Prayer for Grace for our Country

Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

    What has Shepherds of Christ and being a Handmaid done for my life and for my relationship with Jesus?

    I first heard of Shepherds of Christ from a letter received concerning a rosary gathering at Tom’s Farm in October 1996. My family already had plans for the 13th. When I received a notice for November 13th my brother and I went not knowing much about Shepherds of Christ, but if it was praying the rosary-it had to be good. It was the most powerful rosary I ever attended. I didn’t go for several months, but felt drawn to this ministry and compelled to pray the prayers and read the blue books. Jesus was talking directly to me through them and it was great.

    Jesus has always worked slowly in my heart. Pain and suffering in my early adult life brought me to realize that God was the only one I could turn to in my need. God alone was my strength.

    In July 1997, news came that the department where I worked was being phased out by the parent company on the east coast. I was disenchanted with my job and I only continued working there to live, so I wasn’t concerned about the lack of a job.

    During this same time, I felt pulled in my heart to pray with Shepherds of Christ as a body. I was shy and I would just come, sit, pray and be silent, not really talking to anyone very much.

    I knew from my childhood that I would never marry. The pull Jesus had on me was stronger than the world’s, though I didn’t realize the source. For the past year I had become closer to Jesus and I felt what I would do with my life, next, would be for him alone.

    On August 13, 1998, I went to China, Indiana, to the monthly rosary knowing something was going to happen-but not knowing what. During the rosary the president of Shepherds of Christ started reading a letter from Jesus about women being called as handmaids and their way of life. I felt the power of the Holy Spirit descend on my head and I was glad to be sitting. I knew Jesus was calling me to become a handmaid, a call that I had been waiting patiently for, for over two years.

    After the rosary I acted on the Holy Spirit’s prompting immediately-knowing if I didn’t, I would find excuses not to. Jesus’ hand is very strong in my life. I was accepted as a candidate for a handmaid within a few days and gave two weeks notice at work. I found myself in Clearwater, Florida, within three weeks.

    As a Handmaid of the Good Shepherd my life is very prayerful and very one on one with Jesus as His spouse. He is the Bridegroom of my Soul. Just being with him after Mass and in front of the tabernacle is candy to my soul and leaves me speechless. Being a handmaid has brought the joy, love and peace of my Divine Bridegroom into my life to an extent I didn’t even know could exist.

    He calls me to constant change and growth. I cannot remain the same, for my life and love for him would stagnate. I live to serve him. I have only scratched the surface of the depth to which my soul craves union with my Lord and Savior. Any life in God is hard work, but the rewards are unbounded.

    Jesus loves each and everyone of us on a personal level. He died on the cross to save each soul. He, the living God, is truly waiting in the tabernacle for us, to love us, if we would only come and sit with him.

    Since my move to Clearwater, Florida, in 1998, I have recently traveled to China, Indiana, for a stay and I am currently in Morrow, Ohio, doing the work Jesus has called me to do. Jesus knows where I will be next, even though I do not.

    There is nothing boring about being on Jesus’ roller coaster. The ride is into eternity! I can’t wait to see you there!

Messenger: My desire for Him ever deepens.
            In this season I want to be so caught up in the
                   readings at Mass, I want the Eucharist so
                    much, I crave it. When I receive the
                    Eucharist I scarce can stand it.
                    I love Him so much, I just want deeper
                    and deeper union with Him.

                    His presence when I receive Him in
                        the Eucharist makes me cry.

                    I pray the prayer before the Mass,
                        the Prayer for Union with Jesus -

                        saying the prayer He has given helps
                            me be so much more deeply
                            united to Him.

                    This is my joy - deeper union with Him -

                        I long, long for the Mass -
                        I want completeness in Him which
                        I will not have until heaven -
                        my desire for Him and this completeness
                            deepens with every communion.

                    Saying these prayers really help.

A Prayer before the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass

    Let me be a holy sacrifice and unite with God in the sacrament of His greatest love.

    I want to be one in Him in this act of love, where He gives Himself to me and I give myself as a sacrifice to Him. Let me be a holy sacrifice as I become one with Him in this my act of greatest love to Him.

    Let me unite with Him more, that I may more deeply love Him. May I help make reparation to His adorable Heart and the heart of His Mother, Mary. With greatest love, I offer myself to You and pray that You will accept my sacrifice of greatest love. I give myself to You and unite in Your gift of Yourself to me. Come and possess my soul.

    Cleanse me, strengthen me, heal me. Dear Holy Spirit act in the heart of Mary to make me more and more like Jesus.

