Prayer for Grace for our Country

Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

Words of Jesus to Members of Shepherds of Christ Associates:

"My beloved priest-companion, I intend to use the priestly newsletter, Shepherds of Christ, and the movement, Shepherds of Christ Associates, in a powerful way for the renewal of My Church and the world.

"I will use the newsletter and the chapters of Shepherds of Christ Associates as a powerful instrument for spreading devotion to My Heart and My Mother's Heart.

"I am calling many to become members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. To all of them I will give great blessings. I will use them as instruments to help bring about the triumph of the Immaculate Heart and the reign of My Sacred Heart. I will give great graces to the members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. I will call them to be deeply united to My Heart and to Mary's Heart as I lead them ever closer to My Father in the Holy Spirit."

Sacrifice

R. When I go to Mass I offer a sacrifice. God wants our all. He wants to be first in our life. He asked Abraham to sacrifice his son.

Gen. 22:1-2, 9-13, 15-18:

It happened some time later that God put Abraham to the test. "Abraham, Abraham!" he called. "Here I am," he replied. God said, "Take your son, your only son, your beloved Isaac, and go to the land of Moriah, where you are to offer him as a burnt offering on one of the mountains which I shall point out to you.

When they arrived at the place which God had indicated to him, Abraham built an altar there, and arranged the wood. Then he bound his son and put him on the altar on top of the wood. Abraham stretched out his hand and took the knife to kill his son.

But the angel of Yahweh called to him from heaven. "Abraham, Abraham!" he said. "Here I am," he replied. Do not raise your hand against the boy," the angel said. "Do not harm him, for now I know you fear God. You have not refused me your own beloved son." Then looking up, Abraham saw a ram caught by its horns in a bush. Abraham took the ram and offered it as a burnt offering in place of his son.

The angel of Yahweh called Abraham a second time from heaven. "I swear by my own self, Yahweh declares, that because you have done this, because you have not refused me your own beloved son, I will shower blessings on you and make your descendants as numerous as the stars of heaven and the grains of sand on the seashore. Your descendants will gain possession of the gates of their enemies. All nations on earth will bless themselves by your descendants, because you have obeyed my command.

R. The Father gave His Son for us. This is how great the Father's love is for us.

When we go to the altar many times we are suffering. We want something really bad, but we know we love God the most. What the Father asks for us is to offer that which we are so attached to as a sacrifice, united to the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus. If we offer this sacrifice to Him, the Father will pour out blessings that will be divine blessings, greater than anything we could have here on earth.

The Mass is the perfect sacrifice we offer to the Father, in which God pours out His blessings and we are one with Him and with all others in a profound expression of love. God shares His divine love with us and we partake in an intense way in His divine loving capacity. In order to become one in Him and to feel His love like this, we must surrender ourselves and be open.

He told Abraham to offer his son. God gave him his son back. He wanted Abraham to love God above all things and people.

Jesus offered Himself as a sacrifice to the Father. This is the most pleasing sacrifice to the Father. If He gave His Son Who died for love of us, will He deny us when we unite our petitions with Jesus and offer these at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass?

He took them to the highest mountain and He was transfigured before them in the greatest light.

Mark 9:2-10

Six days later, Jesus took with him Peter and James and John and led them up a high mountain on their own by themselves. There in their presence he was transfigured: his clothes became brilliantly white, whiter than any earthly bleacher could make them. Elijah appeared to them with Moses; and they were talking to Jesus. Then Peter spoke to Jesus, "Rabbi," he said, "it is wonderful for us to be here; so let us make three shelters, one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah." He did not know what to say; they were so frightened. And a cloud came, covering them in shadow; and from the cloud there came a voice, "This is my Son, the Beloved. Listen to him." Then suddenly, when they looked round, they saw no one with them any more but only Jesus.

As they were coming down from the mountain he warned them to tell no one what they had seen, until after the Son of man had risen from the dead. They observed the warning faithfully, though among themselves they discussed what 'rising from the dead' could mean.

R. We go to the altar of sacrifice. The mountain to come, in which so many graces will flow, is the altar of sacrifice where the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is offered through the hands of consecrated priests.

We hear the Father say, "This is My beloved Son in whom I am well pleased, listen to Him." He is speaking to us. He is the Word. He is speaking in these messages. He is unveiling the Scriptures and speaking to us in plain talk. This is a great gift He is giving to us.

We are transformed in the Mass. We unite with the greatest sacrifice offered in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. We have the most perfect sacrifice to offer to the Father when we offer this sacrifice. He gives us great blessings. We die to ourselves, we become white.

