Consecration Prayer for Peace
I consecrate Russia and the Ukraine to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
I further consecrate the priests, the Church and the world to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary.
I do this in the name of Jesus in as far as I am able, united to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, praying to the Father, in the Holy Spirit, with all the angels and saints and the souls in purgatory through the powerful intercession of Mary, Queen of Peace. Amen.
I further consecrate myself, all members of my family and ask the Holy Spirit to fill us. I spread the Blood of Jesus on all above, I cast the devil into hell away from all of us and consecrate all persons, in as far as I am able, to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart.
Prayer for Grace for Election and our Country
Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.
Morning Offering
Dear Father,
I offer up all I do all day united to Jesus
in the Mass, in the Holy Spirit, through
the powerful intercession of Mary, our
spiritual Mother, with all the angels and
saints, and the souls in purgatory, for
the priest, the Church, and the world.
We love You God so much.
We thank You and adore You and
petition You for our needs. Amen.

You are Carried by Angels
Jesus: I am your God and I am not far from you ever. You have moved from Me as you become busy. Each day you need to be alone with Me. Just as you eat food, you need to be close to Me or you will have a wanting and longing in your heart.
I am waiting for you to come to Me, each day, and I am always here. Nothing should be more important than this private union with Me. You are very distracted by things I do not want. I want you to spread My work, but I will guide you. I will do My own work; you can go at a slow pace. I will work in you if you let Me. Calm yourself; soak in My presence; be alone with Me in your heart. Let the distractions of this world pass you by; let go.
Sing: Little Child
Jesus: Just stay close to Me and you will know how to act.
The devil wants confusion. I want you calm, present to your children, having fun and private prayer with them. You can do more work this way. Be there for your children – be ready for them; be available - pray with them, pray to Me. Be calm, My child, be calm. Time is short. You spend time with your children - treasure each moment as a special gift you have been given. Savor its quality – do not be busy and not there for them. Be there, talk to them and be close to them. Your job is with them praying to Me, with them and by yourself.
Be calm, My child; soak in My presence. I am
peace. I am love. I work in My peace – it is all easy – no need to fret
and fume and feel tight inside. You aren’t going anywhere any faster for
being all keyed up. You get no more done for walking around keeping
yourself busy. Work is accomplished when you are not busy. There is
always something that ought to be done. You need to focus on Me; write
to Me; take time for Me; be with Me; love Me; make Me the Center of your
Life and all those other things fall into line. You have three jobs: Me,
your children and praying with them. I don’t want you busy, I want you
at peace.
Calm yourself. Calm your heart, soak your heart in a bath of white
clouds, it is soothing, it is restful. My clouds are full of light; My
burden is light. Place your yoke on Me; walk away free, really free.
This is not lip service, it is walking on air. Feel your steps as you
lift yourself up from the valley of darkness. You have transcended into
the air and the light. You travel lightly; you are engulfed in a sea of
peace and you run and not grow weary; you walk and your path is green;
you have no cares as a child who just goes their way and lives in the
moment. The Kingdom of God is within you; soak in My light, My lightness
– let Me fill you with My grace and let yourself go. Let go of drudgery.
Every minute is planned by Me; live it to the fullest. Worry not about
the past or what will come in the future. Place Your Trust In Me. Come
unto Me all who are weary and I will comfort you. Your burdens have been
made light and your love is restored in My sea of love. Let Me fill you;
lift yourself and be carried by the angels and you are anew, full of
light, full of lightness, full of My grace, full of Me. Why do you
worry? Does it add even one second to this life? This life is not why
you are here. You are here to do My work for Me; My work is not busy
work, it is peace and love and joy. It is Trust in He who put you there.
I have put you on this earth to love, honor and obey Me. All else is not
of Me. You honor and love and obey Me when you love those around you and
spread My light. That is your job – being Me to a world in which many
have forgotten Me.
R. I love you Jesus - Love, Rita!!

