Pray for special intentions.
Prayer for Grace for our Country
Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

Mysteries of Light in Thanksgiving
The Baptism of Jesus
1. Isaiah 42:1-4, 6-7
Here is my servant whom I uphold,
my chosen one
in whom my soul delights.
I have sent my spirit upon him,
he will bring fair judgement to the nations.
He does not cry out or raise his voice,
his voice is not heard in the street;
he does not break the crushed reed
or snuff the faltering wick.
Faithfully he presents fair judgement;
he will not grow faint,
he will not be crushed
until he has established
fair judgement on earth,
and the coasts and islands
are waiting for his instruction.I, Yahweh, have called you
in saving justice,
I have grasped you by the hand
and shaped you;
I have made you a covenant of the people
and light to the nations,
to open the eyes of the blind,
to free captives from prison,
and those who live in darkness
from the dungeon.2. Jesus is God's precious servant.
3. The baptism of Jesus is the beginning of Jesus' public life.
4. God the Father introduced Jesus to the world at the Baptism of Jesus.
5. The sky was thrown open and the voice of the Father was heard, "This is My beloved Son in whom I am well pleased."
6. This shows us that Jesus is truly God's Son.
7. Jesus is ever faithful to the will of the Father!!!
8. Jesus is one with the Holy Spirit, we see the dove over Jesus' head.
9. We receive baptism, our baptism is different than Jesus' baptism. Jesus is without sin.
10. We are given a sharing in God's life in baptism and are sons and daughters of God.
The Marriage at Cana
1. John 2: 1-10
On the third day there was a wedding at Cana in Galilee. The mother of Jesus was there, and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited. And they ran out of wine, since the wine provided for the feast had all been used, and the mother of Jesus said to him, ‘They have no wine.’ Jesus said, ‘Woman, what do you want from me? My hour has not come yet.’ His mother said to the servants, ‘Do whatever he tells you.’ There were six stone water jars standing there, meant for the ablutions that are customary among the Jews: each could hold twenty or thirty gallons. Jesus said to the servants, ‘Fill the jars with water,’ and they filled them to the brim. Then he said to them, ‘Draw some out now and take it to the president of the feast.’ They did this; the president tasted the water, and it had turned into wine. Having no idea where it came from—though the servants who had drawn the water knew—the president of the feast called the bridegroom and said, ‘Everyone serves good wine first and the worse wine when the guests are well wined; but you have kept the best wine till now.’
2. This miracle is considered the first miracle of Jesus' public life.
3. Jesus lived the quiet life from age 12 to 30 when John baptized Him in the Jordon.
4. We are to be so grateful for the gift of baptism that gives us this sharing in God's life and elevates our knowing and loving capacity. Life in the Spirit.
5. We see Mary by Jesus' side and her powerful intercession. We know Mary wants us to give her our heart.
6. When we give Mary our heart, Mary takes our heart to Jesus' Sacred Heart.
7. We see this miracle of Jesus at Cana is followed by many miracles of Jesus in His public life after this miracle.
8. Jesus walked on water; Jesus healed the blind; Jesus healed the paralytic,
9. Jesus is here today to help us on our journey. We walk with Him.
10. "... All things are possible with God," God is a God of miracles!!!
The Kingdom of God
1. We are created by our heavenly Father in the image and likeness of Jesus.
Our lives are to be more purified and to live our vocation helping to build the Kingdom of God.
2. Jesus is King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
3. God gives us the Mass, the sacrifice of Calvary, sacramentally made present. There is so much grace when Mass is celebrated. We as members of the mystical body of Christ should unite in our Morning Offering, everyday, to help bring down great grace from the Mass for our world, our needs and the Church. It is our duty!!
4. We are called to do many things in our lives in the building of the Kingdom of God. When we unite our actions to the Mass in the Morning Offering we can help to bring down many graces as we live doing God's will, in our state in life and living in love!!!
5. We try to reach the nursing homes with this message.
6. Morning Offering
My dear Father, I offer you this day all my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings in union with Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, in the Holy Spirit.
I unite with our Mother, Mary, all the angels and saints, and all the souls in purgatory to pray to the Father for myself, for each member of my family, for my friends, for all people throughout the world, for all the souls in purgatory, and for all other intentions of the Sacred Heart.
I love You, Jesus, and I give You my heart. I love you, Mary, and I give you my heart. Amen.
7. Morning Offering
My dear Father, I offer You this day all my prayers, works, joys and sufferings, my every breath, my every heartbeat, my every thought, all my actions, in union with Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, in the Holy Spirit. I pray the Holy Spirit is with me every second today, enlightening me to do the Will of the Father and filling me with the fire of God's love.
I ask Jesus and Mary to be one in me in all that I do and I unite with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory to pray continually to the Father for these intercessions, in this prayer, for this day.
For myself, I pray for grace-abundant grace, to know and love God more and more and to follow the Will of the Father. I pray to the Holy Spirit to transform me in the heart of Mary to be more and more like Jesus. I pray that I can forever dwell in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary. I pray for conversion of all those I hold dear who need conversion. I pray for each member of my family that they will be filled with Your abundant grace to grow in their knowledge and love of God.