We must unite all of our sacrifices to this Holy Sacrifice of the Mass being said all over the world. This is the greatest way to magnify all of our offerings - by uniting everything we do as an offering, a sacrifice to the Father in union with His Son.

Note: About Violence and Violent Video Games

R. A child that is neglected can cause big trouble and is awarded for bad behavior by getting attention,
Getting adults to have problems, getting drama,
makes their Adrenalin rush!!!
Manipulation of innocent adults!
Power over.

Where being good they may not get attention.
No Adrenalin rush.
No drama.
No power.

No living on the edge.

Games with violent behavior gives bigger rewards to some.

Playing games of manipulation with something needed to operate
Gets big results!!

Children that play violent video games,
v
iolent movies,
can effect the brain.

It can teach them that there are bad people out there that might want to hurt them.

After playing violent games they can become insensitive
where they just don’t care.

Reasoning can be distorted from this and very dark.

You can’t do what is opposed to God without consequences.

We are here to grow spiritually in the Holy Spirit.

God always knows the truth.

In court it says
"Tell the whole truth, nothing but the truth so help me God."

God sees everything and He still loves us.

God the Father loves us.

When you lie, you can make it right, there is consequences, but we’re not alone, God will help us through if we ask Him.

Acting out anger on innocent others, doesn’t make us ever better, it's evil.

Others are persons too with dignity, created by God, you have no right to abuse others created by God.

Children want all sorts of things.

Your soul's future depends on obedience to God.

Mysteries of Light in Thanksgiving

The Baptism of Jesus

1. Mark 1: 9-11

It was at this time that Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptised in the Jordan by John. And at once, as he was coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens torn apart and the Spirit, like a dove, descending on him. And a voice came from heaven, ‘You are my Son, the Beloved; my favour rests on you.’

2. God has showed us throughout salvation history that He is God, and we are under Him. God gives us a promise when we live to serve Him, we can have this promise.

3. God inspires us to do what He wants when we work His Plan and let Him lead us. We have a free will.

4. God gives us our life to follow His plan and He leads us to greater life in Him. The Christ-Life.

5. See the beauty of the waters at the Jordon. See this special moment that God gives us. Jesus is Baptized by John at the Jordon. This is the beginning of Jesus' public life.

6. The heavenly Father shows His endorsement - the sky is thrown open; the voice of the Father is heard - "This is My beloved Son in whom I am well pleased". Above the head of Jesus is the dove to show us the presence of the Holy Spirit.

7. The Trinity at the beginning of Jesus' public life. Jesus is called by His heavenly Father. Jesus, the Son, pleased His Father, in all He did. We are the sons and daughters of God through baptism. We are to live to be pleasing to God, as sons and daughters of God.

8. In Jesus' public life He taught us how to be more and more in the image of God. Jesus performed many miracles in His public life.

9. It was a beautiful day for this, God called us to meditate on this today in these Mysteries of Light in the Rosary. It is a mystery. God is a mystery.

The Trinity is a mystery. God's love for us is a mystery. We need to pray to the Holy Spirit to enlighten our intellects, so we understand greater insight into this mystery.

10. We can only do the will of God in this moment.

We pray to do whatever a faithful son of the Father would do in this moment.

Song: Live This Day

The Wedding at Cana

1. Jesus and Mary went to a wedding at Cana. Mary told Jesus they have no wine. Jesus performed His first miracle of His public life at the wedding of Cana, through the intercession of Mary His Mother.

2. They brought to Jesus jars filled with water and Jesus turned water into wine.

3. In baptism we receive a sharing in Divine life. We receive the supernatural virtues of faith, hope and charity in baptism. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit come to the graced baptized soul and dwell there.

We pray to the Holy Spirit to be sanctified more and more.

4. In the spiritual life we need to grow in the image and likeness of Jesus.
We pray to the Holy Spirit to sanctify us more and more. God gives us the 7 sacraments in the Church.
We pray to the Holy Spirit to be sanctified more and more.

5. The Holy Spirit is the Spouse of Mary. The Holy Spirit and Mary work together in bringing that image of Jesus more and more in us. Oh, we see how the child Jesus was formed in the womb of Mary through the power of the Holy Spirit, we pray to the Holy Spirit and Mary to work in us, today, so we grow more and more in the image of Jesus.

6. Mary tells us to come to her Immaculate Heart, this is our spiritual womb. Mary takes us to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

7. Mary is the singular vessel. Mary is united to the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We go to Mary, our spiritual Mother and ask her to take us to our beloved God.