    Father, I offer this my sacrifice, myself united to Jesus in the Holy Spirit to You. Help me to love God more deeply in this act of my greatest love.

    Give me the grace to grow in my knowledge, love and service of You and for this to be my greatest participation in the Mass. Give me the greatest graces to love You so deeply in this Mass, You who are so worthy of my love.

Prayer for Union With Jesus     Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Messenger:   My desire is to spend time alone with Him
                 and praying my rosary.

                     There is so many things to do now and my
                        duties with my family and yet,
                        I have to do both because it
                        is His will for me - Be alone with
                        God, go to Mass, adoration, pray
                        the rosary, write the daily message,
                        clean the house, pay bills, tend
                        to the family, prepare for Christmas
                        celebrations with family,
                        prepare for the 5th and 17th -

                    How do we do it all?
                    Only by His grace can I even handle it
                        without being unloving or anxious.
                    What good is it to do anything, if we
                        aren't loving, because we
                        offend our God who is all loving
                        and deserves our love.

                    I know these prayers help to draw me closer

                    I know I have to pick
                        myself up and shake myself off and do
                        all I can to do my daily duties and

Jesus speaks:  Open your eyes now for I want to flood your heart with My grace. And I want you to be that light in the darkness. And I want you to let go and set the captives free. But you want to worry. You’ve done it all your life. And I’ve been there all your life. And you kept saying but God I’ve got to worry. And I whisper in your ear and tell you I am right here. The very hairs of your head are numbered. And for one moment you feel a light and then go back into the dark slump and say ‘what is wrong around me?’ ‘What is wrong that needs fixing?’ ‘I don’t feel good inside.’ ‘What could it be?’ And I say to you: the evil one wants you to create that dark cloud. Let go. Pray for grace. Realize that you must stay connected to Me all through the day in silent prayer in your heart, depending on Me. I am the Bridegroom of your soul. You are My spouse. How should your face look if you are the spouse of the Almighty God? And why do you worry if you truly believe that? Oh you of little faith, I am with you now. Tomorrow can be a new day but it takes the act of the will to surrender to Me and to keep that focus on your eternal reward always before you wanting this more than anything—union with God. Do not be afraid for I love you so dearly. Do not be afraid. Keep a picture of Me before your eyes always.

Jesus speaks:  I am God. I am Jesus, Son of the Living God. I come that you might live, that you will have life in Me, that your hearts may be ready for the Kingdom of God. And where are they? For this short time they want to be satisfied. They seek after empty wells. They run down roads that lead to destruction. They go full steam ahead in a life that has no room for God. They do not know why they were created. They are empty and hollow inside, but they continue to follow their empty lives.

Oh, little ones, you turn your backs. You listen to the sick world. I am here in all these ways but you do not want to do My will. You want to do the will of the world! Store up all these treasures here? For what? They make no difference. They are worthless to Me.

Pray, oh My children. Pray for these children in darkness! How do I reach them? Do they need a bump on their head to know that My kingdom waits and it isn't of this world? I bring My curtain down and your life is over. So sad, he who chooses to live only in this world! I have given him so many chances but he continues to sin and delights in harming his brothers. I make ready a place for all My children, so they might come and be saved. I pursue them as a treasure in the field. I open My gates. I give them every opportunity to be saved but some choose to remain indifferent to Me and caught in themselves and their sins. They make themselves their gods and are miserable inside. Only I give them what they crave. To try to fill yourself with this world is not a happy life because the soul thirsts for only that which I can give and the body holds all things of Me at an arm's distance from the soul.

He says, "You do not know even the smallest amount of the immensity of the love that I have for you. You must come into My Heart. It is in My Heart that I lavishly give you My great love."

Jesus:  Come to My open Heart through My pierced side. Look at the wound in My side. Suffering helps you reach My immense love. Enter My Heart through My pierced side and fall deeply into the abyss of My great love.

Jesus:  Do not let your hearts turn cold! You must come to Me with hearts that are soft and ready to love. Put aside all the hardness in your hearts, for a soul that is haughty and angry cannot unite with My love. I long to be in the deepest union with each one of you present. So deep! Jesus speaks:  I call you to surrender. I call you to let go. There’s so many things you want to hold on to, and you cannot control and you cannot change. Have you learned your lesson yet? You must give them to Me. It is the only way to peace in your heart. Let go and surrender. I am with you but I am teaching you to depend on Me to let go and to love Me. Let go. You can’t control all those things that you would desire. And you cannot control your children or your job many times. You must surrender to those things that you cannot control and give them to Me for I promise you that I will help you. But you must let go and you must turn to Me. You must let go and you must turn to Me. I will answer your prayer when you pray to Me. I am your God and I love you so.

