March 12th Holy Spirit Novena |
The Novena Rosary
Mysteries |
Pray for special intentions.
Prayer for Grace for our Country
Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

Words of Jesus to Members of Shepherds of Christ Associates:
"My beloved priest-companion, I intend to use the priestly newsletter, Shepherds of Christ, and the movement, Shepherds of Christ Associates, in a powerful way for the renewal of My Church and the world.
"I will use the newsletter and the chapters of Shepherds of Christ Associates as a powerful instrument for spreading devotion to My Heart and My Mother's Heart.
"I am calling many to become members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. To all of them I will give great blessings. I will use them as instruments to help bring about the triumph of the Immaculate Heart and the reign of My Sacred Heart. I will give great graces to the members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. I will call them to be deeply united to My Heart and to Mary's Heart as I lead them ever closer to My Father in the Holy Spirit."
- Message from Jesus to Father Edward J. Carter, S.J., Founder, as given on July 31, 1994,
feast of Saint Ignatius Loyola, Founder of the Society of Jesus (The Jesuits)
Novena to the Infant of Prague
(to be prayed hourly if possible)O Jesus, who said, "Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened to you," through the intercession of Mary, Your most holy Mother, I knock, I seek, I ask that my prayer be granted.
O Jesus, who said, "All that you ask of the Father in My Name He will grant you," through the intercession of Mary, Your most holy Mother, I humbly and urgently ask Your Father in Your Name that my prayer be granted.O Jesus, who said, "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My word shall not pass," through the intercession of Mary, Your most holy Mother, I feel confident that my prayer will be granted.
We pray Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus, with all the angels and saints and the souls in purgatory united to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.
We unite all our prayers, works, joys and sufferings to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and offer them up for the grace we need most and grace for all our needs, the priests, the Church and the world.
We spread the Blood of Jesus on us and all these people, we consecrate all our hearts to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary,
We cast the devil into the fires of hell
And ask for the Holy Spirit to come upon us in a powerful way.
We pray for the following intentions, our families,…
March 10, 2022
R. Sitting by a peaceful stream.
R. The water reflects the sun.
Man is to reflect the Son in his life.
God has all the power.
R. Mary came.
Mary appeared
And who is listening.
Jesus: To those who have
faith, no sign is needed, to
those who do not believe,
no sign is enough.I have given you more than
some of the greatest
saints! To those who have
faith, no sign is needed, to
those lacking faith, many
will never change the
hardness in their hearts,
despite all I have given.Mary: I stood beneath the cross
and I cried for those
because of their hard
hearts would lose their
souls, because they refuse
any help and refuse to
listen when they sin mortally
and refuse to repent.
And, as their mother, I cried
blood. 🩸

when they stripped Your

My sins.

hearts to the Hearts of
Jesus and Mary.

