Genesis 3: 9-15, 20

But Yahweh God called to the man. 'Where are you?' he asked. 'I heard the sound of you in the garden,' he replied. 'I was afraid because I was naked, so I hid.' 'Who told you that you were naked?' he asked. 'Have you been eating from the tree I forbade you to eat?' The man replied, 'It was the woman you put with me; she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it.' Then Yahweh God said to the woman, 'Why did you do that?' The woman replied, 'The snake tempted me and I ate.'

Then Yahweh God said to the snake, 'Because you have done this,

    Accursed be you
    of all animals wild and tame!
    On your belly you will go
    and on dust you will feed
    as long as you live.
    I shall put enmity
    between you and the woman,
    and between your offspring and hers;
    it will bruise your head
    and you will strike its heel.'

The man named his wife 'Eve' because she was the mother of all those who live.

Ephesians 1: 3-6, 11-12

Blessed be God
    the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
who has blessed us
    with all the spiritual blessings of heaven
        in Christ.
Thus he chose us in Christ
    before the world was made
to be holy and faultless
    before him in love,
marking us out for himself beforehand,
    to be adopted sons,
        through Jesus Christ.
Such was his purpose and good pleasure,
to the praise of the glory of his grace,
his free gift to us in the Beloved,

And it is in him
    that we have received our heritage,
marked out beforehand as we were,
under the plan of the One
   who guides all things
as he decides by his own will,
chosen to be,
for the praise of his glory,
the people who
    would put their hopes in Christ
       before he came.

Luke 1: 26-38

In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a town in Galilee called Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man named Joseph, of the House of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary. He went in and said to her, ‘Rejoice, you who enjoy God’s favour! The Lord is with you.’ She was deeply disturbed by these words and asked herself what this greeting could mean, but the angel said to her, ‘Mary, do not be afraid; you have won God’s favour. Look! You are to conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you must name him Jesus. He will be great and will be called Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his ancestor David; he will rule over the House of Jacob for ever and his reign will have no end.’ Mary said to the angel, ‘But how can this come about, since I have no knowledge of man?’ The angel answered, ‘The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will cover you with its shadow. And so the child will be holy and will be called Son of God. And I tell you this too: your cousin Elizabeth also, in her old age, has conceived a son, and she whom people called barren is now in her sixth month, for nothing is impossible to God.’ Mary said, ‘You see before you the Lord’s servant, let it happen to me as you have said.’ And the angel left her.

                Mary was conceived sinless —
                Mary never sinned
                Mary is the New Eve.
                Adam and Eve sinned —
                Eve was rebellious
                Adam and Eve did their own will —

                The purpose of renewal is to show we
                    are to model our lives after the
                    New Adam and the New Eve who
                    are sinless —
                    completely obedience to God's will

                Jesus shows us how He obeyed
                    the will of His Father to
                    His death on the cross —

Obedience to God
Obedience to God's will

                It is in the will —
                We can choose to do God's will
                    instead of our will —

                We say my will
                We have habits of controlling
                We want dominance for dominance
                    sake like Adam and Eve

It is because of Mary that Jesus
came into the world —

                The angel appeared to Mary —
                    Mary said
                    What does God want of me
                    Mary believed
                    Mary said "Be it done unto
                        me according to thy
                        Word"

We say
Hail Mary — full of grace

Hail Mary

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the Fruit of thy womb, Jesus. * Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Mary obeyed

Christ is the perfect mediator
between God and man

                Christ is the high priest
                    The priest is to act as
                    mediator between God and
                    man. Priests are to be holy.

The Mass is the sacrifice of Calvary
sacramentally made present —

John 19: 25-27

Near the cross of Jesus stood his mother and his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary of Magdala. Seeing his mother and the disciple whom he loved standing near her, Jesus said to his mother, ‘Woman, this is your son.’ Then to the disciple he said, ‘This is your mother.’ And from that hour the disciple took her into his home.

Matthew 26: 26-29

Now as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had said the blessing he broke it and gave it to the disciples. ‘Take it and eat,’ he said, ‘this is my body.’ Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he handed it to them saying, ‘Drink from this, all of you, for this is my blood, the blood of the covenant, poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. From now on, I tell you, I shall never again drink wine until the day I drink the new wine with you in the kingdom of my Father.’

Jesus hung on the cross
Jesus died being obedient to the Father —

                At Mass we call to mind
                    Christ has died
                    Christ has risen

                In being obedient — God made
                    atonement to the Father for
                    the sins of men

Jesus shows us the importance
of obeying God

God gives us a free will —

It is the will that we must conform
to God's will —

                Some people just want control
                They do not want to obey —
                They will disobey and then lie to
                    prove they are right.