Our Lady of Sorrows

July 31, 1994Words of Jesus to Members of Shepherds of Christ Associates:
"My beloved priest-companion, I intend to use the priestly newsletter, Shepherds of Christ, and the movement, Shepherds of Christ Associates, in a powerful way for the renewal of My Church and the world.
"I will use the newsletter and the chapters of Shepherds of Christ Associates as a powerful instrument for spreading devotion to My Heart and My Mother's Heart.
"I am calling many to become members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. To all of them I will give great blessings. I will use them as instruments to help bring about the triumph of the Immaculate Heart and the reign of My Sacred Heart. I will give great graces to the members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. I will call them to be deeply united to My Heart and to Mary's Heart as I lead them ever closer to My Father in the Holy Spirit."
- Message from Jesus to Father Edward J. Carter, S.J., Founder, as given on July 31, 1994,
feast of Saint Ignatius Loyola, Founder of the Society of Jesus (The Jesuits)
1 Corinthians 2:10-12
to us, though, God has given revelation through the Spirit, for the Spirit explores the depths of everything, even the depths of God. After all, is there anyone who knows the qualities of anyone except his own spirit, within him; and in the same way, nobody knows the qualities of God except the Spirit of God. Now, the Spirit we have received is not the spirit of the world but God's own Spirit, so that we may understand the lavish gifts God has given us.
R. The Spirit perfectly understands the life of
God and our participation in this divine
existence, our life of grace. The Spirit’s
design is to develop this life within us, to
more and more form in us, the likeness of
Jesus.
The Holy Spirit works in co-operation with
Mary, our spiritual Mother.
John 19:25-27Near the cross of Jesus stood his mother and his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary of Magdala. Seeing his mother and the disciple whom he loved standing near her, Jesus said to his mother, 'Woman, this is your son.' Then to the disciple he said, 'This is your mother.' And from that hour the disciple took her into his home.
R. Fr. Carter further says: "the Holy Spirit, then,
in listing the cooperation of Mary, our
Mother, leads us in and through Christ to
the Father."
We must be open to the Spirit.
We live the life, death and resurrection of
Christ in our lives. We live the mystery of
Christ in our life.
These especially are the mysteries of death /
resurrection.
We die to our self-will more and more to
live according to the Father‘s well in Love.
1 Corinthians 1:17After all, Christ sent me not to baptise, but to preach the gospel; and not by means of wisdom of language, wise words which would make the cross of Christ pointless.
Matthew 7:21'It is not anyone who says to me, "Lord, Lord," who will enter the kingdom of Heaven, but the person who does the will of my Father in heaven.
R. Loving conformity to the Father’s will is the
central issue of the spiritual life.
The proud person alienates himself more and
more from God.
The humble person knows his creature hood
and puts God first.
They focus on living according to the Father’s
will in love!!!
John 14:27Peace I bequeath to you, my own peace I give you, a peace which the world cannot give, this is my gift to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid.
R. We have joy and suffering and even extreme
suffering does not destroy our spiritual peace.
This peace of spirit even in suffering leads us
to correctly discerning the Father’s will for us.
Likewise we must have freedom of spirit, that
is, only want what God wants for us. (not our
own attachment to our agenda).

From Tell My People by Fr. Edward J. Carter, S.J.
The Holy Spirit
Jesus: "My beloved friend, tell My people to pray daily to the Holy Spirit. They are to pray for an increase in His gifts. My people must realize that the Holy Spirit comes to transform them. The Spirit desires to transform you more and more according to My image. Those who are docile to His touch become increasingly shaped in My likeness. He performs this marvel within Mary's Immaculate Heart. The more one dwells in My Mother's Heart, the more active are the workings of the Spirit. The Spirit leads Mary to place you within My own Heart. In both Our Hearts, then, your transformation continues. The more you are formed after My own Heart, the more I lead you to the bosom of My Father. Tell My people all this. Tell them to pray daily for a greater appreciation of these wondrous gifts. I am Lord and Master. All who come to My Heart will be on fire to receive the gifts of the Spirit in ever greater measure! I love and bless My people!"
Reflection: The Holy Spirit is given to us to fashion us ever more according to the likeness of Jesus. And the more we are like Jesus, the more Jesus leads us to the Father. Do we, each day, pray to the Holy Spirit to be more open to His transforming influence? Do we strive each day to grow in union with Mary? The greater our union with our Mother, the spouse of the Holy Spirit, the greater is the transforming action of the Holy Spirit within us.
Prayer: Come, Holy Spirit, fill us with your gifts of wisdom, understanding, knowledge, counsel, fortitude, piety, and fear of the Lord. As we dwell in the Heart of Mary, Your spouse, fashion us more and more according to the Heart of Jesus.

