                Mary appeared all dressed in

                apparitions in all — The Lady
                gave her the spring —

                    Bernadette heard the Lady tell
                her she was the Immaculate
                Conception — she went to the priest —
                Bernadette was interrogated by the
                police — Bernadette never changed
                her story

                the power of God — there were other healings

                    5,000,000 people pass through
                Lourdes every year

                    What is God's love?

                    Can we accept God's will?

                We don't really believe God loves
                    us — many of us

                    God gives us a cross so we
                        will know resurrection —

                A God cares for us —

                God allows suffering for our
                    own good —

                Healing in the heart is what
                    we all need and we need
                    to believe God loves us
                    so much

                Jesus came to the world, Our Savior

                Jesus wants us to love Him and thank
                    Him for dying and rising and giving
                    us this sharing in His life                   

                God has given us this great gift
                    the priest and the Church

                Think of the water at the well —

John 4: 5-42

On the way he came to the Samaritan town called Sychar near the land that Jacob gave to his son Joseph. Jacob’s well was there and Jesus, tired by the journey, sat down by the well. It was about the sixth hour. When a Samaritan woman came to draw water, Jesus said to her, ‘Give me something to drink.’ His disciples had gone into the town to buy food. The Samaritan woman said to him, ‘You are a Jew. How is it that you ask me, a Samaritan, for something to drink?’—Jews, of course, do not associate with Samaritans. Jesus replied to her:

    If you only knew what God is offering
    and who it is that is saying to you,
    ‘Give me something to drink,’
    you would have been the one to ask,
    and he would have given you living water.

    ‘You have no bucket, sir,’ she answered, ‘and the well is deep: how do you get this living water? Are you a greater man than our father Jacob, who gave us this well and drank from it himself with his sons and his cattle?’ Jesus replied:

    Whoever drinks this water
    will be thirsty again;
    but no one who drinks the water
        that I shall give
    will ever be thirsty again:
    the water that I shall give
    will become a spring of water within,
        welling up for eternal life.

    ‘Sir,’ said the woman, ‘give me some of that water, so that I may never be thirsty or come here again to draw water.’ ‘Go and call your husband,’ said Jesus to her, ‘and come back here.’ The woman answered, ‘I have no husband.’ Jesus said to her, ‘You are right to say, "I have no husband"; for although you have had five, the one you now have is not your husband. You spoke the truth there.’ ‘I see you are a prophet, sir,’ said the woman. ‘Our fathers worshipped on this mountain, though you say that Jerusalem is the place where one ought to worship.’ Jesus said:

    Believe me, woman, the hour is coming
    when you will worship the Father
    neither on this mountain
        nor in Jerusalem.
    You worship what you do not know;
    we worship what we do know;
    for salvation comes from the Jews.
    But the hour is coming—
        indeed is already here—
    when true worshippers
        will worship the Father
            in spirit and truth:
    that is the kind of worshipper
    the Father seeks.
    God is spirit,
    and those who worship
    must worship in spirit and truth.

    The woman said to him, ‘I know that Messiah—that is, Christ—is coming; and when he comes he will explain everything.’ Jesus said, ‘That is who I am, I who speak to you.’

    At this point his disciples returned and were surprised to find him speaking to a woman, though none of them asked, ‘What do you want from her?’ or, ‘What are you talking to her about?’ The woman put down her water jar and hurried back to the town to tell the people, ‘Come and see a man who has told me everything I have done; could this be the Christ?’ This brought people out of the town and they made their way towards him.

    Meanwhile, the disciples were urging him, ‘Rabbi, do have something to eat’; but he said, ‘I have food to eat that you do not know about.’ So the disciples said to one another, ‘Has someone brought him food?’ But Jesus said:

    My food
    is to do the will of the one who sent me,
    and to complete his work.
    Do you not have a saying:
    Four months and then the harvest?
    Well, I tell you,
    look around you, look at the fields;
    already they are white,
        ready for harvest!
    Already the reaper
        is being paid his wages,
    already he is bringing in the grain
        for eternal life,
    so that sower and reaper
        can rejoice together.
    For here the proverb holds true:
    one sows, another reaps;
    I sent you to reap
    a harvest you have not laboured for.
    Others have laboured for it;
    and you have come
        into the rewards of their labour.

    Many Samaritans of that town believed in him on the strength of the woman’s words of testimony, ‘He told me everything I have done.’ So, when the Samaritans came up to him, they begged him to stay with them. He stayed for two days, and many more came to believe on the strength of the words he spoke to them; and they said to the woman, ‘Now we believe no longer because of what you told us; we have heard him ourselves and we know that he is indeed the Saviour of the world.’

    "During her appearance in July, Our Lady, in answer to Lucia's plea, promised that in October she would work a great miracle so that all might believe and know who she was. Again, the Mother of God told the children to sacrifice themselves for sinners and to say many times, especially when making a sacrifice, this prayer: "O my Jesus, I offer this for love of Thee, for the conversion of poor sinners, and in reparation for all the sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary." ⁽¹¹⁾

    "During this same July apparition, Mary showed the three children a vision of Hell. She told them:

    "You have seen Hell, where the souls of poor sinners go. To save them, God wishes to establish, in the world, devotion to my Immaculate Heart. If people do what I tell you, many souls will be saved and there will be peace.

    "The war (World War I, then raging) is going to end. But if people do not stop offending God, another and worse one will begin in the reign of Pius XI. When you shall see a night illuminated by an unknown light [January 2, 1938], know that this is the great sign that God gives you that He is going to punish the world for its many crimes by means of war, hunger, and persecution of the Church and the Holy Father. ⁽¹²⁾

    "To prevent this, I shall come to ask for the consecration of Russia to my Immaculate Heart and the Communion of Reparation on the five first Saturdays. If my requests are granted, Russia will be converted and there will be peace. If not, she will scatter her errors throughout the world, provoking wars and persecutions of the Church. The good will be martyred, the Holy Father will have much to suffer, and various nations will be destroyed....

