The Novena Rosary
Mysteries |
Pray for Bob & special intentions.
Consecration Prayer for Peace
I consecrate Russia and the Ukraine to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
I further consecrate the priests, the Church and the world to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary.
I do this in the name of Jesus in as far as I am able, united to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, praying to the Father, in the Holy Spirit, with all the angels and saints and the souls in purgatory through the powerful intercession of Mary, Queen of Peace. Amen.
I further consecrate myself, all members of my family and ask the Holy Spirit to fill us. I spread the Blood of Jesus on all above, I cast the devil into hell away from all of us and consecrate all persons, in as far as I am able, to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart.
Prayer for Grace for Election and our Country
Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

God the Father - Christmas
Eve
I created you to go home to
heaven, to live in love
forever in purity.
Your life on earth is to live
to be Christ-like, to be
molded in the image and
likeness of Jesus.
You were created to grow
in purity and love.
Mary is your model perfect
handmaid of Jesus.
Jesus showed you the way.
John 3:16
For this is how God loved the world:
he gave his only Son,
so that everyone who believes in him
may not perish
but may have eternal life.
Mary:
Those who are docile listen
in love to God the Father who
is Creator of the creatures.
Those in pride tell themselves
they are never wrong.
Sheep surrounded my Son
in the stable.
The sheep follow the Good
Shepherd.
They hear His voice and
follow Him.
Jesus laid down His life
for the sheep.
Mary: I am Mary your spiritual Mother.
December 24, 2023 - Christmas Eve
Jesus:
God is the eternal God!!
God: without a beginning,
without an end.
God does not deceive, nor
can He be deceived.
The vision of My Father is a
vast vision.
Some decide and plot and use
their free will for sin, jealousy,
pride, envy, slothfulness,
anger, lust and gluttony.
The vision of the Father is for
the salvation of the precious
souls He created.
The scripture in John 14 says
the truth will be in you.
How can this be when a man
uses his free will given by God
to love and serve Him, for sin
that offends God and refuses to
even try to convert and be as I
taught you, the son of your
Father, well pleasing to Him
who has a plan for you and
created you to follow this plan,
living in love, according to the
Father’s will as I showed you.
Holiness in the interior life is
what makes a man great.
Living in holiness as a
servant or handmaid of God.
A man with a clogged heart
needs it to be unclogged.
A person with cancer in their
body can try to remove it.
Cancer can rapidly grow and
make the body fail.
What does bad habits, life-
long of envy, jealousy, anger,
pride, do to the heart and soul?
They act like a cancer or
leprosy that takes over.
Why for a few years here when
compared to eternity?
The prodigal son returned and
was forgiven by his heavenly
Father.
Some here today refuse the
truth about their sin and won’t
budge.
I am the Son of God in whom
The Father is well pleased.
At Fatima Mary, your Mother,
told you, you
must repent and seek
conversion.
I come a thief in the night,
you have a life time to know,
love and serve God.
The life you have been given
is a precious gift, like the 10
lepers that were healed, only
one returned to thank God
for the healing.
Leprosy of the soul, stubborn
in sin and I shed by blood for
them and some won’t budge
from their sin.
I am Jesus, the Son of God,
light of the world.
R. When my day is gone, I
cannot return to do that day
again, it is gone forever.
This is My gift to you.
R. Jesus bowed His Sacred Head
and died on the cross for our
sins.
R. He was so humble born a little
baby in a stable, the Son of
God.Song: I am a God of Justice
R. The Good Shepherd laid down
His life for His sheep.
He obeyed the Father’s will to
His death on the cross.
What you sow, so shall you
reap.
R. God is eternal.
The 'I Am', without a
beginning, without an end.
He does not deceive, nor
can He be deceived.
Life is in Him.
Jesus is King over heaven
and earth.
We live to know, love and
serve Him, in this we live
in joy.
The world belongs to Christ.
Christians should feel at
home in the world of Jesus.
Christ reigns over all creation.
Through Jesus’ resurrection
and ascension, the Father
has thus exalted His Son.
St. Paul tells us about this
“He has put all things under
Christ’s feet and has made
him, thus exalted, head of
the Church, which is his
body: the fullness of him
who fills the universe in
all its parts.”
The world belongs to Christ.
It has a Christic image!
Man’s world is crippled by
many evils. God helps man
make the world a better place.
Jesus prayed for unity.John 17: 20-22
I pray not only for these but also for those who through their teaching will come to believe in me. May they all be one, just as, Father, you are in me and I am in you, so that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe it was you who sent me. I have given them the glory you gave to me, that they may be one as we are one.
R. God created man to live as a
social creature.
We must make the Church
what it is to be.
R. If all must contribute, why
envy others?
Our love and unity are marred
by failings.
R. Do we remain closed to the
Spirit out of fear?
