Happy New Year and Let us thank God and love Him and one another.
Dear Friend,
I give my heart to Jesus and Mary with you in love.
1 Jn 2:12-17 Luke 2:36-40
In the first reading here St. John addresses us as 'little ones'
then 'fathers' and' young men'
St. John is appealing to us all to love like Christ in our families and communities -to get along-children of the Father.
We must obey the law in our lives
Laws- we are accountable for things. i.e.
we must have a license plate to drive, a license for our car up to date.
With God we must follow His rule of love.
We must follow His rules.
He has given us the
Church and it's structure.
He has given us the structure of the family.
He has given His commandments to live by-not bearing false witness not lying, loving our brothers, being in God's Family-God is our Father-we are little ones, but fathers and young men in this world.
Jesus is the most perfect man-we follow Him-He suffered so in His passion for His Heart consumed with love knowing all who would not love Him and love their brothers.
Saint John speaks of evil and sin
When we treat others unlovingly we are sinning Fr. Carter our founder said.
The law of God is love.
The more we follow the law of God the more we don't get caught in the folly of the world.
God the Father is our example for being a Father.-LOVE-LOVE-GIVING LOVE.
God the Father created us uniquely special with talents to use to help build the Kingdom of God.
What we have has been given to us.
We are commanded to love God and love others
St. John says if we say we love God and hate our brother we are a liar
Love is truth.
Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.
There are no lies in heaven.
There is unity and love, perfection to God's will.
The Word is to be in us and if we live by the Word we will not give into the ways of the devil.
We are instructed in God's ways in the Word and the commandments.
God gives to us the Church the pillar of truth.
We are under God.
We can't rebel like Eve and do what we want.
There are rules God gives us. St. John says the man who does God's will endures forever.
In the Gospel Anna prayed and she was rewarded.
Anna gave honor and glory to God.
Anna saw the Holy Family.
We see the hidden life of Christ.
We see how living according to God's will is important.
We would have probably given the young Jesus a place on center stage.
It was God's will He lived this hidden life.
Life is found in doing God's will in love.
That's it in a nut shell.
And Jesus loves us so much giving Himself to us daily in the Eucharist
waiting for our love.
Why would we put Jesus on a back burner and take center stage for our vain glory.
Peace is found in doing God's will in love.
Our Hearts were made for love.
Love is truth.
We obey and live by the rules God gave us.
We have the Church and the priest.
We have the sacraments the fountain of His life.
The Church the leaven in this troubled world.
Help us spread Fr. Joe's book rooted in the Word and the Eucharist and love and relationship to all the priests in the US we have already spread 15,000 to priest in Ohio, Florida, Kentucky, New York, Indiana, Ill., all Cardinals of the world, the pope, and all US bishops. Cardinal George told me 5 books ago to send these books.
We have one life to live on this earth.
False teachers come in so many ways in the world.
The Word is a two edged sword living in us.
We receive a sharing in His life in Baptism.
The Father, Son and Holy Spirit dwell in our graced baptized soul. Awesome!!!
We belong to Christ.
We put on Christ.
This life is nourished through the Eucharist and His Word.
Awesome, indeed God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit dwell in my graced baptized soul.
Happy Feast Mary Mother of God.
Happy New Year.
May it be a year to love and serve God with all our hearts, all our souls and love our neighbor as ourselves.
While we see ourselves as little ones under God-loving Him as a little child of the Father like Mary.
We are living, then, being more abundantly filled with His life and living as witnesses of the Gospel in this world.
God Bless all of us that the world is more like the Father wants because of our lives-lived in Him.
Happy 2012.
When we go to bed today we can never live the moments of this day again.
Alleluia praise the Lord for the gift of this day.
Moments to live as God wishes us to be.
All for the honor and glory of God.
