Consecration Prayer for Peace

I consecrate Russia and the Ukraine to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

I further consecrate the priests, the Church and the world to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary.

I do this in the name of Jesus in as far as I am able, united to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, praying to the Father, in the Holy Spirit, with all the angels and saints and the souls in purgatory through the powerful intercession of Mary, Queen of Peace. Amen.

I further consecrate myself, all members of my family and ask the Holy Spirit to fill us. I spread the Blood of Jesus on all above, I cast the devil into hell away from all of us and consecrate all persons, in as far as I am able,  to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart.

Prayer for Grace for Election and our Country

Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

                    Morning Offering

    Dear Father,
I offer up all I do all day united to Jesus
in the Mass, in the Holy Spirit, through
the powerful intercession of Mary, our
spiritual Mother, with all the angels and
saints, and the souls in purgatory, for
the priest, the Church, and the world.

We love You God so much.
We thank You and adore You and
petition You for our needs. Amen.

R. What the world needs now is
love, sweet love.

God is love.

Dear God
What the world needs now is
love.
Anger and hatred is in the hearts
of men that attack other men.

God is love.
Dear God please help us to love.
Help us to bring love to teach
our children, God’s ways of love.

Dear God the Holy Spirit, come
now and bring the fire of Your
love to the earth.
The Movement, Shepherds of Christ,
is to spread the consecration of the
Two Hearts of greatest love to the
Church and the world.
Until we spread this love we will
not have peace, as long as men
hide darkness that is in their
hearts from themselves, they will
continue to act in violence toward
others.

Help us spread this devotion of
the Two Hearts to the Church
and the world.
Please help us.

We see wars and division, hatred
in some in salvation history.
Jesus came with a kind and
generous heart.
Jesus is the New Adam.
Mary is the New Eve.
Jesus and Mary’s Hearts are the
Hearts of greatest love.
God told Fr. Carter to spread this
devotion to the Two Hearts.

Words of Jesus to Members of Shepherds of Christ Associates:

"My beloved priest-companion, I intend to use the priestly newsletter, Shepherds of Christ, and the movement, Shepherds of Christ Associates, in a powerful way for the renewal of My Church and the world.

"I will use the newsletter and the chapters of Shepherds of Christ Associates as a powerful instrument for spreading devotion to My Heart and My Mother's Heart.

"I am calling many to become members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. To all of them I will give great blessings. I will use them as instruments to help bring about the triumph of the Immaculate Heart and the reign of My Sacred Heart. I will give great graces to the members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. I will call them to be deeply united to My Heart and to Mary's Heart as I lead them ever closer to My Father in the Holy Spirit."

- Message from Jesus to Father Edward J. Carter, S.J., Founder, as given on July 31, 1994,

R. Christ is light and in Him is no darkness

 John 19: 25-17

Near the cross of Jesus stood his mother and his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary of Magdala. Seeing his mother and the disciple whom he loved standing near her, Jesus said to his mother, 'Woman, this is your son.' Then to the disciple he said, 'This is your mother.' And from that hour the disciple took her into his home."

R. The essence of Motherhood.

Mary is Mother by our side.

In Christ, we know that love we seek.
I love You so much Jesus.
You are my beloved God.

Mary take me to the Heart of Jesus.
Give me the grace to handle this
according to God’s will.
Help me now Mary.
God I love You so much, help me, now.
Mary you are my Mother at my side.

I love and trust you, Mary!

