The Novena Rosary
Mysteries |
Pray for special intentions.
Prayer for Grace for our Country
Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

Joyful Mysteries
The Annunciation
1. See Mary and envision you are watching when Gabriel appeared to her. You see Mary looking up, there is much light, you see Mary talking.
2. Mary was conceived without sin. God the Father chose Mary. Mary is pure gift, chosen to carry Jesus in her womb.
3. Mary said "Yes". Mary conceived the child Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit.
4. Jesus is a Divine Person with 2 Natures: Divine and human.
5. What love God has for us to come into the world and for Jesus, the second Person of the Blessed Trinity to take flesh.
6. Mary is the perfect handmaid of the Lord.
7. The angel told Mary to not be afraid. God tells us to not be afraid in our lives, He is with us now as we try to go through the joys and sufferings of life.
8. The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost live in the graced, baptized soul. God wants to be so close to us, one with us, now in our lives. Don't be afraid, some sorrows can be very great sorrows. I think of Jesus at the Last Supper how He did what He was sent to do and Judas was at table about to betray Jesus with a kiss. Jesus did what He was supposed to at the last Supper even though He was about to go through the bitter passion and His death. Jesus was one with the Father. Jesus knew the Father's love, Jesus lived the Father's will.
Jesus was under such stress in the Garden seeing all men's sins He sweat blood.
The angel appeared to comfort Him.
The angels are with us too, Gabriel appeared to Mary and told her to not be afraid. We are never alone!!!
9. Mary said "Yes", she loved the Father's will. God is near to those who turn to Him in faith.
10. Jesus' promise: "I will be with you, forever more, trust in Me and obey the Father's will in love."
Jesus: Trust in My love,
Trust in My Sacred Heart.I am with you. Trust in God.
The Visitation
1. Jesus: Trust in Me. Trust in My Sacred Heart. Put yourselves and those you love and care about in Mary's Immaculate Heart and My Sacred Heart. Do not fear, I am with you, now.
2. Mary made haste and went to visit her cousin Elizabeth. The babe in Elizabeth's womb leapt for joy at the sight of Mary and Jesus in her womb. God is a God of miracles. Do not be afraid.
3. Elizabeth conceived at such an old age and John the Baptist came at the perfect time. John the Baptist was to prepare the way for Jesus. John was His cousin. He came when he was supposed to, and Elizabeth was very old.
4. God has a Plan. The Holy Spirit filled Mary and she cried out the Magnificat.
5. Mary learned surrender. Father Carter always said of Mary, if God asked her to carry a pebble or a boulder, she did God's will.
6. Elizabeth could have been afraid, but she did what God asked. John's name had to be John. God has a plan for all our lives.
7. Mary was told by the angel of Elizabeth's pregnancy. Mary stayed with Elizabeth about 3 months.
8. Sing song: Be Not Afraid
9. Sing: A Song from Jesus
10. Praise God even in hardship. Ask for His help and Praise Him. Trust Him. Know His presence with you now.
The Birth of Jesus
1. Mary went on a donkey when she was about to have a baby. Jesus was to be born in Bethlehem, so Joseph and Mary went there at this hard time for her to travel - On a donkey.
2. Mary must have struggled in her condition, but she had to do what she was supposed to anyway, despite the struggle she was suffering in her condition.
3. When they got there, Mary's time had come. God wanted this to happen this way. There was no room for them in the Inn.
4. They found a stable where there were sheep and cows and a manger. Jesus was born in the stable and they laid Him in a manger. Mary brought her baby into this set up. The angel told her to, not be afraid.
5. Are we afraid many times? Mary and Joseph sure could have been enveloped in fear, but it was the Father's Plan, They obeyed the heavenly Father's will in love, and they trusted God to operate by His Plan despite how hard it was.
6. Sing: What Child is This
7. Do you think Joseph thought Jesus would be born in a stable? There were sorrows and joys. Jesus was born the Savior of the world.
8. Are you afraid now because of some suffering in your life, it can be a suffering of enormous suffering, but God tells us that when we turn to Him - He is there helping us.
Pope John Paul II said "Totus tutus". Be not afraid Jesus says to us, Be not afraid.