    "But in the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph, the Holy Father will consecrate Russia to me, Russia will be converted, and a certain period of peace will be granted to the world." ⁽¹³⁾

                    here is what happened

October 13, 1917

    On October 13, 1917, there were more than 70,000 people gathered in the Cova da Iria in Fatima, Portugal. They had come to observe a miracle which had been foretold by the Blessed Virgin to three young visionaries: Lucia dos Santos, and her two cousins, Jacinta and Francisco Marto. (1) Shortly after noon, Our Lady appeared to the three visionaries:

    As the Lady was about to leave, she pointed to the sun. Lucy excitedly repeated the gesture, and the people looked into the sky. The rain had ceased, the clouds parted, and the sun shone forth, but not in its usual brilliance. Instead, it appeared like a silver disc, pale as the moon, at which all could gaze without straining their eyes. Suddenly, impelled by some mysterious force, the disc began to whirl in the sky, casting off great shafts of multicolored light. Red, green, blue, yellow, violet—the enormous rays shot across the sky at all angles, lighting up the entire countryside for many miles around, but particularly the upturned faces of those 70,000 spellbound people.

    After a few moments the wonder stopped, but resumed again a second and a third time—three times in all—within about 12 minutes. It seemed that the whole world was on fire, with the sun spinning at a greater speed each time.

    Then a gasp of terror rose from the crowd, for the sun seemed to tear itself from the heavens and come crashing down upon the horrified multitude.... Just when it seemed that the ball of fire would fall upon and destroy them, the miracle ceased, and the sun resumed its normal place in the sky, shining forth as peacefully as ever.

    When the people arose from the ground, cries of astonishment were heard on all sides. Their clothes, which had been soaking wet and muddy, now were clean and dry. Many of the sick and crippled had been cured of their afflictions. ⁽²⁾

Lourdes—And My Own
Marian Experience
 

    Since my first pilgrimage to Lourdes marked a very definitive stage in Mary's dealings with me—in her call to me—I am going to utilize this entry on Lourdes to share with you certain aspects of my Marian experience. In none of my previous books have I shared my spiritual experience in such a direct fashion. I am doing so now only because I believe it is Mary's wish that I do so. May my sharing of Mary's maternal love manifested to me be an occasion for your own reflection on Mary's goodness to you.

    I have always been blessed with a strong devotion to Mary. I feel this gift is one of God's greatest graces given to me. I remember at an early age often repeating the Hail Mary. Later, I was very much attracted to Our Lady's requests at Fatima. I made the five first Saturdays and practiced what I was told were the other aspects of Mary's Fatima message.
 

    After graduating from college I entered the Jesuits. Our first phase of training consists of two years of novitiate—a period in which one is introduced into the spiritual life according to the Jesuit tradition. This first period of Jesuit training marked a very significant growth in my devotion to Mary.

    As I progressed in my Jesuit life over the years, Mary was always a loving, caring mother. I always felt, among other things, that she was a lifeline—always there in a special way at particularly difficult stages of the spiritual journey, not only then, but certainly then. I was not always as loyal a child of Mary as I should have been, but she always kept me aware of her very important role in our lives.

    In early 1989 I was in Europe—destination Rome. As I was traveling toward Italy from Northern Europe, I made plans to stop at Lourdes. I considered this a very special stop on my itinerary.

    As I left Toulouse on the train for Lourdes, it was raining. Not very far from Toulouse, the rain stopped and the sun appeared. I considered this a gift from Mary.
 

    I walked from the Lourdes train station to the Shrine. It was a day in January, sunny and pleasant, but, as would be expected at that time of the year, there were less than 25 pilgrims at the grotto site. The atmosphere was very special. One realized this was a very holy place. I sat on one of the benches and began to pray. All of a sudden, I was deeply impressed with this thought: "I have finally come home." The thought seemed to come from outside of me, similar to an infused idea. I did not fully understand what this idea meant. I had not seriously strayed from God, so the idea of "coming home" did not mean I was returning as a prodigal son. Nor did the idea mean that I had finally found Mary, since, as I have stated above, I have always been blessed with a strong devotion to her. I was, then, somewhat puzzled at what the words "I have finally come home" meant. My experience, however, was a very profound one as I sat there before the grotto of Mary. I wept tears of peace and consolation. This was to be my first experience of the gift of tears at a Marian shrine. Later I would also experience this gift at Fatima, Guadalupe, and Medjugorje. The gift of tears on these occasions would always be in confirmation of a special interior enlightenment.

    In the months that followed, whenever I recalled these words impressed upon me at Lourdes, I was still not sure of their meaning. I did, though, decide to write this book on Mary. I had long wanted to write such a book, but did not feel prepared to do so until now.
 

    I was privileged to be at Fatima for the 75th anniversary of the October 13 apparition of Mary to the three young visionaries—Lucia, Jacinta, and Francisco. I had a conviction that Mary wanted me there at that particular time. That I was able to be present for this momentous occasion was another special gift of Mary to me.
 

    On October 12, the eve of the anniversary day, I was praying in the basilica at Fatima. I was close to the altar. In the sanctuary was a statue of Our Lady of Fatima. I prayed that Mary would draw me closer than ever to the Heart of Jesus and to her own Immaculate Heart. I also prayed that I would be able, as never before, to work for the spread of devotion to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary.

    As I prayed I would often glance at Mary's statue, and when I did, I was often given the gift of tears—I know it was a special gift because I myself had no control over when this would or would not take place. The same thing happened the next day. It was a most profound spiritual experience—even more so than the one at Lourdes.

