and Joseph go on their way and Jesus is left behind. When Mary realizes that the Child Jesus was left behind, her Heart is in such sorrow! She returns to find the Child Jesus.

2. R. I see all through the mysteries of the rosary the intimacy between Jesus and Mary. This separation was so painful to Mary, for she knew of the separation to come. When she found the Child Jesus, she said to Him, “Son, why have You done this to us? Your father and I have been looking for You with great anxiety.” In her Heart, she knew the sufferings of Jesus to come. In the windows in this chapel, across from the Finding of Jesus in the Temple, is the Death of Jesus on the Cross. This was a small separation between her and her Child. She searched, she knew of the sufferings to come. She knew of a more drastic separation. He would be locked in the tomb. Her Heart was in such sorrow, for she knew far more than what we see.

3. R. Mary carried many things in her Heart. Few times we hear her speak. There was a secret between her and her Son all through Their lives.

4. R. A sword, too, shall pierce your Heart, O Mary. Our eternal life was merited by Christ’s life and death on the cross. Water and Blood poured forth from His pierced Heart. Life flows through Mary’s pierced Heart to us for she is the Mediatrix of all graces. Our Mother, giving to us, dispensing to us this life. As she gave life to the physical body of Jesus, so she dispenses supernatural life to us.

5. R. We are being formed more and more in the spiritual womb of Mary, through the Holy Spirit, to be more and more like Jesus.

6. Mary: My dear little children, I am Mary, your Mother. I ask you to pray as you have never prayed before from your heart for all the little lost children in this world today. I stood under the cross and I watched my Son as He suffered and died. This day, my dear ones, many of my children will be lost forever, for their hearts are willful and they go about their lives in sin. Jesus loves each and every child. I am the Mother of each child. I love each one of my children, your brothers. Will you pray from your hearts, my dear children? Pray for all the little lost children of this world. 7. Mary: My Heart was in such sorrow for the loss of my Child! My Heart is sorrowing for the loss of so many this day. My dear little children, pray. Offer your days, each day, to the Father in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, in the Spirit, with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory. Offer up all of your actions for the little children of this world who are suffering and in pain.

8. Mary: I am Mary, your Mother. I speak to you. This is an urgent request. Let go and come to the Heart of my Son. He will fill you with such love and you will go into this world. R. Mary said to tell you that she has called each and every person here. She wants you to answer this call. The time is urgent and this world is in need of your prayers. Come to her Son in the Eucharist and in front of the tabernacle. It is there that He will instruct you in the ways He wants you to go. You are loved far beyond your comprehension. It is in Him that you will find peace and joy. He has all he answers for your life. Do not pick up your phones and complain and argue.