Matthew 12:46-50He was still speaking to the crowds when suddenly his mother and his brothers were standing outside and were anxious to have a word with him. Someone said to him: Your mother and brothers are standing outside and want to speak to you. But to the man who told him this Jesus replied, 'Who is my mother? Who are my brothers?' And stretching out his hand towards his disciples he said, 'Here are my mother and my brothers. Anyone who does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.'
R. Jesus refers to Mary at the foot of the
cross as “Woman”.
R. Mary is the New Eve
Jesus, the New Adam
Remember Pentecost
The disciples were with Mary.
In the upper room, they were praying with
Mary.
Mary has powerful intercession.
In Lucia’s vision Mary stands by the altar -
hand to her Immaculate Heart.
At Mass we pray as we dwell in Mary’s
Immaculate Heart, that our sacrifice is -
more pure.
Mary, Mary - teach us to pray!!!
Jesus was your little boy-
You know the way!!!
R. Mary said "Do whatever He tells you."
The Father said at the Transfiguration
"…Listen to Him."
Mary said: “the Mighty One has done great
things for me, and holy is His name.”John 15: 9-12
I have loved you just as the Father has loved me. Remain in my love. If you keep my commandments you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and remain in his love. I have told you this so that my own joy may be in you and your joy be complete. This is my commandment: love one another, as I have loved you.
R. Keep His commandments!!!!
John 17
God wants us one.
Mary was at the wedding feast.
Mary is by the altar.
Mary was at the foot of the cross.
We believe Jesus appeared to His Mother
after the Resurrection from the tomb.
John 14: 25-27I have said these things to you while still with you; but the Paraclete, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything and remind you of all I have said to you. Peace I bequeath to you, my own peace I give you, a peace which the world cannot give, this is my gift to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid.

