December 8th Holy Spirit Novena |
The Novena Rosary
Mysteries |
Pray for Chuck & other intentions.
Consecration Prayer for Peace
I consecrate Russia and the Ukraine to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
I further consecrate the priests, the Church and the world to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary.
I do this in the name of Jesus in as far as I am able, united to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, praying to the Father, in the Holy Spirit, with all the angels and saints and the souls in purgatory through the powerful intercession of Mary, Queen of Peace. Amen.
I further consecrate myself, all members of my family and ask the Holy Spirit to fill us. I spread the Blood of Jesus on all above, I cast the devil into hell away from all of us and consecrate all persons, in as far as I am able, to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart.
Prayer for Grace for our Country
Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

I am Our Lady of Clearwater.
R. God is direct and
upright - steadfast in
His ways.
Never operate in
desolation, the devil
is confusion,
keep your focus on
Jesus.
We must keep praying.
Jesus came and gave
His all.
Jesus came for sinners.
We cannot clear the
decks of sin, evil
exists, but our faith
and keeping on
confidently helps us
with blessings in our lives.
Blessings, roses are
beautiful, but has thorns.
Most Sacred Heart of
Jesus we place our
trust in Thee.
We pray for the gifts
of the Holy Spirit
infused in our intellect.
Today last year my
sister died.
I read the 7 Sorrows
in her hospice room
and she opened her
eyes and looked at
the ceiling.
I experienced great
peace.
St. Augustine says:
Peace is the
tranquility of order.
We keep our eyes on
Jesus.
That is the right order,
God must be first.
God is a God of
miracles, that is
normal for God.
He knows all our
struggles, we must
keep focused on His
might.
Most Sacred Heart of
Jesus we believe You
are with us in everything,
even in sufferings,
hard times, He
teaches us when it's
hard and we stay
united firm in Him.
God we turn to You
for Your grace and
Your love.
We place our trust in
You.
Fr. Carter's father
and mother was
Joseph and Mary.
Fr. Joe is Joseph,
Mary was my sister.
Think of how St.
Joseph and Mary
kept their focus on
God, relying
confidently moving
on in sorrows.
R. Mary especially, look
at her holding Jesus
under the cross.
Mary waited, on the
third day, Jesus rose
from the dead.
Mary suffered, her
sufferings were
turned to joy!!!!
R. God gives us gifts,
even in suffering.
Babies are so beautiful.
God has the world in
His hands, the world
belongs to Christ.
All is calm and all is
bright, God gives us
a Guardian angel,
God sends angels to
help us, God is light
and in Him is no
darkness. Put your
trust in God!!!!
God watches over us,
His love is there.
A star shown in
Bethlehem over the
Christ child in a
stable with animals.
The Kings came to
worship Him.
Peace on earth, good
will to men.
Jesus says: I am the
way, the truth and
the life.
The rain comes and
waters the earth.
God sends us
blessings even in
suffering.

Sorrowful Mysteries
The Agony in the Garden
1. John the Baptist said
"I must decrease,
He must increase."
We empty ourselves
more and more so
the Christ-life can
live in us.
2. St. Paul says …I
have been crucified
with Christ, it’s no
longer I who live, but
He who lives in Me.
Galatians 2: 19-20
3. We need to have
order in our lives. We
see obedience on
Jesus’ part always of
the Father’s will.
God must be first.
4. John 15:12
“This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have
loved you.”
5. Jesus suffered for
our sins, what should
I do to show my love
for Him?
6. Jesus is so
generous, I must
grow in generosity to
others.
7. Christ suffered
great pain for my sins.
Identify with Christ in
suffering.
Jesus was arrested,
treated so cruelly.
8. Think of Jesus as
He went to the
Garden and knew all
He would suffer.
9. And Jesus sweat blood.
December 5, 2022
This was at 3:00pm
10. Matthew 26:38
“My soul is sad, even unto death. Wait here and watch
with Me.”