9. Look at all they had to suffer in Poland during World War II, and Pope John Paul II said be not afraid.
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, we place our trust in Thee, today and always, Jesus says "I will be with you, that is My promise, turn to Me."
10. See the soft fallen snow, God gives us a blanket of soft white snow to help us see beauty, He gives us the ocean with all its waves and beautiful colors, even when there is suffering in the world. Trust in God!!!!!
The Presentation in the Temple
1. Mary taught us surrender, Mary enjoyed many joys, but she endured much suffering doing God's will. When she got to the Temple Simeon told Mary and Jesus of the sufferings to come.
2. Sing: Little Baby Hands and Feet
3. And Simeon said," A sword too will pierce your heart, oh Mary."
4. Mary endured many sufferings in their life with Jesus. Jesus showed us that suffering can bring new life. That suffering entered the world when Eve sinned and suffering can help us learn and purify us and help us get to heaven, some day.
5. Jesus: Trust in Me. Turn yourself over to Me. Put yourself in My Heart. I love you so much, I am here with you now.
6. Come to me Lord and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Surrender, Father Carter said. Our lives can be surrendering many times as we let go to Him in hard suffering. Look at the 7 Sorrows of Mary.
7. Mary really did have sufferings invisible to her Immaculate Heart in the life of Jesus, her Son.
8. Do not be afraid the Angel Gabriel said to Mary.
9. Luke 2: 34-35
Simeon blessed them and said to Mary his mother, ‘Look, he is destined for the fall and for the rise of many in Israel, destined to be a sign that is opposed—and a sword will pierce your soul too — so that the secret thoughts of many may be laid bare.'
10. Death/Resurrection - Jesus teaches us there is life after death, He came back after the bitter crucifixion and death on the cross. Jesus appeared to them in His glorified Body.
The Finding of Jesus in the Temple
1. Luke 2: 41-52
Every year his parents used to go to Jerusalem for the feast of the Passover. When he was twelve years old, they went up for the feast as usual. When the days of the feast were over and they set off home, the boy Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem without his parents knowing it. They assumed he was somewhere in the party, and it was only after a day’s journey that they went to look for him among their relations and acquaintances. When they failed to find him they went back to Jerusalem looking for him everywhere.
It happened that, three days later, they found him in the Temple, sitting among the teachers, listening to them, and asking them questions; and all those who heard him were astounded at his intelligence and his replies. They were overcome when they saw him, and his mother said to him, ‘My child, why have you done this to us? See how worried your father and I have been, looking for you.’ He replied, ‘Why were you looking for me? Did you not know that I must be in my Father’s house?’ But they did not understand what he meant. He went down with them then and came to Nazareth and lived under their authority. His mother stored up all these things in her heart. And Jesus increased in wisdom, in stature, and in favour with God and with people.
2. We are always learning in everything we are made to suffer in our lives. Jesus teaches us things in the everyday happenings in our lives.
3. Jesus lived the quiet life from age 12 to 30, He shows us the importance of everyday, ordinary events in our lives and how He teaches us many things when we are quiet.
4. Think of Mary and Joseph and what it was like for them when they realized that the Child Jesus had been left behind.
They returned to find Jesus. Their hearts were filled with sorrow.5. Mary is our Mother. God is our Father. Think of how many children today are lost. They do not know their heavenly Father and Mother.
6. We were created to know, love, and serve God.
Jesus wants us to have a love affair with Him.7. How many children are lost today? They do not even know that they are lost.
8. We should pray for all of our brothers and sisters in the human family everyday.
Think of how it would be to live without God.9. Many of Mary's children today are living without God and they are living in darkness.
10. Jesus and Mary live within us. When we interact with others, the light within us shines to the rest of the world.
From Pre-Blue Book II
August 30, 1993 Before Mass (excerpt)
Jesus: ...I am the Alpha and the Omega. I am that for which you were created, any other order is out of order. Come to Me first and I will make your work light. All else is easy when I am guiding you. You walk a road in which I am your personal guide and you will not falter though the worst goes before you. Play for My honor, My child, I love you.