R. Let us see Jesus, He came a little child
to teach us that we need to approach our
Father as a little humble obedient child.
Do you imagine Mary looking down at
precious baby Jesus in the stable, Jesus,
the Son of God, our Savior?
We owe God our love, our thanksgiving,
our homage.
God is the great "I am." Do we see ourselves
in our proper place? We are creatures of
God the Father, our Creator.
God knows all things, the very hairs of our
head are numbered.
Oh Come let us adore Him... Christ, the Lord.
We were created to know, love and serve God
and thereby attain our eternal salvation.
The first gift of Christmas is the Christ-child.
We offer gifts at Christmas to those we love.
Jesus is love, the perfect pure gift of love,
at Christmas, is Jesus, our Savior.
Are we worthy of such a gift?John 3:16
For this is how God loved the world:
he gave his only Son,
so that everyone who believes in him
may not perish
but may have eternal life.
R. If God gives Himself, so generously to us, we
should want to give Him ourselves, holding
nothing back.
R. God gave us Mary, the highest human creature.
Mary is pure gift, given from God, to bare the
Christ-child, Jesus, the Son of God, our Savior.
Mary is the Spouse of the Holy Spirit.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with Thee,
blessed are you among woman…Luke 1:29
She was deeply disturbed by these words and asked herself what this greeting could mean,
Luke 1:38Mary said, 'You see before you the Lord's servant, let it happen to me as you have said.' And the angel left her.
R. Mary loved the Father’s will.
“The Word was made flesh, and dwelt amongst
us.” John 1:15
February 29, 2004
March 1, 2004
Jesus: My Mother loved the Father’s will.
Adam and Eve were given great gifts and
they rebelled against God.
Mary is the New Eve and I am the New
Adam.
You have a free will!
I have put before you:
Life and death, a blessing or a curse.
R. We see that Jesus showed us He was crucified
between a Good Thief and a Bad Thief.
Remember the 10 Virgins: 5 were wise
5 were foolish.
Fr. Carter would do his examine twice a
day for 10 minutes.
In this 10 minutes he meditated on God’s will
and how he was living in his life doing
God’s will or not as he should.
If he was off he would pray for grace to
change the direction he was going in to do
God’s will in love.
R. Mary is sinless.
Mary is the one human person not marred
by Adam’s sin.
Mary is the Immaculate Conception.
Mary is the most perfect handmaid of the
Lord.
God gave us Mary, the highest human creature.
Mary is pure gift, given from God, to bare the
Christ-child, Jesus, the Son of God, our Savior.
Mary is the Spouse of the Holy Spirit.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with Thee.
blessed are you among woman…Luke 1:29
She was deeply disturbed by these words and asked herself what this greeting could mean,
Luke 1:38Mary said, 'You see before you the Lord's servant, let it happen to me as you have said.' And the angel left her.
R. Mary loved the Father’s will.
“The Word was made flesh, and dwelt amongst
us.” John 1:15Jesus help me I unite all my sufferings and
joys to You, help me, my love for You is
more than anything I can even express.
Sweet God, I love You so much.
Help me, my God, I offer this up for all my
intentions united to the Mass.
Oh Jesus, help me my best friend, help me
please my God.
I love You Rita.
I offer this up to You.
I love and adore You my God, help me God.
God is always there.
I see the moon, I watch every day a new
day and I see the sky.
I watch little beautiful babies come after
months of pregnancy.
I love the Mass, the Church, the sacraments,
the priest.
Thank You God for all Your gifts to me life
long.
Oh God You tend to the details of our lives,
but You teach us lessons to grow more holy,
loving.
Oh God You open doors to us all day in people
and opportunities we never even know.
Oh God thank You for all these writings, for
Mary appearing, for so much love from
others in my life.
Oh God help me now, I love You so much
and I am dependent on You, fill me God
with Your truth and Your love.
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place my heart
in Yours.
I love You so much.
Amen.God is light and in Him is no darkness.
God as Creator, created us in the image and
likeness of God.
God the Father has a design.
God the Father has a purpose for man to rid
Himself of unwanted tendencies. (inordinate
attachments)
God is transcendent.
God is Almighty.
God created an orderly, harmonious world.
All man does, first principle and foundation,
St. Ignatius says: is for the honor and glory
of God.
Man is creature, his place is under the Creator.
To the degree he works in alignment with the
Creator he will have order and harmony with
God.
Adam and Eve sinned and chaos, confusion,
sin, disease, disruption of the elements,
fighting of animals, death, entered the world
with the sin of Adam and Eve.
God created an orderly, harmonious world
and Adam and Eve sinned, with this the
disorder listed above entered the world.
Baptism takes away original sin, but man
still has a wounded human nature and
tendencies to the deadly sins.
The deadly sins are bad habits: pride, anger,
slothfulness, jealousy, envy,
lust and gluttony.
In Baptism we receive the supernatural
virtues of faith, hope and love.
In Baptism our knowing and loving
capacity is elevated.
We live the Christ-life.
We live life in the Holy Spirit (or we should).
Mary is Mother at our side.
When we recognize our creature hood and
God as Creator we are living in reality. We
are in the right place! God must be first,
the first commandment tells us.
In writing the Blue Books, God has taught
us to know the truth, to know the over
whelming love of God for us and His desire
for us to have celestial bliss and be with
Him eternally in heaven.
But man must co-operate with God.
His will is to live the Father’s will in love.
The will is the wild card in man.
Fr. Carter would stop twice a day for
10 minutes and do what is called the examine.
Like taking your spiritual temperature, to
see if you are living the Father’s will in love -
and if you are off, pray and work to get
back to aligning your will to God’s will.
The devil wants men to live in rebellion
to God’s will.
The devil wants man to put himself above
God’s plan.
What a mess. What a life of trouble -
arm wrestling God.
The devil is real. The devil wants to rule.
The devil never gives up tempting men if
he can get away with it.
In the Our Father (Jesus taught us to pray)
it says "thy will be done on earth, as it is
in heaven".
And "lead us not into temptation, but deliver
us from evil".
There is only one will in heaven…God’s will.
The devil tries to tempt us.
Jesus taught us to pray thus:
“Lead us not into temptation, but deliver
us from evil”
Is our life a life of being a creature under
our Father, the Creator
.. or are we working, like Eve,
opposing God’s commandments, God’s will?
God is all powerful, the Alpha and Omega,
the Almighty, the Omnipotent,… God is
Supreme, God is Divine.
Satan tries to tempt men to think they can
rule over God.
When we stay united in our heart with Jesus,
even in the gravest suffering, God is there
n the suffering.
Jesus showed us His infinite love and that
He died doing the Father’s will. That is powerful.
There was a thief on each side of Jesus when
He was crucified.
There are 2 roads
There were 10 virgins - 5 foolish, 5 wise…
Judas betrayed Jesus with a kiss.
The scripture says
I have put before you life or death…Life is in Him…
Matthew 7:21
'It is not anyone who says to me, "Lord, Lord," who will enter the kingdom of Heaven, but the person who does the will of my Father in heaven.
R. Those not doing God’s will He calls fools.Matthew 12:46-50
He was still speaking to the crowds when suddenly his mother and his brothers were standing outside and were anxious to have a word with him.
R. Why would anyone live a life of putting
themselves in rebellion to God’s Plan?
Oh Jesus:
Your Word is perfect refreshing the soul.
Everything You want of us is Just!!!!
Merry Christmas