Mary's Message
from the Rosary of August 27, 1996

Mary:  I stood beneath the cross of my Son, and my Heart was in such pain for I saw Him before my eyes. I saw Him covered with blood. I saw Him die. My Heart, my children, my Heart to watch my Son, but my Heart, my Heart, how I suffered for my little children of the world that give in to this world and give up the love of my Son. O my little children of light, I give you this message. Carry this light into the darkness for your Mother Mary, for I stood beneath the cross and I cried. I cried for the little ones. I cried for the young ones, the ones that do not care and will lose their souls. How do I make you see for you will not listen to me? What can I do? I come. I appear. I beg. I plead. I give you these gifts from my Son, and you reject me. I do not deliver messages very often anymore for I have been ignored. The message is the same. You do not read the messages I have given to you. Please help me. Help the little children. I appear. I appear. I appear, and I am ignored. I stood beneath the cross, and I cried. I cried, and my Heart was in such anguish for my little children, for I am searching for them this day as I searched for the Child Jesus. Please, please help me. I cannot hold back the hand of my Son any longer. I am Mary, your Mother. I ask you to help my children. You are my children of light. end of Mary's Message

Definition of love from St. Thomas

“Love is wanting what is best for a person and doing what you reasonably can to bring goodness and good things to that person.”

Luke 15:24

because this son of mine was dead and has come back to life; he was lost and is found." And they began to celebrate.

  John 13:34

I give you a new commandment: love one another; you must love one another just as I have loved you.

Matthew
18:35

And that is how my heavenly Father will deal with you unless you each forgive your brother from your heart.'

R. When we aren’t forgiving it is really
a form of hate. We must forgive,
if we want to be forgiven.

You should pray for those you need
to forgive.

Will to forgive those who hurt you.

The Seven Sorrows

1. The Prophecy of Simeon

R. Mary, you went to the temple with your little baby Jesus, so full of joy and proud of the little baby and Simeon told you
"This child is destined for the fall and rise of Israel, and a sword too will pierce your heart, oh Mary."

You knew of sufferings to come, Mary, joys and sufferings, because to know God, like we do on earth, there are sufferings and joys to know God more and more deeply.

Oh God we know of Your promise to those who love and serve You, and yet we too know we are called to endure suffering daily sometimes, and in our lives here below.

Jesus, You showed us You carried the heavy cross to Calvary, You mounted it and died a brutal death for love of us.
Love of others, bids us to endure the sufferings of this life and to know more joy in knowing God and the everlasting life still to come in heaven.

Oh most Sacred Heart of Jesus Your love for us is a burning flame of endless, enduring love.
Thank You,

Amen

2. The Flight into Egypt

R. Babies today are slaughtered in their mother’s womb in abortion.
We see the slaughter of the innocent that made the Holy family have to flee into Egypt.
Suffering, killing little ones God created in love by evil men.
Oh God, slaughter of children occurred in the Holocaust, brutal, terrible killings of babies and young children, some in the arms of their mother led into gas chambers and showers.
Children separated from parents, watching parents persecuted and some seeing their death.

Slaughter of the innocent.
Slaughter of innocent minds.
Evil done to little children in sex abuse.
Oh God, Oh my Jesus, You and the Holy Family knew the sufferings that love endured.
You taught us - love sacrifices, obeys God’s will and gives - putting God first and obedience to the commandments of God.

Dignity, respect, love, obedience to God’s Law,
Putting God first.
The Holy Family suffered the flight into Egypt.
A sword too will pierce your heart, Oh Mary,
And Mary said "May it be done to me according to your word." Mary suffered so for her children she loved so much. The children of the world - love suffers, Love sacrifices.

3. Jesus was Lost in the Temple

R. Mary and Joseph suffered so looking for Jesus for 3 days.
Three days losing one’s child must have felt like a long time, but they knew on top of this, it was Jesus, The Son of God.

Suffering, think of all the moms and dads that have children lost in their spiritual life.
Is this a big cross?
Mary appeared over and over again at the Holy Spirit Center, crying out about her lost children of the world.

Mary’s message was hard to experience.

Mary‘s Message - from the Rosary of August 27, 1996

Mary:  I stood beneath the cross of my Son, and my Heart was in such pain for I saw Him before my eyes. I saw Him covered with blood. I saw Him die. I cannot hold back the hand of my Son any longer. I am Mary, your Mother. I ask you to help my children. You are my children of light. end of Mary's Message

R. Mary loves us more than any earthly mother.
To Mary old people lost are her lost children.

Mary begs us to take the message of Our Lady of Clearwater seriously.
Last 5th she said, "souls are going to hell tonight" and begged us not to block her message.

