Consecration Prayer for Peace

I consecrate Russia and the Ukraine to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

I further consecrate the priests, the Church and the world to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary.

I do this in the name of Jesus in as far as I am able, united to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, praying to the Father, in the Holy Spirit, with all the angels and saints and the souls in purgatory through the powerful intercession of Mary, Queen of Peace. Amen.

I further consecrate myself, all members of my family and ask the Holy Spirit to fill us. I spread the Blood of Jesus on all above, I cast the devil into hell away from all of us and consecrate all persons, in as far as I am able,  to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart.

Prayer for Grace for Election and our Country

Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

R. Do you feel the presence of the
Father, Son and Holy Spirit?

The Father, has a plan for us.
God wants this relationship with us.
We are here to grow in our intimacy
with God.
In this Lent we can spend time
alone with God and think of the
presence of the Father, Son and
Holy Spirit in our heart.

Jesus: Be alone with Me, close
your eyes, think of the presence of
God, All three Persons, dwelling in
your heart.

Meditate, empty your mind, think
only of the presence of God. Make
a spiritual communion, now.

Take time, be alone with Me.

Everyday during Lent, morning and
night, empty your mind, make a
spiritual communion, think of God’s
presence with you, close your eyes,
be alone with Me.

This will help you to grow in God’s
presence all day, the more you do
this, all thru Lent.

I went into the desert to pray for
40 days and be with My Father,
practice this every day during Lent.
Being alone with God. Knowing
My presence!!!!

Reflections on Love

The above thoughts give us an occasion to offer various reflections on love:

  • He was consistently motivated by love. In the end He was literally consumed by love, for it led Him to a place called Calvary. He was brutally nailed to a cross and raised up midst the laughter and ridicule of enemies. He hung there, bruised and beaten, His body smeared with blood. There was the flush of fever mixed with the chill of approaching death. The greatest physical suffering was surpassed only by an unfathomable anguish of spirit. It was a terrible scene, yet one permeated with a haunting beauty which came forth from the magnificent love of His Heart. His crucified figure, silhouetted against a darkening sky, is the everlasting reminder that to live is to love, and that to love involves not only joy, but also suffering.

  • We are great because of what we are, and we are to the extent that we love God and neighbor.

  • Love is sensitive. It is delicately aware of the loved one’s needs. Moreover, love’s sensitivity is blended with a strength and durability which allows it to endure pain, hardship, and difficulty for the beloved.

  • Love is sensitive, not only regarding those few especially loved in close personal relationships. Love is sensitive also regarding all others, especially the poor and underprivileged and those whom the world passes by as unimportant, the sick and the lame also, and likewise all those who seem especially weighed down by the burden of life.

  • When love fails, it does not remain mired in discouragement. It resolves to learn from past mistakes and henceforth to love more selflessly, more deeply, more tenderly.

  • Why are we sometimes afraid of God’s love? We shy away from the white heat of His love, foolishly thinking He will ask too much of us. When has He ever asked for something too difficult? When has He ever asked anything without giving us abundant grace to accomplish His desire? When has His love ever asked that which has not brought us closer to Him, thus enhancing our happiness?

  • Jesus loves us with an overwhelming love. Why do we at times find it difficult to love ourselves? Jesus sees our failings, but also all the good we do with the help of His grace. He also sees our capacity for achieving ever greater good. Why do we at times become depressed at what we are not, rather than being encouraged at what God has helped us to be?

  • A number of years ago an educator wrote the following. Perhaps what he said then is even more applicable today: “I could not even begin to count the men and women whom I have met in my work who testify, with great sadness, that their formation/education both at home and at school was almost completely in terms of achievement, of doing, of performing according to standards, of accomplishing certain narrow goals, but hardly ever in terms of being, of growing, of loving.”2

  • When loving God and neighbor becomes difficult and painful, there is a temptation to turn in a non-love direction which deceptively appears to be free of pain and suffering. Pursuing such a path, however, is a dead-end street where one painfully suffocates in selfish self-enclosement.

  • Although love must be firm when necessary, it is also gentle. Love does not further crush the bruised personality, but helps the other to heal and grow through tenderness and affirmation.