love.
I worship You and love You -

that of purity in pleasing the Heavenly
Father, in my offering united to Jesus in
the Mass.
Dear Holy Spirit please help me in the gift
of piety to do that which pleases my Heavenly
Father with the tenderness as His little child.
Thank you God for all You give to me.
I pray this "All for the honor and Glory of
God". Amen.
Matthew 22: 36-40
'Master, which is the greatest commandment of the Law?' Jesus said to him, 'You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment. The second resembles it: You must love your neighbour as yourself. On these two commandments hang the whole Law, and the Prophets too.'
Dear Holy Spirit, strengthen our will and
move like a Divine breath in our soul, to
be docile sons and daughters of our
Heavenly Father. Amen.
Alleluia.

The Baptism of Jesus
Jesus is baptised
Now it happened that when all the people had been baptised and while Jesus after his own baptism was at prayer, heaven opened and the Holy Spirit descended on him in a physical form, like a dove. And a voice came from heaven, ‘You are my Son; today have I fathered you.’
When he began, Jesus was about thirty years old, being the son, as it was thought, of Joseph son of Heli,

The Marriage at Cana
1.
John
2: 1-10
On the third day there was a wedding at Cana in Galilee. The mother of Jesus was there, and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited. And they ran out of wine, since the wine provided for the feast had all been used, and the mother of Jesus said to him, ‘They have no wine.’ Jesus said, ‘Woman, what do you want from me? My hour has not come yet.’ His mother said to the servants, ‘Do whatever he tells you.’ There were six stone water jars standing there, meant for the ablutions that are customary among the Jews: each could hold twenty or thirty gallons. Jesus said to the servants, ‘Fill the jars with water,’ and they filled them to the brim. Then he said to them, ‘Draw some out now and take it to the president of the feast.’ They did this; the president tasted the water, and it had turned into wine. Having no idea where it came from—though the servants who had drawn the water knew—the president of the feast called the bridegroom and said, ‘Everyone serves good wine first and the worse wine when the guests are well wined; but you have kept the best wine till now.’

The Transfiguration
1.
Matthew 17: 1-9
Six days later, Jesus took with him Peter and James and his brother John and led them up a high mountain by themselves. There in their presence he was transfigured: his face shone like the sun and his clothes became as dazzling as light. And suddenly Moses and Elijah appeared to them; they were talking with him. Then Peter spoke to Jesus. ‘Lord,’ he said, ‘it is wonderful for us to be here; if you want me to, I will make three shelters here, one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.’ He was still speaking when suddenly a bright cloud covered them with shadow, and suddenly from the cloud there came a voice which said, ‘This is my Son, the Beloved; he enjoys my favour. Listen to him.’ When they heard this, the disciples fell on their faces, overcome with fear. But Jesus came up and touched them, saying, ‘Stand up, do not be afraid.’ And when they raised their eyes they saw no one but Jesus.
As they came down from the mountain Jesus gave them this order, ‘Tell no one about this vision until the Son of man has risen from the dead.’