We must want God's will —
not do our will over God's will —

                We have a reasoning faculty —
                    We see Eve reasoned faultily
                        in the garden —
                        she did it to do her will
                        over God

                    In heaven there is perfect accord
                        to God's will —

The Our Father

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Jesus did the will of the
Father

We see the meekness of Jesus
Jesus was not combatal

                We hear —
                    Mary meek —
                    Mary did God's will

                Argumentative — fighting for dominance
                    for dominance sake — to
                    control —
                    is the opposite of meekness

Man is to be honest in things in
his actions.

                    A man who argues for dominance
                    sake, for control, to be right
                    when in fact he is wrong has
                    put himself and love for himself
                    above love of God.

A meek person is pure in heart —

                A proud person will lie so he looks
                    good — his goal is not loving God,
                    but looking good for himself
                    to people — for his own self
                    glory

                I will talk once again about obedience
                    to God's will —
                    In training our will — in temperance —
                    in truth — we are preparing
                    ourselves for heaven where we must
                    be completely truthful — completely
                    attuned to God's will or we don't
                    get in — heaven is a reward —
                    for obedience to God's will —

                A person that has themselves as their focus
                    and not God — can often lie to protect their
                    face — they want to save face before
                    others —
                    they may have been severely wounded
                        in their image before others and
                        learned a story to protect
                        themselves so they will still
                        look good and developed a habit
                        of lying to be right, in control —
                        this is their god —
                        their image they reason (faulty
                        reason) depends on them always
                        looking good and being right —

                Some have been badly disempowered by
                    mothers, fathers, like rebellious
                    kids away from home — they are
                    going to do what they want and not
                    let anyone over them ever again

                Some have cultural trends that tell
                    them men wear the pants and women
                    wear aprons —
                    when any situation occurs they
                    incorrectly and almost automatically
                    like a bull fighting a red flag
                    go to fight a woman who is showing
                    leadership — even when she is the designated
                    leader

                The lesson learned in childhood —
                    men are to lead —
                        women are to get under their feet —
                        can be automatic in them —
                        and they will
                        push down and
                        push down on
                        a woman leader to
                        correct what they have been
                            trained is a wrong

                Little boys who grew up where moms
                    controlled dad
                    learned that mom ruled —

                But society years ago may have said
                    to them —
                    men wear the pants —
                    push down strong women

                A person who takes 20 minutes to answer
                    is very often processing
                    old stuff —
                    how can I be in control
                    how can I be dominant
                    Jealousies — I don't want them too
                                        close — I will break it
                                        up —

                Men and women are married — raise
                    children — go to work and sit
                    under the same Christmas tree
                    in love —
                    in front of a fire place holding
                        each other in their arms
                    sleep in the same bed

People in divorces can feel
cheated, betrayed —

                A person can have the Smith record —
                    they learned the Smith dance —
                    they may stay home and be successful
                    but if they still have mom or dad
                    controlling little boys and girls or
                    wounded from divorces over
                    sexual dominance they can have
                    major problems when they try to
                    right the imbalance they live with
                    with an innocent other that is
                    trying to do God's will

                  God's will is your prescription —
                       not jealousy, pride, control, dominance
                           for dominance sake

Mary was chosen by God to be the
Mother of God —

                    Mary must be recognized by priests
                in the Church as her rightful
                role —
                as Mother of the Church —

                Anyone who has hidden hang-ups
                    from power of women or
                    men — authority figures
                    over them can
                    have life-long problems
                    doing God's will

Heaven is in perfect attune with
God's will

We must want God's will

Mary is Mother of the Church
Mary is Spouse of the Holy Spirit

                The Holy Spirit works in Mary's
                    Immaculate Heart to bring
                    us forth more and more in the
                    image of Jesus

                I remember when I grew up in Cincinnati
                    there was lots of prejudice in
                    the late 40's and early 50's, 60's —

Did you see the color of their skin and treat
them like an enemy —

                Some did —
                They didn't even know the person —
                They prejudged the person by their
                    prejudice heart, by the
                    color of their skin

                God took Mary's body to heaven
                God raised her above other men
                    and women

                Jesus' body and Mary's body both went to heaven
                    but because of tainted perceptions,
                        divorce, childhood —
                        feelings about women —
                        men can have hidden
                        prejudices they don't even
                        recognize