  • Love can cause one to weep. Sometimes the tears are caused by joy, at other times by pain.

  • Love helps a person to be enthusiastic about life, sometimes ecstatically so, more often quietly so.

  • Jesus has told us to focus on love. Is it not strange that we Christians, who call ourselves His followers, can at times so easily allow other concerns to dominate our consciousness?

  • The bloated stomachs of starving children, the tragedies of broken homes, the rat-infected ghettoes, the drug scene with its dreadful number of ruined lives, city streets engraved with an alarmingly increasing list of murders, rapes, and muggings—when love sees all of this, it weeps. Love not only weeps, however. It also acts.

  • “If I have all the eloquence of men or of angels, but speak without love, I am simply a gong booming or a cymbal clashing. If I have the gift of prophecy, understanding all the mysteries there are, and knowing everything, and if I have faith in all its fullness, to move mountains, but without love, then I am nothing at all. If I give away all that I possess, piece by piece, and if I even let them take my body to burn it, but am without love, it will do me no good whatever” (1 Cor 13: 1-3).

From Mother at Our Side by Fr. Carter, S.J.

The Eucharistic Sacrifice

...The Mass is the center of our lives. The Mass is our chief source for growth in the life of conversion and a life of holiness. In the Eucharistic sacrifice we offer ourselves to the Father with and through Christ in the Holy Spirit, with Mary our Mother at our side.

In the Eucharistic offering, Christ gives Himself to us and we give ourselves to Him. We need to take the time to reflect upon the awesomeness of this gift of the Lord Jesus. He gives Himself to us--body, blood, soul, and divinity. What an amazing, beautiful, and total giving!

The Christ Who suffered excruciating pain upon the cross, the Christ Who with lacerated body hung in agony and love, the Christ Who had His Heart pierced with a lance--this is the same Christ Who continues to give Himself completely to us in the Eucharist. What is our appreciation of this tremendous gift? Do we spend sufficient time in silent communication with Jesus after receiving the Eucharist? Do we sufficiently realize that Jesus' total gift of Himself calls for the total gift of ourselves to Him?

My sheep hear my voice
I know them, and they follow me.
I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish.
John 10:27-28

R. By laying down His life for His flock,
Jesus has raised us up. His death has
brought us life, the sorrow of His
Passion has brought us joy, His being
made prisoner on the cross has given
us the freedom of the sons of God.

Jesus gave Himself for us until there
was no more to give. So we should
give ourselves to Him.
We are to be dedicated to Christ and
His cause as a Christian Fr. Carter says.

R. The Lord is my Shepherd, He
leads us on our way, someday to
home with our Father in heaven.
God is our beloved.
God provides for us.
God is always with us.

Jesus sweat blood in the Garden,
His sufferings were so great.
If we knew all the sufferings to
come, think how hard that would be.
So many people help others in love,
everyday, God wants us to help each
other in all we do everyday.
Jesus said “yes” to giving Himself
for our sins.
We should say “yes” to the will of
God, all day, every day.
Because others have hurt us, we
may want to close down, stay closed.
It is better to have loved and lost
than not have loved at all.
God is love, we are most God-like
when we are loving.

Matthew 22: 36-40

'Master, which is the greatest commandment of the Law?' Jesus said to him, 'You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment. The second resembles it: You must love your neighbour as yourself. On these two commandments hang the whole Law, and the Prophets too.'

Jesus: I am the way, the truth and
the life.

So few souls tell Me how much
they love Me.
I love you so much, I remain with
you truly present in the Eucharist.

Many have no room for Me to give
love, in their busy lives.

I long for you to come before the
Blessed Sacrament and tell Me your
love.

Heaven is for lovers. Prepare your
hearts today.
Do the Father’s will.
Do not listen to Satan.
Satan is hate.
You were created in love by God.

I am the Light of the world.
I call you, My precious soul.
I love you, I love you, I love you.

Let your hearts be soft and supple
and loving.
Open your heart, I want to come
and dwell in your heart, now.
I love you so much, you do not
comprehend My Divine Love.
I am the Sacred Heart, trust in Me.

