The Novena Rosary
Mysteries |
Pray for Bob & special intentions.
Consecration Prayer for Peace
I consecrate Russia and the Ukraine to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
I further consecrate the priests, the Church and the world to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary.
I do this in the name of Jesus in as far as I am able, united to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, praying to the Father, in the Holy Spirit, with all the angels and saints and the souls in purgatory through the powerful intercession of Mary, Queen of Peace. Amen.
I further consecrate myself, all members of my family and ask the Holy Spirit to fill us. I spread the Blood of Jesus on all above, I cast the devil into hell away from all of us and consecrate all persons, in as far as I am able, to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart.
Prayer for Grace for Election and our Country
Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

R. Everybody is in such a
hurry.
What does God tell us about
most?
Jesus shows us we are not
people doers.
We are to live.
What does Jesus want us to
do?
Jesus wants us to take time
for each other, take time for
prayer, take time to be in
touch with ourselves and
Him.
Jesus doesn’t want us to
just be a human doer.
Time is here below, but
when we die hopefully we
will have the fullness of
life in heaven.
How are we preparing our
spirit to live forever in the
fullness of life?
We need to slow down and
smell the roses, become in
touch in our interior life -
in touch with God and others.
God is in control. I want that
oneness of Him with me all day.
I want that oneness of being
united in prayer, as a member
of the mystical body, to all
the Masses going on around
the world.
Being united as members of
the human race on earth,
being here, but seeing that
union that God wants, union
in our hearts, union with
others, knowing that
connection in God, is deep,
is united, is love, always
love, even in struggles,
fearlessness depending on
God on this journey, here
below in life with Mary,
Mother at our side.
We are united in the
Church to the communion
of saints, the souls in
purgatory and our brothers
and sisters in the Pilgrim
Church.
Remember a song that went,
“Slow down you move to fast…”
Sickness and old age has a
way to slow us down and see
how dependent we really are
in God.
I love the Ave Maria, I play
it on the piano, the one by
Schubert, and sing 9 Hail
Marys, then sing the
Memorare.
It gives me peace.
Mary is the Queen of Peace.
Mary is our spiritual Mother.
There is a fine line between
life and death, we are
vulnerable because of our
bodies, accidents, etc.
Slow down we move to
fast - what does God want
of us here below?
Life is in Him.
Smell the roses!
How is our relationship
with God.
God is to be first in our
lives! All day, Every day.
Smell the Roses.

Mysteries of Light
The Baptism of Jesus
1. Mark 1: 9-11It was at this time that Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptised in the Jordan by John. And at once, as he was coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens torn apart and the Spirit, like a dove, descending on him. And a voice came from heaven, ‘You are my Son, the Beloved; my favour rests on you.’
2. Jesus began His public life
with the Baptism of Jesus.
3. Jesus is introduced by His
Father "This is My beloved
Son in whom I am well
pleased."
4. Jesus comes the servant of
the Father, the Son of God.
5. Luke 7:28'I tell you, of all the children born to women, there is no one greater than John; yet the least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.'

Jesus replied: In all truth I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God without being born through water and the Spirit;
7. This was the beginning of
Jesus’ public ministry.
8. The Holy Spirit was seen
in the form of a dove, over
Jesus’ head.9. Song: A Song from Jesus!
10. Jesus had followers, He
calls us to follow Him.
The Marriage at Cana
1. John 2: 1-10On the third day there was a wedding at Cana in Galilee. The mother of Jesus was there, and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited. And they ran out of wine, since the wine provided for the feast had all been used, and the mother of Jesus said to him, ‘They have no wine.’ Jesus said, ‘Woman, what do you want from me? My hour has not come yet.’ His mother said to the servants, ‘Do whatever he tells you.’ There were six stone water jars standing there, meant for the ablutions that are customary among the Jews: each could hold twenty or thirty gallons. Jesus said to the servants, ‘Fill the jars with water,’ and they filled them to the brim. Then he said to them, ‘Draw some out now and take it to the president of the feast.’ They did this; the president tasted the water, and it had turned into wine. Having no idea where it came from—though the servants who had drawn the water knew—the president of the feast called the bridegroom and said, ‘Everyone serves good wine first and the worse wine when the guests are well wined; but you have kept the best wine till now.’
2. Jesus worked many
miracles and gave many
teachings.
3. Mary has powerful
intercession.
4. Jesus changed water into
wine.
5. Jesus enlists our help to
spread, the Good News.
6. God's servant would
establish justice in the
world.
7. Jesus was to bring light
to all the nations.
8. Jesus is God's perfect
servant.
9. A sacrifice is a gift of
our self.

than a gift to us, we
worship and honor our
Creator through this gift,
sacrifice at Mass.
The Mass is the sacrifice of
Calvary, sacramentally
made present.
Building the Kingdom of God
1. Matthew 5: 3-12How blessed are the poor in spirit:
the kingdom of Heaven is theirs.
Blessed are the gentle:
they shall have the earth as inheritance.
Blessed are those who mourn:
they shall be comforted.
Blessed are those
who hunger and thirst for uprightness:
they shall have their fill.
Blessed are the merciful:
they shall have mercy shown them.
Blessed are the pure in heart:
they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers:
they shall be recognised
as children of God.
Blessed are those who are persecuted
in the cause of uprightness:
the kingdom of Heaven is theirs.Blessed are you when people abuse you and persecute you and
speak all kinds of calumny against you falsely on my account.
Rejoice and be glad, for your reward will be great in heaven; this
is how they persecuted the prophets before you.

