From Fr. Joe's homily
R. Introduction
Isaiah is hearing his
calling from God. He exclaims
what he sees and hears.
He is aware of his own sinfulness –
This is Peter's reaction when he sees the
miraculous catch of fish –
He says "I am a sinful man"
Here I am Lord, send me.
We meet Christ in the miracle of the
catching of the fish.
Today's Readings
In the year of King Uzziah's death I saw the Lord seated on a high and lofty throne; his train filled the sanctuary. Above him stood seraphs, each one with six wings: two to cover its face, two to cover its feet and two for flying; and they were shouting these words to each other:
Holy, holy, holy is Yahweh Sabaoth.
His glory fills the whole earth. The door-posts shook at the sound of their shouting, and the Temple was full of smoke. Then I said:
'Woe is me! I am lost,
for I am a man of unclean lips
and I live among a people of unclean lips,
and my eyes have seen the King,
Yahweh Sabaoth.'Then one of the seraphs flew to me, holding in its hand a live coal which it had taken from the altar with a pair of tongs. With this it touched my mouth and said:
'Look, this has touched your lips,
your guilt has been removed
and your sin forgiven.'I then heard the voice of the Lord saying:
'Whom shall I send? Who will go for us?'And I said, 'Here am I, send me.'
Psalm 138: 1-5
I thank you, Yahweh, with all my heart,
for you have listened to the cry I uttered.
In the presence of angels I sing to you,
I bow down before your holy Temple.I praise your name for your faithful love and your constancy;
your promises surpass even your fame.
You heard me on the day when I called,
and you gave new strength to my heart.
All the kings of the earth give thanks to you, Yahweh,
when they hear the promises you make;
they sing of Yahweh's ways,
'Great is the glory of Yahweh!'Though I live surrounded by trouble
you give me life — to my enemies' fury!
You stretch out your right hand and save me,
Yahweh will do all things for me.
Yahweh, your faithful love endures for ever,
do not abandon what you have made.
1 Corinthians 15: 1-11
I want to make quite clear to you, brothers, what the message of the gospel that I preached to you is; you accepted it and took your stand on it, and you are saved by it, if you keep to the message I preached to you; otherwise your coming to believe was in vain. The tradition I handed on to you in the first place, a tradition which I had myself received, was that Christ died for our sins, in accordance with the scriptures, and that he was buried; and that on the third day, he was raised to life, in accordance with the scriptures; and that he appeared to Cephas; and later to the Twelve; and next he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers at the same time, most of whom are still with us, though some have fallen asleep; then he appeared to James, and then to all the apostles. Last of all he appeared to me too, as though I was a child born abnormally.
For I am the least of the apostles and am not really fit to be called an apostle, because I had been persecuting the Church of God; but what I am now, I am through the grace of God, and the grace which was given to me has not been wasted. Indeed, I have worked harder than all the others – not I, but the grace of God which is with me. Anyway, whether it was they or I, this is what we preach and what you believed.
Luke 5: 1-11
Now it happened that he was standing one day by the Lake of Gennesaret, with the crowd pressing round him listening to the word of God, when he caught sight of two boats at the water’s edge. The fishermen had got out of them and were washing their nets. He got into one of the boats—it was Simon’s—and asked him to put out a little from the shore. Then he sat down and taught the crowds from the boat.
When he had finished speaking he said to Simon, ‘Put out into deep water and pay out your nets for a catch.’ Simon replied, ‘Master, we worked hard all night long and caught nothing, but if you say so, I will pay out the nets.’ And when they had done this they netted such a huge number of fish that their nets began to tear, so they signalled to their companions in the other boat to come and help them; when these came, they filled both boats to sinking point.
When Simon Peter saw this he fell at the knees of Jesus saying, ‘Leave me, Lord; I am a sinful man.’ For he and all his companions were completely awestruck at the catch they had made; so also were James and John, sons of Zebedee, who were Simon’s partners. But Jesus said to Simon, ‘Do not be afraid; from now on it is people you will be catching.’ Then, bringing their boats back to land they left everything and followed him.
R. Last Sunday before Ash Wednesday –
Here is some technical about scripture –
Today's Gospel is from St. Luke –
Jesus hadn't even asked Apostles
to follow Him.
There is the story and the miraculous catch of fish
in St. John's Gospel – This occurred after
Jesus' resurrection.
Most scholars think there is only one
miraculous catch of fish in St. John's Gospel.
John & Luke tell it a little differently, but
same story. Stories were passed on orally.
