Prayer for Grace for our Country
Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

Joyful Mysteries in Thanksgiving
The Annunciation
1. Luke 1: 26-38
In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a town in Galilee called Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man named Joseph, of the House of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary. He went in and said to her, ‘Rejoice, you who enjoy God’s favour! The Lord is with you.’ She was deeply disturbed by these words and asked herself what this greeting could mean, but the angel said to her, ‘Mary, do not be afraid; you have won God’s favour. Look! You are to conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you must name him Jesus. He will be great and will be called Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his ancestor David; he will rule over the House of Jacob for ever and his reign will have no end.’ Mary said to the angel, ‘But how can this come about, since I have no knowledge of man?’ The angel answered, ‘The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will cover you with its shadow. And so the child will be holy and will be called Son of God. And I tell you this too: your cousin Elizabeth also, in her old age, has conceived a son, and she whom people called barren is now in her sixth month, for nothing is impossible to God.’ Mary said, ‘You see before you the Lord’s servant, let it happen to me as you have said.’ And the angel left her.
2. The angel Gabriel asked Mary to be the Mother of God.
Mary was chosen by God.
Mary was conceived without sin.3. Mary is the New Eve. Mary obeyed the Father's will in all she did.
4. Mary has an Immaculate Heart. Mary is pure and holy.
5. Mary conceived Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit.
6. Adam and Eve sinned and sin entered the world, and disorder entered the world, and disease entered the world, and death entered the world.
7. Mary is pure gift that God gave her to carry the Savior of the human race.
Mary is the highest human person. Jesus is a Divine Person with 2 natures: a Divine nature and a human nature.8. Mary is the Queen of Peace.
9. God created us in the image and likeness of God. We are to live a holy life to grow more and more into this image of Jesus.
10. Jesus came and He gives us the Church and the priest and the 7 sacraments. In baptism God gives us a sharing in His life. God elevates our knowing and loving capacity in baptism. God gives us supernatural faith, hope, and love in baptism. God dwells in the graced, baptized soul.
The Visitation
1. Luke 1: 39-45
Mary set out at that time and went as quickly as she could into the hill country to a town in Judah. She went into Zechariah’s house and greeted Elizabeth. Now it happened that as soon as Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the child leapt in her womb and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. She gave a loud cry and said, ‘Of all women you are the most blessed, and blessed is the fruit of your womb. Why should I be honoured with a visit from the mother of my Lord? Look, the moment your greeting reached my ears, the child in my womb leapt for joy. Yes, blessed is she who believed that the promise made her by the Lord would be fulfilled.’
2. "...For nothing is impossible with God." Luke 1: 37
3. When Mary went to visit her cousin Elizabeth, the babe in Elizabeth's womb leapt for joy at the sight of Mary and Jesus in Mary's womb.
4. Mary filled with the Holy Spirit cried out the Magnificat.
5. "My soul doth magnify the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior."
6. Jesus is our Redeemer!
7. John the Baptist was asked to baptize Jesus in the Jordon when Jesus began His public life.
8. John suffered by having his head cut off and Jesus would suffer and be crucified to His death.
9. These are the mysteries of the rosary. We need to pray to the Holy Spirit when we pray the rosary for insight into the Mysteries of the rosary.
10. Elizabeth was thought barren and in her old age she conceived John: ... for nothing is impossible with God.
The Birth of Jesus
1. Luke 2:1-7
Now it happened that at this time Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be made of the whole inhabited world. This census—the first—took place while Quirinius was governor of Syria, and everyone went to be registered, each to his own town. So Joseph set out from the town of Nazareth in Galilee for Judaea, to David’s town called Bethlehem, since he was of David’s House and line, in order to be registered together with Mary, his betrothed, who was with child. Now it happened that, while they were there, the time came for her to have her child, and she gave birth to a son, her first–born. She wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid him in a manger because there was no room for them in the living–space.

4. When we follow Jesus in the world today, many times, we will be rejected. Jesus was rejected. There was not a place for Jesus to lay His head. He was born in a stable.
5. John 3: 16
For this is how God loved the world:
he gave his only Son,
so that everyone who believes in him
may not perish
but may have eternal life.6. Many times when we are afraid, we may not know what to do. Jesus wants us to go to a quiet place and talk to Him. Jesus is always with us.
7. Jesus came a baby into the world, not a high and mighty king, He came and showed us we can trust Him, we can love Him, we can turn to Him.