Glorious Mysteries in Thanksgiving
The Resurrection
1. Jesus gave Himself to us on the cross, He gives Himself to us in the Eucharist. How great was the act of love, God gave to this world when He gave Himself and died on the cross, He gives Himself to us this day in the Holy Eucharist.
2. Jesus died on the cross, Jesus rose on the third day. Jesus shows us there is life after death.
3. The greatest commandment is that we love God with our whole heart, our whole soul, and our whole being, and to love our neighbor as ourselves. This is a commandment. If we want to go to heaven we are to obey the Commandments of God, be obedient to the Father and live by His will.
4. God is all powerful. The devil tries to get souls for hell. He is a roaring lion looking for souls to devour, The devil tries to deceive them, tempts them, lies to them, tells them they can disobey God, and do what they want.
5. The greatest act we can do on this earth is loving God. The reason for our existence is to love God. In the sacrament of His greatest love, He gives us Himself in the Eucharist.
6. Oh God, I love You so much, Come to me now and possess my soul. Dear God, I want to make a spiritual communion, now, and receive You in my heart. I love You so much, fill me God, I adore You.
7. Response to God's love, God gives Himself to us and we give ourselves to Him. We are to grow more and more in this loving union with our God. He gives Himself to us in the Eucharist so we can be more and more in His image and likeness and be greater one in Him.
8. Our all-consuming Passion should be to love God ever more. God longs for our love. When we go to the Eucharist, or make a spiritual communion our desire should be to love God ever more deeply.
9. Jesus gives Himself to us: Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity in the Eucharist. Such an act of love that Jesus remains with us truly present in the Eucharist this day.
10. Mary is the singular vessel. We go to Mary and she takes us to Jesus' Sacred Heart. Mary is the daughter of the heavenly Father, Mary is the Spouse of the Holy Spirit. God wants our love. God gives us the seven sacraments and the priest and the Church. Thank You our beloved God!! Thank You, God.
Ask and you will receive, seek and you will find, knock and it will be open to you, through the powerful intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary we pray. Dear Father in the name of Jesus, in the Holy Spirit we pray to You.
The Ascension
1. Jesus took His Apostles out near Bethany, and He raised His arms and ascended into heaven and a cloud took Him out of sight.
2. Jesus is alive. Jesus dwells in our graced, baptized soul. How am I showing Jesus, who dwells in me, to others in the world today? Do people see the love of Jesus in our actions, do people see God's reflection in my ways? Do I treat others as God would want them to be treated, in love and respect, and kindness?
3. From Pope John Paul II
"O, Immaculate Heart! Help us to overcome the threat of evil, which so easily takes root in the hearts of men today and, with the incommensurable effects, already weighs upon our contemporary existence and seems to close the way toward the future."
. Pope John-Paul II, Prayers and Devotions, edited by Bishop Peter Canisuis Johannes van Lierde, O.S.A., Viking, pp. 357-358.
4. "Free us from hunger and war! From nuclear war, from incalculable self-destruction, from every kind of war, free us! From the sin against the life of man at its dawning, free us! From the hatred and debasement of the children of God, free us! From every kind of injustice, national and international, free us! From the ease treading down God's commandments, free us! From sins against the Holy Spirit, free us! Free us."
Pope John-Paul II, Prayers and Devotions, edited by Bishop Peter Canisuis Johannes van Lierde, O.S.A., Viking, pp. 357-358.
5. "Receive, O Mother of Christ, this cry charged with the sufferings of all mankind! Charged with the suffering of entire societies. Reveal yourself once again, in the story of the world, to be merciful! May this cry halt evil! May it transform consciences!"
Pope John-Paul II, Prayers and Devotions, edited by Bishop Peter Canisuis Johannes van Lierde, O.S.A., Viking, pp. 357-358.
6. "May the light of hope, reveal itself to all in your Immaculate Heart! Amen".
Pope John-Paul II, Prayers and Devotions, edited by Bishop Peter Canisuis Johannes van Lierde, O.S.A., Viking, pp. 357-358.7. Jesus: May 18, 1997 "I love you, I love you, I love you.My dear special soldiers: I am giving you a great grace at this moment. You must get rid of any feelings of division in your heart and put your burdens at the foot of My cross. It is through My might that so much will be accomplished in the Shepherds of Christ Movement. I am teaching you to surrender, to let go and to be great lovers. I am asking you to strive to be saints. You are My chosen ones. It is from your face filled with light that many will know Me alive in your heart."
8. God calls us to go out and to spread the Good News to do His work as He calls us.We are to respond and be what God wants us to be.
9. Dear God the Holy Spirit help us to be a light in everything we do.
Dear God increase in us the virtues of faith, hope and love, so we can be reflections of all You want us to be and instruments before others in the world.
10. Come to me Lord and possess my soul, Come into my heart and permeate my soul.
The Descent of the Holy Spirit on the Apostles and the Virgin Mary
1. Acts 2:1-4
When Pentecost day came round, they had all met together, when suddenly there came from heaven a sound as of a violent wind which filled the entire house in which they were sitting; and there appeared to them tongues as of fire; these separated and came to rest on the head of each of them. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak different languages as the Spirit gave them power to express themselves.
2. Come, Holy Spirit, almighty Sanctifier, God of love, who filled the Virgin Mary with grace, who wonderfully changed the hearts of the apostles, who endowed all Your martyrs with miraculous courage, come and sanctify us. Enlighten our minds, strengthen our wills, purify our consciences, rectify our judgment, set our hearts on fire, and preserve us from the misfortunes of resisting Your inspirations. Amen.
3. Jesus: My beloved ones, I fill you with the love of My Sacred Heart. Do not be afraid, come to My Heart and be strengthened. I love you.
4. Sing: Be Not Afraid
5. Sing: Come Holy Ghost
6. Sing: Glory, Glory, Glory Lord
7. Act:1:5 "John baptised with water but, not many days from now, you are going to be baptised with the Holy Spirit."
8. The apostles were so filled with fear after the Ascension that they locked themselves in the Upper Room, when the Holy Spirit came a gigantic wind came upon them, there appeared over their heads, parted tongues of fire. And they began to speak in foreign tongues, as the Spirit prompted them to speak. They were transformed from fear to fearlessness and they went out to preach the gospel and people understood.
9. Holy Spirit, descend upon us, transform our hearts so that we are more and more transformed into the image and likeness of Jesus. Help us to be transformed from fear to fearlessness to spread the Good News. Jesus died, and Jesus rose from the dead. Jesus is with us this day. Let our hearts be filled with the fire of God's Love.
10. Come, Holy Spirit, come and descend upon us. Let the Spirit move within us to lead us more and more to be the children the Father created us to be.
Sing: The Rosary Song
The Assumption of Mary Into Heaven
1. Mary was taken body and soul into Heaven.
2. Think of her joy. Mary is our Mother that walks by our side, this very day,
and guards us.3. Mary is the Spiritual Mother.
4. Mary is the Singular Vessel of Devotion.
5. It is through Mary's most pure heart that we will be led to such intimacy with Jesus. The more we unite with Mary and her heart, the more the Holy Spirit can transform us into the image and likeness of Jesus. Jesus leads us to the Father.
6. The Trinity loves us abundantly. There are Three Persons in one God: the Spirit loves us so much; the Father loves us so much. God the Father gave His only begotten Son, so that we may be saved; Jesus gave His life for us.
7. Mary press us so tenderly to your Heart. Help us to grow more and more in our union with you, so that we can be forever closer and closer to the Heart of Jesus. Holy Spirit descend upon us and transform us more and more into the image of Jesus.
8. Jesus, lead us ever closer to the Father.
9. Song. See the Eyes that Look at Mary
10. Song. Immaculate Mary
The Coronation of Mary as Queen of Heaven and Earth
1. See the big picture: this is God's world; our every breath and every heartbeat depend upon Him.
2. Make God Number One in your life, so you can be ever joined closer and closer to the Trinity and Mary.
3. There appeared in the sky, a woman clothed as the sun; the moon was under her feet, and there were twelve stars about her head.
4. Mary reigns in the courts of Heaven, with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
5. Song: Hail Holy Queen
6. God, how immense is Your Power and Your Might! You care about the greatest details in our life, the very hairs of our head are numbered. Jesus knows the ways of our heart and knows how we feel, far better than we know about ourselves. If we realize the immenseness of God and His Power, we realize how fortunate we are that God loves us, as He loves us.
7. God wants intimate union with us. God wants us in Heaven, someday, with Him. In heaven we will be united with God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. And our union in Heaven depends upon, the union, we have with God on earth. Please draw us ever closer to your Heart, Jesus, through your Mother's most loving heart. Holy Spirit descend on us abundantly and fill us with the fire of Your love.
8. Envision the greatness of Heaven. As I gaze at the lights that I see here, there are no words to express thinking about the light of heaven. And there are no words that we can use that can sufficiently express how Heaven is. It is only in drawing closer and closer to Jesus, that we realize more and more, a little bit of how wonderful heaven is. The Eucharist is such a gift. Jesus wants to be so close to each one of us.
9. We thirst after His grace, the more we are drawn closer to Him. It is a gift of His grace to deeply love Him. It is this life that our souls crave and long for. Nothing on this earth compares to this life. Jesus loved us so much that He was born a man; that He suffered and died and gave His very flesh and His very blood. Think of giving your own flesh and your own blood for someone. He gave Himself for each one of us, and would do that this very day, so that we may have life eternal someday. God gave us a sharing in His life through baptism. Jesus remains with us in the Eucharist and longs and waits and thirsts for us to come.