The Gospels are not always in the
perfect sync in time – then when
Gospel writer wrote it they were
not exact about time – they were
interested in telling the Good News.
When the events come from 2 sources
that is a really good chance of
authenticity. They were interested in the
issue not same time.
The Gospel is Luke today, so we talk about
that – Luke tells us it happened
before Jesus called Peter to follow Him.
Jesus told Peter from now on he would
be catching men.
We know what happens to fish –
Fish gets fried and eaten –
Peter is supposed to not
do this – Peter is told he
is to bring them to light –
capture them alive –
People will blessed to have
fullness of life in heaven.
Jesus is writing like a prophet
He says you will be catching
people –
Jesus never lies when He
promises us –
He promises those who believe
in Him will have eternal life.
He promises about baptism that we would
be born again and share in His life.
He promises about confession –
our sins will be forgiven.
In Holy Communion He promises "This is
My Body"
In the miraculous miracle of fish
we see Jesus walked along the sea and
said come follow Me.
They sensed His Divinity and power.
They dropped everything and followed Him –
Jesus tells them they will have
suffering, they will be rejected.
Jesus is who stands out in the Gospel,
but then Simon Peter stands out next –
We see Peter stands out as a
leader a lot after Jesus.
Peter was dead when Luke
wrote his Gospel –
Why do they make such
a big thing about Peter's job
because his office remains –
We see Peter's role remaining in the Church.
We see Peter's role in the Church
the Pope's role in the Church.

R. The ultimate goal of all of us should be eternal
life, to have the beatific vision.
Each person is unique. We work in happiness
according to the vocation God has called us to.
God has given a man a calling. If a man
accepts that calling he has a responsibility
to God for what he is called to do by God.
What binds a person in a given vocation?
We are called by God to live a life of love –
love of God first, love of our neighbor as
ourselves –
This love and our efforts to live in love,
likened to God – unites us more and more to God,
who is love.
We are to discipline ourselves and not give
into satan who attempts to tempt a man to
give in to his feelings against what God wants
for attention and drama.
Satan is real. A person can become a
slave to his feelings that he gives in when
satan tempts him to try to ruin things for
attention. A person may become so addicted
to living in excitement he keeps himself
in constant chaos working out the unfinished
business of his past.
God intends us to accept the moral responsibility
of our vocation. A man in a particular vocation
is called to support the ministries for which
his vocation is called to support.
A person can have problems in their life
seeking drama and attention when dealing
in their vocation because they are acting-out
unfinished issues that have not been
healed from their past life. Life long
they can continue the merry-go-round called
denial as they act out the same unresolved
issues of the past.
God called us in our vocation to be guided
as we interact with others to help in the
building of His Kingdom, but a man can be
so enslaved to keep fighting, arguing and
holding out as satan continues tempting
him, to act-out issues from his past –
it can be victimhood – where a person sees
themselves a victim and continues life threatening
issues to always be on a treadmill of chaos.
It can be loss of power issues – where he
is constantly trying to get power back from
innocent others for his loss of power
of the past, of how he lives now, but
feels very threatened and dominated by
some – so he dominates and threatens
others to act-out his unresolved issues
now or in the past.
Acting-out can be how a person becomes
enslaved to unmet needs with the family
from the past, relationships with children
now – a whole set of problems are
acted-out from control, to attention, to drama,
to power.
This St. Ignatius refers to as inordinate
attachments.
The purpose of the spiritual exercises is
this.
From The Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius,
by Louis J. Puhl, S.J. p. 1121. SPIRITUAL EXERCISES
Which have as their purpose the conquest of self
and the regulation of one's life in such a way that
no decision is made under the influence of any
inordinate attachment
R. God intends us to walk hand-in-hand
and to interact and work with others
in healthy and loving relationships that
help us to grow more and more in the
image of God. We are preparing for our
eternal vocation with God forever in
the beatific vision.
We are to die to those ways that are
keeping us stuck and stopping us from
living in greater purity.
We need to work with others, to
see our life here is for conversion as
Our Lady of Fatima called us to almost
Fear is a big way satan works. Fear of
abandonment, childhood fears.
I love the book "Where the Wild Things
Are."
The little boy has a fear of his basement
and he envisions monsters down there
and so he doesn't want to go there –
It is shown as a serious matter and it
gets bigger and bigger –
At least he knows what his fear is.
The Merry-Go-Round called Denial
can be like an endless play somebody plays
hurting themselves, acting-out the past –
going round and round, staying isolated,
sending people away that are needed for
the vocation someone is called to by God
to build up a particular institution,
but they are closed down and want their
space and don't want to trust others,
work with others and can be afraid
to feel things of the heart.