    On the 13th itself, there were about one million pilgrims present for the anniversary occasion. At communion time of the outdoor Mass I felt a special confirmation of the above-mentioned experience.

    From Fatima I went to Lourdes. This time, unlike my first visit, I was present along with thousands of other pilgrims. It is indeed a special experience to be at Lourdes with so many others for the impressive candlelight rosary procession at night and for other activities. Being personally present amidst all this gives one a sense of why Lourdes has been such an attraction for millions and millions of pilgrims over the years. Again, my experience at the grotto of Our Lady was very special, as was the making of the Way of the Cross on the hill high above the basilicas and the grotto.
 

    A few months after my visits to Fatima and Lourdes I was at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City. It was another special gift to be able to be there for the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe on December 12. What an inspiration it is to be there on this most special day—to see the Mexican people come from miles and miles away for this feast which is so dear to their hearts. Their devotion to Our Lady is most remarkable. Regarding myself, the entire pilgrimage prior to the feast day was rather subdued—peaceful, but no special experience. I remained in such a state on the feast itself up to and including most of the Mass at the Shrine. Then at communion time I was gifted with the same type of deep experience which had occurred at Lourdes and Fatima. I was rather suddenly struck with a deep conviction that I am protected by Mary's mantle and that I should not be afraid or worry. Again, this interior enlightenment was accompanied by the gift of tears.

    My final pilgrimage was to Medjugorje—December 28, 1992, to January 4, 1993. Again, after prayer, I had developed the conviction that Mary wanted me there for her great feast of January 1st—which, of course, is the feast of Mary, Mother of God. I thought something special would happen on that day, although I did not know precisely what.

    As was the case at Guadalupe, nothing out of the ordinary happened to me on the days previous to January 1. I did not see any phenomena concerning the sun which many pilgrims have observed over the years at Medjugorje. The chain on my rosary did not change to gold—as has occurred with many of the Medjugorje pilgrims. But Mary did have her gift for me. Just as I had hoped, something special did occur on the feast of January 1. At Mass, after receiving communion, I received a profound experience of Mary's motherhood toward me and also a profound conviction of Jesus' love for me. This conviction of Jesus' love for me may be the most special I have ever experienced. Again, these interior enlightenments were accompanied by the gift of tears.

    Later that day I had the great privilege of being present in the choir loft for the daily apparition of Our Lady. Ivan was the only visionary present in Church this particular day. Although I felt extremely blessed to be present for the apparition—which, of course, only Ivan himself could see—I had no special inner experience at this time. Others in our group said they did have a special personal experience at the time of the apparition. My special experience of the day had indeed occurred earlier at Mass.
 

    Since that first visit to Lourdes when I was suddenly struck with the thought, "I have finally come home," much has happened regarding my relationship with Mary. I now believe I know the meaning of those words impressed upon me at Lourdes in January, 1989. More than three years later Mary began to instruct me regarding the precise meaning of those words. She has, in her maternal love for me, entered my life as never before. She has led me to consecrate myself to the Heart of Christ and to her Immaculate Heart in a very meaningful manner. In an extraordinary fashion she has given me a mission to fulfill in the service of Jesus. As she cooperates with the Holy Spirit in my ongoing transformation in Christ, she is leading me along paths which I have never traveled before. I can never thank her adequately for her goodness to me.

    The above constitutes some of the main aspects of my personal Marian pilgrimage over the years. You also have your own Marian experience, and I am sure you have shed your own tears of joy and peace along the way.

    If you have not yet done so, I strongly encourage you to consecrate yourself to the Heart of Jesus and to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. In consecrating yourself to Mary—in entrusting yourself entirely to her—you will be enabling her to lead you ever closer to the Heart of Christ. She will accomplish marvels in you as she aids you, in cooperation with the Holy Spirit, in living out your consecration to the Sacred Heart. Indeed, she will ever be Mother at your side as you come closer to the Father through Christ and in the Holy Spirit.

    I have never been happier, never more at peace, than I presently am. Since Mary has drawn me to consecrate myself to her Immaculate Heart, marvelous changes have taken place within me. She has brought me to the Heart of Jesus in a way I had not experienced before.
 

    If you have given yourself totally to Mary—and this is what consecration to her Immaculate Heart means—you have had similar experiences.

    Having consecrated ourselves to Mary, we feel secure as we rest in her loving, maternal Heart. There she comforts us when we are sad—there she wipes away our tears. There she rejoices with us when we rejoice. There she smiles as we share with her our accomplishments for Christ. There she encourages us when we are fearful. There she strengthens us for the most difficult tasks.

    What a great gift Jesus has bestowed upon us in giving Mary to us as our mother! Let us thank Him each day for this Mother who loves us with an unfathomable love. We must try to grow in the appreciation of this love. The more we do so, the more we want to cry out, "O Mother, how loving, caring, and tender you are! Draw us ever closer to your Immaculate Heart where you accomplish your marvels within us."

Mary:  I stood beneath the cross of my Son, and my Heart was in such pain for I saw Him before my eyes. I saw Him covered with blood. I saw Him die. My Heart, my children, my Heart to watch my Son, but my Heart, my Heart, how I suffered for my little children of the world that give in to this world and give up the love of my Son. O my little children of light, I give you this message. Carry this light into the darkness for your Mother Mary, for I stood beneath the cross and I cried. I cried for the little ones. I cried for the young ones, the ones that do not care and will lose their souls. How do I make you see for you will not listen to me? What can I do? I come. I appear. I beg. I plead. I give you these gifts from my Son, and you reject me. I do not deliver messages very often anymore for I have been ignored. The message is the same. You do not read the messages I have given to you. Please help me. Help the little children. I appear. I appear. I appear, and I am ignored. I stood beneath the cross, and I cried. I cried, and my Heart was in such anguish for my little children, for I am searching for them this day as I searched for the Child Jesus. Please, please help me. I cannot hold back the hand of my Son any longer. I am Mary, your Mother. I ask you to help my children. You are my children of light.