8. Mary is our spiritual Mother. Mary wants to help us to be holy. Pray through Mary's powerful intercession.

9. Jesus worked many miracles in His public life. Dear Jesus, thank You we love You so much.

10. Matthew 5:48

...You must therefore be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect.’

From the Prayer Manual

Holy Spirit Prayer

Come, Holy Spirit, almighty Sanctifier, God of love, who filled the Virgin Mary with grace, who wonderfully changed the hearts of the apostles, who endowed all Your martyrs with miraculous courage, come and sanctify us. Enlighten our minds, strengthen our wills, purify our consciences, rectify our judgment, set our hearts on fire, and preserve us from the misfortunes of resisting Your inspirations. Amen.

The Kingdom of God

1. Jesus is the King over all.

2. The devil wants to rule.

3. Jesus is God, God is all powerful. God is Supreme. God is the Divine Almighty God.

4. The devil is darkness, a fallen Angel. The devil tempts people so he can operate through them and cause confusion, chaos, division, and destruction.

5. A person that is humble is sorry if they do something wrong and they want what is right, if the truth is in them.

6. The person of righteousness wants the truth, the person of pride puts himself first. They want to justify when they do something wrong, why they are not wrong, they never want to be wrong.

7. First commandment

  1. I, the Lord, am your God. You shall not have other gods besides me.

8. God is love, God is absolute truth. God is over all.
God is to be obeyed, loved, respected, adored and honored.

9. Sing: The King of Glory

10. The devil is operating in lies and deception, the devil works undercover in darkness. Jesus is the Light of the world.

The Transfiguration

1. Jesus took Peter, James and John up Mt. Tabor and Jesus appeared transfigured before them.

2. Sing: Your Presence Pervades my Soul

3. Moses and Elijah appeared talking to Jesus.
Moses gave us the 10 commandments from God. These commandments were given on Mt. Sinai.
Elijah was a prophet.

4. St. Augustine says ”Our hearts will not rest until they rest in God."

5. The Apostles would soon see Jesus in His glorified body after the Resurrection.

6. Song: Come to My Heart

7. From Tell My People

Reflection: The Holy Spirit is given to us to fashion us ever more according to the likeness of Jesus. And the more we are like Jesus, the more Jesus leads us to the Father. Do we, each day, pray to the Holy Spirit to be more open to His  union with Mary? The greater our union with our Mother, the spouse of the Holy Spirit, the greater is the transforming action of the Holy Spirit within us. end of excerpt

8. R. Jesus is the Light of the World. We are like people that are walking this earth with a shade down, a veil. We do not comprehend and we do not understand. We do not see Him in His magnificence and His light. We do not know many things. If we did we would all be on our faces right now, flat on the ground giving praise and worship to the Almighty God. Jesus is truly present and in this room in the Eucharist. But there is a shade down; it is as in a room. If the shade is down, there is darkness and the sunlight does not come through from the outside. But if the shade is lifted, the sunlight comes into the room. Jesus is the Light of the world. What we know is veiled. God can lift the veil. We can see more and more if God lets us. We do not need to be focused on so many foolish things. He is risen, the Light of the World, and He gives to us a sharing in His life.

9. R. It is all there. The Mass is there. The Sacraments are there. God wants to fill us more and more with His life. This grace is outpoured on this earth. But we do not comprehend. Spread the consecration to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart to priests. We need grace to be outpoured more and more on the world. Pray the prayers Jesus gave Fr. Carter. This is what the Shepherds of Christ Movement is all about. It is the Father’s plan from all eternity that the Shepherds of Christ Movement would be major in helping to spread the consecration to the priests, that priest’s hearts would be consecrated to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary, that a nation, that a Church, that a people that are walking in darkness will see the light and that grace would be outpoured. Spreading the Consecration will help us to have holy priests. It is now as if the shade is down and the sun is on the other side of the shade but I do not see it. Jesus is giving us immense light, the more we consecrate our hearts to Jesus and Mary. God wants our intimate love. We must reach the priests with the Priestly Newsletter that they will consecrate their hearts to Jesus and Mary, that their hearts will be turned to hearts of love, that they will know God with the greatest intimacy, for the Holy Spirit works within the heart of the Virgin Mary and gives great lights.

10. R. Jesus is alive. We are His faithful witnesses. Jesus is in this room, the Almighty God, the same Jesus that came forth from the tomb, truly present in the Eucharist. He will give to us this understanding into Him in this new era, the Reign of the Two Hearts, for we will be the children of light that will know God with such intensity.