We are helped in our vocation to
grow to be more perfected in relationships.
God has a plan for us and He wants us
to contribute to the building of the Kingdom of God.
God wants us to do His will – not too much
of a thing – not too little.
The person addicted to attention,
drama can come in at the most
inopportune times because satan presses
on them when they are to be supporting
what God is called them to – they become
a rival and try to stop the very thing
God calls them to.
In the Movement God has called the
13th, the 5th as special prayer days.
Our Lady has appeared to me 5th after
5th.

R. I think of the scripture where Jesus
did not work many miracles, He said
where the faith of the men was so weak.
When I see Jesus, when I think of
God, it is not extraordinary for God
to work miracles.
God is God, God is Divine – If we
see God through our limited vision we
can see God quite distortedly! We see
ourselves distortedly, we see ourselves
distortedly, couple this with a man – who
sees darkly – his whole life he is
seeing through the half-empty eyes or
even shutting down eyes of opportunity –
He expects things to not work out –
coupled with fear and isolation and
his closed down reality the way he sees –
he doesn't intend for things to work –
nor is he attractive to men coming who
are seeking miracles, who want to
increase in faith and possibilities –
Because of original sin our vision
is distorted, vision of God – distorted
vision of ourselves – distorted
vision of others – distorted –
Couple this with immaturity – acting-out
on the pity-pot, drama, seeking attention –
seeking dominance and control
for dominance sake –
How do you grow seeds on a side-walk?
How do you grow anything where a
man seeks to find a place he can call
a sterile reality his stomping ground?
So satan can work there – in the
enslavement, in the darkness, to close
down, to be always working on issues
that stop the progress of working on
building up – making advances in
the Ministries of God.
God gives us a moral responsibility in
our vocation to be as He wants us to be.
To choose to do nothing and be shut down
is to choose.
If God calls us to something and I
say "I did nothing wrong," because
I did nothing, I am acting in doing
nothing.
We are uniquely called by God to
help spread the Kingdom of God in the way
He calls us.
We are to live in greater purity, maturing
in our ways, not living to act-out –
stay dark and have an attitude
"It can't work and I don't need anyone
in my space."
God gives us gifts – We see the day-light
every day here. The night comes we rest and
then the light of day – day after day after
day – we see the light after the dark
night –
God puts guides in our lives to help us
to grow to be as God wants us to be –
We can't look at the sun – too much
light can blind us – sometimes I can
hardly take it when God gives me a
special experience – We are not to have
darkness all the time –
We are not even to have the ability to gaze
at the sun –
We are to be in the right place at the
right time –
A person can look back and see their own
darkness – day after day after day –
That is what examination of conscience
is every day – during the day – am I
doing what God wants – take my
spiritual pulse, am I obedient to
authority – am I addicted to attention,
drama, starting something when I am
called to be in harmony, but instead
bringing chaos and division – wherever
I go to not go along and support prayer,
conversation God is calling me to.
Soon the curtain comes down and
the play is over.
We will NEVER live the moments
of this day again.
Why would a man play the old tapes
in his head – day long – of his perfectionists
father or mother, why wouldn't he
seek to do God's will in living in peace
now and quit acting-out the
unfinished business of his past.
What is the hole that keeps a man
from letting go of inordinate attachments
and living the life God called him
to and quit acting out drama,
need for attention, isolation, fear,
victimhood –
Jesus: All the energy a man employs to act
out his negative energy –
like putting on the same play – week –
after week – after week –
Your reality when living in darkness
is not what is reality –
The man in darkness can see
that way and try to force his
vision on others.
I am God, I am a God of miracles,
I am light, I am love, I am a
God of order and peace –
Because men came into your life
and lived in darkness, sinning –
why do you not see yourself
acting-out and when someone
says "STOP IT" you get
mad at them and act worse –
Wow, I cry blood for these stubborn
fools that go head first down
their crooked roads with
sacks on their heads.
I command you to love –
I give you the commandments to
follow –
The man of darkness can be steeped
in pride and he stays there
because he is a rival to My
way of love and life –
He makes his own bed, like the man
who makes his bed in the
morning – his blanket is
dark and he keeps it going like
a merry-go-round and nobody
will stop him – the man of pride –
he wants no correction –
he wants no direction –
and the darkness of this man
becomes darker and darker –
I am love –
I am light -
I am Divine –
I am All powerful –
You watch the convents dissolve –
Why would a man come to a place
where the darkness is crouching
in –
The man acting-out his past and
punishing others has no
attraction.