Oh, please help us deliver this message of Mary.

A sword too, will pierce your heart, oh Mary.

4. Mary and Jesus meet on the way to Calvary

R. Oh Mary looked into the face of Jesus, His head beaten, bloodied and His head crowned with thorns.
Jesus was in such suffering, His torn body, carrying the heavy cross with our sins.

Jesus saw her red, tear-filled face, her pain so terrible, and Their eyes met in sorrow and joy of deep unity between this Mother and Son.
There is joy in deep suffering. It is unity, many times, deep unity to God.

Oh the eyes of Jesus met Mary, comfort and agony both. Comfort and agony beyond our comprehension.
Love is sacrifice, we see.
Love can be the deep suffering of carrying a cross too, or just daily suffering,
with addiction, loss, disease, heartache, abuse,
and many more...

Mary cries for she knew how much Jesus suffered and she suffered for men who reject God’s love, some losing their souls in serious sin without repenting - in stubborn anger and hatred.
And Mary cried for her children and a sword too will pierce your heart, Oh Mary. Amen.

5. Jesus Died on the Cross

R. What can we say of the suffering there.
Mary said it, crying as she spoke.

Mary‘s Message - from the Rosary of August 27, 1996

R. Jesus gave us His Mother, as He was dying, His thoughts were of us.
He died for us.

Jesus died for us.

Song: A Song from Jesus

6. Jesus is taken down from the Cross

R. Mary received Jesus’ body under the cross.
Mary touched the lifeless body of her precious Son, Jesus.
It has come full circle, Simeon told her as she brought her little baby there now 33 years later, what Simeon said happened.
A lifetime of suffering and joy, God the Father has allowed Mary to appear 27 years to deliver her message. November 5, 2021 in Clearwater she cried, "Souls will go to hell tonight, do not block my message."

7. Jesus is Locked in the Tomb

R. Imagine the sorrow in Mary’s Heart. Jesus died. Jesus was locked in the tomb.

And Simeon said
"This child is destined for the fall and rising of many in Israel."

And a sword too will pierce your heart, oh Mary.

Prayer for Healing the Family Tree

by Rev. John H. Hampsch, C.M.F.

Heavenly Father, I come before you as your child,
in great need of your help.
I have physical health needs, emotional needs,
spiritual needs, and interpersonal needs.
Many of my problems have been caused
by my own failures, neglect and sinfulness,
for which I humbly beg your forgiveness, Lord.
But I also ask you to forgive the sins of my ancestors
whose failures have left their effects on me
in the form of unwanted tendencies,
behavior patterns, and defects in body, mind and spirit.
Heal me, Lord, of all these disorders.  – pause –

With your help I sincerely forgive everyone,
especially living or dead members of my family tree,
who have directly offended me or my loved ones in any way,
or those whose sins have resulted
in our present sufferings and disorders.
In the name of your divine Son Jesus,
and in the power of the Holy Spirit, I ask you, Father,
to deliver me and my entire family tree
from the influence of the evil one.  – pause –

Free all living and deceased members of my family tree,
including those in adoptive relationships,
and those in extended family relationships,
from every contaminating form of bondage.
By your loving concern for us, heavenly Father,
and by the shed blood of your Precious Son Jesus,
I beg you to extend your blessing to me
and all my living and deceased relatives.
Heal every negative effect transmitted
through all past generations,
and prevent such negative effects
in future generations of my family tree.  – pause –

I symbolically place the cross of Jesus
over the head of each person in my family tree,
and between each generation.
I ask you to let the cleansing blood of Jesus
purify the bloodlines in my family lineage.
Set your protective angels to encamp around us,
and permit Archangel Raphael, the patron of healing,
to administer your divine healing power to all of us,
even in areas of genetic disability.

Give special power to our family members’ guardian angels
to heal protect, guide and encourage each of us in all our needs.
Let your healing power be released at this very moment,
and let it continue as long as your sovereignty permits.