The Institution of the Eucharist
1.
Matthew 26: 26-29
Now as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had said the blessing he broke it and gave it to the disciples. ‘Take it and eat,’ he said, ‘this is my body.’ Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he handed it to them saying, ‘Drink from this, all of you, for this is my blood, the blood of the covenant, poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. From now on, I tell you, I shall never again drink wine until the day I drink the new wine with you in the kingdom of my Father.’
2. Prayer Before the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass
Let me be a holy sacrifice and unite with God in the sacrament of His greatest love.
I want to be one in Him in this act of love, where He gives Himself to me and I give myself as a sacrifice to Him. Let me be a holy sacrifice as I become one with Him in this my act of greatest love to Him.
Let me unite with Him more, that I may more deeply love Him. May I help make reparation to His adorable Heart and the heart of His Mother, Mary. With greatest love, I offer myself to You and pray that You will accept my sacrifice of greatest love. I give myself to You and unite in Your gift of Yourself to me. Come and possess my soul.
Cleanse me, strengthen me, heal me. Dear Holy Spirit act in the heart of Mary to make me more and more like Jesus.
Father, I offer this my sacrifice, myself united to Jesus in the Holy Spirit to You. Help me to love God more deeply in this act of my greatest love.
Give me the grace to grow in my knowledge, love and service of You and for this to be my greatest participation in the Mass. Give me the greatest graces to love You so deeply in this Mass, You who are so worthy of my love.
-Mass Book, December 27, 1995

A Prayer for Holy CommunionR. As I give more and more of what I am attached to away, nobody can have a hold on me. I become, more and more, the little dependent baby in His arms. I depend on Him for everything. It is hard to let go of this to be as a little baby, dependent on Him for everything.
If, when I receive Jesus, I receive God, then so, in some form, I receive the Father and Holy Spirit because how do you separate them?
And the doors to the tabernacle open wide and in it we behold Jesus, Son of God, God-made-man. His presence is to be honored, His name worshiped and adored. His glory is forever.
Jesus: I come as a little baby into your midst. I died out of love of you. I come to you today in Holy Communion. This is God-made-man, Son of God, coming in your hearts to dwell with you. Do not focus on your unworthiness. Focus on His love, just for you, to come to you today. I love you so much and God is truly in your mouth. Be close to Me. Let go of yourself. Enter into total union with Me, soul to soul. Be united with Me totally in your spirit. Forget all the cares of this world and let Me dwell in you and work in your heart. Let Me heal your weary soul.
Open wide your gates and I enter in and you remain changed, never the same because Jesus Christ, Son of God, came to you and dwelt in your soul. You are My temple.
9. Come to me Lord and possess my soul.
10. Amen! Amen!
You are given the commandments! Obey them!

Guiding Light homily series — Reflect on the Word — Cycle B The Word leaves an impression on our souls. In my thoughts and reflections are born a more tangible understanding of these eternal concepts presented in the Gospels and the readings. Anyone can read a sentence, but not anyone can absorb it's true meaning. Truth, in this day and age, is almost a matter of opinion or individual entitlement. We believe that Christ's truth is our Roman Catholic Church. We, as priests, champion it's teachings; we are ambassadors for the Pope and Christ to those faces looking at us. We are the light by which our congregation reads to reflect upon real truth and we do it hand in hand. $10 |
Guiding Light homily series — Steadfast to the Son — Cycle A The sunflower is a great example of how we should be steadfastly guided by light. What a powerful thought that this exceptional plant is not stuck in one pose day in and day out, yet adaptable and magnetized to the sun. We feel the same about our Son. Our heads turns to face Christ as each day presents its challenges to find light. We join together like plants in a field and soak up the Son through the pulpit. We are a warm circle of strength using the wind of our breath to carry our priests' words, Christ's words, to new rich soil. $10 |
Guiding Light — Focusing on the Word — Cycle B At times we may feel that our path to Christ is a bit "out of focus". Like the disciples in the Book of Mark, this ordinary life clouds our vision of Christ's Divinity. We may doubt the practicality or possibility of applying His teachings and example to our modern life. Cycle B's homilies are a "guiding light" to help us realize Jesus' Messianic greatness and His promise of better things to come. $10 |
Guiding Light — Feed My Soul — Cycle C In a world rapidly advancing and encouraging personal gain, we are faced with modern problems. There is a challenge to find time in our busy schedules for Sunday Mass or a family meal. We are able to research, shop, bank and even work without hearing one human voice. It is no wonder that we may often feel disconnected and famished at our week's end. In Fr. Joe's third book of homilies from Cycle C, we are reminded of the charity that Christ intended us to show each other. We have a calling to turn the other cheek and be the Good Samaritan to others. We are rewarded with the Father's kingdom and love when we are not worthy. We are not left alone or hungry. $10 |
