Prayer for Grace for our Country
Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our new president as he takes office. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

R. God has a plan. We are so
blessed being given what God
has given us in our lives.
But we can be like the
talent scripture and decide
when God wants something it's
okay to make God wait and run
after us while we play a game
with God.
God wants us to live virtuously.
Putting God first in our lives
means that we put God first –
We do not give into bad habits of
the past – like the man in the
talent scripture who was given
one talent and buried it and
the Master was not pleased.
Reading the message of 20
years ago – Seedless, Barren,
No Fruit on the Vine – I look
at the Movement 20 years
later and say – how have we
put aside selfishness which
is above God's plan to spread
this message to the world.
I remember long ago when
Mary appeared daily 1994-1995
telling me to spread the rosary
and rosary aves in the schools –
I shed a lot of tears and was
then 24 years younger as I did
all I could Mary asked of us.
Finally others came and helped
and they were translated in
4 languages with the Imprimatur.
Mary and Jesus have given us
these messages, but I call you
to answer the call here to
spread the message.
Please help us. Never before in
these troubled times do we see
that conversion of our hearts
is the message. Conversion
begins with our own hearts,
not giving into anger, pride,
pity-pots, slothfulness (sitting
back and waiting to do what God
is telling us), envy and the other
deadly sins.
God does not want disorder
in our lives. God is the
authority. God does have a
plan. God has called us to
love, to serve and know Him
with all our hearts. Knowing
and loving and serving God
is an action. It doesn't mean
we settle in and tell ourselves
God is pleased with in-activity
like the man given one talent
when God is calling us to much
more –
I think of one of the scriptures
during the Saturday Night Vigil
service. God calls the stars
and they respond "Here we
are shining brightly."
God is calling us to shine
brightly before the heavenly
Father by saying "yes" –
To be His instruments as
God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit dwell
in us. Being a servant of God –
putting God first means we must
change bad habits to good ones.
We can read St. Ignatius - Spiritual
Exercises – The exercise is letting
go of inordinate attachments
that keep us from doing what
God wants –
Holding back on God is
not serving God – waiting
is very hard for us when we
know we are called by God
to go out and do something –
Procrastination to God,
life-long is not serving God
today.
Please help me do as God has
called us in the Shepherds of Christ.
We see how much God
loves us in Lent. We are
called to sacrifice.
We can train ourselves to
be victims. There is a
'victim complex' in the world.
Victims can be actors –
thinking of themselves as
victims and projecting their
victimhood on innocent
others. These are the inordinate
attachments we need to get
rid of and be actors for
God's plan – not reactors –
God is calling all of us
in Lent to put aside these
stalling, pity-pot, victim
roles and let God operate
in us to help bear fruit
for the Kingdom with our
lives.
Living virtuously –
Praying earnestly for the
increase of faith, hope and
love given in baptism –
Actors – putting God first –
Knowing Jesus the Bridegroom
of the soul –
Loving and serving Him –
Walking in faith –
Being positive – not holding
back and being negative –
Being filled with gratitude
for God's gifts to
us –
Going out and spreading the Good News
like the man getting 10 talents,
5 talents –
We will stand before God and
have to have an accounting
how we lived by the
commandments of God –
Using the Blue Books puts
God first –
How many years can we
say we used the talents
for God and made more?
Did we bear the fruit
God wanted for the Kingdom.
We cannot live independently
doing our own thing –
God intends us to work
under authority, as a
community to do what He
wants.
If we hate the life God
wants for us – we are
opposing Him – even though
we may blame it on
an innocent person trying
to do their part in doing
God's will while we act like
a stubborn mule going
up a hill.
Do you wonder why
Christ shows us a
donkey, called an ass,
on Palm Sunday –
He humbled Himself
taking the nature of a slave
to do the will of His Father –
Would we be seen with the
wounds of Christ before men,
crucified on a cross?
Would we give and act
and love like Jesus did?
He asks for little things of
us – many times – and
we play the victim role
and put our energy into
being victims – taking
away the energy of those
trying to do God's will,
while we hold our breathe
and act like an adult -
child.
God loves us so much
He shows us His battered
body given for us –
He loves us. He is the vine –
We are the branches –
He gave His all –
A withered vine only
dies and does not bear fruit –
Life is in him.
I remember years ago
one of my grandchildren
age 4 just held out and held
out when I had to pick up
her sister at school. She
sat on the floor and played,
would not be moved, put on
her shoes and made me
force her to get in the car –
it was like a stubborn
mule –
I had to go to get her
sister, I had no choice –
She pouted and ran off
and wanted me to beg
her, run after her –
a lot of wasted energy –
making me do her game,
but she was a little child.
We can play the victim
role life long before Jesus –
If we are part of a net-work
that is to get work done
for Jesus – who can work
with these games –
As opposed to the man who
puts God first
and lives to know, love and
serve God
and gives themselves completely
to God to use and be used
by Him for His work –
giving themselves so God
operates and dwells in them –
Prayer for Union with Jesus
Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart.
I am Yours to possess. I am Yours to use. I want to be selfless and only exist in You. Help me to spoon out all that is me and be an empty vessel ready to be filled by You. Help me to die to myself and live only for You. Use me as You will. Let me never draw my attention back to myself. I only want to operate as You do, dwelling within me.
I am Yours, Lord. I want to have my life in You. I want to do the will of the Father. Give me the strength to put aside the world and let You operate my very being. Help me to act as You desire. Strengthen me against the distractions of the devil to take me from Your work.
When I worry, I have taken my focus off of You and placed it on myself. Help me not to give in to the promptings of others to change what in my heart You are making very clear to me. I worship You, I adore You and I love You. Come and dwell in me now.