In our family tree, Lord, replace all bondage
with a holy bonding in family love.
And let there be an ever deeper bonding with you, Lord,
by the Holy Spirit, to your Son Jesus.
Let the family of the Holy Trinity pervade our family
with its tender, warm, loving presence,
so that our family may recognize
and manifest that love in all our relationships.
All of our unknown needs we include with this petition
that we pray in Jesus’ precious name.
Amen, Amen and Amen.

Prayer for Intergenerational Healing
based upon a prayer and the writings of Dr. Kenneth McAll

In the name of Jesus, and by his authority,
I come against any and every curse
that may have been directed to any member of our family.
I call down the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ
and I break any curse on my family or person
in the Holy name of Jesus.
I forgive and bless those who sent them.
Lord bless our enemies—do so by sending
your Holy Spirit to lead them to repentance,
to healing and to freedom.
I now break in the name of Jesus Christ
all psychic heredity and any demonic hold
upon my family line as a result of the
disobedience of any of my ancestors.
I declare all of this to be absolutely null and void.
In the Holy Name of Jesus.
In the Holy Name of Jesus.
In the Holy Name of Jesus.

In the Name of Jesus Christ,
I renounce all the work of evil,
together with any occult practices of my ancestors.
I subscribe myself to Jesus Christ
my Lord and Savior, both now and forever.

Chaplet of St. Michael

Saint Michael appearing one day to Antonia d'Astonac, a most devout Servant of God, told her that he wished to be honored by nine salutations corresponding to the nine Choirs of Angels, which should consist of one Our Father and three Hail Marys in honor of each of the angelic choirs.

Promises of St. Michael

Whosoever would practice this devotion in his honor would have, when approaching the Holy Table, an escort of nine angels chosen from each one of the nine choirs. In addition, for the daily recital of these nine salutations, he promised his continual assistance and that of all the holy angels during life, and after death deliverance from purgatory for themselves and their relations.

Method of Reciting the Chaplet

The chaplet is begun by saying the following invocation on the medal: O God, come to my assistance. O Lord, make haste to help me. Glory be to the Father, etc.

Say one Our Father and three Hail Marys after each of the following nine salutations in honor of the nine choirs of angels.

1. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Seraphim, may the Lord make us worthy to burn with the fire of perfect charity. Amen.

2. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Cherubim, may the Lord vouchsafe to grant us grace to leave the ways of wickedness to run in the paths of Christian perfection. Amen.

3. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Thrones, may the Lord infuse into our hearts a true and sincere spirit of humility. Amen.

4. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Dominions, may the Lord give us grace to govern our senses and subdue our unruly passions. Amen.

5. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Powers, may the Lord vouchsafe to protect our souls against the snares and temptations of the devil. Amen.

6. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Virtues may the Lord preserve us from evil and suffer us not to fall into temptation. Amen.

7. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Principalities, may God fill our souls with a true spirit of obedience. Amen.

8. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Archangels, may the Lord give us perseverance in faith and in all good works, in order that we gain the glory of Paradise. Amen.

9. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Angels, may the Lord grant us to be protected by them in this mortal life and conducted hereafter to eternal glory. Amen.

Say one Our Father in honor of each of the following leading angels: 10 St Michael; 11 St Gabriel; 12 St. Raphael; 13 our Guardian Angel.

The chaplet is concluded with the following prayers:

O glorious Prince St. Michael, chief and commander of the heavenly hosts, guardian of souls, vanquisher of rebel spirits, servant in the house of the Divine King, and our admirable conductor, thou who dost shine with excellence and superhuman virtue, vouchsafe to deliver us from all evil, who turn to thee with confidence, and enable us by thy gracious protection to serve God more and more faithfully every day.