The Carrying of the Cross

Jesus: I am alive. I am alive. I am alive, and I live in your heart. My dear one, how are you carrying your cross this day? See Me with the cross on My back, and look into My eyes, for My eyes are filled with love for you. I allow you to suffer, for it is in the suffering that you will unite more and more to My love.

5. R. Jesus, I meditate on You carrying Your cross, and I see Your eyes and I see the blood covering Your body, but many times when I struggle, I do not identify these sufferings with Your passion until it is so bad, and then I identify it with the passion. Help me to identify everything in my life with Your life.

7. Jesus: I love you. I love you. I love you. I am guarding you. I am watching you. I am with you at every second. You must surrender and let go, and you must trust in Me, knowing that I am here at every moment and that you are never alone. I am watching you. I am watching you, and I am loving you.

8. Jesus: I am teaching you this day. I am teaching you the lessons of My love for you are My apostles that will carry My love into this world. You do not understand how great is the mission that I have called you to.

The Crucifixion

1. Jesus: Will you walk with Me on the way to Calvary? Will you carry the cross on your back? Will you take the wounds that I send to you? Will you say, “Yes, yes Lord. I love You, Lord. I give myself to You.”?

2. Jesus: It is in giving that you receive. My beloved ones, see Me hanging on the cross, My arms outstretched. I gave My all for love of you. You must give yourselves to Me. We will be one depending on how much you give yourself to Me. Pray for the grace to surrender and to die to yourselves.

4. R. I want to be one with You, my beloved Savior, to unite in such oneness with You. I pray for the grace that I may die more and more to myself and become one in You. I love You. I love You. I love You.

10. Jesus: You must come to My Heart, and I will fill you with My love. But love is an act of the will. You must say in your heart, whenever you are taunted by thoughts of division, “I love my brother. I love my sister. I love that person.” and send love to all that you meet. Silently in your heart send them love for you are My Heart this day, beating in this world. Send them My love. I am alive. I am alive. I am alive, and I live in your heart.

R. And they pierced His heart with a lance, and what came forth was blood and water. He truly gave His all for love of us, and He gives His all to us this day. We must go to Him and ask Him to fill us with His love.

See Mary under the cross, and feel the pain in her heart, the pain to know how many of her children would be lost because of their hatred and anger. Mary has called us to be the children of light, to go into the dark world and to spread the love of her Son. It is under duress that we will spread His love, and it will touch many hearts. We must pray to be holy. We must go to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary and dwell in Their Hearts that we will be made holy.

Song: A Song from Jesus

Jesus: You are the hearts of love beating in this world today. I have called you in the Shepherds of Christ Movement to go into the world and to spread My love. Give Me your heart. Do not think thoughts of division toward one another. Think thoughts of love. My Heart is a Heart of love. You must pray for the grace to grow more and more in holiness. You must pray for the grace to love.

Loves us!!

August 5, 1996

Jesus: You are My teachers of love. You will go into this world and you will teach many My ways. You must be pure in your heart. Come to Me and I will guide you. Pray to the Holy Spirit to fill you with wisdom that you will know the way to act. I am the Almighty God I am this close to you. Surrender and come to Me.

Sorrowful Mysteries

The Agony in the Garden

1. Luke 22: 39-46

The Mount of Olives

He then left to make his way as usual to the Mount of Olives, with the disciples following. When he reached the place he said to them, ‘Pray not to be put to the test.’

Then he withdrew from them, about a stone’s throw away, and knelt down and prayed. ‘Father,’ he said, ‘if you are willing, take this cup away from me. Nevertheless, let your will be done, not mine.’ Then an angel appeared to him, coming from heaven to give him strength. In his anguish he prayed even more earnestly, and his sweat fell to the ground like great drops of blood. When he rose from prayer he went to the disciples and found them sleeping for sheer grief. And he said to them, ‘Why are you asleep? Get up and pray not to be put to the test.’

