I want to emphasize that the retreat starts
on February 10, 2004 in the evening.
The retreat in China will begin with the
6:20 prayers on Tuesday night.
Silence is then observed until the end of
the retreat except for special discussion or
participating in the prayers.
Those coming to the retreat on February 11, 2004
should be prepared and should have begun
the retreat the night of February 10, 2004 as the
others have in China.

retreat will begin with a talk in
the Church on February 11, 2004 at 9:00.
All there should have eaten breakfast
before this time.
Exposed Adoration will begin after Mass at 12:00,
noon on February 11, 2004
Others than the retreatants are asked to do the adoration
after 12AM —
so the retreatants can get a good nights sleep.
This is not the time for the retreatants to go on a diet. You
will need your strength and the proper rest.
This is a special Shepherds of Christ —
St. Ignatius retreat. It is not the same
as other retreats on the Spiritual Exercises
although we use the book for some of
the retreat.
These traditional retreats on the Spiritual Exercises
are very important retreats.
Our method here is to employ the principles
of Spiritual Exercises and the basic
principles of the Shepherds of Christ meditations to
lead to a deeper love union with God
and to help strengthen the vocation of
servants, handmaids, apostles, associates,
prayer apostles, Apostles of the Eucharistic
Heart, priests who are members of the
Shepherds of Christ Movement and called to
this vocation.
This retreat centers around the four sets of
mysteries of the rosary.