The Institution of the Eucharist

1. 2. R. Did you see Him come forth from the tomb adorned in the brightest light and splendor? Did you see Him? I saw Him. I saw Him before my eyes transfigured in the brightest light and I cried. He is alive. He is risen. He is alive and He is treated like a dead object in many cases. But He cries out. From this tabernacle, He cried out and He said, “I long for the soul that comes to Me and gives Me their love.”

2. Sing: A Song from Jesus

3. Luke 22:19-20

Then he took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying, ‘This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.’ He did the same with the cup after supper, and said, ‘This cup is the new covenant in my blood poured out for you.

4. Fr. Carter's Priestly Newsletter - Thoughts on the Eucharist

• The Eucharist is not only a very special contact with God in Christ. In Christ we also relate to the other members of the Church. In receiving the Eucharist we pledge ourselves to deepen our love-union with all members of the Body which is the Church. We pledge to use these means which foster union. We determine to avoid that which causes selfish divisiveness.

5. The Eucharist also reminds us of our relationship with the entire human family. Jesus died and rose for all. The Eucharistic making-present of this paschal mystery nourishes our determination to assist in the work of ongoing redemption. The light of the Eucharist points to what we should be doing. The strength of the Eucharist assists us to so act in behalf of all.

6. The Eucharist, then, possesses the richest capacity to help us maintain and develop our personal relationship with God, the members of the Church, and all other members of the human family. And it will do just this if we surrender to its love, its power, its beauty.

7. • Henri Nouwen observes: “Jesus is God-for-us. Jesus is God giving himself completely, pouring himself out for us without reserve. Jesus doesn’t hold back or cling to his own possessions…He gives all this to us…‘Eat, drink, this is My body, this is My blood…this is Me for you!’”5

5. Henri Nouwen, With Burning Hearts, Orbis Books, p. 67.

8. Fr. Carter's Priestly Newsletter - Thoughts on the Eucharist

The Eucharist is our chief source for growth in the Christlife. There follow some thoughts on this magnificent Gift of Jesus to us.

9. • When Jesus speaks of His Blood as the “Blood of the Covenant” (Mt 26:28), we are reminded that blood sealed or ratified the Mosaic covenant at Mount Sinai. Moses sprinkled sacrificial blood upon the altar, which represented God, and upon the Jewish people. Because blood was a distinctive symbol of life for the Jewish people, such an action had a deep significance for them. This action of Moses symbolized the sealing or ratification of the covenant— a new life relationship between Yahweh and the Jewish people.

10
The sacrificial Blood of Jesus has also formed a covenant — the New Covenant. In the shedding of His Blood, Jesus has established a new life relationship between His Father and the human race. Forming a core, focal point of the redeemed human race are the members of the Christian community, the Church. The Eucharist, in recalling and making sacramentally present the shedding of Jesus’ covenant Blood, is the Church’s great covenant act. The Eucharist sustains the life of the covenant, nourishes it, causes it to grow. Through participation in the Eucharistic liturgy we should be growing in our covenant life. We should be developing a greater love-union with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We should be growing in a sense of community, in a deep love for the Church, in a desire to contribute our share to the building up of the body of Christ. We should be learning to curb our selfishness, this selfishness which deadens a dynamic concern for the Christian community and the entire human race. Participation in the Eucharist should also be curbing divisive jealousy, forming us more and more as persons who want deeply to love all so that it can be more often said of us, “See those Christians, how they love one another.” The Eucharist can more radically shape us according to these covenant attitudes if we allow it to do so. We repent over the times we have resisted. We rejoice regarding the times we have opened ourselves to the Eucharist’s transformative power.

              March 13, 2015

R. We should pray with all of our hearts united as one – as never before –

We pray to the Father – united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, (the Sacrifice of Calvary, sacramentally made present)

We pray in the Holy Spirit with all the angels and saints and the souls in purgatory – through the powerful intercession of Mary, Our Lady of Clearwater –

Pray with me, now, with all of your heart –

We pray for the pope, for all cardinals, for all bishops, all priests –

We pray for all of us, all members and donors and all their families, all our families.

We pray for anyone who touches all these people –

We spread the Blood of Jesus on all mentioned – on China and the Florida site and on the whole Church – the whole world –

We cast the devil far, far from this place, from all mentioned – the whole Church and the whole world –

We want to Consecrate to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary in as far as we are able

1) all mentioned people

2) the priests, the Church and the world.

We beg for a special outpouring of the Holy Spirit – on all mentioned – the Church and the world –

We love You God, we love You so much.

We worship You God.
We adore You God.
We give You Our Hearts.