The Scourging at the Pillar
1. Jesus suffered so
much for my sin.
2. Matthew 14:35-36
Having made the crossing, they came to land at Gennesaret. When the local people recognised him they spread the news through the whole neighbourhood and took all that were sick to him, begging him just to let them touch the fringe of his cloak. And all those who touched it were saved.
3. Jesus asked them
to pray and not doze
off. They slept.
4. Jesus asked 3 times.
5. They kept sleeping.
6. Matthew 20:18-19
'Look, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of man is about to be handed over to the chief priests and scribes. They will condemn him to death and will hand him over to the gentiles to be mocked and scourged and crucified; and on the third day he will be raised up again.'
7. Jesus’ body was
beaten raw for our sins.
8. Matthew 26:42
Again, a second time, he went away and prayed: ‘My Father,’ he said, ‘if this cup cannot pass by, but I must drink it, your will be done!’
9. Think of the
suffering of His Heart,
so deep.
10. Hebrews 5: 7-9
During his life on earth, he offered up prayer and entreaty, with loud cries and with tears, to the one who had the power to save him from death, and, winning a hearing by his reverence, he learnt obedience, Son though he was, through his sufferings; when he had been perfected, he became for all who obey him the source of eternal salvation
The Crowning of Thorns
1. Matthew
27: 27-31
Then the governor’s soldiers took Jesus with them into the Praetorium and collected the whole cohort round him. And they stripped him and put a scarlet cloak round him, and having twisted some thorns into a crown they put this on his head and placed a reed in his right hand. To make fun of him they knelt to him saying, ‘Hail, king of the Jews!’ And they spat on him and took the reed and struck him on the head with it. And when they had finished making fun of him, they took off the cloak and dressed him in his own clothes and led him away to crucifixion.
2. Jesus was always
teaching us. Jesus
showed us in the
bitter passion how to
handle suffering.
3. When suffering we
must keep praying
and move ahead in
confidence. Keep on,
keeping on - serving
God like when
everything was okay.
Focus on Jesus!!!
4. Jesus showed us
He endured the
suffering of the
passion.
5. Like an innocent
lamb, Jesus was led
to the slaughter.
6. Study the example
Jesus gave to us in
the Passion. Meditate
on Jesus’ endurance!!!
7. Look how Jesus
suffered for us, for
our sins, should we
not be ready to suffer
in this life as we are
called to do to be
witnesses as
followers of Christ.
8. So much anger and
bitterness can come
from others who
betrayed or wounded
us. Some nurse
bitterness lifelong,
punishing innocent
others, like holding a
trophy they worship -
a trophy of being a
victim allowing
lifelong, bitterness,
acted out hurting
innocent others.
9. Look how Judas,
the chosen apostle,
lied and deceived
Jesus. Judas betrayed
Jesus with a kiss that
led to the bitter passion.
Look how Jesus
teaches us how He
handled that betrayal
of Judas.
10. Think of how men
have betrayed God
today. God is so good
to us. God offers us
forgiveness for the
penitent sinner.
Generosity - we are
called to be loving
and generous like
Jesus.
The Carrying of the Cross
1. When we meditate
on Jesus carrying the
cross, we see how
we are to endure in
our calling to be
faithful to the
Heavenly Father's
Plan for us.
2. Jesus shows us
His commitment to
endure under all
duress, to follow the
Father’s will.
3. How do we follow
Jesus in following the
Father’s Plan for us?
4. Heavenly Father,
You created us in
love to uniquely
contribute to the
building of the
Kingdom of God.
Help us to grow in
the Christ-life as You
desire in calling us to
do in our vocation
today.
5. God calls us to
help in the work of
redemption. (Blue
Book 11). Our lives
are important to God
the Father’s Plan.
Response to God’s Love.
6. We must see the
big picture in our
lives, to see how God
has worked in our lives.
