Pray for special intentions.

Prayer for Grace for our Country

Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

Sorrowful Mysteries in Thanksgiving

The Agony in the Garden

1. Jesus after the Last Supper took Peter, James and John into the Garden and told them to pray.

These were the same apostles He took up Mt. Tabor at the Transfiguration. So they saw Jesus with Elijah and Moses and transfigured at this special time, on Mt. Tabor, and now they see Jesus, as He is in the Garden, in great suffering.  In the Garden, Jesus sweat Blood because the suffering was so great.

2. The agony in the garden was after the last supper, where Jesus instituted the Eucharist.

After this tremendous experience at the Last Supper, Jesus went into the Garden.

He took these three Apostles so they would be a part of it.

3. Jesus prepared His Apostles in a very special way. They were afraid after they arrested Jesus and Peter had cut off the ear of the high priest's servant.

4. These Apostles had not yet experienced the special coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost and they were afraid. They were human.

5. We see Peter's fear when he is accused of being one of them and Peter denied Jesus three times.

6. Jesus went to the Apostles 3 times, in the Garden, and told them to not enter into temptation, but to pray. Jesus said pray, they had not understood what was about to happen.

7. Jesus told Peter at the Last Supper, he would deny Him three times, before the cock crows.

8. Jesus in His Divine knowing, in His Divine justice, knew all the men that would sin gravely and never make reparation for their sins, or even, say they were sorry.

9. Jesus’ anguish was so great, His blood fell to the ground.

10. Sometimes suffering is so great, waiting and thinking what will happen. Jesus knew, in His Divine knowing, everything that would happen. Jesus knew the men who would reject His gifts, and be condemned to hell for their hard-hearts and grave sins.

The Scourging at the Pillar

1. Jesus was tied to a pillar and the men whipped Jesus tearing His flesh and beating Him profusely. Jesus loved these men and suffered for their sins at the pillar.

2. Jesus emptied Himself because of His love for us. Jesus is love. Jesus gave His all in the bitter passion.

3. Jesus could have stopped it all, Jesus is the Son of God, but He came and gave Himself, to pay for our sins, He loves us so much.

Jesus is truly present in His Divinity and humanity in the Eucharist, Jesus gives us Himself today in the Eucharist.

4. We eat His Body and drink His blood. Jesus gave His all for love of us, so we can have eternal life someday, if we serve and love God.

5. Jesus shed His precious blood and was wounded at the pillar for our sins.

6. Wounds, we all suffer wounds of different kinds, in dealing with others, wounds of the heart, disappointments, unloving ways, wounds of the body, wounds from many things. Jesus wants us to live to please God, but we will suffer. Jesus knows how we suffer. Jesus paid the price for our sins.

Jesus suffered for others who sinned against us. What we do to others we do to Jesus.

7. Our Father created us and loves us so much, He sent Jesus, His only begotten Son into this world to pay for our sins and the sins of others.

8. Do we understand how much Jesus loves us that He emptied Himself and suffered for us so we can one day have eternal life, if we love and serve the Lord.

9. We need to trust Jesus, who loves us so much that He gave Himself like this so we can grow in greater life in Him.

10. Jesus wants us to love Him with our whole heart, our whole soul and our whole mind and love our neighbor as ourselves.

The Crowning with Thorns

1. Seeking dominance for dominance sake in pride is an enemy that keeps us from putting Jesus first in our lives, like the first commandment tells us we must do.

2. Pride is a deadly sin. We see Jesus who is the way, the truth and the life, who gave Himself, who allowed Himself to be crowned with thorns for the sins of pride and the sins of the mind.

3. Think of all the talents God has given us in men's minds to know things. God gave us these talents to help promote the Kingdom of God.

4. They mocked Jesus and crowned Him with a crown of thorns, they pounded into His head.

Think of blood running down His face and how they pounded His head, hurting His eyes, His ears and His teeth going into His tongue.

5. Envision Jesus' bloody face and head and eyes and these men mocking Jesus, mocked Him as King of the Jews.

6. They gave Jesus an ugly, dirty purple robe and a scepter, and they laughed at Him, they spit on Jesus, they mocked Jesus, the Son of God. Oh Jesus we are so very sorry for this terrible treatment given to You. We are sorry for our sins, Jesus.

7. Oh Divine God, we are so sorry for all the sin in the world and how men hurt others and lie about what they do, making right seem wrong, and wrong seem right.

8. Jesus is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords and He endured this treatment for our sins. What we do to others in sin we do to Jesus. Jesus paid the price for our sins and the sins of those who sinned against us.