R. Mary appeared in China, Indiana while I received this message and she was so beautiful. This is the third visit in 3 days. She appeared every day of the retreat.

    Day 1 for 45 minutes at Our Lady of the Holy Spirit Center.

    Day 2 during the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, all through the Mass in China, Indiana.

    Day 3 about 4:30 pm after the third day of prayer and this is the message transcribed from a tape.

  

Mary:  I am Mary your Mother and I have come to deliver this message on the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe that my Son Jesus has called this Movement to majorly help to bring to completion the mission that I began at Fatima. And it is displeasing to Him that more have not answered the call for I appeared in Clearwater for all those years. And although they knew that there was something that was so important that God the Father allowed me to come there, there was the resistance to try to make the apparition into what men wanted of it.

    The apparition was given there to lead the men more and more to the prayer, the prayer in the prayer manual for the priests, the Church and the world and to the instrument given by my Son to help lead the hierarchy into consecrating their dioceses more and more to the Sacred Heart and to my Immaculate Heart.

    It is in great sorrow, for it has affected many of my children in schools and in nursing homes who could have helped, but I come to you today with a joy of my Immaculate Heart to thank you for the fervor with which you have responded to the call of my Son Jesus over all these years. I am Our Lady of Guadalupe, Our Lady of Clearwater, Our Lady of Fatima, Our Lady of Fatima in the Americas.

Mary: I am asking you again to help me with all your heart through your prayer, through your committedness, with your yes to the call of my Son Jesus to serve this Movement as the leaders. Satan will press down more and more and it is in your fervor to do your adoration and your attendance at daily Mass that you will have the weapons to fight for satan does not like the work of the Shepherds of Christ. He will press down and you must fight him. You are at battle my little children and you have answered the call of my Son Jesus.

    I am Mary your Mother, please publish this message that others will pray the prayers and tremendous grace will be granted for healing in your families, for the priests, the Church and the world, for the parishes that pray the prayers and spreading the glass from my image face and praying the prayers you will know special favors from Jesus my Son.

    As you pray the prayers and you meditate on the promises given to St. Margaret Mary you will know more and more how important it is to your lives, to your families, to the souls of this earth, to the places to consecrate all persons and places to the Sacred Heart and the Immaculate Heart.

    In the end the Sacred Heart of Jesus will reign and my Immaculate Heart will triumph and there will be a certain period of peace granted to the world. You must not lose hope, not for one moment for my Son Jesus is so close to you and guiding you and I am always by your side.

    Pray to the Holy Spirit that He will fill you more and more with His grace, that you will see, that you will be enlightened, that you follow the will of the Father, that you will not give into the tactics of satan to divide you or to lead you from your path. Go to the Eucharist and be filled with a greater love for God. This will be your pillar of strength in a cold night when you are tired and weary, Jesus will be with you forever.

    I am Mary your Mother, Our Lady of Guadalupe in the Americas speaking to you as Our Lady of Clearwater and Our Lady of Fatima, listen to me and publish this message that others will pray the prayers and help you to spread the Priestly Newsletter and the writings as my Son Jesus has asked you.     "I wish to share with you part of a message which Jesus gave us on October 13, 1994. The message tells us about the expansion of the Shepherds of Christ movement:

    'My beloved priest-companion, today I come to you with another mission. I am asking you to establish Shepherds of Christ Ministries. At My request you have already begun the priestly newsletter, "Shepherds of Christ", and the prayer chapters, Shepherds of Christ Associates...

    'I am giving you this message on this day, the 77th Anniversary of the Great Apparition at Fatima, because of the close connection between the Shepherds of Christ movement and the Fatima message. The Fatima message is centered in devotion to My Heart and My Mother's Heart, especially in consecration to Our Hearts. Shepherds of Christ Ministries is also centered in devotion to Our Hearts. I will use Shepherds of Christ Ministries as a great instrument in helping to bring about the triumph of the Immaculate Heart and the reign of My Sacred Heart. When this occurs, My Church and the world will be experiencing the great era of peace promised by My Mother at Fatima.

    'Today, then, October 13, 1994, the 77th Anniversary of the Great Apparition at Fatima, marks the birth of Shepherds of Christ Ministries. I pour forth the great love of My Sacred Heart to all. I am Jesus, Chief Shepherd of the flock.'

Apostles of the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus

My dear fellow Associate Members,

Jesus is calling special apostles to join a new division of the Shepherds of Christ Movement. Here is a message from Jesus given to Father Carter:

    My beloved priest-companion, I am requesting that a new prayer movement be started under the direction of Shepherds of Christ Ministries. I am asking for volunteers who are willing to pray before the Blessed Sacrament for one hour, twice-weekly. Members of the Shepherds of Christ prayer chapters, as well as others, are to be invited to join this movement.

    These apostles are to pray for the intentions I am giving you. For part of the hour they are to use the prayers of the Shepherds of Christ Associates Handbook. They may spend the rest of the hour as they so choose.

    I will use this new prayer movement within My Shepherds of Christ Ministries in a powerful way to help in the renewal of My Church and the world. I will give great graces to those who join this movement. The name, Apostles of the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus, is to be given to this movement.

    I am inviting My beloved Rita Ring to be coordinator for this activity.

    I pour out the great love of My Sacred Heart to all. I am Jesus, Chief Shepherd of the flock.

    This is indeed a special calling for us to unite in one heart with His Eucharistic Heart and pray for the following intentions:

1. For the spread of the devotion to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary culminating in the reign of the Sacred Heart and the triumph of the Immaculate Heart.