He can keep living out his
sordid past and doesn't
want anyone to stop his
play –
Nary will he have an issue –
he runs everybody off with
his pride and isolation
and darkness.
If a fire is raging do you stick
your finger in it?
Anger inside of a man is felt
by those who come around
him – Anger causes stiffness
and shut-down –
People will come when the climate
is genuine – heart-felt love –
where there is holiness –
where there is no baggage –
and baggage –
Every week the dumpster is
emptied –
When the snow comes – the
snow shovel makes a
path for traffic on the
closed road –
A snow came 2 feet high and
the man lived where it
would not melt –
He refused the snow plow
And he lived a frozen life
in his hut –
Soon he died because he
had no food –
I am the Bread of Life –
I give you a sharing in My life in baptism
You are dependent on Me –
I am God –
God created you with a purpose.

The Father's Will for Us - Our Source of Peace
Pope John Paul II instructs us: "The Church, as a reconciled and reconciling community, cannot forget that at the source of her gift and mission of reconciliation is the initiative, full of compassionate love and mercy, of that God who is love (see 1 John 4:8) and who out of love created human beings (see Wisdom 11:23-26; Genesis 1:27: Psalms 8:4-8)…He created them so that they might live in friendship with Him and in communion with one another.
"God is faithful to His eternal plan even when man, under the impulse of the evil one (see Wisdom 2:24) and carried away by his own pride, abuses the freedom given to him in order to love and generously seek what is good, and (instead) refuses to obey his Lord and Father. God is faithful even when man, instead of responding with love to God’s love, opposes Him and treats Him like a rival, deluding himself and relying on his own power, with the resulting break of relationship with the One who created him. In spite of this transgression on man’s part, God remains faithful in love.
"It is certainly true that the story of the Garden of Eden makes us think about the tragic consequences of rejecting the Father, which becomes evident in man’s inner disorder and in the breakdown of harmony between man and woman, brother and brother (see Genesis 3:12 ff; 4:1-16). Also significant is the Gospel parable of the two brothers (the parable of the ‘prodigal son’; see Luke 15:11-32) who, in different ways, distance themselves from their father and cause a rift between them. Refusal of God’s fatherly love and of His loving gifts is always at the root of humanity’s divisions.
"But we know that God…like the father in the parable (of the prodigal son), does not close His heart to any of His children. He waits for them, looks for them, goes to meet them at the place where the refusal of communion imprisons them in isolation and division. He calls them to gather about His table in the joy of the feast of forgiveness and reconciliation.
"This initiative on God’s part is made concrete and manifest in the redemptive act of Christ, which radiates through the world by means of the ministry of the Church." 13

Priestly Newsletter Book II - September/October 1997
In all this Mary offers an example. Selfishness was totally foreign to her. She did not belong to herself. She belonged to God. She was not closed in upon herself. She was completely open to God. When God spoke, she listened. When God pointed the way, she followed. She realized that life is not a process a person masters by carefully mapping out one's own self-conceived plans of conquest, but a mystery to be gradually experienced by being open to God's personal and loving guidance.
Selfishness, then, did not close Mary off from God's call. Neither did fear. God asked her to assume a tremendous responsibility. He asked her to be the Mother of Jesus. Mary did not engage in a process of false humility and say that such a great role was above her. She did not say that she did not have the proper qualifications for this awesome mission. Briefly, she did not waste time looking at herself, making pleas that she was not worthy, telling the angel he had better go look for someone else. No, Mary did not look at herself. Her gaze was absorbed in God. She fully realized that whatever God asked of her, His grace would accomplish. She fully realized that although she herself had to cooperate, this work was much more God's than hers.
Mary's words, then, truly sum up what is the authentic Christian response at any point of life, in any kind of situation: "I am the handmaid of the Lord," said Mary, "let what you have said be done to me".
Jesus: You are a work in progress
Genesis 1: 26-27
God said, ‘Let us make man in our own image, in the likeness of ourselves, and let them be masters of the fish of the sea, the birds of heaven, the cattle, all the wild animals and all the creatures that creep along the ground.’
God created man in the image of himself,
in the image of God he created him,
male and female he created them.