To refuse the Spirit is to refuse
real happiness.
God travels with us along
Life’s path.
Give me your Heart, oh Jesus.
God blesses us in the priest.
Jesus:
I am the way, the truth and the life.
R. Come let us bend low and
worship and honor our God,
Let us live obediently to God.
R. God is light
and in Him is no darkness.
Jesus speaks of peace: "‘Peace’
is my farewell to you, my peace
is my gift to you."
Mary: I stood beneath the cross
of Jesus and I cried for my
little ones who would be lost.
In Florida
Our life of ongoing conversion – our life of holiness – profits greatly from frequent confession, Father Carter says. Mary invites us to go to confession, at least once a month. Through frequent confession, we become more sensitive regarding the ways we have offended God. We receive strength to work against those feelings which hinder our growth in Christ. We should make our confessions in peace, and through them, be led to ever greater peace, Fr. Carter said.
Christmas Eve - December 24, 2023
Joyful Mysteries
The Annunciation
1. Luke 1: 26-38In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a town in Galilee called Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man named Joseph, of the House of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary. He went in and said to her, ‘Rejoice, you who enjoy God’s favour! The Lord is with you.’ She was deeply disturbed by these words and asked herself what this greeting could mean, but the angel said to her, ‘Mary, do not be afraid; you have won God’s favour. Look! You are to conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you must name him Jesus. He will be great and will be called Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his ancestor David; he will rule over the House of Jacob for ever and his reign will have no end.’ Mary said to the angel, ‘But how can this come about, since I have no knowledge of man?’ The angel answered, ‘The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will cover you with its shadow. And so the child will be holy and will be called Son of God. And I tell you this too: your cousin Elizabeth also, in her old age, has conceived a son, and she whom people called barren is now in her sixth month, for nothing is impossible to God.’ Mary said, ‘You see before you the Lord’s servant, let it happen to me as you have said.’ And the angel left her.
2. To Mary, the Immaculate
Heart, who leads us to the
Heart of Jesus.
3. Mary is truly the Mother
of Jesus, she truly is the
Mother of God.
4. Mary cooperated with
Jesus in His redemptive
effort.
5. Throughout much of the
time she was physically
present to Him.
6. At those times when she
was not at His side, she
was united with Him
through a profound,
spiritual union.
7. She was totally dedicated
to Him and His cause.
8. She was His first and
perfect disciple.
9. She loved Him with a
devotion and an intensity
beyond our full
comprehension.
10. All of Mary's other God-
given gifts flow from her
divine Motherhood - from
the fact that she is the Mother
of Jesus.
The Visitation
1. Luke 1: 39-45Mary set out at that time and went as quickly as she could into the hill country to a town in Judah. She went into Zechariah’s house and greeted Elizabeth. Now it happened that as soon as Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the child leapt in her womb and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. She gave a loud cry and said, ‘Of all women you are the most blessed, and blessed is the fruit of your womb. Why should I be honoured with a visit from the mother of my Lord? Look, the moment your greeting reached my ears, the child in my womb leapt for joy. Yes, blessed is she who believed that the promise made her by the Lord would be fulfilled.’
2. Mary is our spiritual Mother.
3. My soul, that magnifies the
Lord in my spirit, rejoices
in God, my savior.
4. We go to Mary's Immaculate
Heart - her spiritual womb.
5. Christ was brought forth
from the womb of the Virgin
Mary through the power of
the Holy Spirit - Christ the
first fruits.
5. 1 Corinthians 15:20-24In fact, however, Christ has been raised from the dead, as the first-fruits of all who have fallen asleep. As it was by one man that death came, so through one man has come the resurrection of the dead. Just as all die in Adam, so in Christ all will be brought to life; but all of them in their proper order: Christ the first-fruits, and next, at his coming, those who belong to him. After that will come the end, when he will hand over the kingdom to God the Father, having abolished every principality, every ruling force and power.
6. Elizabeth was considered
barren in her old age, but
she brought forth the child,
John, who, prepared a way
for Jesus.
7. We are the shepherds that
are keeping a night watch
over the flock.
8. Jesus is the light of the
world.
9. Jesus says: I am the way,
the truth, and the life.
