Consecration Prayer for Peace
I consecrate Russia and the Ukraine to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
I further consecrate the priests, the Church and the world to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary.
I do this in the name of Jesus in as far as I am able, united to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, praying to the Father, in the Holy Spirit, with all the angels and saints and the souls in purgatory through the powerful intercession of Mary, Queen of Peace. Amen.
I further consecrate myself, all members of my family and ask the Holy Spirit to fill us. I spread the Blood of Jesus on all above, I cast the devil into hell away from all of us and consecrate all persons, in as far as I am able, to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart.
Prayer for Grace for Election and our Country
Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

December 10, 2023Carrying the Cross
So many sufferings can
come our way, but we can
identify with Jesus carrying
the cross.
Can you even imagine a
little what Jesus went
through?
Love gives for the good of
the other. Mary, our Mother,
teaches us selflessness. How
she must have suffered
during the carrying of the
cross and Jesus’ death and
after the crucifixion.
We can meditate on the
mysteries of the rosary.
Jesus gave His all. No
person ever suffered as
much as Jesus.
Jesus taught us to love.
Jesus loved us so much to
suffer as He did for our sins.
It’s to our advantage to not
know the sufferings in our
entire life to come.
Jesus knew everybody’s
sins and how some would
use their free will given by
God to
rebel against God and hurt
others.
Jesus told Fr. Carter to start
these prayer chapters,
praying for the priests, the
Church and the world.
Pray with us the prayers
Jesus gave Fr. Carter for
the renewal of the Church
and the world.
Help us spread the prayers.
We need love. God is love.
We are sinners, we need to
be accountable and
responsible when we sin.
Mary said at Fatima to
repent.
The devil wants souls to be
lost.
We need to pray.
With love in the Hearts of
Jesus and Mary Amen
God is with us.
Truly present in the Eucharist.
Amen.
Jesus’ body was beaten for
our sins. He gave His Blood.
His flesh was torn, Jesus
didn’t give in, He fell 3 times
under the weight of the cross.
Jesus’ anguish was so great,
He sweat blood in the Garden.
Jesus gave the last beat of
His Heart, the last drop of
His blood.
Jesus loved.
Jesus did not hold back.
Through His pierced Heart,
the Church was born, what
flowed out was blood and
water: water for baptism,
Blood for the Eucharist.John 19: 31-37
The pierced Christ
It was the Day of Preparation, and to avoid the bodies’ remaining on the cross during the Sabbath—since that Sabbath was a day of special solemnity—the Jews asked Pilate to have the legs broken and the bodies taken away. Consequently the soldiers came and broke the legs of the first man who had been crucified with him and then of the other. When they came to Jesus, they saw he was already dead, and so instead of breaking his legs one of the soldiers pierced his side with a lance; and immediately there came out blood and water. This is the evidence of one who saw it—true evidence, and he knows that what he says is true—and he gives it so that you may believe as well. Because all this happened to fulfil the words of scripture:
Not one bone of his will be broken;
and again, in another place scripture says:
They will look to the one
whom they have pierced.
R. You have a free will to
obey and love God.
What you do to others,
you do to Jesus.
God gives us a free will,
how awful to use it to hurt
others,
if you have anger in your
heart and want to hurt
others.
Dear Jesus, I place these
struggles at the foot of Your
cross.
I offer up everything today
united to the Mass,
I spread the Blood of Jesus
Cast the devil into hell
Ask for a special coming of
the Holy Spirit
and consecrate all hearts to
the Hearts of Jesus and Mary.
Amen.
Saint Michael help us, free
us from all evil.
We ask for protection from
the snares of the devil.
Amen.
Give us the grace we need
most, Oh Lord.
We thank You for all Your
gifts to us.
Come Holy Spirit and
enlighten us, help us to
know the Father’s will.
Dear Father we ask this in
the name of Jesus.
Dear Father hear our prayer.
Help us to be molded more
and more in the image of
God.
Holy Spirit, fill us.
We give our hearts to the
Hearts of Jesus and Mary.
We love You: God, Father,
Son, and Holy Spirit.
Please dwell abundantly in
our graced, baptized soul.
Jesus is our model.
The Father said: “This is My
beloved Son in whom I am
well pleased, listen to Him.”
Jesus is the way, the truth
and the life.
Love is forgiving.
Love is being humble.
Love tells the truth.
Love is a peacemaker.
Matthew 22: 36-40
‘Master, which is the greatest commandment of the Law?’ Jesus said to him, ‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment. The second resembles it: You must love your neighbour as yourself. On these two commandments hang the whole Law, and the Prophets too.’
R. Whatever we do to others, we do to
Jesus.
God is the Almighty God.
God must be first.
Glorious Mysteries
The Resurrection
1. Philippians 2:5-8
Make your own the mind of Christ Jesus:
Who, being in the form of God,
did not count equality with God
something to be grasped. But he emptied himself,
taking the form of a slave,
becoming as human beings are;
and being in every way
like a human being,
he was humbler yet,
even to accepting death,
death on a cross.