R. We want to pray for faith, for hope and charity.

 

Jesus is Baptized by John in the Jordan

1) R. These are the mysteries of light and as we pray, Mary prays with us.

3) Sing: Jesus, Jesus, Jesus the light of the world etc.

5) R. And John baptized Jesus in the Jordan, and above Him was a dove, and a voice from the heavens was heard, "This is My beloved Son in whom I am well pleased." The Father sent His Son into the world, that we would know how to be, more and more, sons of God. But as we go to the Immaculate Heart of our Mother, the Holy Spirit is working in Mary's heart, bringing us forth in that image and likeness of God, filling us more and more with His grace. Mary is full of grace. Mary is the Mediatrix of all grace. Within the womb of Mary, Jesus was formed, through the power of the Holy Spirit. What an awesome place, this womb of Mary. What an awesome place, the Immaculate Heart of Mary, the spiritual womb. And it is for us to place ourselves in the heart of Mary and in the Heart of Jesus, our little heaven on earth, to put our children in Their Hearts, to put our families, to put the world, to put the Church.

    Dear God, we consecrate the whole Church and the world, to the Sacred Heart and to the Immaculate Heart, and we place them in Your Hearts as far as we are able, that there will be peace on this earth, that there will be love in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary, the Hearts of purest and tenderest love. That in the world that is getting more and more cold, because of the media, because of many families, where maybe we do other things and not spend time with each other, because maybe we don't pray enough, that Your grace will open our eyes, to see with the light of seven suns, and say, "God, God, God help us to have this light, because Your light fills us and brings us happiness, for it is for this why we were created."

    And there was John the Baptist baptizing Jesus in the Jordan and a voice from the heavens, "This is My beloved Son in whom I am well pleased." Oh God help us to listen to You. Help us to model our lives after You, help us to give our lives to Your Sacred Heart, and to the heart of Mary, our spiritual Mother. We have joy because there is hope in Him. And so Pope John Paul II said, "Be Not Afraid." Pray to all the angels and saints up there. Pray to the Father, in the Name of Jesus, in the Holy Spirit, united to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, with all the angels and saints — offer up everything that you do, every day to the Mass, that we will be united deeply together, as members of the body of Christ. We have hope. This is the message that I circulate, the message that God will outpour His grace, when we pray this way. For 17 years God has been teaching me and Fr. Carter, how to pray.

    Use the prayers He has given, and say the Morning Offering, give your heart to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary. Say those prayers in the Red Prayer Manual, and He promises to take you deeper into His Heart and Mary's heart. What a promise. Do you remember saying those promises to the Sacred Heart? Weren't they beautiful? I want my heart, my name written on His Heart. I want peace in my home and that's what happens from this devotion to the Sacred Heart. Families who pray the prayers, can tell you how there is peace with their families. They may not be perfect, but God outpours special grace, for praying those prayers in the Red Prayer Manual, grace for the priests, the Church and the world — grace for us to take us deeper into His Heart, grace for our families. And so I know we all have special intentions tonight that we want to pray for. I want to pray for all those and my intentions, and for all the intentions of the Sacred Heart, for everything on my list, that our Lord ask us to pray for, for the movement and everything on Jerry's list. And I unite all these prayers with all the people that are praying all over the United States with us, and the world if they can tune in and listen.

6) Jesus: And I come to you that you will know the peace that your heart desires, but you must let go. For when you try to control everything, you are saying, "Oh Jesus, not today, I have the agenda and You get behind me." And I say, "Let go. Surrender. Live in the Father's will in love. Pray to the Holy Spirit that you are filled with the wisdom to know the will of God, and in that lies your happiness, that everything that you do, no matter how small, is done to please the Father and to love. For I am love and I call you to love. Love God and love one another. In this lies your joy and your peace.

7) Mary: My children, I come to you, as you pray this rosary, and I pray with you, for the peace of this world, that men will know the love of my Son Jesus. And I ask you to spread the messages of His Heart given in the Blue Books, that He has given to you. For from them, many will go to the Blessed Sacrament, and receive special grace, special grace to live life more fully. I am Mary your Mother. Listen to my request.

8) Jesus: Do you believe? Or are you afraid? Let go, My precious one, for I am Jesus and I am with you now. Are you tied in a knot? What is it that you are seeking? Do you not know that I am always with you, that I never leave you, and that you can come to My Heart, that you can pray? God the Father, the Holy Spirit and I will fill you with the fire of God's love. Oh precious child of My Father, you were created uniquely to love. And no one can love as you or give to the world. You must see your specialness, and you must seek to do the Father's will, be empowered in this, that God has called you to great holiness, to live lives that will help others in the world, to pray as intercessors, to believe that your prayers are mighty prayers, because My power is Almighty. And you need not fear for I am with you this day, in this place. Come and know My love.

9) Jesus: Oh blessed of My Father, you were created with such dignity. It is the lack of respect for the human person, that is of great concern. You must pray for this, for the dignity of man, that the people of this earth, will respect the dignity of man, will respect life. But you have been called to this special mission, to pray and to live holy lives, in obedience to the commandments of God, to go to Mass whenever you can go, but to say your Morning Offering every day, and unite everything that you do, to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, to tell others to pray their Morning Offering, to pray as a family your Morning Offering, to give your hearts, to My Heart and the heart of My Mother, to display images of Our Two Hearts in your homes, and to have this devotion in your home. I will be King and Center of your hearts, your family, your homes, your lives. I will help you in your vocation, I will help you in your life. Oh precious child of Mine, I love you so dearly. Listen to Me now. Let go and let God.

10) Jesus: And a voice from the heavens was heard, "This is My beloved Son in whom I am well pleased." The Mysteries of Light. I am the Light of the World.

