New Cycle B - Guiding Light Homily Book

Dear Friends,

I give my heart to Jesus and Mary with you in love.

Well thank God we are finally able to resume the Priestly Mailing of Fr. Joe's last homily book.

This was delayed for almost 2 months and
God really wants this to reach our beloved priests.

That means we send out at least 35,000 of Fr. Joe's Homily books yearly to priests and hierarchy. 
This is a weekly Newsletter, Jesus says.
If a priest preaches to  parishioners every weekend
they could reach so many people with the focus on the Word of Fr Joe's insights and knowledge he offers-the history of the scriptures and the Eucharist. 

There are so many priests in New York this is the next mailing.
We will need $2,000 for the postage if we can mail it by next Monday.

                R. Come to me Lord and Possess my Soul –

                    When we see the Eucharist exposed, we
                should be so happy because it is such
                a gift –

                    Being with friends we love should
                bring us happiness or pleasure because
                we love them and we are glad to be
                with them.

                    When we see those we love, we have
                the pleasure in sight.

                    Jesus told me to put pictures in the
                daily message long ago. I wanted to paint
                a picture that was so beautiful to give us
                the pleasure of seeing Mary, Jesus, the
                China Church, the image in Florida,
                the beauty God created, the oceans, rivers,
                flowers.

                    Fr. Carter loved people so much. When
                he was there he saw them and smiled and
                hugged them. He was genuinely happy to
                see them – the sense of sight and he
                genuinely hugged everybody, the sense
                of touch –

                    He loved everybody – He was sharing
                the goodness in His Heart with all of
                us. He loved deeply. This warmth spread
                to people who came to Morrow, the
                Holy Spirit Center prayer meetings.
                Where ever he was Fr. Carter was happy
                to see them (seeing pleasure) and happy
                to hug them (touching pleasure.)

                    When we drove to China - he loved to
                go a way we could see the nature part
                and watch the changing seasons. He
                loved the pleasures of sight. Driving
                along a river, autumn leaves,
                snow covered trees,, the green leaves
                of summer –

                Pleasure by sight and by touch. I remember
                if I didn't hug people at the prayer services,
                I would feel pain in my heart because I
                was so happy to see them and I just
                liked to tell them with an embrace or
                hug.

                    Jesus gave me great gifts in letting me
                see apparitions of Himself and Mary –
                I prayed the rosary every night at the Holy Spirit
                Center and Mary would appear so very beautiful
                in light as we prayed.

                    Sight and touch are sense pleasures.
                When we see we have knowledge and that
                gives us pleasures in our mind. They bring
                delight to the soul.

                    Being with our friends can bring us
                great pleasure. Seeing all together –
                praying together before the Blessed Sacrament,
                at Mass with others – seeing the priest
                as he celebrates Mass –

                So the seeing can bring pleasure, but the
                pleasure of love in our heart is
                unseen. I know Jesus is truly present
                in the Eucharist –

                    I know this in my heart. I know presence
                of God – that gives me great happiness.

                    When I receive the Eucharist and Precious
                Blood that gives me great pleasure and
                happiness. I love to be with people
                and go to Mass and to receive Jesus –
                to be in prayer, to sing to Him
                and praise Him.

                    Jesus has told me all these years
                how much He wants us together and
                praying and praising God from China
                and from Florida –

                    What a gift that God loves us so
                much – He wants us to sing and to
                praise Him – to be with Him – to sing
                songs to Him – to communicate with
                Him – Love deep in our heart for God,
                for Our Creator. Love given to God the Father,
                the Son and the Holy Spirit is such
                a pleasure for me at Mass.

                    To sing Glory and Praise to Our God and
                to purely love Him and give love
                with all our hearts –

                Loving God and Loving others as the
                commandments tell us –
   

                R. When we receive good – like being
                before the Eucharist – good at Mass –
                good feeling being with those we love –
                We feel good inside and we grow in
                love. God created us to love –
                Heaven will be in loving.

                    The devil wants us to shut down,
                be untrustworthy of things, suspicious,
                not love.

                    China and Florida, prayer, Masses
                are so good and bring me so much
                pleasure to just be there. I am
                so grateful to God for China and Florida –
                I love to be in prayer with the people
                I love and give thanks to God. I
                have seen Mary and Jesus and even
                when They don't appear, I have
                lived knowing God's presence in
                the Eucharist –

                    What a gift He gives us because
                He loves us so much.

                    We grow by the enjoyment
                of good – we see love – We are
                with others we love –

                Love is what God wants of us.
                Love makes us grow, if we are
                loving as God wants us to love
                we are growing spiritually in God.

                God is love –
                God created us in His image and likeness –
                God created us to love –

                    Only the vision of God will satisfy
                us. We were created for this to seek and
                to know God more and more.