10. This came from Blue Book 18 p. 184Jesus: There will be one flock, and one shepherd and my staff will rule over all. Hearts consecrated to our hearts will lead the light across the Earth. The light will be a light of intense brightness, brighter, and hotter than any light from a flame. It will be the fire of God's love. The Spirit will move in the hearts of all consecrated to My Heart, and you will know how fire truly spreads, for the love of God is a fire. It is vibrant. It is encompassing. It is smoldering, burning, deep within and speeding spreading on the outside. No fire on this earth can ever describe the burning embers that burn from the Sacred Heart of Jesus. No fire burns like the fires coming from My Heart and hearts filled with the love from the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
The Birth of Jesus
1. Luke 2:1-7Now it happened that at this time Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be made of the whole inhabited world. This census—the first—took place while Quirinius was governor of Syria, and everyone went to be registered, each to his own town. So Joseph set out from the town of Nazareth in Galilee for Judaea, to David’s town called Bethlehem, since he was of David’s House and line, in order to be registered together with Mary, his betrothed, who was with child. Now it happened that, while they were there, the time came for her to have her child, and she gave birth to a son, her first–born. She wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid him in a manger because there was no room for them in the living–space.
2. Jesus came and took flesh
and lived and died for our
sins, because He loves us
so much.
3. The devil tempted Eve in
the Garden and she and
Adam sinned.
4. Mary is sinless, Mary is
the New Eve.
5. Jesus is God, second
Person of the Holy Trinity,
Jesus is the New Adam.
6. We have original sin,
baptism takes away original
sin.
7. Jesus came to give us life.
In Baptism we receive a
sharing in His life.
8. Think of all God has given
us in love.
What return have we given
to the Most beautiful Jesus,
Our Savior.
9. God is a God of miracles.
He shows us His miracles.
10. Jesus showed us suffering,
why would we think we
would not have suffering
in our lives?
The Presentation in the Temple
1. Luke 2:35
and a sword will pierce your soul too -- so that the secret thoughts of many may be laid bare.'
2. Romans 6:3-4You cannot have forgotten that all of us, when we were baptised into Christ Jesus, were baptised into his death. So by our baptism into his death we were buried with him, so that as Christ was raised from the dead by the Father's glorious power, we too should begin living a new life.
3. The theme of death - resurrection is at the heart of salvation history.
4. Luke 24:25-26
Then he said to them, 'You foolish men! So slow to believe all that the prophets have said! Was it not necessary that the Christ should suffer before entering into his glory?'
5. The great tragedy regarding human suffering is not that there is so much of it, but so much is wasted.
6. Sing: Little Baby Hands and Feet
7. Mary suffered.
8. During the summer of 1916, the angel again appeared to the three visionaries. He said to them:
Pray! Pray a great deal. The Hearts of Jesus and Mary have merciful designs on you. Offer prayers and sacrifices continually to the Most High.
9. Fatima continues
Make everything you do a sacrifice, and offer it as an act of reparation for the sins by which God is offended, and as a petition for the conversion of sinners. Bring peace to our country in this way.... I am the Guardian Angel of Portugal Accept and bear with submission all the sufferings the Lord will send you. (4)
4. Our Lady's Peace Plan, op cit., pp.1-2.
10. Luke 9: 23-25
Then, speaking to all, he said, 'If anyone wants to be a follower of mine, let him renounce himself and take up his cross every day and follow me. Anyone who wants to save his life will lose it; but anyone who loses his life for my sake, will save it. What benefit is it to anyone to win the whole world and forfeit or lose his very self?
The Finding in the Temple
1. Luke 2:48-50They were overcome when they saw him, and his mother said to him, 'My child, why have you done this to us? See how worried your father and I have been, looking for you.' He replied, 'Why were you looking for me? Did you not know that I must be in my Father's house?' But they did not understand what he meant.
2. Shepherds of Christ Priestly Newsletter 2000 Issue 3
The Father's Will for Us - Our Source of Peace
Pope John Paul II instructs us: "The Church, as a reconciled and reconciling community, cannot forget that at the source of her gift and mission of reconciliation is the initiative, full of compassionate love and mercy, of that God who is love (see 1 John 4:8) and who out of love created human beings (see Wisdom 11:23-26; Genesis 1:27: Psalms 8:4-8)…He created them so that they might live in friendship with Him and in communion with one another.
"God is faithful to His eternal plan even when man, under the impulse of the evil one (see Wisdom 2:24) and carried away by his own pride, abuses the freedom given to him in order to love and generously seek what is good, and (instead) refuses to obey his Lord and Father. God is faithful even when man, instead of responding with love to God’s love, opposes Him and treats Him like a rival, deluding himself and relying on his own power, with the resulting break of relationship with the One who created him. In spite of this transgression on man’s part, God remains faithful in love.
"It is certainly true that the story of the Garden of Eden makes us think about the tragic consequences of rejecting the Father, which becomes evident in man’s inner disorder and in the breakdown of harmony between man and woman, brother and brother (see Genesis 3:12 ff; 4:1-16). Also significant is the Gospel parable of the two brothers (the parable of the ‘prodigal son’; see Luke 15:11-32) who, in different ways, distance themselves from their father and cause a rift between them. Refusal of God’s fatherly love and of His loving gifts is always at the root of humanity’s divisions.