2. Hebrews 1:1-2
At many moments in the past and by many means, God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets; but in our time, the final days, he has spoken to us in the person of his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things and through whom he made the ages.
3. Jesus rose from
the dead.
4. The Pascal Mystery: Death /
Resurrection.
5. Christ came, then, for a
double purpose, or rather,
for a single purpose with
two facets.
6. He was radically to
release us from the
dominion of sin, and to
elevate us to a new level
of existence.
7. Christ gave us the Church,
the sacraments, the priest.
8. In baptism, we receive a
sharing in His life.
9. In baptism, we receive the
supernatural virtues of
faith, hope, and love.
10. Because of baptism, the
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
dwell in the graced baptized,
soul.
The Ascension
1. Luke 24:50-53
Then he took them out as far as the outskirts of Bethany, and raising his hands he blessed them. Now as he blessed them, he withdrew from them and was carried up to heaven. They worshipped him and then went back to Jerusalem full of joy; and they were continually in the Temple praising God.
2. Jesus took them
out near
Bethany and ascended
into heaven.
3. Jesus remains with us in
the Eucharist.
4. We love You our beloved
God: Thank You for loving
us.
5. God the Father created us
to someday go to heaven
forever.
6. God gives us a free will to
serve and love Him.
7. Our free will is a precious
gift of God’s love.
8. We can freely love, God
wants our love.
9. God the Father, perfectly
loves us.
10. Jesus came and showed
us how He perfectly
obeyed His Father’s will.
We are a work in progress,
we need to turn to God and
rely on Him to be more and
more in the image of God.
God is light and in Him is
no darkness.
The Descent of
the Holy Spirit on the Apostles and the Virgin
Mary
1. Acts 2: 1-4
When Pentecost day came round, they had all met together, when suddenly there came from heaven a sound as of a violent wind which filled the entire house in which they were sitting; and there appeared to them tongues as of fire; these separated and came to rest on the head of each of them. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak different languages as the Spirit gave them power to express themselves.
2. The Holy Spirit
came in
the form of a dove; there
appeared on their head
parted tongues of fire.
3. We ask the Holy Spirit to
come to us.
4. Holy Spirit, please give
us Your gifts.
5. Infuse in our intellects:
wisdom, understanding
and knowledge.
6. Sing: Come Holy Ghost
7. Sing: Come Holy Spirit
8. Come to me Lord and
possess my soul.
9. From the Prayer Manual
Holy Spirit Prayer
Come, Holy Spirit, almighty Sanctifier, God of love, who filled the Virgin Mary with grace, who wonderfully changed the hearts of the apostles, who endowed all Your martyrs with miraculous courage, come and sanctify us. Enlighten our minds, strengthen our wills, purify our consciences, rectify our judgment, set our hearts on fire, and preserve us from the misfortunes of resisting Your inspirations. Amen.
10. The Holy Spirit
is the
Spouse of the Virgin Mary.
The Assumption
1. Mary was taken body and
soul into heaven.
2. Mary is our spiritual Mother.
3. Mary is our Model.
4. Mary is Mother of Jesus.

|
Guiding Light homily series — Reflect on the Word — Cycle B The Word leaves an impression on our souls. In my thoughts and reflections are born a more tangible understanding of these eternal concepts presented in the Gospels and the readings. Anyone can read a sentence, but not anyone can absorb it's true meaning. Truth, in this day and age, is almost a matter of opinion or individual entitlement. We believe that Christ's truth is our Roman Catholic Church. We, as priests, champion it's teachings; we are ambassadors for the Pope and Christ to those faces looking at us. We are the light by which our congregation reads to reflect upon real truth and we do it hand in hand. $10 |
Guiding Light homily series — Steadfast to the Son — Cycle A The sunflower is a great example of how we should be steadfastly guided by light. What a powerful thought that this exceptional plant is not stuck in one pose day in and day out, yet adaptable and magnetized to the sun. We feel the same about our Son. Our heads turns to face Christ as each day presents its challenges to find light. We join together like plants in a field and soak up the Son through the pulpit. We are a warm circle of strength using the wind of our breath to carry our priests' words, Christ's words, to new rich soil. $10 |
Guiding Light — Focusing on the Word — Cycle B At times we may feel that our path to Christ is a bit "out of focus". Like the disciples in the Book of Mark, this ordinary life clouds our vision of Christ's Divinity. We may doubt the practicality or possibility of applying His teachings and example to our modern life. Cycle B's homilies are a "guiding light" to help us realize Jesus' Messianic greatness and His promise of better things to come. $10 |
Guiding Light — Feed My Soul — Cycle C In a world rapidly advancing and encouraging personal gain, we are faced with modern problems. There is a challenge to find time in our busy schedules for Sunday Mass or a family meal. We are able to research, shop, bank and even work without hearing one human voice. It is no wonder that we may often feel disconnected and famished at our week's end. In Fr. Joe's third book of homilies from Cycle C, we are reminded of the charity that Christ intended us to show each other. We have a calling to turn the other cheek and be the Good Samaritan to others. We are rewarded with the Father's kingdom and love when we are not worthy. We are not left alone or hungry. $10 |