Messenger:  But Jesus it is so hard. It is just hard so many times. I just want to complain and I just can’t seem to keep myself quiet.

Jesus speaks:  And I say to you My child. You must pray for the grace that you will thank your God for the gifts that you are given. That you will see with a light. See all the good things that I give to you. For it is the evil one that wants you to focus on those dark things. And I am watching you. And it hurts My Heart when I give you so many things and you do not even say thanks to Me. And I am there wanting to love you and so many times you run after that person that just is not the one that is to help you or to do this or that. Appreciate all those that are in your life today for they are gifts that I send to you. And love them and thank them. It is in letting go. It is in realizing that I am in charge that you will have peace in your heart. If it is really peace that you desire, you will surrender and you will realize that you are dependent on Me.

Glory be to the Father and to the Son....

Jesus speaks: Where are you going with your huffy haughty little attitude? Do you not realize that I can do so much in the blinking of an eye. And yet you press onward and onward pushing harder and harder many times doing the same thing the same way and getting no where. And you try harder and harder to do it the same way to no avail. And you skip your prayers and your time with Me. And I do not like that. For I want you to come to Me and it can take you all day when you act that way. For the lesson I am trying to teach you is to turn your life over to Me and to depend on Me. You push harder and harder and harder and you become more and more frustrated. Get down on your knees and say some prayers and ask for My help and I will hear you. And if I do not alleviate the suffering do not be frustrated and say oh the prayers did not work. You must realize that you’re being taught a lesson in that suffering. Some are so impatient. They would ruin the whole vacation for 2 minutes in which they became impatient and could not wait. Those silly ones. Pray your rosary. Pray to Me. Do not hit your brother in the head because you had to wait. Pray pray pray. Oh dear ones you see so little. And when I try to open your eyes you just do not budge. You think you know so much and yet sometimes you accomplish so little. For in everything that you do you should ask Me to come with My mighty arm. I am God. I am a God of Might. I am a God of Justice. I am God that wants your love. I am One that does not want to be ignored, ignored by My creatures and you My chosen ones. I’m telling you it is love that I want. It is love not sacrifice. Love, love. Doing things lovingly. Loving one another. Talking lovingly. Acting lovingly. Appreciating the moments that I give you and the friends that you have. Thanking Me for this spring day and summer day and the coolness of a winter night with snow laid so carefully on the ground. Oh My little one you see so little. You feel so much so many times and it is anger and resentment and discomfort when that very thing could be turned into a moment of joy. But you have already chosen your thoughts to be those of irritability. You must ask for the grace to help to change your mind slot in your ways for you are fixed many times in a groove and you do not even see the way. Do you want to be happy? Then it is an act of your will. Do you want to have peace? Then you must ask God for the grace and to choose peace in your heart. I love you so My chosen one. It is this simple and you’ve made it so complicated so many times. And the evil one comes in with his bag of tricks and you listen to him. And he speaks and he speaks. Please My child hear the words I speak to you tonight for I am giving you great grace to be healed. But you must realize a lot depends on your will and what you really want in your heart for yourself.

The Carrying of the Cross

#8. Jesus:  My children, My children! I do not tell you things to be taken lightly. In My Heart I am longing for such union with you but you do not hear. You close your eyes and plug up your ears. You do not listen time and time again. I have come to you this evening and I have asked you to pray in front of this statue. I ask you to meditate on this. You do not know what I am saying to you. You take these words lightly. This world is in pain. You do not know the sufferings that are about to befall you. I ask you to listen, to listen to Me! I am truly Jesus Christ and I come to you this day and I beg you to spend your waking hours spreading My love throughout this world! I beg you to help save souls from damnation. Your actions are so important to Me and the plan of the Father. You are here because you are called and you have answered this call. Each and every one of you present I send into this world as warriors to spread My love. You listen and you take it so lightly but you will know that I am truly calling you for this world is in such sin and pain. To the little work that you do I will apply My grace to lead souls to My Most Sacred Heart. Surrender and become one in Me for I truly am calling you to the highest union for it is in this union that I can operate through you. As long as you resist My call there are many souls that will not be touched. I beg you to take Me seriously. Meditate on this statue (the Pieta). Meditate on this, My children.

#9. Jesus:  I carried My cross on My back And I fell under the cross. See Me as I crawl with the cross on My back.

#10. Jesus:  This is the love that I have for each and every soul. The bodily agonies I experienced were nothing compared to the agonies I experienced in My Heart for the souls that would be condemned to eternal damnation despite My sufferings. I beg you this day to answer My call.

