Today's Readings
Joel 2: 12-18
'But now — declares Yahweh —
come back to me with all your heart,
fasting, weeping, mourning.'
Tear your hearts and not your clothes,
and come back to Yahweh your God,
for he is gracious and compassionate,
slow to anger, rich in faithful love,
and he relents about inflicting disaster.
Who knows if he will not come back,
relent
and leave a blessing behind him,
a cereal offering and a libation
to be presented to Yahweh your God?Blow the ram's-horn in Zion!
Order a fast,
proclaim a solemn assembly,
call the people together,
summon the community,
assemble the elders,

even infants at the breast!
Call the bridegroom from his bedroom

A prayer of contrition
For I am well aware of my offences,
my sin is constantly in mind.
Against you, you alone, I have sinned,
I have done what you see to be wrong,that you may show your saving justice when you pass sentence,
and your victory may appear when you give judgement,
remember, I was born guilty,
a sinner from the moment of conception.But you delight in sincerity of heart,
and in secret you teach me wisdom.Give me back the joy of your salvation,
sustain in me a generous spirit.
I shall teach the wicked your paths,
and sinners will return to you.Deliver me from bloodshed, God, God of my salvation,
and my tongue will acclaim your saving justice.Sacrifice to God is a broken spirit,

Matthew 6: 1-6, 16-18

In truth I tell you, they have had their reward. But when you give alms, your left hand must not know what your right is doing; your almsgiving must be secret, and your Father who sees all that is done in secret will reward you. 'And when you pray, do not imitate the hypocrites: they love to say their prayers standing up in the synagogues and at the street corners for people to see them. 'When you are fasting, do not put on a gloomy look as the hypocrites do: they go about looking unsightly to let people know they are fasting. In truth I tell you, they have had their reward. But when you fast, put scent on your head and wash your face, so that no one will know you are fasting except your Father who sees all that is done in secret; and your Father who sees all that is done in secret will reward you.
Jesus: I give you this Movement
to win – to help in the
renewal of the Church
and the world, but you must
want to die to your dysfunctional
ways and grow in the life
and resurrection.
R. White is the winter here and it
is time for Ash Wednesday again.
We wish to grow in this Lent to
a purity, so at Easter we can see
the victory of being more and more
one in Love with God and one
another.
Docility is the key, to knowing
our place under God. God is over
and we are under. We can have
intentions, but we can live a
more holy life by using the
Blue Book Messages.
Jesus has asked us to say the
prayers He gave us and use the
messages and rosary meditations
in our lives. Another key He has given
is the writing of our love letter to
Jesus every day and opening the
Blue Book and reading for 10 minutes.
Every morning before we put our
feet on the ground to ask the Holy Spirit
to come and fill us.
Dear Holy Spirit please come and fill
us today. We offer all we do to the
Father, in union with Jesus in the
Holy Sacrifice
of the Mass, in the Holy Spirit
with all the angels and saints and the souls
in purgatory through the powerful
intercession of Mary, the Lady of
Clearwater.
Come to me Lord and possess my
soul. Come into my heart and
permeate my soul.
We offer all our prayers for the
priests, the Church and the world.
We offer all our prayers for Sheila's
list – funds and grace. We offer
all our prayers for those who have
asked us to pray for them and
we promised to pray for and our
families, and a few special intentions.
We pray fervently for the funds for
Fr. Joe's homily book by February 27th.