Jesus: So shall you sow
So shall you reap
Remember Pharaoh
God sent 10 Plagues
But he was obstinate
The king had a hard heart
The Egyptian army rushed into
the Red Sea –
They were enveloped by the waters –
I give to you the 10 Commandments –
centered in love –
The Ten Commandments
1. I, the Lord, am your God. You shall not have other gods besides me.
2. You shall not take the name of the Lord, your God, in vain.
3. Remember to keep holy the Sabbath day.
4. Honor your father and your mother.
5. You shall not kill.
6. You shall not commit adultery.
7. You shall not steal.
8. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
9. You shall not covet your neighbor's wife.
10. You shall not covet anything that belongs to your neighbor.
Jesus: I give you rules to live by –
They were worshipping the golden calf.
I have called you to love God –
I have called you to not have false gods
before you –
Isaiah 41: 10
do not be afraid, for I am with you;
do not be alarmed, for I am your God.
I give you strength, truly I help you,
truly I hold you firm
with my saving right hand.
Deuteronomy 7: 9
From this you can see that Yahweh your God is the true God, the faithful God who, though he is true to his covenant and his faithful love for a thousand generations as regards those who love him and keep his commandments,
Jesus: I hear your prayers and
I help you to be holy –
You must come to Me with a
docile heart –
not hard and cut off
1 John 2: 4
Whoever says, ‘I know him’
without keeping his commandments,
is a liar,
and truth has no place in him.
Luke 1: 46-55
And Mary said:
My soul proclaims
the greatness of the Lord
and my spirit rejoices
in God my Saviour;
because he has looked upon
the humiliation of his servant.
Yes, from now onwards
all generations will call me blessed,
for the Almighty
has done great things for me.
Holy is his name,
and his faithful love extends age after age
to those who fear him.
He has used the power of his arm,
he has routed the arrogant of heart.
He has pulled down princes
from their thrones
and raised high the lowly.
He has filled the starving with good things,
sent the rich away empty.
He has come to the help
of Israel his servant,
mindful of his faithful love
—according to the promise
he made to our ancestors—
of his mercy to Abraham
and to his descendants for ever.
John 3: 16
For this is how God loved the world:
he gave his only Son,
so that everyone who believes in him
may not perish
but may have eternal life.
Jesus: What is the motive behind your actions?
Are you really living in love, as I
commanded you to do?
Are you true to your word?
You need to recognize your dependence
on God –
Pray to be holy, to live according
to God's will –
To fill your heart with the Holy Spirit –
Don't give into satan in pride
and let him dwell in
you and block your
life with darkness –
Be a child of the light – ask the
Holy Spirit to fill you.
Given February 5, 2016
R. God has given us our speech and commanded us
to love Him with all our heart, all our soul and
all our being. God has given us a life time to love.
We his ave a free will to use our speech to love, to
be affirming, to be kind, to let others know what
God wants us to tell them to have harmony,
to have unity, to help one another.
The devil is hatred, he is bitterness,
contrariness, angriness. The gift of one's tongue
is a gift - to proclaim the glory of God, to be
more and more in the image of God. In hell
there is isolation and there is no love. It is
so wrong for a person to hold out the tongue God
has given them, the gift of speech and communication,
the gift of a tongue and use it to do evil. It is
offensive to God to use such a gift as the tongue
or the gift of communication for the purpose
of bitterness, anger, envy, jealousies of
the heart.
We are here to prepare ourselves for heaven,
to use our gifts to promote the Kingdom of God and
we will be judged on how we loved.
God gave us a free will because He wants us to
freely choose love. No one man can make another
man act lovingly. A person can love another,
encourage another, but no person can make
a person love. God gives man a free will to
choose to love and He commands us to do
so.
In heaven there is love. There is perfect love.
There is the embrace of the beatific vision
for all eternity. We are to prepare for the vision
of God by living a virtuous life. We pray
to the Holy Spirit to help us to do whatever God wants
us to do today – to live a life of love and to be
His instrument of love. What a gift that
God loves me so much. I am lovable and
God wants to come and possess my soul.
My life is lived to be possessed by God.
I give Him my will – I want to selflessly
serve Him as He desires. I am His – as
it says in the Prayer for Union with
Jesus. "I am Yours Lord, I want to have
my life in You."
Surrender to the Divine, Almighty God who
created us and loves us and has a plan
for us. Surrender because we are under God,
we are dependent on God, we love God, we
follow His Plan of love. We love Him first,
we love Him above all else. We know this
is our life lived to prepare us for eternal
life - with God - in heaven. God wants us
with Him, eternally in heaven, where we
will live a life of love – possessed by God.