2. Truly the Good Shepherd had laid
down His life for His sheep.
3. That magnificent Heart, overflowing
with love for His Father and all of us,
    had beat its last.
4. The Apostles slept.
5. Jesus woke them 3 times.
6. They did not get it.
7. Jesus did the will of His Father.
8. An Angel appeared to strengthen Him.
9. Jesus loves us so much and wants us
    to love Him.

10. John 3:16

For this is how God loved the world:
he gave his only Son,
so that everyone who believes in him
    may not perish
but may have eternal life.

The Scourging at the Pillar

1. Matthew 27: 24-26

Then Pilate saw that he was making no impression, that in fact a riot was imminent. So he took some water, washed his hands in front of the crowd and said, ‘I am innocent of this man’s blood. It is your concern.’ And the people, every one of them, shouted back, ‘Let his blood be on us and on our children!’ Then he released Barabbas for them. After having Jesus scourged he handed him over to be crucified.

2. Think of all of the sins of the
    body.
3. Jesus was whipped raw.
4. Jesus stood in a puddle of His
    own blood.
5. Jesus was bound while they
    whipped Him, with anger in
    their hearts.
6. Jesus loves us so much, He
wants us to be with Him, forever
    in heaven.

7. Come to me, Lord, and possess
my soul. Come into my heart and
permeate my soul. Help me to sit
in silence with You and let You
    work in my heart.

8. We are favored by Jesus.
9. Dear Jesus, I am sorry for my sins!!
10. Jesus is our Redeemer, our Savior!!

The Crowning with Thorns

1. Matthew 27: 27-31

Then the governor’s soldiers took Jesus with them into the Praetorium and collected the whole cohort round him. And they stripped him and put a scarlet cloak round him, and having twisted some thorns into a crown they put this on his head and placed a reed in his right hand. To make fun of him they knelt to him saying, ‘Hail, king of the Jews!’ And they spat on him and took the reed and struck him on the head with it. And when they had finished making fun of him, they took off the cloak and dressed him in his own clothes and led him away to crucifixion.

2. Romans 6:3-4

You cannot have forgotten that all of us, when we were baptised into Christ Jesus, were baptised into his death. So by our baptism into his death we were buried with him, so that as Christ was raised from the dead by the Father’s glorious power, we too should begin living a new life.

The Carrying of the Cross

1. Stations of the Cross - February 22, 1995

1. Jesus Is Condemned to Death

Jesus:  My dear child, with angry hearts and hatred on their faces, they poked at Me and condemned Me to death. I stood so silent, My hands tied, in perfect peace, because I knew the Father's love. I knew the Father's Will. You too will stand your trials in perfect peace, the more you realize the immense love the Father, Son and Holy Spirit have for you. Pray to the Spirit to transform you more and more into My image and, through this transformation, you will be led ever closer to the Father. Oh, how I love you!

2. They Give Jesus the Cross

Jesus:  They gave Me a heavy cross, laden with the sins of the world. They placed it on My shoulder. It was so heavy I felt as if My shoulder would break. I ask you to carry little crosses, to experience little pains. I could not remove this cross from My shoulder. The weight was unbearable. It is through My suffering and death that you receive new life. It is through your sufferings this day that you will grow in your life with Me. Oh, child, I loved you so much that I took up the cross of salvation. I love you. Please realize that I am talking to you here. To My death I loved you. Oh, how I love you!

2. Third Station

3. Jesus Falls the First Time

Jesus: The cross was so heavy I could hardly walk. I held on to My cross for greatest love of you and in compliance with the Will of My Father. It became so hard to walk! The cross was so heavy! I fell. I fell and the cross fell on Me. They poked at Me, they struck Me, they demanded I get up. The pain from the instruments they used to poke Me and strike Me was so great! I somehow managed to get up.

When you fall under the weight of your cross, come to My Eucharistic Heart. I am no less present in the tabernacle and in the Eucharist than on the day I carried My cross. I wait with the same love that I had for you when I carried this cross and suffered such agony. Oh, how I love you!

3. Fourth Station

4. Jesus and Mary Meet

Jesus: I saw the face of My beautiful Mother. She was weak, her face reddened and full of tears. I saw her tender heart, her love, her anguish, her pain. I saw My dear Mother Mary. My Heart was comforted by the sight of her, but torn by her suffering.