The Crucifixion and Death of Our Lord

#1. Messenger:  He hung for three agonizing hours against the darkened sky. He gave His flesh! He gave His blood! He gave the last beat of His Heart, the last breath in His body! Covered with blood and weakened, He hung on the cross!

#2. Jesus:  I speak and so many do not listen! I am crying out to you to listen to My voice here, to read My letters for they are truly letters of love that I give to each one of you. It is in reading these letters that you will know more and more the immensity of the love that I have for you. You are My soldiers that I send into the sick world with the medicine to heal so many hearts. You are the chosen ones I have called here to this Center.....

#2. Jesus:  ...Please, I beg you, take My call seriously, for I am truly Jesus and I speak to you this day. So many take My plea lightly. I beg! I plead! I ask Rita to talk more and more about My pleadings. You do not know how I am longing for you to be so close. How I want you to surrender and let Me operate in your hearts! You tap ever so lightly when there is an ocean of My love that I want to give to you. Surrender your hearts and read My letters of love for it is in these letters that you will know My love more and more.

#3. Jesus:  I give Myself to you at every Eucharist and you take it so lightly! Take Me seriously, My children, for I am truly with you with much love! How it wounds My aching Heart that you do not listen.

#4. Jesus:  I am sending you into battle in a world that is godless, that has forgotten God, but with your hearts filled with My love. Will you answer My call? 

#5. Jesus:  Surrender! Surrender! Surrender to the God Who gave His life for you!

#6. Jesus:  As Mary walked by My side on the way to Calvary, as she stood under the cross, she is by your side in all your sufferings. You are never alone. 

#7. Jesus: I give you My very own Mother!

#8. Messenger.  As she held His little baby body, she now holds His lifeless body in her arms under the cross.

#10. Messenger:  This rosary is from the Hearts of Jesus and Mary, so united, one with each other. To love Jesus is to love Mary. To love Mary is to love Jesus.

5.  Messenger: Our Lord cries out for the souls of this earth and He cries to ‘Bring Me Souls’. And we see the blood as it falls upon the rose. We see the thorn on every rose.

 We see our lives in shades of light and darkness. We see the death as followed by the resurrection. We see the suffering that leads to greater life. We see a chosen soul leave this earth and move on to a fuller life and being possessed by God and living in Him for all eternity.

 We watch the story as it unfolds in nature, for there is a flower and it fades and the grass that grows is cut and thrown on a heap to die and yet is it not a gift that God gives to man that he can live forever and ever in the presence of God? But He asks man that he live according to God’s will, that he loves Him and serves Him and to those who do this, He promises a great reward. The flower comes and it fades.

 In Winter the trees are barren and in Spring they come in full bloom and the Fall leaves come that Father Carter loved so much. Every year, it was his favorite time of year, to watch those gorgeous leaves as each leaf would come out in its radiant beauty, and it had a uniqueness that you cannot even express and every leaf would be seen on the tree. And at nightfall the sun would go away as it seemed and you could not even see the splendor of the Fall day. And yet in the morning light as it came across the sky you could see the radiance of the beauty of the Fall leaves once again.

 Look how it is in our lives. Is it not that the baby comes so beautiful with the most tiny little fingers and you watch them grow? First, they must be fed and then they hold their own bottle and then they start to sit up and roll over and they look into your eyes and it is as if you see the reflection of God, in the face of a child.

 And we grow and we grow soon to wither and fade. And where do we go for we cannot make this our end here? For we know it is the cycle of life that things happen this way. And yet every moment of our life is so precious to God. Every moment so valuable because it can help to release great grace for the souls of this earth. God is the infinite, Almighty, all powerful God. We think with such limited vision and yet the depth into the mystery we cannot even comprehend. He is so beautiful, He is Creator. He is the One that creates these things, the trees that begin as a little seed and grow thicker and thicker and bigger and bigger and someday to maybe fall to the ground and to become rotten lumber, to go into the earth and to decompose.

 It is the cycle of the Creator that one comes, bright and beautiful and new, and one dies. But the gift that God gives to man is so great for He gives him a chance to be with Him for all eternity, to share in that glory, to be with God, to know His love, to be possessed by Him.

 Oh God I long to be ever closer to You, to know You more, to love You more, to take in all the goodness of this earth, to see Your reflection in every soul, to pray for myself and for them and I want the fullness of this heart so likened to Yours.

 Oh God reach down into our hearts this night and make them full, full of Your love. Fill us with Your grace, that we will be able to spend all the remaining moments of our life so connected to You, that soon when we go to heaven we will truly be united to You in a deep union.

