Prayer for Grace for our Country
Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

Glorious Mysteries in Thanksgiving
The Resurrection
1. Sing: Glory, Glory, Glory Lord
2. Jesus died on the cross, the resurrection tells us there is life after death.
3. Think of the 3 days Jesus was lost in the temple and the 3 days Jesus was locked in the tomb.
4. Mary knew separation at the finding in the temple and Mary knew separation when Jesus died and was locked in the tomb.
5. Jesus shows us there is life after death, Jesus appeared in His glorified body.
6. These are the mysteries of the rosary.
This is surely a mystery Death / Resurrection.7. We know that we do not have to fear death, that God intends us to be purified here on earth and love and serve Him here, then go to our true home in heaven.

February 22, 1995 - The Resurrection
8. He gives us sufferings. He gives us trials. He allows all that happens to us to happen. It is in acceptance of all that He allows, and in focusing on Jesus, that we will have new life, new life in Him! He is forever present and forever ready to pour out to us His life in abundance. We must realize that the way to Him is to follow Him. He came to carry His cross. He suffered and died so He could bring us new life!

10. February 22, 1995 - The Resurrection
10. Who are we that God loves us so much that He sent His only Son into this world and His Son died on the cross for our redemption? Now He rises on the third day to bring us new life. He gives to the Apostles the power to baptize and to forgive sins. It is through Baptism that we are made children of God and heirs of heaven. We are given new life in Baptism! We are on a spiritual journey. We are reborn in Baptism as little babies on our journey. Our Mother Mary is our Spiritual Mother to lead us on our way to closer and closer union with Jesus, her beloved Son!
The Ascension
1. Luke 24: 1-12
On the first day of the week, at the first sign of dawn, they went to the tomb with the spices they had prepared. They found that the stone had been rolled away from the tomb, but on entering they could not find the body of the Lord Jesus. As they stood there puzzled about this, two men in brilliant clothes suddenly appeared at their side. Terrified, the women bowed their heads to the ground. But the two said to them, ‘Why look among the dead for someone who is alive? He is not here; he has risen. Remember what he told you when he was still in Galilee: that the Son of man was destined to be handed over into the power of sinful men and be crucified, and rise again on the third day.’ And they remembered his words.
And they returned from the tomb and told all this to the Eleven and to all the others. The women were Mary of Magdala, Joanna, and Mary the mother of James. And the other women with them also told the apostles, but this story of theirs seemed pure nonsense, and they did not believe them.
Peter, however, went off to the tomb, running. He bent down and looked in and saw the linen cloths but nothing else; he then went back home, amazed at what had happened.

February 22, 1995 - The Ascension
1. Jesus took the Apostles out to the town of Bethany, gave them His final blessing, and left them in His peace. The ways of God are the ways of peace. The more we realize the immense love that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit have for us and that the three Persons are truly inside of us when we are in the state of grace, the more we then realize that no one can take away this indwelling of the Trinity within us. The more we pray and stay connected to Them, the more They lead us to peace. Peace, joy, and happiness come from the realization of the presence of God within us!
3. February 22, 1995 - The Ascension
5. The glories that followed! He raised His arms and ascended upward into the clouds. The Apostles, as they looked from below, were awestruck to see Jesus go upward into the sky, into a cloud which took Him out of sight!
4. The Apostles were afraid, they locked themselves in the upper room waiting the coming of the Holy Spirit.
5. Jesus ascended into heaven, and a cloud took Him out of sight.
6. Death / Resurrection is the Pascal mystery. We pray to the Holy Spirit to inspire us and help us understand insight into the mystery.
7. Jesus came to earth, took flesh and He went in His Glorified body into heaven before the Holy Spirit descended on the Apostles and the Virgin Mary.
8. We see we are called too, to go out and spread the Good News.
9. We are
to be witnesses of God.
We are to be witnesses as God has called us for the building
of the Kingdom.
Oh God help us in our lives with all this unrest, sickness,
turmoil, and evil.
10. John 14:25-26
I have said these things to you while still with you; but the Paraclete, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything and remind you of all I have said to you.
The Descent of Holy Spirit on the Apostles
1. John 15:26
When the Paraclete comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who issues from the Father, he will be my witness.
2. Acts 2:1-4
When Pentecost day came round, they had all met together, when suddenly there came from heaven a sound as of a violent wind which filled the entire house in which they were sitting; and there appeared to them tongues as of fire; these separated and came to rest on the head of each of them. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak different languages as the Spirit gave them power to express themselves.
3. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth. God had given the Apostles many things to do when Jesus walked the earth and taught the Apostles.
4. Jesus wanted the Apostles to go out and preach the Gospel and baptize men!!
5. The Holy
Spirit is the third Person of the Trinity.
The Holy Spirit is a Person.
In baptism we receive a
sharing in God’s life, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit dwell in our
graced, baptized soul.
6. Christ is the head of the Church, the Church is the mystical body of Christ. The Holy Spirit is the soul of the Church. The Holy Spirit brings unity and gifts!
7. The
Church was born from the pierced side of Christ, blood and water came
from Jesus' pierced side:
water for baptism and blood for the Eucharist.
8. The Holy Spirit is the Gift of God.
The gifts of the Holy
Spirit are
Wisdom, Understanding, Counsel,
Fortitude, Knowledge, Piety
and Fear of the Lord.
The indwelling of the Holy Spirit produces the fruits of the Holy Spirit.
The fruits of the Holy Spirit are:
charity, joy, peace, patience,
benignity (kindness), goodness,
long-suffering, mildness,
faith, modesty, continency,
and chastity