|
Guiding Light homily series — Reflect on the Word — Cycle B The Word leaves an impression on our souls. In my thoughts and reflections are born a more tangible understanding of these eternal concepts presented in the Gospels and the readings. Anyone can read a sentence, but not anyone can absorb it's true meaning. Truth, in this day and age, is almost a matter of opinion or individual entitlement. We believe that Christ's truth is our Roman Catholic Church. We, as priests, champion it's teachings; we are ambassadors for the Pope and Christ to those faces looking at us. We are the light by which our congregation reads to reflect upon real truth and we do it hand in hand. $10 |
Guiding Light homily series — Steadfast to the Son — Cycle A The sunflower is a great example of how we should be steadfastly guided by light. What a powerful thought that this exceptional plant is not stuck in one pose day in and day out, yet adaptable and magnetized to the sun. We feel the same about our Son. Our heads turns to face Christ as each day presents its challenges to find light. We join together like plants in a field and soak up the Son through the pulpit. We are a warm circle of strength using the wind of our breath to carry our priests' words, Christ's words, to new rich soil. $10 |
Guiding Light — Focusing on the Word — Cycle B At times we may feel that our path to Christ is a bit "out of focus". Like the disciples in the Book of Mark, this ordinary life clouds our vision of Christ's Divinity. We may doubt the practicality or possibility of applying His teachings and example to our modern life. Cycle B's homilies are a "guiding light" to help us realize Jesus' Messianic greatness and His promise of better things to come. $10 |
Guiding Light — Feed My Soul — Cycle C In a world rapidly advancing and encouraging personal gain, we are faced with modern problems. There is a challenge to find time in our busy schedules for Sunday Mass or a family meal. We are able to research, shop, bank and even work without hearing one human voice. It is no wonder that we may often feel disconnected and famished at our week's end. In Fr. Joe's third book of homilies from Cycle C, we are reminded of the charity that Christ intended us to show each other. We have a calling to turn the other cheek and be the Good Samaritan to others. We are rewarded with the Father's kingdom and love when we are not worthy. We are not left alone or hungry. $10 |