Amen.

In uniting ourselves as one this way – we pray deeply for the Church and for the world. We pray for all who are receiving the Easter mailing –

Dear God – hear our prayer – We love You – We love You – We love You –

Say the Morning Offering every day at the end –

Say the Holy Spirit Novena at the end.

Pray the Shepherds of Christ Prayers at the end.

Listen to every word deeply in the Mass.

Block out distractions.

Stay focused on the Mass –

Pray for the Church and the world and your intentions.

Beg for grace to be outpoured.

See Jesus before You on the Cross.

Hear Jesus say –

“I love you, I love you, I love you”

Jesus: I am the Sacred Heart – the Heart of pure and tender love – I love You so much –

R. The incarnation goes on in us. We are witnesses in the world.

Every action – Every prayer in our lives is united to the Mass – It is a Font of God’s Grace.

The Divine Bridegroom gave His Life on the cross and He rose from the dead victorious on the third day. The sacrifice of Calvary is sacramentally made present in the Mass today. We unite to it pleading as a body for ourselves, the Church and the world. We beg for grace from our Divine Bridegroom. As members of the Church we live as His spouse our bridal union all day.

Christ is Chief Priest and Mediator. We are His flock, the ones He came to save.

Yes, the Good Shepherd laid down His life for us. And it is in this that we must lay down our lives daily in the Morning Offering, offering all we do as a sacrifice united to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and great grace will be released for souls. We can identify with Him in this that we offer everything we do in trying to please Him and serve Him as a sacrifice united to the Mass. The more we tell others to pray the Morning Offering, the more people will lay down their lives for souls and the more grace will be released for the troubled hearts.   end of Introduction

Excerpt from Response in Christ - Chapter 4 by Fr. Edward J. Carter, S.J.

In schematic outline we have discussed the manner in which the baptized Christian extends his Mass to his daily existence. As he so lives out his Mass, he is becoming more Christ-like. He becomes a more perfect priest and victim for his next participation in the eucharistic sacrifice.42 The beautiful cycle which the Mass contains lies exposed before us. As part of this cycle the Christian is intimately involved in the process of continued redemption. The Mass is the center of the Christian life: “. . . the liturgy is the summit toward which the activity of the Church is directed; at the same time it is the fount from which all her power flows.” 43

Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle B of the Litugical Year (2011/2012)
$ 10.00

Guiding Light homily series — Reflect on the Word — Cycle B     The Word leaves an impression on our souls. In my thoughts and reflections are born a more tangible understanding of these eternal concepts presented in the Gospels and the readings. Anyone can read a sentence, but not anyone can absorb it's true meaning. Truth, in this day and age, is almost a matter of opinion or individual entitlement. We believe that Christ's truth is our Roman Catholic Church. We, as priests, champion it's teachings; we are ambassadors for the Pope and Christ to those faces looking at us. We are the light by which our congregation reads to reflect upon real truth and we do it hand in hand. $10

Guiding Light - Steadfast to the Son
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle A of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light homily series — Steadfast to the Son — Cycle A    The sunflower is a great example of how we should be steadfastly guided by light. What a powerful thought that this exceptional plant is not stuck in one pose day in and day out, yet adaptable and magnetized to the sun. We feel the same about our Son. Our heads turns to face Christ as each day presents its challenges to find light. We join together like plants in a field and soak up the Son through the pulpit. We are a warm circle of strength using the wind of our breath to carry our priests' words, Christ's words, to new rich soil. $10

Guiding Light - Focusing on the Word
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle B of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light — Focusing on the Word — Cycle B    At times we may feel that our path to Christ is a bit "out of focus". Like the disciples in the Book of Mark, this ordinary life clouds our vision of Christ's Divinity. We may doubt the practicality or possibility of applying His teachings and example to our modern life. Cycle B's homilies are a "guiding light" to help us realize Jesus' Messianic greatness and His promise of better things to come. $10

Guiding Light - Feed My Soul
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle C of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light — Feed My Soul — Cycle C    In a world rapidly advancing and encouraging personal gain, we are faced with modern problems. There is a challenge to find time in our busy schedules for Sunday Mass or a family meal. We are able to research, shop, bank and even work without hearing one human voice. It is no wonder that we may often feel disconnected and famished at our week's end. In Fr. Joe's third book of homilies from Cycle C, we are reminded of the charity that Christ intended us to show each other. We have a calling to turn the other cheek and be the Good Samaritan to others. We are rewarded with the Father's kingdom and love when we are not worthy. We are not left alone or hungry. $10