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
10. The bread of life is the Word and the Eucharist.
We are fed by the bread of life.Jesus is the light of the world.
The Transfiguration
1. Luke 9:28-36
Now about eight days after this had been said, he took with him Peter, John and James and went up the mountain to pray. And it happened that, as he was praying, the aspect of his face was changed and his clothing became sparkling white. And suddenly there were two men talking to him; they were Moses and Elijah appearing in glory, and they were speaking of his passing which he was to accomplish in Jerusalem. Peter and his companions were heavy with sleep, but they woke up and saw his glory and the two men standing with him. As these were leaving him, Peter said to Jesus, ‘Master, it is wonderful for us to be here; so let us make three shelters, one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.’ He did not know what he was saying. As he was saying this, a cloud came and covered them with shadow; and when they went into the cloud the disciples were afraid. And a voice came from the cloud saying, ‘This is my Son, the Chosen One. Listen to him.’ And after the voice had spoken, Jesus was found alone. The disciples kept silence and, at that time, told no one what they had seen.
2. Moses and Elijah appeared in glory and spoke to Jesus.
3. Moses gave us the Law, the Commandments, Elijah was a prophet.
4. The voice of the Father was heard "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased, listen to Him".
5. The Lord is King, let us rejoice.
6. Jesus appeared in the brightest white light to them.
7. Jesus' dominion is an everlasting dominion.
8. Sing: I Am a God of Justice
9. It was wonderful, Jesus showed Peter, James and John this great vision on Mt. Tabor, and they heard the voice of the Father.
10. This helped prepare them to see Jesus glorified and in great light in His resurrected body.
The Institution of the Eucharist
1. 1 Corinthians 11:23-26
For the tradition I received from the Lord and also handed on to you is that on the night he was betrayed, the Lord Jesus took some bread, and after he had given thanks, he broke it, and he said, 'This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.' And in the same way, with the cup after supper, saying, 'This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Whenever you drink it, do this as a memorial of me.' Whenever you eat this bread, then, and drink this cup, you are proclaiming the Lord's death until he comes.
2. Sing: I Love You Jesus
3. Sing: I Am the Bread of Life
4. Jesus is truly present in His Divinity and humanity in the Eucharist.
5. This is a great gift of love where Jesus gives us Himself in the Eucharist.
6. Jesus comes to us Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity in the Eucharist.
7. Luke 9: 11-17
But the crowds got to know and they went after him. He made them welcome and talked to them about the kingdom of God; and he cured those who were in need of healing.
It was late afternoon when the Twelve came up to him and said, 'Send the people away, and they can go to the villages and farms round about to find lodging and food; for we are in a lonely place here.' He replied, 'Give them something to eat yourselves.' But they said, 'We have no more than five loaves and two fish, unless we are to go ourselves and buy food for all these people.' For there were about five thousand men. But he said to his disciples, 'Get them to sit down in parties of about fifty.' They did so and made them all sit down. Then he took the five loaves and two fish, raised his eyes to heaven, and said the blessing over them; then he broke them and handed them to his disciples to distribute among the crowd. They all ate as much as they wanted, and when the scraps left over were collected they filled twelve baskets.
8. John 6: 57
As the living Father sent me
and I draw life from the Father,
so whoever eats me
will also draw life from me.
9. Dear God we love You so much, thank You for the Eucharist
10. Song: Your Presence Pervades my Soul
R. These are the Mysteries of Light.
Jesus is the Light of the world.
Come to me Lord and possess my soul. Amen

|
Guiding Light homily series — Reflect on the Word — Cycle B The Word leaves an impression on our souls. In my thoughts and reflections are born a more tangible understanding of these eternal concepts presented in the Gospels and the readings. Anyone can read a sentence, but not anyone can absorb it's true meaning. Truth, in this day and age, is almost a matter of opinion or individual entitlement. We believe that Christ's truth is our Roman Catholic Church. We, as priests, champion it's teachings; we are ambassadors for the Pope and Christ to those faces looking at us. We are the light by which our congregation reads to reflect upon real truth and we do it hand in hand. $10 |
Guiding Light homily series — Steadfast to the Son — Cycle A The sunflower is a great example of how we should be steadfastly guided by light. What a powerful thought that this exceptional plant is not stuck in one pose day in and day out, yet adaptable and magnetized to the sun. We feel the same about our Son. Our heads turns to face Christ as each day presents its challenges to find light. We join together like plants in a field and soak up the Son through the pulpit. We are a warm circle of strength using the wind of our breath to carry our priests' words, Christ's words, to new rich soil. $10 |
Guiding Light — Focusing on the Word — Cycle B At times we may feel that our path to Christ is a bit "out of focus". Like the disciples in the Book of Mark, this ordinary life clouds our vision of Christ's Divinity. We may doubt the practicality or possibility of applying His teachings and example to our modern life. Cycle B's homilies are a "guiding light" to help us realize Jesus' Messianic greatness and His promise of better things to come. $10 |
Guiding Light — Feed My Soul — Cycle C In a world rapidly advancing and encouraging personal gain, we are faced with modern problems. There is a challenge to find time in our busy schedules for Sunday Mass or a family meal. We are able to research, shop, bank and even work without hearing one human voice. It is no wonder that we may often feel disconnected and famished at our week's end. In Fr. Joe's third book of homilies from Cycle C, we are reminded of the charity that Christ intended us to show each other. We have a calling to turn the other cheek and be the Good Samaritan to others. We are rewarded with the Father's kingdom and love when we are not worthy. We are not left alone or hungry. $10 |
