God calls us to be reconciled

Jesus: A person who never had any
intimacy with others
because of being a rival
to God's will
provoked another over
years to force this relationship
in hatred. They were starved of
proper interaction with others so
they made problems to force the other

Joel 2: 12-18
'But now declares Yahweh
come back to me with all your heart,
fasting, weeping, mourning.'
Tear your hearts and not your clothes,
and come back to Yahweh your God,

and he relents about inflicting disaster.

A prayer of contrition