Mary: As I looked into the eyes of my beloved Son, I saw His love. His head, bleeding and wounded. His body weak. His clothes covered with blood. I looked into His eyes and I saw His love for you. I call out to you today. I appear today with a face full of anguish and tears. I appear to call you back to the love of my Son. See through my eyes, as I peer into His eyes, the love He has for you this day to give of Himself for you. Oh, He loves you so much, my little children. See through my eyes the love of my Son. Oh, how He loves you!

4. Fifth Station

5. Simon of Cyrene Is Forced to Help Jesus Carry His Cross

Jesus: The cross was so heavy I could not move. My persecutors became angry and forced a man to help Me. The cross was so heavy the two of us could barely move it. How is your cross today? Does it seem so heavy you cannot go on? I am forever watching you. When you are suffering the greatest, I am very close to you. It is in immense suffering that you realize My great love for you. Pray for grace to do always the Father's Will. Pray for grace to grow in your knowledge and love of Me.

6. Veronica Wipes the Face of Jesus

Jesus: My face was covered with blood. From the crowd Veronica came forward with a cloth to wipe My face. On the cloth I gave to you an imprint of My bloodied face. This, My children, remains with you this day as a sign of My immense love for you. But more than any cloth, look beyond the visible consecrated host. I, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, remain with you, Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity, in the Eucharist this day, waiting and longing to be with you. Oh, how I love you!

5. Seventh Station

7. Jesus Falls the Second Time

Jesus: Oh, dear ones, the road became harder and harder to walk. The cross was becoming heavier, My body weaker and weaker. My shoulders and arms hurt so much! My head throbbed as I walked. The blood came from My body, from My head to My feet. I was covered with open wounds. I could not go any farther. I stumbled and fell. Again they poked at Me, only harder, and with such hatred they kicked Me. Such vileness in the hearts of men! My greatest agony was not the agonies of My body, but the agonies of My heart for the love I have for all My precious souls. I loved them so dearly. I loved those who persecuted Me. Oh, how I love you!

6. Eighth Station

8. Jesus Meets the Women of Jerusalem

Jesus: The women came to Me with their children, their tender hearts crying and wanting to comfort Me. I saw their love, their care. I saw the coldness of men's hearts for all time, the hatred, the anger, the sins, all the souls that, despite all of My sufferings and death, would be condemned to eternal damnation. I told the women to weep not for Me, but for themselves and their children. My greatest agonies were the agonies of My Most Sacred Heart. Oh, how I love you!

7. Ninth Station

9. Jesus Falls the Third Time

Jesus: I fell hard the third time. I was so weakened I could not go on. My body collapsed under the cross from such exhaustion! My child, My child, My greatest agonies were not the wounds to the body. They were the wounds I experienced to My heart. Do you know a little more now how I love you? It is in meditating on My Passion and death that you will realize My immense love for you. When you fall, when you struggle, I give you the grace to get up. I never give you more than you can handle. Your strength will come from Me. Come to My Eucharistic Heart. I am waiting for you this day. Oh, how I love you!

10. Jesus Is Stripped of His Garments

Jesus: They took Me to the hill to crucify Me. They angrily stripped Me of My garments. They took off My clothes to whip Me. They had covered My bloody wounds with a dirty purple robe. Now, total surrender-they took off My clothes. I showed you the way to surrender, always complying with the Will of the Father. It is in living in His Will that you will have peace and joy, and life eternal some day. Oh, how I love you!

       8
. Eleventh Station

11. They Nail Him to the Cross

R. See Mary as she holds the little Baby Jesus. See her as she washes His tender hands and feet. See her now as she watches as they pound into those same hands and feet the gigantic nails that fix Jesus to the cross.

Mary:
Oh, my dear ones, my heart was torn in my chest as they nailed His hands and feet to the cross. I ask you this day to walk the Passion with me and see through my eyes the love He has for you. He truly was nailed to the cross.

Jesus:
They pounded the nails into My first hand, then they stretched My body and nailed My other hand. The blood poured from these wounds that went totally through My hands. My pain was so immense, but then they nailed My feet! You do not know what pain I suffered, My child. My children, My children, for each one of you I suffered this pain. Oh, how I loved you!