R. And as He speaks He is covered with light. And He is telling us these things, that we will listen, that we will turn to the light, that we will focus on this and that we will pray, that we will love one another and forgive, that we will recognize that we are imperfect, and if it is God's will and at all possible, we will continue to try to work with one another, to have lives of unity and love and peace, that we will recognize the calling of baptism, by being a member of the body of Christ, in being a strong unit in this world.

  

R. Dear God, you know all of our intentions here. We want the world to be the way that You want it to be. We are sorry for the sins of men. And we want the Church to grow in ever greater holiness, for we and the Church and the world are in the state of becoming. And we must give our lives to You, that we can be molded more and more, into the image and likeness of God, as You desire.

    Awesomeness! That's how I describe God. Awesomeness! As I explore more and more, insight into the mystery, and He reveals more of Himself to me, and I go to the Word and the Eucharist, and realize that in everything I do all day, that I am united to the Mass, and yet are there struggles? — yes — because we are imperfect, we all have tendencies because of our wounded human nature, and the devil presses in and talks to us, many times, in his fallacious reasoning, trying to get us to think things that are not true, that can lead to hatred and hurt.

    And yet we must go to our heart and pray to God and listen to Him, and try to do the will of God, in Wisdom and Knowledge, heartfelt Wisdom, the Wisdom that God will impart to us, to live our lives as He intends. Believe and pray. Do not give into that negative thinking, the kind that runs on and on and on, that makes us worry incessantly about things that may or may never happens. For what good does it do, even turning on the television, and turning on the news, that fear — oh start the fear!

    We want to know that God is near. We want to hear what He wants us to do, and we want to be confident and strong, even though we suffer, He shows us that our life is — death - resurrection. Sometimes we have to keep working on something. But the devil is really strong, and we can't give in to those feelings that are — "Oh I don't feel so good today, so I will pick a fight with whoever I am starting to think about, that violated me." And then just because we are jealous, heap all the jealousies of our life, on that one individual — unhealed relationships of the past.

    We have been chosen by God to be special agents, living holy lives, praying, as intercessors for the priests, the Church and the world. That's always saying your Morning Offering, if it's just "I offer up everything I do all day united to the Mass for the priests, the Church and the world." And say for us too in the Shepherds of Christ, for the leaders, for the ones doing this, because we need your prayers. It is your prayers that are helping to renew the Church and the world. It is your prayers that has helped us send out in the past 2 1/2 years, 2,500,000 newsletters to the priests and the hierarchy, who have responded and thanked us. It is your prayers and your commitment, and you are part of this network where they are praying with us.

    God had a plan when He told Fr. Carter, and when he started giving me the messages in 1991, and showed me a vision of His Heart, saying that "You do not know what this Heart will do, to so many, to lead them deeper to My Heart." I didn't know anything, I was teaching college - math. I was just doing my thing and He took my voice away, after I started getting the messages, so I could spend that time in prayer. And I just let it all go. And that's why the Blue Books are here, because I surrendered to His will.

    I was a choir director. I was in a choir at the seminary. I was teaching at two colleges. I had a family. And I lost my voice. And I knelt on my knees during one of the spring breaks and said, "How can you do this to me? My kids are just about in school now and here I am and I can't even talk." And I kept praying to do the Father's will, using my voice as much as I could, until finally He said, "When you quit all this, you will get your voice back to do what I want." And I did. And that was in 1993.

    And I was writing the Blue Books for Jesus, for all the people that they touched, that really learned about the Eucharist, and going to daily Mass and adoration. I was playing Mass in the mornings and that was a good thing, but that was not what He wanted. I was teaching college — that was a good thing, but that was not what He wanted. He wanted the Blue Books. He wanted me to meet Fr. Carter, and to have the Blue Book Meetings, that led to the Shepherds of Christ, and then Mary appeared every day — every day from July 5, 1994 until September 5, 1995, and Fr. Carter was there for about 4 months, while the newsletter was started and the prayer manual.

    But I had to do what He told me. I said, "Oh God help me do Your will, I want to do Your will. And there I was, I lost my voice, and then I got down on my knees and said, "Hey wait a minute, I'm a teacher. How can you do this to me? I can't talk. I've prepared my life to teach college. Now the kids are off in school. How can you do this?" And He kept showing me visions of doors and keys, and they weren't the doors I thought. They were the doors that brought me to this, and that was what was in the messages from 1992, that we put on, a couple weeks ago, from 16 years ago —

    He taught us how to be intercessors, for this time when the economy is the way that it is, when there are the problem that there are, spiritually in the world, He taught us how to pray for this time, to be united as a strong unit, praying for the priests and the Church and the world. Do you believe? I have been taught how to pray for 17 years from Jesus. Pray with me. For He is taking us deeper and deeper into His Heart, and united to the Mass, our prayers are powerful. Believe and we can help the whole world.

Jesus: So there you are, My little sweet one. And you worry and you worry and you look around. Do you not know how very close I am to you? And when you go to Mass, where is our mind? Can you let go of those distractions that satan wants to plant in your head, so that when you are praying, especially at the consecration of the Mass, you can be so one united to Me in praying to the Father in the Holy Spirit, with all the angels and saints, that tremendous grace can be outpoured — the sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present. You say "Oh my little prayers don't make much difference." I have called you to be My instrument, to pray, to live a holy life, to say your Morning Offering. And I am outpouring My richest grace to you, to not give into those distractions, negative thoughts, worries and things that lead you nowhere. Pray and ask for God's help in all of your troubles, that you will do the things that you should in prudence, justice, temperance and fortitude.   Glory Be

  

The Marriage at Cana

R. And we can see in this marriage at Cana how important intercessory prayer is. This is considered the first public miracle of Christ, where He turned water into wine. And look what a gift we have in the Mass, where bread and wine are changed into the Body and Blood of Jesus. Thank You God. Forgive us for being so greedy about so stupid things, and not even saying Thank You for the Eucharist, that You have given to us, and our baptism in which we receive this sharing in Your life. And our human nature is elevated to share in Your Divine life, and our knowing and loving capacity is elevated. I love the Church so much God, Thank You, Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Jesus for coming and dying on the cross for us, and rising on the 3rd day. Thank You for this sharing in Your life.