"But we know that God…like the father in the parable (of the prodigal son), does not close His heart to any of His children. He waits for them, looks for them, goes to meet them at the place where the refusal of communion imprisons them in isolation and division. He calls them to gather about His table in the joy of the feast of forgiveness and reconciliation.
"This initiative on God’s part is made concrete and manifest in the redemptive act of Christ, which radiates through the world by means of the ministry of the Church." 13
13. Pope John Paul II, as in Celebrate 2000!, Servant Publications, pp. 140-141.
3. Luke 1:38
Mary said, 'You see before you the Lord's servant, let it happen to me as you have said.' And the angel left her.
4. Consecrate your heart to Jesus and Mary.
5. Mary is our Mother.
6. R. This is from the Apostles’ Manual on Ascension Thursday, I AM Alive!
May 25, 1995
R.
Prayer is a lifting up of our minds and hearts to God. Who am I that I can change any event that is occurring in the lives of another, that I can affect the outcome of any event? I am a child of my Father. My Father is the Almighty God. How I love my dear Father. He is God and He has created me in His own image and likeness. My beloved, dear Father, how I love You that You give me such gifts - that You allow me to share in Your life!
7. You are the Father of Jesus and You are My Father. Thank You, My Father, for all Your gifts and for Your life. Who am I that I can affect the life of any person?
8. I am a child of God. I call on my dear Father and He loves me so, He listens to me. I lift my heart to You, my dear beloved Father and You listen to little me and You care for me so much. I call upon God and the Almighty God cares for me with such love that He listens. end of excerpt
9. Act of consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
Lord Jesus, Chief Shepherd of the flock, I consecrate myself to Your most Sacred Heart. From Your pierced Heart the Church was born, the Church You have called me, as a member of Shepherds of Christ Associates, to serve in a most special way. You reveal Your Heart as a symbol of Your love in all its aspects, including Your most special love for me, whom You have chosen as Your companion in this most important work. Help me to always love You in return. Help me to give myself entirely to You. Help me always to pour out my life in love of God and neighbor! Heart of Jesus, I place my trust in You!
10. Act of consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary
Dear Blessed Virgin Mary, I consecrate myself to your maternal and Immaculate Heart, this Heart which is symbol of your life of love. You are the Mother of my Savior. You are also my Mother. You love me with a most special love as a member of Shepherds of Christ Associates, a movement created by your Son as a powerful instrument for the renewal of the Church and the world. In a return of love, I give myself entirely to your motherly love and protection. You followed Jesus perfectly. You are His first and perfect disciple. Teach me to imitate you in the putting on of Christ. Be my motherly intercessor so that, through your Immaculate Heart, I may be guided to an ever closer union with the pierced Heart of Jesus, Chief Shepherd of the flock.

Guiding Light homily series — Reflect on the Word — Cycle B The Word leaves an impression on our souls. In my thoughts and reflections are born a more tangible understanding of these eternal concepts presented in the Gospels and the readings. Anyone can read a sentence, but not anyone can absorb it's true meaning. Truth, in this day and age, is almost a matter of opinion or individual entitlement. We believe that Christ's truth is our Roman Catholic Church. We, as priests, champion it's teachings; we are ambassadors for the Pope and Christ to those faces looking at us. We are the light by which our congregation reads to reflect upon real truth and we do it hand in hand. $10 |
Guiding Light homily series — Steadfast to the Son — Cycle A The sunflower is a great example of how we should be steadfastly guided by light. What a powerful thought that this exceptional plant is not stuck in one pose day in and day out, yet adaptable and magnetized to the sun. We feel the same about our Son. Our heads turns to face Christ as each day presents its challenges to find light. We join together like plants in a field and soak up the Son through the pulpit. We are a warm circle of strength using the wind of our breath to carry our priests' words, Christ's words, to new rich soil. $10 |
Guiding Light — Focusing on the Word — Cycle B At times we may feel that our path to Christ is a bit "out of focus". Like the disciples in the Book of Mark, this ordinary life clouds our vision of Christ's Divinity. We may doubt the practicality or possibility of applying His teachings and example to our modern life. Cycle B's homilies are a "guiding light" to help us realize Jesus' Messianic greatness and His promise of better things to come. $10 |
Guiding Light — Feed My Soul — Cycle C In a world rapidly advancing and encouraging personal gain, we are faced with modern problems. There is a challenge to find time in our busy schedules for Sunday Mass or a family meal. We are able to research, shop, bank and even work without hearing one human voice. It is no wonder that we may often feel disconnected and famished at our week's end. In Fr. Joe's third book of homilies from Cycle C, we are reminded of the charity that Christ intended us to show each other. We have a calling to turn the other cheek and be the Good Samaritan to others. We are rewarded with the Father's kingdom and love when we are not worthy. We are not left alone or hungry. $10 |