9. Twelfth Station

12. Jesus Dies on the Cross

(Silence.)

R.
He hung for three agonizing hours on the cross against the darkened sky. His greatest agonies were not the agonies of His body, but those of His Heart for the great love He has for each and every soul.

Jesus:
I gave Myself to you, My dear ones. I gave My all. I hung with My arms spread in total surrender. My head was punctured; My hands and feet were nailed to the cross. I gave Myself to you. I give Myself to you this day in the Eucharist. I give Myself to you. I, God, give you Myself! What more do you want?

Song:
Oh, burning Heart, oh, Love divine, etc.

R.
They pierced His Heart with a lance and what flowed forth was blood and water, the sacramental life of the Church, water for Baptism and blood for the Eucharist. His life, death and resurrection live on in the Church this day.

10. Thirteenth Station

13. Jesus Is Taken Down from the Cross and Placed in the Arms of His Mother

R. His totally lifeless body was placed in the arms of His most loving Mother. As she had held the little baby body in her arms, she now received His bloodied, bruised body in her arms. This is how He obeyed the Father's Will. Jesus gave His life for us. The Father gave His only Son because He loves us so much. Mary, His Mother, our Mother and the Mother of the Church, is forever by His side. See Jesus in the arms of His loving Mother under the cross. This is love.

Mary:
I held His lifeless body in my arms. See through my eyes the love He has for you this day. He gives Himself to you today in the Eucharist. He loves you so much!

14. Jesus Is Locked in the Tomb

R. His enemies rolled the stone up to the tomb and were pleased to have buried Jesus. Mary, outside the tomb, wept bitterly. The cold reality that He was dead! But death has no power over Jesus for on the third day He rose, triumphant, from the tomb! We are partakers in His divine life. Death has no power over Jesus. He is with us this day. He comes to bring us life to the full. He loves us so much!

The Crucifixion

1. Matthew 27: 35-44

When they had finished crucifying him they shared out his clothing by casting lots, and then sat down and stayed there keeping guard over him.

Above his head was placed the charge against him; it read: ‘This is Jesus, the King of the Jews.’ Then two bandits were crucified with him, one on the right and one on the left.

The crucified Jesus is mocked

The passers–by jeered at him; they shook their heads and said, ‘So you would destroy the Temple and in three days rebuild it! Then save yourself if you are God’s son and come down from the cross!’ The chief priests with the scribes and elders mocked him in the same way, with the words, ‘He saved others; he cannot save himself. He is the king of Israel; let him come down from the cross now, and we will believe in him. He has put his trust in God; now let God rescue him if he wants him. For he did say, "I am God’s son." ’ Even the bandits who were crucified with him taunted him in the same way.

2. 30 Years Ago - August 23,1993 - On His Passion

Jesus: My dear child,

I was condemned to death, death on a cross. They gave Me a big cross and made Me carry it. They stood around and glared at Me. It weighed on My shoulder and I pulled at it until it finally moved. Every step was almost impossible as I dragged it, weighing so heavily on My shoulders.

3. My shoulder felt as if the bones inside would crack and the cross would fall through to the ground. I couldn’t drag it any more. I tried, I fell. I fell and its weight fell on Me. A guard hit Me with something sharp. It really hurt because he wanted Me to move, and fast! People were watching — on with the show! How dare I fall in the middle of the show! He hit Me again and the blow really stung Me. I got up because it hurt so badly. I tried to walk on.

4. My Mother was in the crowd. She looked at Me and her face looked red and hurt. Tears rolled down her cheeks like rain and as her eyes met Mine, I was hurt so by her sorrow! She was always by My side, silent and loving. She was My Mother of love! She is always there next to you when you suffer.

5. I fell again and he (the guard) really hit Me. It (the cross) was so heavy that he and I together could barely move it. It seemed as I walked, heavier with the sins of the world heaped on it. My hands were bleeding. Blood ran from the wounds of My thorns and My head throbbed, seeming to make the wounds in My head bleed even more. Some of the Blood was dried, some of it running all over My Body. I had so many cuts and bruises — and people watched and laughed!