8. We should identify our suffering with Jesus, who is Divinely just and suffered for all the sins of all men. Oh God we are so very sorry!!!!

9. God gives us Himself in the Eucharist. We were created in the image and likeness of God. Our true home is in heaven. We are commanded to love God with our whole heart, our whole soul and our whole being and love our neighbor as ourselves.

10. We love You so much Jesus. Help us to obey the first commandment that says:

        1. I, the Lord, am your God. You shall not have other gods besides me.

The Carrying of the Cross

1. From the Seven Sorrows - February 22, 1995

4. Jesus Carries His Cross

See the eyes that look at Mary, her tender infant child. See the child's Heart beat so tenderly, the Savior of the world!

See the eyes of Jesus and Mary as they met on Calvary. Mary's Heart knew Jesus' Heart so well! From the first moment of conception and throughout His life, Mary was so connected with Jesus and now she peered into His eyes. The crown of thorns adorned His Head! Blood ran down His face! A heavy cross on His back! Wounded, His whole body covered with bleeding wounds! And her whole life flashed before her, the life that she had spent with Jesus. This was the beloved child that she had held in her arms when Simeon told Mary that 'a sword, too, shall pierce your Heart, O Mary!'

2. Sing: See the Eyes that look at Mary

3. From the Seven Sorrows - November 26, 2021

4. Mary and Jesus meet on the way to Calvary

R. Oh Mary looked into the face of Jesus, His head beaten, bloodied and His head crowned with thorns.

Jesus was in such suffering, His torn body, carrying the heavy cross with our sins.

Jesus saw her red, tear-filled face, her pain so terrible, and Their eyes met in sorrow and joy of deep unity between this Mother and Son.

There is joy in deep suffering. It is unity, many times, deep unity to God.

Oh the eyes of Jesus met Mary, comfort and agony both. Comfort and agony beyond our comprehension.

Love is sacrifice, we see.

Love can be the deep suffering of carrying a cross too, or just daily suffering,

with addiction, loss, disease, heartache, abuse,

and many more...

Mary cries for she knew how much Jesus suffered and she suffered for men who reject God’s love, some losing their souls in serious sin without repenting - in stubborn anger and hatred.

And Mary cried for her children and a sword too will pierce your heart, Oh Mary. Amen

4. Song: A Song from Jesus

5. You know how some things can mount up. We can experience some sufferings in many parts of our lives, our relationships and we have to stop and say: Jesus we turn all this over to You. Jesus knows our suffering, Jesus understands when we have heart ache and illness. Jesus wept at the death of His friend Lazarus, Jesus knows our hearts.

6. Come Lord Jesus, fill us with Your love, fill us with the grace we need most, now.

7. We want to offer up all our sufferings as a sacrifice united to the Mass for the intentions we need in our lives, for the priests, the Church and the world.

8. Little sufferings can feel like crosses we have to endure in everyday life. We can identify our sufferings with Jesus today and ask Him to help us carry our crosses.

9. It is the mystery of suffering, but Fr. Carter says without suffering we cannot love. We can disappoint others and not even realize it many times. We are always learning as long as we live. To love, Fr. Carter says, we must have a willingness to suffer.

10. Come Holy Spirit, help us to know the will of God the Father for us. Many times when we put so much importance on things that aren't God's will, we make sufferings for ourselves, that need not be. Please Holy Spirit help us to endure the everyday happenings in our lives, as the Father intends for us. Please Holy Spirit infuse in our intellects: understanding, knowledge, wisdom and counsel so we can serve God in love as He intends. Help us to build the Kingdom of God in our lives. We love You, and thank God for all His Gifts, and giving us life.

The Crucifixion

1. Jesus Died on the Cross

Mary and John and Mary Magdalene was under the cross as Jesus was crucified.

Think of the sufferings that they endured. Jesus' thoughts were of us as

He died on the cross. Jesus gave us Mary our Mother, as our Mother from the cross.

2. Let's look at what Mary said about being there:

From the Seven Sorrows - November 26, 2021

5. Jesus Died on the Cross

R. What can we say of the suffering there.

Mary said it, crying as she spoke.