November 13, 1993 Saturday
Be One With Me in a Crowd
Jesus: You have come and I desire to fill you. Come and open yourself so I can do My work in you. Be close with Me in this crowd and let Me possess you: let Me fill your soul. Die to yourself and let Me live in your soul. I am the same Jesus. Will you come and receive all I give? I surround you now. Focus on Me and forgive yourself for being irritable and tired. You are not perfect, little one, you are human and you give in to irritations. Be patient with your children and listen with My Heart. This world confuses your children and you are not very patient with them. Be an example of My love to them.
I am Jesus, Son of God and I long to be with you here. I missed your time this morning. Your bed time is getting very bad. Do not talk on the phone after 11:00 for any reason. Satan wants you tired. Focus on teaching your children, the letters I give you will work on others: they must read them. You do not have to correct them. It is their job to love Me and want to serve Me and to change their evil ways. You provide the seeds. You must cast all this distraction out and focus on Me. Calm yourself and be alone with Me. You are angered and irritable because of satan and being tired. You must focus on Me and be filled by Me now. Calm yourself; you will drive home and be fed if you focus on Me now! Come to Me and feel My closeness to you. I am attentive to your every need. Put your trust in Me.
Say: Jesus I put my trust in You.
R. Dear Jesus, My Lord and My God You are my all.
Jesus: Come to Me and let this be an experience for your children.
R. Immaculate Heart of Mary, I want to dwell in you. You are so beautiful. Thank You Lord for letting her come. Oh, You are so good to us. Jesus, Jesus, come unto us!
Jesus: I am the way, the truth and the life. You are at unrest in your heart. Let go of yourself, your tiredness, and get in touch with your soul. Be one with Me in a crowd; feel Me touch your soul, reach with your soul. Close your eyes: let Me possess your soul. I am here. I am here with you. I am here with you. Close your eyes and block out all around you, feel Me here with you! Know My presence in your heart. I want to live and dwell in you.
I am with you. Directions I give you; you have the directions I give to you. Listen and follow. I am Jesus. I am the way, the truth and the life.

Guiding Light homily series — Reflect on the Word — Cycle B The Word leaves an impression on our souls. In my thoughts and reflections are born a more tangible understanding of these eternal concepts presented in the Gospels and the readings. Anyone can read a sentence, but not anyone can absorb it's true meaning. Truth, in this day and age, is almost a matter of opinion or individual entitlement. We believe that Christ's truth is our Roman Catholic Church. We, as priests, champion it's teachings; we are ambassadors for the Pope and Christ to those faces looking at us. We are the light by which our congregation reads to reflect upon real truth and we do it hand in hand. $10 |
Guiding Light homily series — Steadfast to the Son — Cycle A The sunflower is a great example of how we should be steadfastly guided by light. What a powerful thought that this exceptional plant is not stuck in one pose day in and day out, yet adaptable and magnetized to the sun. We feel the same about our Son. Our heads turns to face Christ as each day presents its challenges to find light. We join together like plants in a field and soak up the Son through the pulpit. We are a warm circle of strength using the wind of our breath to carry our priests' words, Christ's words, to new rich soil. $10 |
Guiding Light — Focusing on the Word — Cycle B At times we may feel that our path to Christ is a bit "out of focus". Like the disciples in the Book of Mark, this ordinary life clouds our vision of Christ's Divinity. We may doubt the practicality or possibility of applying His teachings and example to our modern life. Cycle B's homilies are a "guiding light" to help us realize Jesus' Messianic greatness and His promise of better things to come. $10 |
Guiding Light — Feed My Soul — Cycle C In a world rapidly advancing and encouraging personal gain, we are faced with modern problems. There is a challenge to find time in our busy schedules for Sunday Mass or a family meal. We are able to research, shop, bank and even work without hearing one human voice. It is no wonder that we may often feel disconnected and famished at our week's end. In Fr. Joe's third book of homilies from Cycle C, we are reminded of the charity that Christ intended us to show each other. We have a calling to turn the other cheek and be the Good Samaritan to others. We are rewarded with the Father's kingdom and love when we are not worthy. We are not left alone or hungry. $10 |