                    When we try to fill ourselves with
                pleasures not according to God's will –
                we can have instantaneous pleasures,
                but it is not the lasting pleasure –
                God created us and fixed us that only
                God will, in the end, fill that craving
                in our soul.

                    God is what makes us grow. The
                real joy is in Him. In Him is absolute
                truth.

                    People indulging in food and sex
                to excess, drugs can use these things
                that they block the mind – in the
                end – excess use of these hurts the
                body and stops us from using our
                time to know God, to love God, to
                spend our time in loving God and
                others.

                    Satan wants man to be selfish,
                closed-in, seek sense pleasures
                that are momentary and lead him
                away from growth in God.

                    The final goal of man is to
                lead him in right reasoning to
                the vision of God.

                    If sense pleasures are not God's
                will – not moral – they can turn them
                away from God and be - not good,
                but evil.

                    The greatest gift we seek is to
                be possessed by God in the
                beatific vision.

                    We grow in that desire to love deeply
                in our hearts, to love the seen and
                unseen – To know God deeply –
                To know the presence of God in
                our graced, baptized soul –
                To know God living in us – the
                unseen and for this to be such a
                reality to us –

                When we see the beautiful babies
                God created, when we see things
                that are so beautiful created by
                God – like a happy family – the
                love of husband and wife and children –
                the love of men united in a religious
                community – we see God in this
                union and this union is reflecting
                that love from God – we see
                love in unity –

                    We need to pray for this love and
                unity in families and in the Church and
                in communities and in countries –
                that men are seeking unity in God –
                that men are a reflection of God. 

    ... In reference to Christianity, God himself is the ultimate mystery. Radically, God is completely other and transcendent, hidden from man in his inner life, unless he chooses to reveal himself. Let us briefly look at this inner life of God.

    The Father, in a perfect act of self-expression, in a perfect act of knowing, generates his son. The Son, the Word, is, then, the immanent expression of God's fullness, the reflection of the Father. Likewise, from all eternity, the Father and the Son bring forth the Holy Spirit in a perfect act of loving.

    At the destined moment in human history, God's self-expression, the Word, immersed himself into man's world. God's inner self-expression now had also become God's outer self-expression. Consequently, the mystery of God becomes the mystery of Christ. In Christ, God tells us about himself, about his inner life, about his plan of creation and redemption. He tells us how Father, Son, and Holy Spirit desire to dwell within us in the most intimate fashion, how they wish to share with us their own life through grace. All this he has accomplished and does accomplish through Christ.

                R. Man, the Church, the world is
                in the state of becoming. They are
                to become Christic – they are to be
                more and more in the image of God.

                    Jesus came to teach us – He
                gives us lessons in the Parables –
                He taught us in the Sermon on the Mount –

                God is all good –
                Justice and truth will kiss –

                Parables: Fig tree, Good Samaritan,
                Wedding Feast, Talents, Laborers,
                Lost Sheep, Lost Coin, Wine Cloth,
                Field of great price, Prodigal Son,
                Seed on good ground, 10 Virgins,
                2 Sons, Unjust Steward and
                more –

                Jesus taught us about love – He taught
                us in His love for His family, His
                Mother, the Apostles.

                R. Jesus taught us about Justice and good
                    in these parables –

                Jesus taught us about the vision
                    of God –

                We want our hearts to be pure –
                    like Mary –

                We want what is inside to be so
                    beautiful with love and goodness –
                    We want virtues in us –
                    Good habits –
                    being filled with good things –

                I think the Garden is a good example –
                    in the Garden can be fruit –
                    good for eating and helping
                    our bodies –
                    in the garden can be beauty –

                And in the Garden can be big weeds –
                    that stink and take over –
                    ugly to look at –

                Our hearts are like this –

                We need to ask God to come and dwell
                    deeply in our hearts –
                    to drop the trap door of
                    resentment and anger and lies
                    and jealousy and slothfulness,
                    and lustfulness and gluttony and
                    ask God to increase in our graced
                    baptized soul – the virtues of faith,
                    hope and love. And we want all the
                    other virtues in us.

                We pray for the gifts of the Holy Spirit –

                We want to be filled with light and
                    love and peace and growing –

                In the well cared Garden of our
                    hearts – God cares for us –
                    He corrects our faults by
                    spiritual guides – we grow
                    in loving each other –
                    we are open to drop that trap door
                    of anger, unforgiveness, our faults
                    so our hearts are
                    BEAUTIFUL
                    Full of LIGHT

                    Growing –

                    Loving –

                Being more and more the way God intended
                    us to be – !

                Happiness is found in
                    Living According to God's
                        will in love –