I pray for all my friends that they will receive abundant grace to carry out the great plan of the Father, that they will grow forever closer to Jesus' Heart through Mary's heart, that we will all be led by the Holy Spirit to do His work, that we will, together, carry out the plan of the Father as He intends us to, to spread the love of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Mary's heart to this world.
Jesus, I pray for myself so the Holy Spirit descends upon me and opens my heart to Your love so I will grow more and more deeply in union with You. I pray that I do not worry what other people think but try always to please the Father and do His Will. I pray that I may help lead many to Your burning love.
I pray for the following people in particular that they will be filled with the Spirit and grow deeply in their union with You, that they will receive abundant graces to know, love and serve You more. (Include special friends by name...)
I pray for priests the world over, for the success of the Priestly Newsletter, the Chapters and for the finances needed for the Newsletter. I pray for the circulation of the Blue Book messages, rosary meditations and tapes. I pray for all those involved in the publication of these messages.
I pray that You will shower Your abundant graces onto the priests reading the Newsletter the people reading and hearing the Blue Book messages and rosary meditations and all of Fr. Carter's publications.
We pray for the intentions we hold deep within our hearts, for our families and friends, for those requesting our prayers. We pray for children the world over and for the souls in purgatory. We ask God to shower His abundant grace on us and the members of our Shepherds of Christ Chapter so that we may grow more and more in our knowledge and love of God.
We consecrate ourselves to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary. We pray for Father Carter, for Father Smith, for Rita Ring, and for John Weickert, for all leaders and helpers in the Shepherds of Christ Movement, for Shepherds of Christ Ministries, and Our Lady of Light Ministry. We pray for all those who are working in these ministries.
We bind ourselves and our children and our friends to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. We place the precious blood of Jesus on ourselves, and all we touch, so that we will be protected from the evil one. We pray to St. Michael to cast the devil into hell.
We love You, God, we love You, we love You. We beg that we may receive the grace to love You more and more deeply. We adore You, we praise You, our beloved Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
8. Jesus suffered so much, they gave Jesus a crown of thorns. He is the King of Kings.
9. At the Epiphany, the heavenly Father showed His endorsement of Jesus through the star in the sky.

The Transfiguration
1. Letter of St. Peter 1:16-19
When we told you about the power and the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, we were not slavishly repeating cleverly invented myths; no, we had seen his majesty with our own eyes. He was honoured and glorified by God the Father, when a voice came to him from the transcendent Glory, This is my Son, the Beloved; he enjoys my favour. We ourselves heard this voice from heaven, when we were with him on the holy mountain.
So we have confirmation of the words of the prophets; and you will be right to pay attention to it as to a lamp for lighting a way through the dark, until the dawn comes and the morning star rises in your minds.
2. Jesus took Peter, James, and John up Mt. Tabor and He was transfigured before them.
3. Can you imagine when the Apostles saw this great vision.
4. And the voice of the Father was heard, "This is My beloved Son in whom I am well pleased, Listen to Him."
5. Like bookends, at the beginning of Jesus' public life when John baptized Jesus we know the sky opened up and the voice of the Father was heard, "This is My beloved Son in whom I am well pleased." And at the transfiguration, Jesus appeared in magnificent light and the voice of the Father was heard again: "This is My beloved Son in whom I am well pleased, Listen to Him."
6. In Jesus' public life He did many teachings and worked many miracles. The heavenly Father tells us listen to Him!!!!
7. Do we listen to the Word of God?
8. Do we obey Jesus' teachings, the commandments of God?
9. Jesus showed Himself to the Apostles in a way they never saw Him before.
10. Luke 9: 28-36
Now about eight days after this had been said, he took with him Peter, John and James and went up the mountain to pray. And it happened that, as he was praying, the aspect of his face was changed and his clothing became sparkling white. And suddenly there were two men talking to him; they were Moses and Elijah appearing in glory, and they were speaking of his passing which he was to accomplish in Jerusalem. Peter and his companions were heavy with sleep, but they woke up and saw his glory and the two men standing with him. As these were leaving him, Peter said to Jesus, ‘Master, it is wonderful for us to be here; so let us make three shelters, one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.’ He did not know what he was saying. As he was saying this, a cloud came and covered them with shadow; and when they went into the cloud the disciples were afraid. And a voice came from the cloud saying, ‘This is my Son, the Chosen One. Listen to him.’ And after the voice had spoken, Jesus was found alone. The disciples kept silence and, at that time, told no one what they had seen.
The Institution of the Eucharist
1. Jesus had the Last Supper with His 12 Apostles.
2. This was before the Passion.
3. Mark 14: 22-25
And as they were eating he took bread, and when he had said the blessing he broke it and gave it to them. ‘Take it,’ he said, ‘this is my body.’ Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he handed it to them, and all drank from it, and he said to them, ‘This is my blood, the blood of the covenant, poured out for many. In truth I tell you, I shall never drink wine any more until the day I drink the new wine in the kingdom of God.’
4. The Word and the Eucharist is the Bread of Life.
5. Jesus gives us a sharing in His life in Baptism.
6. Jesus feeds this life with Himself in the Eucharist.
7. The priest today bring us the Mass.
8. We pray for the priest, the Church, and the world in the Shepherds of Christ.