7. Christ endured
such suffering and
pain for love of us.
Love gives for the other.
8. Christ was humiliated
more and more, then
forced to carry the
cross laden with our
sins, and all the sins
of the world.
9. Oh God we are sorry
for our sins. At the
beginning of Mass
we tell God, sorrowfully,
how we are sorry for
our sins.
10. The Mass is the
sacrifice of Calvary,
sacramentally made present.
In the Mass, we are
sorry for our sins, we
want to offer the Mass
to help make reparation
for sin, in thanksgiving,
adoration and petition.
God we are sorry for
our sins. We adore and
love and thank You.
Please forgive us and
help us in our needs.
The Crucifixion
1. Oh my crucified Lord,
I love You so much.
2. We are to die to those
ways not like Jesus
and rise in Him.
3. The Good Shepherd
laid down His life
for His flock.
4. We cannot even
fathom such love
Christ has for us.
5. John 19:25-26
Near the cross of Jesus stood his mother and his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary of Magdala. Seeing his mother and the disciple whom he loved standing near her, Jesus said to his mother, ‘Woman, this is your son.’
6. How hard it must
have been for Mary
to be near Christ's cross.
7. Mary: I stood beneath
the cross of my Son and
my heart was in such
anguish to watch my
Son die. Souls are
being lost despite all
Jesus did. Please listen,
life is so short, heaven
is so beautiful, my
children. Help me
reach my children.
December 5, 2022
8. Mary: Jesus loves
you so much.
Jesus gave Himself
on the cross. Jesus
gives you the priest,
the sacraments today.
Oh children, do not
disobey God.
9. Mary: Life is so
short! Love and serve
God and help each other.
Happiness is in God.
10. Sing: A Priest is a Gift from God
Sing: A Song from Jesus
Sing: See the Eyes that Look at Mary

Guiding Light homily series — Reflect on the Word — Cycle B The Word leaves an impression on our souls. In my thoughts and reflections are born a more tangible understanding of these eternal concepts presented in the Gospels and the readings. Anyone can read a sentence, but not anyone can absorb it's true meaning. Truth, in this day and age, is almost a matter of opinion or individual entitlement. We believe that Christ's truth is our Roman Catholic Church. We, as priests, champion it's teachings; we are ambassadors for the Pope and Christ to those faces looking at us. We are the light by which our congregation reads to reflect upon real truth and we do it hand in hand. $10 |
Guiding Light homily series — Steadfast to the Son — Cycle A The sunflower is a great example of how we should be steadfastly guided by light. What a powerful thought that this exceptional plant is not stuck in one pose day in and day out, yet adaptable and magnetized to the sun. We feel the same about our Son. Our heads turns to face Christ as each day presents its challenges to find light. We join together like plants in a field and soak up the Son through the pulpit. We are a warm circle of strength using the wind of our breath to carry our priests' words, Christ's words, to new rich soil. $10 |
Guiding Light — Focusing on the Word — Cycle B At times we may feel that our path to Christ is a bit "out of focus". Like the disciples in the Book of Mark, this ordinary life clouds our vision of Christ's Divinity. We may doubt the practicality or possibility of applying His teachings and example to our modern life. Cycle B's homilies are a "guiding light" to help us realize Jesus' Messianic greatness and His promise of better things to come. $10 |
Guiding Light — Feed My Soul — Cycle C In a world rapidly advancing and encouraging personal gain, we are faced with modern problems. There is a challenge to find time in our busy schedules for Sunday Mass or a family meal. We are able to research, shop, bank and even work without hearing one human voice. It is no wonder that we may often feel disconnected and famished at our week's end. In Fr. Joe's third book of homilies from Cycle C, we are reminded of the charity that Christ intended us to show each other. We have a calling to turn the other cheek and be the Good Samaritan to others. We are rewarded with the Father's kingdom and love when we are not worthy. We are not left alone or hungry. $10 |