V. Pray for us, O glorious St. Michael, Prince of the Church of Jesus Christ.

R. That we may be made worthy of His promises.

Almighty and Everlasting God, who by a prodigy of goodness and a merciful desire for the salvation of all men, hast appointed the most glorious Archangel, St. Michael, Prince of Thy Church, make us worthy, we beseech Thee, to be delivered from all our enemies that none of them may harass us at the hour of death, but that we may be conducted by him into the august presence of Thy Divine Majesty. This we beg through the merits of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Matthew 22: 36-40

'Master, which is the greatest commandment of the Law?' Jesus said to him, 'You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment. The second resembles it: You must love your neighbour as yourself. On these two commandments hang the whole Law, and the Prophets too.'

Dear Holy Spirit, strengthen our will and
move like a Divine breath in our soul, to
be docile sons and daughters of our
Heavenly Father. Amen.

Alleluia.

Sorrowful Mysteries

The Agony in the Garden

1. Mark 14: 32-44

They came to a plot of land called Gethsemane, and he said to his disciples, ‘Stay here while I pray.’ Then he took Peter and James and John with him. And he began to feel terror and anguish. And he said to them, ‘My soul is sorrowful to the point of death. Wait here, and stay awake.’ And going on a little further he threw himself on the ground and prayed that, if it were possible, this hour might pass him by. ‘Abba,  Father!’ he said, ‘For you everything is possible. Take this cup away from me. But let it be as you, not I, would have it.’ He came back and found them sleeping, and he said to Peter, ‘Simon, are you asleep? Had you not the strength to stay awake one hour? Stay awake and pray not to be put to the test. The spirit is willing enough, but human nature is weak.’ Again he went away and prayed, saying the same words. And once more he came back and found them sleeping, their eyes were so heavy; and they could find no answer for him. He came back a third time and said to them, ‘You can sleep on now and have your rest. It is all over. The hour has come. Now the Son of man is to be betrayed into the hands of sinners. Get up! Let us go! My betrayer is not far away.’

And at once, while he was still speaking, Judas, one of the Twelve, came up and with him a number of men armed with swords and clubs, sent by the chief priests and the scribes and the elders. Now the traitor had arranged a signal with them saying, ‘The one I kiss, he is the man. Arrest him, and see he is well guarded when you lead him away.’

2. Jesus took Peter, James and
    John in the Garden.
3. Jesus wanted them to pray,
    instead they fell asleep.
4. We can operate with eyes that
    are blinded when we don’t
    follow God’s Law.
5. Virtues get strengthened by
    practicing them.
6. God gives us the supernatural
virtues of Faith, Hope and Love
    in Baptism.
7. When Adam and Eve were in the
Garden and given such gifts they
    sinned and disorder entered the
    world.
8. Sin offends God.
9. Jesus saw all the sins of mankind
in the Garden and He endured the
bitter Passion to His death on the
    cross.
10. Jesus’ anxiety was so great in
    the Garden, He sweat blood.
His blood fell in drops to the
    ground.

The Scourging at the Piller

1. Luke 23: 15-19, 22

...As you can see, the man has done nothing that deserves death, so I shall have him flogged and then let him go.' But as one man they howled, 'Away with him! Give us Barabbas!' (This man had been thrown into prison because of a riot in the city and murder.)

And for the third time he spoke to them, 'But what harm has this man done? I have found no case against him that deserves death, so I shall have him flogged and then let him go.'

2. Jesus allowed Himself to be a
prisoner by being bound to the
    pillar.
3. The men who whipped Jesus
were men Jesus loved so much.
4. The men whipped Jesus, they
    whipped Him raw.
5. Hear the blows as they whip
    Jesus. Listen to the noise.
6. Jesus the innocent Lamb led
    to the slaughter.
7. The pillar would soon be
replaced by a cross, laden with
    the sins of the world.
    Jesus allowed Himself to be
a prisoner of the cross. He was
    nailed to the cross.
8. Jesus stood in a puddle of His
    own blood at the pillar.
9. Jesus could have stopped it all.
10. When we do God’s will, we
    may suffer greatly.