1) R. I want to pray through the intercession of Mary, for Mary told Jesus, "They have no wine", and He said as much to her, "Well, what do you want Me to do about it?" But He turned the water into wine. Mary we pray for the needs of this earth. We pray through your powerful intercession. You pray with us. Will you ask your spouse, the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts that we are willing to do God's will, that we have a willing spirit as the Holy Spirit fills us, and enlightens us to know what God wants with us.

4) R. The most perfect union — between Jesus, a Divine Person, with a human and Divine nature — and Mary the highest human creature, is found in that relationship. And so the union of the Two Hearts, is a place to study that intimacy of love between Jesus and Mary, between Jesus and His Mother. And so people can describe things in dysfunction, and they can get caught down there and then they say, "Well, you should know this, this, this and this." But we need to pray as God has told us. This is what God wants, obedience to the commandments, to pray for the people of the world, that they will obey God's commandments, that they will have this order of obedience to God, rather than the disorder, because of disobeying God's laws and commandments.

5) R. Of giving in to those inclinations, the concupiscence of the flesh, of the wounded human nature, but seeking the things of the Spirit, that will lead us to greater life in God.

6) R. And so Jesus uses this wedding in the Marriage feast of Cana. And it is a wedding — it's the wedding meeting between you and Jesus, the bridegroom of your soul — and me and Jesus, who is the bridegroom of my soul. And I go to the Mass, and I walk the isle and I receive Jesus the Divine Almighty God in the Eucharist, who comes to me in His Divinity and humanity, no less present present than the day He walked the earth. And what happens - when this happens — He just outpours His life in Me. He gives me so much grace. We must get this message out in the Blue Books. It changed your life, and my life and so many people's lives. They got one Blue Book, and everybody that, almost, is in this Movement, came in here because of a Blue Book. Now you look at your relationship before you came into the Shepherds of Christ, even saying the prayers in the Prayer Manual, where Jesus is working to take you deeper into His Heart, where you go to the Eucharist, and He outpours His grace, so you are more deeply one in Him, because of the saturation of that grace.

The Kingdom of God

Sing: I Have Called You By Name

1) Jesus: I am with you now.

2) Jesus: I want you to help build My Kingdom here on earth, that your hearts will be holy, that your lives will be offered in the Morning Offering, everything that you do all day, for the priests, and the Church and the world, and that you will know that I am with you all day. You are mighty soldiers and I love you.

3) Jesus: I love you, I love you, I love you. Be confident that I am with you now.

4) Jesus: Do not listen to the negative voices, the fallacious reasoning that satan tempts you with, or give in to those feelings, "Oh I don't feel good. I can't do what God is calling me to do." What do you think satan is going to tell you? Let go to Me.

5) Jesus: Always praying, always being one in your vocation, knowing that I have called you by name, to pray for the priests, the Church and the world, and offer up everything that you do all day in the Morning Offering. Pray for your family this way. Pray for the needs that you have. Say the Hourly prayer — "Oh Jesus who has said, ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened to you — I ask, I seek, I knock that my prayer will be granted — through the powerful intercession of Our Lady." Pray whenever you can.

6) R. Dear Father, I pray in the Name of Your Son Jesus, in the Holy Spirit with all the angels and the saints and the souls of purgatory, through the intercession of Mary.

The Transfiguration

R. And He took some of the Apostles up Mt. Tabor, and He was transfigured before their face, and Moses and Elijah appeared. Moses was given the commandments and Elijah was a prophet, but Jesus was the perfection of the law and the prophets.

1) Jesus: I call you to help renew the Church and the world, to repent of your sins, to be faithful in loving Me and loving one another, that you will be My instruments to go into the world — leaders of My love, telling the people, "Jesus loves you. Here's a Blue Book."

2) Jesus: Open anywhere.

3) Jesus: Do you want to be holy?

4) Jesus: Surrender to Me.

5) Jesus: Give your heart to the heart of My Mother, that the Holy Spirit will work bringing you out more and more, as a child of the light, molded in My image and likeness. Believe, that I may fill you, that you will be happy, for you will be likened to Me, pleasing the Father, and filled with the fire of God's love, as the Holy Spirit sanctifies you, and gives you, more and more, sharing in Our abundant life.

7) R. And they went up to the mountain with Jesus, and they saw Him in glistening light. God wants us to go to the Eucharist, and the more we eat His Body and drink His Blood, the more we are changed. Don't you just love the Eucharist? I love our Church.

The Institution of the Eucharist

1) Mary: And I come to you my children, and I love you so very much. You do not even realize the great gift that God the Father is giving to you, in allowing Jesus to come to you in the Holy Eucharist, that priests can celebrate Mass, and can give to you the great gift that God has given in the Church. Through the pierced Heart of Jesus the Church was born — water for baptism and blood for the Eucharist. My children, thank your heavenly Father. Do not go around and complain, and act as if you are not given such gifts when you are. And He will bless you more and more abundantly, when you are grateful children, living to love and to serve Him, and obey the commandments. My children, I cry to you from this my place in Florida. Be pure in your heart, for He has called you, and He will use you in your lives, living holy lives as intercessors, and your families will be blessed. I am Mary, your Mother. Listen to my request.