6. I am Jesus, Son of the Living God, and they laughed and mimicked Me! Oh, such hardened hearts! How vile can men’s hearts become? The devil’s grip is paralyzing and crippling.

The walk was so long up a hill and over rocks — the cross had to be lifted over the rocks. My Body was bleeding so badly! My Heart was pounding. I knew that the salvation of all men depended on My love. Therefore, I went through such agony.

7. I thought of My intense love for you — that many would go to heaven because of My suffering — and I continued to the top of the hill. At the top they laid Me on the cross and with a big hammer nailed My hands to it. It was the worst (suffering) yet. My hands were nailed with big nails and the big hammer. Then, as if that weren’t enough, with a big nail they nailed through both feet.

8. Then they lifted the cross and banged it into (a hole in) the ground. My shoulders ached from how I hung. My head bobbed and My neck ached and they laughed and said, "Now save Yourself." I hurt so much! I suffered this way for hours — which seemed like forever — and they glared at Me and laughed! My Mother watched in such agony.

9. For love of you, to My death I gave you My Body. My child, I shed My Blood and gave you My life that you might be with Me forever in heaven — not for a day, a month or a year, but forever with Me in heaven.

I am the true Bread come down from heaven. He who eats My Flesh will have life forever. For the drink I give you is My Blood and food you eat is My Body. Who would lay down his life for a friend? I did, for you. I love you this much, child. Forget about those who reject you. You have My life that I gave you and I give you life eternal.

10. I am the One true God. I am the Light of life. He who abides in Me will have life eternal, for the drink I give is My Blood and the food I give is My Body. Drink and eat and have everlasting life.

My child, that is all you need to know. Love one another and be good that you may enter into My Kingdom.

Guiding Light - Reflect on the Word
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle B of the Litugical Year (2011/2012)
$ 10.00

Guiding Light homily series — Reflect on the Word — Cycle B     The Word leaves an impression on our souls. In my thoughts and reflections are born a more tangible understanding of these eternal concepts presented in the Gospels and the readings. Anyone can read a sentence, but not anyone can absorb it's true meaning. Truth, in this day and age, is almost a matter of opinion or individual entitlement. We believe that Christ's truth is our Roman Catholic Church. We, as priests, champion it's teachings; we are ambassadors for the Pope and Christ to those faces looking at us. We are the light by which our congregation reads to reflect upon real truth and we do it hand in hand. $10

Guiding Light - Steadfast to the Son
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle A of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light homily series — Steadfast to the Son — Cycle A    The sunflower is a great example of how we should be steadfastly guided by light. What a powerful thought that this exceptional plant is not stuck in one pose day in and day out, yet adaptable and magnetized to the sun. We feel the same about our Son. Our heads turns to face Christ as each day presents its challenges to find light. We join together like plants in a field and soak up the Son through the pulpit. We are a warm circle of strength using the wind of our breath to carry our priests' words, Christ's words, to new rich soil. $10

Guiding Light - Focusing on the Word
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle B of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light — Focusing on the Word — Cycle B    At times we may feel that our path to Christ is a bit "out of focus". Like the disciples in the Book of Mark, this ordinary life clouds our vision of Christ's Divinity. We may doubt the practicality or possibility of applying His teachings and example to our modern life. Cycle B's homilies are a "guiding light" to help us realize Jesus' Messianic greatness and His promise of better things to come. $10

Guiding Light - Feed My Soul
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle C of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light — Feed My Soul — Cycle C    In a world rapidly advancing and encouraging personal gain, we are faced with modern problems. There is a challenge to find time in our busy schedules for Sunday Mass or a family meal. We are able to research, shop, bank and even work without hearing one human voice. It is no wonder that we may often feel disconnected and famished at our week's end. In Fr. Joe's third book of homilies from Cycle C, we are reminded of the charity that Christ intended us to show each other. We have a calling to turn the other cheek and be the Good Samaritan to others. We are rewarded with the Father's kingdom and love when we are not worthy. We are not left alone or hungry. $10