Mary is the spouse of the Holy Spirit
Mary is the Mother of God

                Mary was conceived without sin
                    (none of the human creatures were
                        but Mary)

Mary is the singular vessel of devotion
Mary is Mother of the Church

                Mary's image appeared in Clearwater,
                    for 7 1/2 years
                    Why was she ignored
                    She is Mother of the Church
                    Nobody even looked into it

                The message of Mary at Fatima
                    said —
                    God wants Mary's Heart
                        venerated next to Jesus'
                        Sacred Heart —

                At the end of the century God gave
                    as the message from Fr. Carter to spread
                    the Priestly Newsletter —
                    as an instrument to make this happen —
                    the prayer chapters as an instrument
                        to make this happen

                Fr. Carter a holy Jesuit priest
                Fr. Carter died —
                    the Movement basically set up
                        by my messages from
                        Jesus and Mary —
                but besides I am a messenger, I am a woman —
                the devil can double block the
                    message by any male who needs to
                    help me do this —

St. Margaret Mary was a woman

Promises of Our Lord to those devoted to His Sacred Heart given to St. Margaret Mary:

I will give them all the graces necessary in their state of life.

I will establish peace in their homes.

I will comfort them in all their afflictions.

I will be their refuge during life and above all in death.

I will bestow a large blessing on all their undertakings.

Sinners shall find in My Heart the source and the infinite ocean of mercy.

Tepid souls shall grow fervent.

Fervent souls shall quickly mount to high perfection.

I will bless every place where a picture of My Heart shall be set up and honored.

I will give to priests the gift of touching the most hardened hearts.

Those who promote this devotion shall have their names written in My Heart, never to be blotted out.

I promise you in the excessive mercy of My Heart that My all-powerful love will grant to all those who communicate on the first Friday in nine consecutive months the grace of final penitence; they shall not die in My disgrace nor without receiving their sacraments; My divine Heart shall be their safe refuge in this last moment.

The Holy Spirit

Jesus: "My beloved friend, tell My people to pray daily to the Holy Spirit. They are to pray for an increase in His gifts. My people must realize that the Holy Spirit comes to transform them. The Spirit desires to transform you more and more according to My image. Those who are docile to His touch become increasingly shaped in My likeness. He performs this marvel within Mary's Immaculate Heart. The more one dwells in My Mother's Heart, the more active are the workings of the Spirit. The Spirit leads Mary to place you within My own Heart. In both Our Hearts, then, your transformation continues. The more you are formed after My own Heart, the more I lead you to the bosom of My Father. Tell My people all this. Tell them to pray daily for a greater appreciation of these wondrous gifts. I am Lord and Master. All who come to My Heart will be on fire to receive the gifts of the Spirit in ever greater measure! I love and bless My people!"

Reflection: The Holy Spirit is given to us to fashion us ever more according to the likeness of Jesus. And the more we are like Jesus, the more Jesus leads us to the Father. Do we, each day, pray to the Holy Spirit to be more open to His transforming influence? Do we strive each day to grow in union with Mary? The greater our union with our Mother, the spouse of the Holy Spirit, the greater is the transforming action of the Holy Spirit within us.

Now, the snake was the most subtle of all the wild animals that Yahweh God had made. It asked the woman, 'Did God really say you were not to eat from any of the trees in the garden?' The woman answered the snake, 'We may eat the fruit of the trees in the garden. But of the fruit of the tree in the middle of the garden God said, "You must not eat it, nor touch it, under pain of death." ' Then the snake said to the woman, 'No! You will not die! God knows in fact that the day you eat it your eyes will be opened and you will be like gods, knowing good from evil.' The woman saw that the tree was good to eat and pleasing to the eye, and that it was enticing for the wisdom that it could give. So she took some of its fruit and ate it. She also gave some to her husband who was with her, and he ate it. Then the eyes of both of them were opened and they realised that they were naked. So they sewed fig-leaves together to make themselves loin-cloths.

The man named his wife 'Eve' because she was the mother of all those who live. Yahweh God made tunics of skins for the man and his wife and clothed them. Then Yahweh God said, 'Now that the man has become like one of us in knowing good from evil, he must not be allowed to reach out his hand and pick from the tree of life too, and eat and live for ever!' So Yahweh God expelled him from the garden of Eden, to till the soil from which he had been taken. He banished the man, and in front of the garden of Eden he posted the great winged creatures and the fiery flashing sword, to guard the way to the tree of life.

                    is the Spiritual Mother. The
                    Church is to bear fruit for the Kingdom.
                    It is beautiful that Mary is a
                    Spiritual Mother.