The Crowning with Thorns

1. Matthew 27: 27-31

Then the governor’s soldiers took Jesus with them into the Praetorium and collected the whole cohort round him. And they stripped him and put a scarlet cloak round him, and having twisted some thorns into a crown they put this on his head and placed a reed in his right hand. To make fun of him they knelt to him saying, ‘Hail, king of the Jews!’ And they spat on him and took the reed and struck him on the head with it. And when they had finished making fun of him, they took off the cloak and dressed him in his own clothes and led him away to crucifixion.

2. Christ was silenced because for
Him to speak would have brought
down more torture by men who
wanted to hurt Him, argue, fight
    with Him.

3. His silence shows us He had no
reason to fight these men, they
wanted to hurt Him, they wanted
the place of darkness in which
    they acted.

4. Jesus: I have put before you life
and death, a blessing or a curse,
choose life that you will live.

5. Men who chose anger, darkness,
lies, etc, do so because they
    want it more than God.

6. They have a free will, to chose
    God’s will or sin.

7. Silence, if a person is looking
for a fight or to hurt another
    person, how can the innocent
being attacked by a man in
    darkness, stop the man coming
at them with the energy of
    darkness, trying to hurt the
    innocent man.

8. Christ was spit on, blasphemed
and a crown of thorns pounded,
    pounded into His head.

    What could such innocence do
to stop such angry, dark behavior?

    The innocence of Christ was
    perfect light.

The men of darkness had that
    darkness in them.
    Christ was their victim.

9. The devil tells the sinner, they
are right, when they are wrong.
10. Forgiveness and freedom from
    darkness comes from sorrow
    for sin.

    Jesus’ body was bare, beaten!
    Satan lies about sinfulness to
    the sinner.
Covering up sin in the heart is
    like planting seeds in rocks
    and infertile ground.

    You must ask for forgiveness
    and seek purity of heart.

“Do not judge others lest you
    be judged.”
A person in authority is in
    authority to bring order and
    follow the principles of purity.

    Christ paid for our sins.

    Christ was the innocent Lamb,
led to the slaughter by the men
    filled with anger and darkness.
Think of the darkness in their
    hearts mocking Christ as King
    and spitting on Him.
Mocking the innocent is so mean.
    Christ did nothing.
    Christ withstood the abuse.
Christ was made a victim of
    these attacks from angry men.
    And Christ offers forgiveness
and mercy to those, sorry for
    their sins.

The Carrying of the Cross

1. Luke 23:26-31

As they were leading him away they seized on a man, Simon from Cyrene, who was coming in from the country, and made him shoulder the cross and carry it behind Jesus. Large numbers of people followed him, and women too, who mourned and lamented for him. But Jesus turned to them and said, ‘Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me; weep rather for yourselves and for your children. For look, the days are surely coming when people will say, "Blessed are those who are barren, the wombs that have never borne children, the breasts that have never suckled!" Then they will begin to say to the mountains, "Fall on us!"; to the hills, "Cover us!" For if this is what is done to green wood, what will be done when the wood is dry?'

2. All life needs training. We
cannot do what we want. Our
    wounded human nature has
    tendencies to the deadly sins.
    When deadly sins are ignored
    they become habits.
    Christ was the innocent Lamb
    led to the slaughter.
3. Christ is the Lamb of God, who
takes away the sins of the world.
4. Man has passions that must be
    controlled.
He cannot do what he wants
and demands he is not corrected.
    It becomes wild.
    This world belongs to Christ
and Christ is the ruler with His
    Laws to be obeyed.
5. God created us to love. God
created us in the image of God.
    This is how the Omnipotent
God created us by design to be.
We are what God created us
to be when we obey His Law
and are sorry for our sins and
    ask for forgiveness and mercy,
    if we disobey.
6. Jesus paid the price for our sins.
    Sin offends God.
We are to ask forgiveness for
our sins from God, with a firm
    purpose of amendment.
7. Christ paid a big price for our
sins, so we can be forgiven
    and given mercy.
8. Dear God we are sorry for our
    sins, because sin offends You
who is worthy of all of our love.
9. My dear God, I am heartily sorry
    for my sins.
    Please forgive me.
I do not wish to sin this way again.
I plead for Your forgiveness and
    mercy. Amen.

