Prayer for Grace for our Country
Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

R. There is a loving God that
watches over us even when
we do not see Him.God heal our wounds and
help us in our suffering and
pain.Oh Lord be gentle to us to
the end of our lives and
show us a golden door of
glory.Where there is law there is
injustice.
1 Corinthians 13: 1-13
Though I command languages both human and angelic—if I speak without love, I am no more than a gong booming or a cymbal clashing. And though I have the power of prophecy, to penetrate all mysteries and knowledge, and though I have all the faith necessary to move mountains—if I am without love, I am nothing. Though I should give away to the poor all that I possess, and even give up my body to be burned—if I am without love, it will do me no good whatever.
Love is always patient and kind; love is never jealous; love is not boastful or conceited, it is never rude and never seeks its own advantage, it does not take offence or store up grievances. Love does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but finds its joy in the truth. It is always ready to make allowances, to trust, to hope and to endure whatever comes.
Love never comes to an end. But if there are prophecies, they will be done away with; if tongues, they will fall silent; and if knowledge, it will be done away with. For we know only imperfectly, and we prophesy imperfectly; but once perfection comes, all imperfect things will be done away with. When I was a child, I used to talk like a child, and see things as a child does, and think like a child; but now that I have become an adult, I have finished with all childish ways. Now we see only reflections in a mirror, mere riddles, but then we shall be seeing face to face. Now I can know only imperfectly; but then I shall know just as fully as I am myself known.
As it is, these remain: faith, hope and love, the three of them; and the greatest of them is love.

Love when we know peace,
below the rough waters of
life, a peace only God can

healing, giving sight to the
blind, healing the paralyzed.God has all the power, to us
we must put our trust in Him
and pray for greater faith,
hope and love.Love heals, love is the
warmth of the reality Jesus’
Heart burns for us in the
coldest night.Praise Him in the suffering
and know He allowed the
most frigid winter, snow and
ice storm and His Heart
burns for us every second,
every minute, in night and
day, a constant vigil for the
weary, beaten traveler, a
light that never goes out or
is extinguished, ever burning.Jesus is the Light of the
world.In War and Peace - God is
there and His life is eternal.Oh death, where is your
sting?There is no sting when we
realize there is life after death

He is life!!
In the coldest night, God is
there, we must turn to Him.Jesus is the way, the truth
and the life.
Life is in Him. Jesus is the
Light of the world.We are vulnerable here
below, life is a struggle. We

far worse to lose one’s soul
in battle with Satan.The night may be ice cold
and frigid, men can fight a
war for peace, there is an
aggressor many times and

Jesus put back the ear

hearts filled with love, His
love in us.Jesus came in quiet like
Elijah and in thunder to calm
a storm, Jesus has power
over the elements, He
walked on water, God is a
God of miracles, God is all
powerful.Memories are gifts, that tell
us more is to come. Faith,
Hope and love the greatest
of these is love.God is strength, in Him we
rest.There is a blessing with Maximilian
Kolbe, where a saint died and a
father with children was spared.God is always watching us.
He will take us when He
decides.Love does not hate.
Love is not jealous.
Love is not self seeking.Love is kind.
Love cares for the other.
We are blessed in so many