A Prayer for Intimacy with the Lamb, the Bridegroom of the Soul
Oh Lamb of God, Who take away the sins of the world, come and act on my soul most intimately. I surrender myself, as I ask for the grace to let go, to just be as I exist in You and You act most intimately on my soul. You are the Initiator. I am the soul waiting Your favors as You act in me. I love You. I adore You. I worship You. Come and possess my soul with Your Divine Grace, as I experience You most intimately.
R. Jesus has asked us to do the
Holy Spirit Novena and Shepherds of Christ
prayers daily – Also we can pray
hourly the Infant of Prague
Novena.
Novena to the Infant of Prague
O Jesus, who said, "Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened to you," through the intercession of Mary, Your most holy Mother, I knock, I seek, I ask that my prayer be granted.
O Jesus, who said, "All that you ask of the Father in My Name He will grant you," through the intercession of Mary, Your most holy Mother, I humbly and urgently ask Your Father in Your Name that my prayer be granted.O Jesus, who said, "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My word shall not pass," through the intercession of Mary, Your most holy Mother, I feel confident that my prayer will be granted.
R. Jesus has asked people to pray
on the 5ths and 13ths – If a person
can come by the Centers, He has
promised great grace when we
pray there together or a person
can pray with us on the Shepherds of
Christ radio.
We will pray 8 days a month
in retreat and the two centers
pray nightly from about 6:20 –
8:20 live on the radio. The Eucharist
is exposed 24 hours in China
and people can come and
pray in Eucharistic Adoration –
very powerful or help with
the priestly mailing in China.
Lent can be a time of building
ourselves spiritually. Doing
what Jesus has asked for can
help the whole world and the
Church.
Begin positive about our
regiment of prayer in Lent –
our union with Jesus, being
more loving to Him and to
others. Praying hourly –
Being positive in our attitude
of doing God's will.
Jesus is our Savior – no person
can save us – Jesus hears our
prayers.
Thank You Lord, we join
together – we are to be united –
You asked us to love one another –
We make this prayer in Jesus'
name.
Dear God outpour Your
love and grace and blessings on us.
Touch us with Your love and
Your peace, Lord.
Dear God You are the God of
creation – help us to be holy
as You want us to be,
help us to live as children
of our heavenly Father – loving
and doing His will.
We offer our lives as a
sacrifice to God – living as
God's children – in obedience
to the Father's will –
Lifting up our hearts and being
an example of this before God.
God is light. God is love –
We were created in the image
and likeness of God –
Mary said:
My soul proclaims the
greatness of the Lord and my
spirit rejoices in God my Savior.
R. The Mass is the sacrifice
of Calvary, sacramentally made
present. God gives us the Mass,
the sacraments, the font of
His life, Jesus gave us His
Body and Blood to feed this life.
We pray the Our Father as
Jesus taught us to pray –
calling God, Our Father,
we are special.
Jesus takes away the sins
of the world –
We are not worthy to receive
Him –
Dear God cloth us in light –
lead us from the darkness
Bath us in Your marvelous
light –
God Your love is constant –
You are love –
We want to be children
of the light – God give us
Your gifts for all our
needs –
Children in dysfunctional homes
learned how to try to control
things around them so they could
survive the dysfunction they
were faced with.
A person may not want to change
and give up these survival tactics
when they move on in life and
things are different now and
they do not need them.
Bad habits of negative
thinking, controlling, being
addicted to attention, chaos
could have been a way of life.
Now a person instead of
changing and living in peace –
makes the same scenario to act
the way that things are familiar
to them. Some make drama,
negative behavior, seeking
attention, playing others so they
are the victim and innocent others
are seen as responsible for their
continued victimhood.
Lent is a time to seek
purity in heart and soul – to
die to the bad habits and to grow
in the life of virtue.
Death / Resurrection
Just because you have practiced
a bad habit of dealing with others,
why are you reluctant to give
it up when it is hurting
oneself and others in our lives
and opposed to God's will.
A person can fill their minds
where they have to have a problem
and are making them to see
darkness. The devil can work
in this mind - racing ways in
a man who keeps making drama or
seeking attention for the sake of
disturbing what is to take place –
rather than helping and going along,
the person is addicted to dividing
and working against others in
harmony and do what God wants
done in unity.
A person can keep doing the
same destructive patterned behavior
because it is familiar, even
invite this behavior every time
they are with others to have
control of the situation – they may
be so addicted to control – they
can't stand not being in control.
So they make events to put them in
control – this blocks out new
pain because they have too much
pain they never dealt with.
They want to relive their past
of a dysfunctional home –
keeping themselves in crisis.
Jesus: The mind is a gift to be used
for the building of My Kingdom,
for loving God and others as
yourselves. You are to live
in the moment – to live –
to enjoy – not to hug the
past misery so you can't