Mary’s Message - from the Rosary of August 27, 1996

Mary:  I stood beneath the cross of my Son, and my Heart was in such pain for I saw Him before my eyes. I saw Him covered with blood. I saw Him die. My Heart, my children, my Heart to watch my Son, but my Heart, my Heart, how I suffered for my little children of the world that give in to this world and give up the love of my Son. O my little children of light, I give you this message. Carry this light into the darkness for your Mother Mary, for I stood beneath the cross and I cried. I cried for the little ones. I cried for the young ones, the ones that do not care and will lose their souls. How do I make you see for you will not listen to me? What can I do? I come. I appear. I beg. I plead. I give you these gifts from my Son, and you reject me. I do not deliver messages very often anymore for I have been ignored. The message is the same. You do not read the messages I have given to you. Please help me. Help the little children. I appear. I appear. I appear, and I am ignored. I stood beneath the cross, and I cried. I cried, and my Heart was in such anguish for my little children, for I am searching for them this day as I searched for the Child Jesus. Please, please help me. I cannot hold back the hand of my Son any longer. I am Mary, your Mother. I ask you to help my children. You are my children of light. end of Mary's Message & excerpt

3. Can we ever imagine the invisible swords in the heart of Mary as she watched the excruciating suffering of her beloved Son, die on the cross from the crucifixion. Mary's face must have been covered with red and swollen from her constant crying and agony.

4. We can identify the suffering in our lives with Jesus. This helps us in being more united in His suffering in His passion and crucifixion.

5. Think how hard it is to know that you have to go through hard events in our lives and many times wait and wait. Now look at Jesus' face on the cross. Jesus hung for 3 hours on the cross to His death.

6. Jesus' hands were nailed with big nails. Jesus' arms were stretched.
Jesus' feet were nailed to the cross. Jesus emptied Himself for us. Jesus loves us so much.

7. Jesus was full of wounds, He shed His precious blood and was bloodied and beaten raw.

8. To top it off, His head was crowned with a crown of thorns, His head beaten and bloodied and He hung - for 3 hours to His death!!!

9. From the Seven Sorrows - November 26, 2021

6. Jesus is taken down from the Cross

R. Mary received Jesus’ body under the cross.

Mary touched the lifeless body of her precious Son, Jesus.

It has come full circle, Simeon told her as she brought her little baby there now 33 years later, what Simeon said happened.

A lifetime of suffering and joy, God the Father has allowed Mary to appear 27 years to deliver her message. November 5, 2021 in Clearwater she cried, "Souls will go to hell tonight, do not block my message."

10. From the Seven Sorrows - November 26, 2021

7. Jesus is Locked in the Tomb

R. Imagine the sorrow in Mary’s Heart. Jesus died. Jesus was locked in the tomb.

And Simeon said

"This child is destined for the fall and rising of many in Israel."

And a sword too will pierce your heart, oh Mary.

Song: At the cross her station keeping

Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle B of the Litugical Year (2011/2012)
$ 10.00

Guiding Light homily series — Reflect on the Word — Cycle B     The Word leaves an impression on our souls. In my thoughts and reflections are born a more tangible understanding of these eternal concepts presented in the Gospels and the readings. Anyone can read a sentence, but not anyone can absorb it's true meaning. Truth, in this day and age, is almost a matter of opinion or individual entitlement. We believe that Christ's truth is our Roman Catholic Church. We, as priests, champion it's teachings; we are ambassadors for the Pope and Christ to those faces looking at us. We are the light by which our congregation reads to reflect upon real truth and we do it hand in hand. $10

Guiding Light - Steadfast to the Son
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle A of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light homily series — Steadfast to the Son — Cycle A    The sunflower is a great example of how we should be steadfastly guided by light. What a powerful thought that this exceptional plant is not stuck in one pose day in and day out, yet adaptable and magnetized to the sun. We feel the same about our Son. Our heads turns to face Christ as each day presents its challenges to find light. We join together like plants in a field and soak up the Son through the pulpit. We are a warm circle of strength using the wind of our breath to carry our priests' words, Christ's words, to new rich soil. $10

Guiding Light - Focusing on the Word
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle B of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light — Focusing on the Word — Cycle B    At times we may feel that our path to Christ is a bit "out of focus". Like the disciples in the Book of Mark, this ordinary life clouds our vision of Christ's Divinity. We may doubt the practicality or possibility of applying His teachings and example to our modern life. Cycle B's homilies are a "guiding light" to help us realize Jesus' Messianic greatness and His promise of better things to come. $10

Guiding Light - Feed My Soul
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle C of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light — Feed My Soul — Cycle C    In a world rapidly advancing and encouraging personal gain, we are faced with modern problems. There is a challenge to find time in our busy schedules for Sunday Mass or a family meal. We are able to research, shop, bank and even work without hearing one human voice. It is no wonder that we may often feel disconnected and famished at our week's end. In Fr. Joe's third book of homilies from Cycle C, we are reminded of the charity that Christ intended us to show each other. We have a calling to turn the other cheek and be the Good Samaritan to others. We are rewarded with the Father's kingdom and love when we are not worthy. We are not left alone or hungry. $10