The Crucifixion

1. Matthew 27: 35-44

When they had finished crucifying him they shared out his clothing by casting lots, and then sat down and stayed there keeping guard over him.

Above his head was placed the charge against him; it read: ‘This is Jesus, the King of the Jews.’ Then two bandits were crucified with him, one on the right and one on the left.

The crucified Jesus is mocked

The passers–by jeered at him; they shook their heads and said, ‘So you would destroy the Temple and in three days rebuild it! Then save yourself if you are God’s son and come down from the cross!’ The chief priests with the scribes and elders mocked him in the same way, with the words, ‘He saved others; he cannot save himself. He is the king of Israel; let him come down from the cross now, and we will believe in him. He has put his trust in God; now let God rescue him if he wants him. For he did say, "I am God’s son." ’ Even the bandits who were crucified with him taunted him in the same way.

2. Christ was the victim.
3. Christ the greatest sacrifice.
4. Christ the priest.
5. Christ the King!!!
6. The Mass is the sacrifice of Calvary,
    sacramentally made present.

7. Romans 6:8

“But if we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live together with Christ.”

8. John 12:24-25

In all truth I tell you, unless a wheat grain falls into the earth and dies, it remains only a single grain; but if it dies it yields a rich harvest. Anyone who loves his life loses it; anyone who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.

9. Luke 24:26

“Did not the Christ have to suffer these things before entering into his glory?”

10. 1 Peter 2:21

“Unto this, indeed, you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you,
leaving you an example that you may follow in his steps.”

Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle B of the Litugical Year (2011/2012)
$ 10.00

Guiding Light homily series — Reflect on the Word — Cycle B     The Word leaves an impression on our souls. In my thoughts and reflections are born a more tangible understanding of these eternal concepts presented in the Gospels and the readings. Anyone can read a sentence, but not anyone can absorb it's true meaning. Truth, in this day and age, is almost a matter of opinion or individual entitlement. We believe that Christ's truth is our Roman Catholic Church. We, as priests, champion it's teachings; we are ambassadors for the Pope and Christ to those faces looking at us. We are the light by which our congregation reads to reflect upon real truth and we do it hand in hand. $10

Guiding Light - Steadfast to the Son
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle A of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light homily series — Steadfast to the Son — Cycle A    The sunflower is a great example of how we should be steadfastly guided by light. What a powerful thought that this exceptional plant is not stuck in one pose day in and day out, yet adaptable and magnetized to the sun. We feel the same about our Son. Our heads turns to face Christ as each day presents its challenges to find light. We join together like plants in a field and soak up the Son through the pulpit. We are a warm circle of strength using the wind of our breath to carry our priests' words, Christ's words, to new rich soil. $10

Guiding Light - Focusing on the Word
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle B of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light — Focusing on the Word — Cycle B    At times we may feel that our path to Christ is a bit "out of focus". Like the disciples in the Book of Mark, this ordinary life clouds our vision of Christ's Divinity. We may doubt the practicality or possibility of applying His teachings and example to our modern life. Cycle B's homilies are a "guiding light" to help us realize Jesus' Messianic greatness and His promise of better things to come. $10

Guiding Light - Feed My Soul
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle C of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light — Feed My Soul — Cycle C    In a world rapidly advancing and encouraging personal gain, we are faced with modern problems. There is a challenge to find time in our busy schedules for Sunday Mass or a family meal. We are able to research, shop, bank and even work without hearing one human voice. It is no wonder that we may often feel disconnected and famished at our week's end. In Fr. Joe's third book of homilies from Cycle C, we are reminded of the charity that Christ intended us to show each other. We have a calling to turn the other cheek and be the Good Samaritan to others. We are rewarded with the Father's kingdom and love when we are not worthy. We are not left alone or hungry. $10