 Oh God with awe I see You and I love You so much. Thank You for the wonders of this earth, the great gifts. Thank You for all that You have created with such splendor and glory. Thank You for all that are gathered here that love You and this world and all that are in it.

 Oh God thank You, thank You, thank You for all that lives. Amen.

6. Messenger:  See His blood stained cheek in the vision and see Him in the garden, the Almighty, all good God and all that He gives to us and we are so ungrateful so many times. This is reality that God is, He is with us and He loves us so much.

7.  Messenger:  Oh God we plead for the grace to see with a wider vision to know more about You, to receive deeper insight into Your Divine Mysteries. We ask that You help us to see with the eyes of faith.

8. Messenger:  And they hold on to so many things and I see Him in the garden and His sweat falls to the ground as drops of blood.

9.  Messenger:  And I see the dew on the rose and I see the blood as drops on the rose and I see the thorns and a crown that they used to pound into His precious head. Think of the baby, the tiny little fingers and how it is if a little prick would go into such tender skin, but think of the preciousness of the skin of Jesus and think of His skin pierced by the harsh thorns of the crown that they pounded into His most holy head. Oh holy head of Jesus, head that shed this blood, head that bore the crown for our sins, help us to see with a wider vision that we will know You God, love You God and have the burning zealous desire within our heart and our soul to reach the souls of the earth with this great message of Your endless love for man.

10. Messenger:  I see His blood upon the rose.

Before the Glory Be

 Jesus speaks:  And they stripped Me and they beat Me and they crowned Me with thorns and I withstood it for you, My precious souls, for the ones that I love so dearly.

 

    The Second Sorrowful Mystery
        The Scourging at the Pillar

 1.  Jesus speaks:  They whipped Me, they spit on Me and they crowned Me with thorns.

 2.  Jesus speaks:  Study the picture of My Heart, the picture that your founder loved, see My Heart aglow for love of you, see the wound in My Heart and the thorns that surround My Heart of love, see My Heart on fire consumed with love of souls. Will you help Me reach them?

 3.  Jesus speaks:  Your life is so important to so many and I tell you that the flower grows, the tree grows to a mighty oak, the fruitful vine produces much fruit and you have a life given to you by God to help to bear fruit for the kingdom.

 4.    Jesus speaks:  Why would you get caught up in your whims or the focus that you have on yourself when I am asking you to reach out to those in need, to pray with all your hearts, to offer your lives – all those little things that you do for grace, for the souls of the earth? Yes, your life is so important to Me and you were created by My Father in heaven and He is God.

 5.  Jesus speaks:  I have clothed the earth with such beauty, the smallest details in the little wild flower. Do you see how precious indeed your life is to Me?

 6.  Jesus speaks:  I took on flesh, I came to the earth. The Almighty God, took on a human body. Do you know how much indeed I love you?

 7.    Jesus speaks:  I say to you, ‘Thou shalt not kill’ and yet some think that it is all right to kill oneself and it is not, for God gives to you that life and it is precious to Him. Spread this word to all, how precious indeed is the life of My chosen ones.

 8.    Jesus speaks: And it is one life that can do so-o much. Pray for the gift of faith. Pray constantly.

 Do not give into any tauntings of the evil one to distract you or to lead you from the focus, for God has called and you are chosen and that one life can affect so many souls. Do not fool yourself and do not listen to the words of the evil one.

 Know this: If all of you believed in this room you could help to bring down so much grace that the world itself would be a different place.

 9.  Jesus speaks:  If you just had a little faith, pray for faith, you do not even comprehend the depth of My love.

 10. Messenger: There is a warmth, and I dare tell you, the warmth of His Heart is hotter than any fire or anything that we can imagine. It is this consuming love of the Divine God of which I boast and I want to help to light this fire throughout the whole world that the men of this earth will be one, realizing that they were created by the Divine God in His image and likeness, that they will know God and love Him and want to serve Him and there will just be love on the earth, love as God desires, love and happiness. Amen.

         Before the Glory Be

Messenger:  For God created the world and the things that are in it and it is man and how he uses it that many times he contaminates the most beautiful things that God has given. And we must pray for men that they will see the light and see the beauty in the creation of God.

 Oh God You are so good to us, thank You for all that You have done for us and for all the souls. And we are sorry for our sins and the sins of this people of the earth and we want to make reparation to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary and we are sorry for offending you Our beloved God. Look to this little remnant of people and see us praying with all of our hearts filled with love for you gathered here and we ask you God to have mercy on the people of this earth and on us and grant us grace. Amen.