2) Mary: Do you believe? Do you believe that I speak to you here? What do think Jesus would say if He wrote to you the letters as He did in the Blue Books, but to tell you of the gift of the Eucharist. And I watch you my little children, whine and complain. You must listen for you can help to change the world in being holy, in going to the Eucharist and thanking your Father, and consecrating your homes and your families and schools and churches, to the Sacred Heart and the Immaculate Heart, in meditating on the mysteries of the rosary, that you will know more and more about Our lives. My children, the Eucharist is a gift the Father gives to you, that my Son Jesus comes to you, no less present than the day He walked the earth, giving Himself to you, in His Divinity and humanity. Raise the roof and pray my children. Pray for the neglect that has been given, even by priests, who do not cherish the Eucharist as they should. (R. And her mouth moves as she speaks.) Precious little ones, you are so favored by your God. Harken to me for He will make you fishers of men. I am Mary, your Mother. Listen to me.

3) Mary: You do not even know the gift, that God has given to you in the Blue Books. Read the Blue Books and the Father will outpour His grace.

4) Mary: And I pray with you now — little ones, little ones, make a spiritual communion. Say "Jesus come to me, I love You so much. I want You to come to me in a spiritual communion, because I am so on fire in love with You." (R. She's so pretty.) I love you so much my children. This is the gift that you must cherish, the gift of the priest and the Church, the gift of the Eucharist, the gift of God with you today.

5) Mary: And I pray with you.

R. And she appears because she is so beautiful, so beautiful. I love you so much Mary, I love you, I love you, I love you. Thank you for this building. Thank you for this place, God the Father. Thank you for the rosaries, and the Blue Books and the Mass Book to teach us more and more, how to pray, to love it, to love the Word, to sing the Word, to feed us with Your Word and the Eucharist. Dear God this is our delight, to be feed with the Word and the Eucharist. Mary our Mother, teach us more and more about intimacy with God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Mary: And the Father, Son and Holy Spirit dwell in the graced baptized soul. Live in the Spirit my children, that your lives are lived in joy and peace and life. The Father has chosen you, and He wants you to know that you are favored by Him. Be proud to say you are a member of the Shepherds of Christ in the army of Jesus.

R. Oh dear God, hear our prayers. Amen. (Amen.)

R. You know it's so awesome when you think about even the Hail Mary, because it is so beautiful, because you say, 'Hail Mary full of grace the Lord is with thee, blessed art though among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus.' But look at every time we say the Hail Mary — we pray — 'Holy Mary Mother of God pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death' — we pray — 'now and at the hour of our death' — we pray for that last hour of death. And Mary knew that that would be important to us, to know that we wouldn't be afraid, even though we have to die, that God is preparing us always to know that He is with us, and we do not have to fear death. But we must be prepared and live holy lives, loving God and loving one another. 'Holy Mary Mother of God pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.'

R. Well, we will be closed on the 11th and the 12th — really the police wanted us to close, because there was just such a mob last year and there was a lot of things that just weren't really right, and it's a real safety thing. We just did not have the ability to protect that many people here, that even speak a foreign language than us. And the police told us, that they wanted us to not have that. We weren't prepared for that, for the safety of those people. And so there will not be the prayer service on the 11th and the 12th, and we will actually close the site. We will have police protection here, to stop the people from coming on the 11th and the 12th, because it is not safe.

    But the other nights we do the 6:20 prayers every night, and on December 17th we will be here again. I will be here at 6:20, and we will pray really, really hard. Not only that, it will be the 8 year anniversary on December 18th, of when Fr. Carter died, because the very end of the second millennium, he died the day after the anniversary, December 18th — right after the 6:20 prayers was when he died. And so on December 17th, we'll have the usual 6:20 prayer service here. And I know it would really please Our Lord and Our Lady if you came and prayed.

    Rosie, I don't think I told you this, but Our Lord wants you praying inside the building, in that room at night, and not outside anymore. And so the 6:20 prayers will be inside of the building here every night. You come in please, and say the Shepherds of Christ prayers with us, because God really does want us praying from this building for the priest, the Church and the world. Please take your vocation seriously.

    Mary and Jesus appeared to me, and They appeared this afternoon. Mary prayed throughout the whole rosary with us. Jesus was in magnificent light, and He is really with us. Please go into the internet and if there is anything, into the daily writing, that you need to know, listen to the retreat in China and pray with us.

    Help us if you can with this mailing of Fr. Joe's homily book, Cycle B. Just please pray for us, and for the priests and the hierarchy and the pope, because they really do think that you are praying for them, and its very, very important to them. So I just want to say that we will be open like we always are, but we are not going to be open on the 11th and the 12th, and if you could please pray for that, for all the intentions for that. We brought Bob back down here and I want to welcome Bob back here. Please pray for us as a community doing this work and the mailing and them printing Fr. Joe's book.

    And if you could help with your donations. It is hard. The building payment is about $11,000 a month and then there's other expenses that — for this little parcel of land, we have to pay a little bit for some parking places. We can use your help, if you can please help us. We have been paying on this building since 1998, and we got over a million left. But Jesus and Mary want us here. And take the Jesus and Mary water — it just majorly has helped people heal. And please pray for me, because I really do feel close to you. I feel close to you from this prayer service tonight, and I want to be united praying with you for all these needs that we mentioned. Thank you. Hope I get to see you again. This is Rita Ring.     I don't know if you remember, but in the Apostles Manual, it was about 12 days before Mary appeared here. But I had seen Mary every 5th for 2 1/2 years, and on December 5th of 1996, instead of Mary appearing, I was at Holy Cross-Immaculata then — Jesus appeared on the Crucifix at the point of death. Then I was told to put the Mary's Message tape out on the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, December 12, 1996, and then Mary appeared here on the building — it was 12 days after Jesus appeared on the cross. All this is in the Apostles Manual if you want to read it. And we have some of those out there. It is also on the internet. If you click into the archives - in Rita Ring's writings - you can bring up the Apostles Manual and read about it. Thanks a lot. Amen.