Mysteries of Light in Thanksgiving
The Baptism of Jesus
1. This is a mystery.
2. Jesus told John the Baptist to baptize Him.
3. John did this in the Jordon.
4. Matthew 3: 13-17
Then Jesus appeared: he came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptised by John. John tried to dissuade him, with the words, ‘It is I who need baptism from you, and yet you come to me!’ But Jesus replied, ‘Leave it like this for the time being; it is fitting that we should, in this way, do all that uprightness demands.’ Then John gave in to him. And when Jesus had been baptised he at once came up from the water, and suddenly the heavens opened and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and coming down on him. And suddenly there was a voice from heaven, ‘This is my Son, the Beloved; my favour rests on him.’
5. This began Jesus' public life.
6. Jesus had lived the quiet life since He was 12 after the finding in the temple.
7. Jesus worked many miracles and gave many teachings in His public life.
8. Jesus did this until His Passion and death, three years later.
9. The Pascal Mystery: Death / Resurrection.
10. God has all the power.
The Marriage at Cana
1. John 2: 1-10
On the third day there was a wedding at Cana in Galilee. The mother of Jesus was there, and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited. And they ran out of wine, since the wine provided for the feast had all been used, and the mother of Jesus said to him, ‘They have no wine.’ Jesus said, ‘Woman, what do you want from me? My hour has not come yet.’ His mother said to the servants, ‘Do whatever he tells you.’ There were six stone water jars standing there, meant for the ablutions that are customary among the Jews: each could hold twenty or thirty gallons. Jesus said to the servants, ‘Fill the jars with water,’ and they filled them to the brim. Then he said to them, ‘Draw some out now and take it to the president of the feast.’ They did this; the president tasted the water, and it had turned into wine. Having no idea where it came from—though the servants who had drawn the water knew—the president of the feast called the bridegroom and said, ‘Everyone serves good wine first and the worse wine when the guests are well wined; but you have kept the best wine till now.’
2. Jesus worked His first miracle of His public life at the wedding of Cana.
3. Jesus worked this first miracle when His Mother Mary asked Him to do this there.
4. Jesus changed water into wine.
5. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass goes on now around the world.
6. The Mass is the sacrifice of Calvary, sacramentally made present.
7. Tremedous grace is released in the Mass.
8. The body of Christ must pray for release of these graces for our needs.
9. We should pray our Morning Offering every day, united to the Mass praying for grace for our needs.
10. In the Shepherds of Christ we pray for the priests, the Church and the world.
Building of the Kingdom of God
1. God gives each of us a unique calling in our vocation to be involved in living in the Christic image according to that vocation.
2. We are to be involved by our talents, state in life, etc. according to God's designs.
3. Fr. Carter began these prayer chapters praying for the priests, the Church and the world.
4. The world belongs to Christ.
5. The Church, the world, and the individual Christian are in the state of becoming more and more in the image of Christ.
6. We should find joy in the goodness of the world.
7. The world should reflect the image of Jesus more and more.
8. God has put us in this world to help in the building of His Kingdom.
9. We are to know, love and honor God.
10. We need to go to Mass every Sunday and lead our families to go to worship and love God. People, children, families need this grace to deal with the problems they have. They should go to Mass every Sunday.
The third commandment tells us: 3. Remember to keep holy the Sabbath day.
The Transfiguration
1. Mark 9: 2-8
Six days later, Jesus took with him Peter and James and John and led them up a high mountain on their own by themselves. There in their presence he was transfigured: his clothes became brilliantly white, whiter than any earthly bleacher could make them. Elijah appeared to them with Moses; and they were talking to Jesus. Then Peter spoke to Jesus, ‘Rabbi,’ he said, ‘it is wonderful for us to be here; so let us make three shelters, one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.’ He did not know what to say; they were so frightened. And a cloud came, covering them in shadow; and from the cloud there came a voice, ‘This is my Son, the Beloved. Listen to him.’ Then suddenly, when they looked round, they saw no one with them any more but only Jesus.
2. Jesus showed the 3 Apostles, Himself, transfigured.
3. Jesus was speaking to Moses and Elijah.
4. Jesus was full of brilliant, white light.
5. Elijah heard God in the quiet.
6. Moses heard God in the burning bush, thunder, dividing of the Red Sea.
7. God has control over the elements. He showed us a miracle when He walked on water. He quieted the storms, Jesus showed Himself in power in miracles, His power is unmistakable.
8. God can be quiet, and God can be like thunder.
9. God loves us so very much, He communicates to us in meditative prayer.
10. Like the prophet Elijah we need to be close in our relationship with God in our own hearts.
The Institution of the Eucharist
1. Matthew 26: 26-29
Now as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had said the blessing he broke it and gave it to the disciples. ‘Take it and eat,’ he said, ‘this is my body.’ Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he handed it to them saying, ‘Drink from this, all of you, for this is my blood, the blood of the covenant, poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. From now on, I tell you, I shall never again drink wine until the day I drink the new wine with you in the kingdom of my Father.’

Jesus: How, child, do I, Jesus, tell you I love you? You hold on to silly things when God is in your midst and is ardently loving you. I am Jesus Christ, the Son of God. I love you so, My dear and ardently loved children. I remain with you this day in the Blessed Sacrament, the same Jesus Who died a brutal death on the Cross.

XXXV, 232-233) 7Through the Eucharistic Sacrifice Christ the Lord desired to set before us in a very special way this remarkable union whereby we are united one with another and with our divine Head, a union that no word of praise can ever sufficiently express. For in this sacrifice the sacred ministers act not only as the representative of our Saviour, but as the representative of the whole Mystical Body and of each one of the faithful. Again, in this act of sacrifice, the faithful of Christ, united by the common bond of devotion and prayer, offer to the eternal Father through the hands of the priest, whose prayer alone has made it present on the altar, the Immaculate Lamb, the most acceptable victim of praise and propitiation for the Church’s universal need. 8. A Prayer before the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass
Let me be a holy sacrifice and unite with God in the sacrament of His greatest love.
I want to be one in Him in this act of love, where He gives Himself to me and I give myself as a sacrifice to Him. Let me be a holy sacrifice as I become one with Him in this my act of greatest love to Him.
Let me unite with Him more, that I may more deeply love Him. May I help make reparation to His adorable Heart and the heart of His Mother, Mary. With greatest love, I offer myself to You and pray that You will accept my sacrifice of greatest love. I give myself to You and unite in Your gift of Yourself to me. Come and possess my soul.
Cleanse me, strengthen me, heal me. Dear Holy Spirit act in the heart of Mary to make me more and more like Jesus.
Father, I offer this my sacrifice, myself united to Jesus in the Holy Spirit to You. Help me to love God more deeply in this act of my greatest love.
Give me the grace to grow in my knowledge, love and service of You and for this to be my greatest participation in the Mass. Give me the greatest graces to love You so deeply in this Mass, You who are so worthy of my love.

Oh Lamb of God, Who take away the sins of the world, come and act on my soul most intimately. I surrender myself, as I ask for the grace to let go, to just be as I exist in You and You act most intimately on my soul. You are the Initiator. I am the soul waiting Your favors as You act in me.