really let go to what is going on –
Staying stuck in not living, what
is going on can be so addictive
to a person – they are always –
on guard – not wanting to enjoy
things as they really are and if
someone else is a positive person –
they can do all they can to bring
the situation to their own level
of negativity, to make the environment
they feel comfortable with –
Negativity.
I am a God of miracles. I
am God, I bring comfort and
love and peace and joy.
Some are not happy until
they bring down the house and
this is not happiness, it is
seeking joy in hurting others,
it is very, very displeasing to
My Father – who brings you so
many gifts and love and real
joy in living according to His Plan.
To be negative all the time is
a choice a person has made and
is habitual. They will try to
force it on others – even to the
point of punishment to inflict
their environment on others
so they can feel comfortable in their
dysfunction.
The games people play to hold
onto their destructive behavior
and even use My gifts as
bate to try to get their sordid
behavior to continue.
Some wear masks to hide
how really dark they are inside.
Around some people they wear
a mask of false joy – acting
loving, but around others they
use to play out their darkness
against the Father's will to
remain in control and act-out
what they have not even
tried to change in
themselves, that needs changing
because it is not holy or likened
to Me –
Childhood defenses were learned
by some because they were hurt
so in adulthood they play the
same games with those they
can use in their lives and get
away with it.
It is pretty straight forward
what I am asking you to do in
this Movement. Those addicted
to this negative, controlling
behavior have used games that
satan uses to block what I ask for.
This is dysfunctional and those
coming are not seeing the Beauty
of My gift, but the dysfunction
of those who are negative and
using the prayer services for
their own dysfunction.
I am calling people to come
and to pray in one mind and
one heart – to pray for the
Shepherds of Christ intentions and
for the Church, the world and the
priests.
Defenses are learned as a child as
ways of surviving attacks in
dysfunctional homes.
Negative ways of thinking,
wearing masks, not trusting
anyone are ways the devil
uses to create not an atmosphere
of love, but an unattractive
atmosphere of control and
selfishness.
I want centers of warmth
and love and working in
unity to build the family I
have called to spread the
Priestly writing and the prayer chapters,
the Blue Books, the Rosary Books,
the Mass Books, the Rosary and
consecration to the schools –
Defenses – what defenses have
you developed to survive a dysfunctional
home and refuse to let go of?
What have you developed because
of fear of abandonment, rejection,
low self-esteem and bring
to your life in My Movement
of unpredictability so you
can survive a situation that
no longer exists, but you make
to continue your patterned
destructive behavior?
These defenses are or can be
friends. A person feels comfortable
when they bring down the house
because they are living their
dysfunction.
These dysfunctions made life
chaotic and divided, and
stopping anyone from wanting
to be there.
Couple this with the no
correction, no direction policy
and using things needed to
force their behavior and what
is left is darkness, no community,
no growth. To be attached to
defenses of playing games,
not trusting, unpredictable
behavior is what stops
yourself from being more
and more in My image and
likeness. You distance
yourselves from Me. Happiness,
real happiness is in
doing the Father's will, in love.
The devil presses on a person
in dysfunction until they go
further and further into darkness if
they give in. You do not stay the
same in the spiritual life.
Some of these defenses people
use to force negative behavior
have been with them so long
they are part of their identity –
being sad, being a victim,
seeking attention at the most
improper times in chaos,
drama. The person so
wrapped up in this becomes
more and more negative
and it is harder and harder
to give at all – while
they learn greater and greater
means of dysfunction and control.
The desire to keep the defenses
becomes so veiled the person can
use measures of passive-aggressive
masked behavior to keep them
and use them in community.
The straight forward way of
just doing what is asked for
under authority with a pure
heart is not possible in
situations where this deterioration
of behavior is growing in
"fever-pitch" –
I say - who can endure a man
holding a position and forcing
his dysfunction on others –
Who can endure, if a man has
the position of authority and
cannot be removed? Do you
see this in politics, in positions
where men cannot be removed?
A person who had child-hood
pain will fight to continue
their survival tactics from
the dysfunctional home. They
can shut down their
feelings to
not experience pain and have
had their feelings shut down for
most of their life.
To be healed you must recognize
these negative behavior patterns and
seek healing. Pride keeps a person
stuck. In order to have convents
and communities to grow – there
must be means of growing in
the Christ-life and life in the Holy Spirit
and wanting to die to the dysfunctional
ways that were survival tactics –
not fight to bring the dysfunction to
the new house. Different house –
same dysfunctional dance.
I give you My program in the
Shepherds of Christ for renewal of the
Church and the world, for renewal of
the families.