9. We realize how much Jesus loves us His creatures that He comes in the womb of a human person, the Virgin Mary. God loves us so much. Jesus says "I am with you always!!'
10. We carry out the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus in our lives. When we are rejected in our lives, we must remember how Jesus was rejected. We can identify our sufferings with Jesus and understand more His great love for us.
Oh God, today there is much sufferings in this world, in our lives, many times we are wounded by those we love very much. we realize a little how You suffered so much for those You loved so much. Oh God, thank You for coming into this world and being our Savior, Oh God, we love You!!!
The Presentation of Jesus in the Temple
1. Luke 2: 21-24
When the eighth day came and the child was to be circumcised, they gave him the name Jesus, the name the angel had given him before his conception. And when the day came for them to be purified in keeping with the Law of Moses, they took him up to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord—observing what is written in the Law of the Lord: Every first–born male must be consecrated to the Lord—and also to offer in sacrifice, in accordance with what is prescribed in the Law of the Lord, a pair of turtledoves or two young pigeons.

Simeon blessed them and said to Mary his mother, ‘Look, he is destined for the fall and for the rise of many in Israel, destined to be a sign that is opposed—

and a sword will pierce your soul too — so that the secret thoughts of many may be laid bare.'
5. Mary's heart was invisibly pierced with a sword. Mary has such a pure heart, Mary wants a relationship with us, Mary can love more than any earthly Mother. Mary can teach us how to love Jesus.
6. When we go to Mary's Immaculate Heart she takes us to Jesus' precious, loving, Sacred Heart.
7. Mary is disrespected so much in the world this day. Mary is looked down upon. God wants us to love and honor Mary. In the Shepherds of Christ Prayers we have the Litany of Mary, it is so beautiful.
8. Sometimes we pray a speedy novena which is very powerful, we sing nine Hail Mary's and then sing the Memorarie.
9. The Seven Sorrows of Mary are also in the Shepherd of Christ Prayers. They are:
(1) The prophecy of Simeon
(2) The flight into Egypt
(3) The loss of the Child Jesus in the temple
(4) Jesus and Mary meet on the way to the cross
(5) Jesus dies on the cross
(6) Jesus is taken down from the cross and laid in Mary's arms
(7) The burial of Jesus
10. There are 5 blasphemies against the Blessed Virgin Mary, they are:

1. Blasphemies against the Immaculate Conception.
2. Blasphemies against Her Perpetual Virginity.
3. Blasphemies against Her Divine Maternity, in refusing at the same time to recognize Her as the Mother of men.
4. The blasphemies of those who publicly seek to sow in the hearts of children indifference or scorn, or even hatred of this Immaculate Mother.
5. The offenses of those who outrage Her directly in Her holy images.46

The Finding of Jesus in the Temple
1. Luke 2: 41-52
Every year his parents used to go to Jerusalem for the feast of the Passover. When he was twelve years old, they went up for the feast as usual. When the days of the feast were over and they set off home, the boy Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem without his parents knowing it. They assumed he was somewhere in the party, and it was only after a day’s journey that they went to look for him among their relations and acquaintances. When they failed to find him they went back to Jerusalem looking for him everywhere.
It happened that, three days later, they found him in the Temple, sitting among the teachers, listening to them, and asking them questions; and all those who heard him were astounded at his intelligence and his replies. They were overcome when they saw him, and his mother said to him, ‘My child, why have you done this to us? See how worried your father and I have been, looking for you.’ He replied, ‘Why were you looking for me? Did you not know that I must be in my Father’s house?’ But they did not understand what he meant. He went down with them then and came to Nazareth and lived under their authority. His mother stored up all these things in her heart. And Jesus increased in wisdom, in stature, and in favour with God and with people.
2. Jesus was 12 years old when Mary and Joseph took Him up to the temple.
3. While they were there Joseph thought Jesus was with Mary and Mary thought Jesus was with Joseph and He was lost in the temple.
4. Mary and Joseph searched for Jesus for 3 days, they found Jesus talking to the doctors in the temple. All were amazed at His answers.
5. Jesus then went down with Mary and Joseph and was obedient to them.
6. This began Jesus' quiet life from age 12 to 30. The beginning of Jesus' public life was when John the Baptist baptized Him at the Jordon.
7. There are many souls today that have lost their way in the world and are rejecting God and living in sin.
8. Mary tells us to pray for the souls that are living in mortal sin with hard hearts.
9. We were created in the image and likeness of Jesus. We are here on earth to grow in that image and likeness.
10. As members of the mystical body of Christ we can unite to the Mass and pray to God to outpour His grace for our world.