10. Excerpt from Response to God's Love by Fr. Edward Carter, S.J.
... In reference to Christianity, God himself is the ultimate mystery. Radically, God is completely other and transcendent, hidden from man in his inner life, unless he chooses to reveal himself. Let us briefly look at this inner life of God.
The Father, in a perfect act of self-expression, in a perfect act of knowing, generates his son. The Son, the Word, is, then, the immanent expression of God's fullness, the reflection of the Father. Likewise, from all eternity, the Father and the Son bring forth the Holy Spirit in a perfect act of loving.
At the destined moment in human history, God's self-expression, the Word, immersed himself into man's world. God's inner self-expression now had also become God's outer self-expression. Consequently, the mystery of God becomes the mystery of Christ. In Christ, God tells us about himself, about his inner life, about his plan of creation and redemption. He tells us how Father, Son, and Holy Spirit desire to dwell within us in the most intimate fashion, how they wish to share with us their own life through grace. All this he has accomplished and does accomplish through Christ.
The Assumption

The Holy Spirit
end of excerptJesus: "My beloved friend, tell My people to pray daily to the Holy Spirit. They are to pray for an increase in His gifts. My people must realize that the Holy Spirit comes to transform them. The Spirit desires to transform you more and more according to My image. Those who are docile to His touch become increasingly shaped in My likeness. He performs this marvel within Mary's Immaculate Heart. The more one dwells in My Mother's Heart, the more active are the workings of the Spirit. The Spirit leads Mary to place you within My own Heart. In both Our Hearts, then, your transformation continues. The more you are formed after My own Heart, the more I lead you to the bosom of My Father. Tell My people all this. Tell them to pray daily for a greater appreciation of these wondrous gifts. I am Lord and Master. All who come to My Heart will be on fire to receive the gifts of the Spirit in ever greater measure! I love and bless My people!"
Reflection: The Holy Spirit is given to us to fashion us ever more according to the likeness of Jesus. And the more we are like Jesus, the more Jesus leads us to the Father. Do we, each day, pray to the Holy Spirit to be more open to His transforming influence? Do we strive each day to grow in union with Mary? The greater our union with our Mother, the spouse of the Holy Spirit, the greater is the transforming action of the Holy Spirit within us.
Prayer: Come, Holy Spirit, fill us with your gifts of wisdom, understanding, knowledge, counsel, fortitude, piety and fear of the Lord. As we dwell in the Heart of Mary, Your spouse, fashion us more and more according to the Heart of Jesus.

Oh Lamb of God, Who take away the sins of the world, come and act on my soul most intimately. I surrender myself, as I ask for the grace to let go, to just be as I exist in You and You act most intimately on my soul. You are the Initiator. I am the soul waiting Your favors as You act in me. I love You. I adore You. I worship You. Come and possess my soul with Your Divine Grace, as I experience You most intimately.