Wow, wow – that is what heaven is –
being possessed by God. Heaven is being
full of life. God is life. God created us
to have the fullness of life with Him
one day in heaven. We give ourselves
to God. The Holy Spirit guides us, counsels us,
gives us vision, helps us understand,
gives us wisdom – gives us the gift of
fear of God to not want to offend Him
with the slightest sin. We walk in
love – we live virtuously. We pray for
the increase of faith, hope and love
and we live in justice, prudence,
temperance and fortitude –
We are God's. We give ourselves to God.
Prayer for Union with Jesus
Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart.
I am Yours to possess. I am Yours to use. I want to be selfless and only exist in You. Help me to spoon out all that is me and be an empty vessel ready to be filled by You. Help me to die to myself and live only for You. Use me as You will. Let me never draw my attention back to myself. I only want to operate as You do, dwelling within me.
I am Yours, Lord. I want to have my life in You. I want to do the will of the Father. Give me the strength to put aside the world and let You operate my very being. Help me to act as You desire. Strengthen me against the distractions of the devil to take me from Your work.
When I worry, I have taken my focus off of You and placed it on myself. Help me not to give in to the promptings of others to change what in my heart You are making very clear to me. I worship You, I adore You and I love You. Come and dwell in me now.

A Prayer for Intimacy with the Lamb, the Bridegroom of the Soul
Oh Lamb of God, Who take away the sins of the world, come and act on my soul most intimately. I surrender myself, as I ask for the grace to let go, to just be as I exist in You and You act most intimately on my soul. You are the Initiator. I am the soul waiting Your favors as You act in me. I love You. I adore You. I worship You. Come and possess my soul with Your Divine Grace, as I experience You most intimately.
R. God has the Plan –
God created us for a certain vocation –
God calls us to this vocation –
Do you remember the Pharaoh at the time of
Moses – how obstinate he was – that
God sent him all those plagues – and
he wouldn't budge –
It is indeed a story to remember and
then his fate was because of his
obstinacy to go down in the
pit – the Red Sea was separated
and when he went in, the waters closed
him in.
It can tell us of a man who opposes God's
will his whole life –
what is his fate
R. Dear God: Thank You for the gift to
communicate in love, for the tongue
and throat that brings forth the
love of my heart for You and for others,
Thank You for the softness of the heart
to surrender my will to Your will –
to live as You desire among the people
You asked me to serve – to love –
to be as You want me to walk as
a witness, a leader before others.
Dear God thank You for my life, that I
can see how my life can help
contribute to salvation history by living
my life united to You as my Master
in love.
Dear God – Come to me now and possess
my soul –
Let me bend the stubborn heart and
will to let go to You.
Help me to let go of bitterness and
unforgiveness hidden in my
heart and be sorry for my
offenses against You and others –
Come to me Lord and possess my soul –
Come into my heart and permeate my soul –
Help me to give my life to You –
I want to serve You God – FIRST
I want to do Your will –
I am yours Lord –
I want to have my life in You –
I offer You my day –
I offer You everything I do Lord –
united to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass –
I am Yours Lord –
Help me to be in my heart as You
desire me to be –
Come Holy Spirit fill my soul with Your gifts –
Dear God increase in me the virtues
of faith, hope and love –
Come to me Lord and posses my soul –
I am Yours Lord
I give My Life to You –
I love You God –
Help me to be the witness You have
called me to be –
Let me say "yes" like Mary
who loved You as the
perfect disciple, perfect
handmaid of the Lord –
I love You God –
I adore You God –
Come and Possess My Soul –
I am Yours –
I give myself to You –
Happy Valentine's Day
I consecrate my heart to Jesus and Mary
in love –

Dear Friends,
I give my heart to Jesus and Mary with you in love.
If you read Fr. Joe's book like I did on the 13th you can see how awesome it is.
It helps me understand what is happening in the writings during the liturgical year.
It is so very good, it makes me so eager to live the liturgy in my life,
live in the liturgical year.Well we have sent over 13,000 of Fr. Joe's new cycle books since the beginning of November to priests and hierarchy
all over the world. It can enrich so many lives with the weekly sermon rooted in the Word, the Eucharist,
the liturgy,
the Mass,Baptism, love and unity.
When a priest uses the book weekly he focuses on the Bread of Life to feed the people.
Say a priest says 4 or 5 Masses weekly
Think of how many souls could be reached with the people attending Mass.Fr. Joe speaks of love and being a member of the body of Christ, living in relationships
all in the context of the scripture. We see salvation history and its ups and downs -
we see our calling from God
and we see our part in salvation history.God calls - we respond.
The body of Christ can help the world to raise up to greater perfection.