A Prayer for Intimacy with the Lamb, the Bridegroom of the Soul
Oh Lamb of God, Who take away the sins of the world, come and act on my soul most intimately. I surrender myself, as I ask for the grace to let go, to just be as I exist in You and You act most intimately on my soul. You are the Initiator. I am the soul waiting Your favors as You act in me. I love You. I adore You. I worship You. Come and possess my soul with Your Divine Grace, as I experience You most intimately.

Parable of the talents
‘It is like a man about to go abroad who summoned his servants and entrusted his property to them. To one he gave five talents, to another two, to a third one, each in proportion to his ability. Then he set out on his journey. The man who had received the five talents promptly went and traded with them and made five more. The man who had received two made two more in the same way. But the man who had received one went off and dug a hole in the ground and hid his master’s money. Now a long time afterwards, the master of those servants came back and went through his accounts with them. The man who had received the five talents came forward bringing five more. “Sir,” he said, “you entrusted me with five talents; here are five more that I have made.” His master said to him, “Well done, good and trustworthy servant; you have shown you are trustworthy in small things; I will trust you with greater; come and join in your master’s happiness.” Next the man with the two talents came forward. “Sir,” he said, “you entrusted me with two talents; here are two more that I have made.” His master said to him, “Well done, good and trustworthy servant; you have shown you are trustworthy in small things; I will trust you with greater; come and join in your master’s happiness.” Last came forward the man who had the single talent. “Sir,” said he, “I had heard you were a hard man, reaping where you had not sown and gathering where you had not scattered; so I was afraid, and I went off and hid your talent in the ground. Here it is; it was yours, you have it back.” But his master answered him, “You wicked and lazy servant! So you knew that I reap where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered? Well then, you should have deposited my money with the bankers, and on my return I would have got my money back with interest. So now, take the talent from him and give it to the man who has the ten talents. For to everyone who has will be given more, and he will have more than enough; but anyone who has not, will be deprived even of what he has. As for this good–for–nothing servant, throw him into the darkness outside, where there will be weeping and grinding of teeth.”

While the people were listening to this he went on to tell a parable, because he was near Jerusalem and they thought that the kingdom of God was going to show itself then and there. Accordingly he said, ‘A man of noble birth went to a distant country to be appointed king and then return. He summoned ten of his servants and gave them ten pounds, telling them, "Trade with these, until I get back." But his compatriots detested him and sent a delegation to follow him with this message, "We do not want this man to be our king."
‘Now it happened that on his return, having received his appointment as king, he sent for those servants to whom he had given the money, to find out what profit each had made by trading. The first came in, "Sir," he said, "your one pound has brought in ten." He replied, "Well done, my good servant! Since you have proved yourself trustworthy in a very small thing, you shall have the government of ten cities." Then came the second, "Sir," he said, "your one pound has made five." To this one also he said, "And you shall be in charge of five cities." Next came the other, "Sir," he said, "here is your pound. I put it away safely wrapped up in a cloth because I was afraid of you; for you are an exacting man: you gather in what you have not laid out and reap what you have not sown." He said to him, "You wicked servant! Out of your own mouth I condemn you. So you knew that I was an exacting man, gathering in what I have not laid out and reaping what I have not sown? Then why did you not put my money in the bank? On my return I could have drawn it out with interest." And he said to those standing by, "Take the pound from him and give it to the man who has ten pounds." And they said to him, "But, sir, he has ten pounds . . ." "I tell you, to everyone who has will be given more; but anyone who has not will be deprived even of what he has.
"As for my enemies who did not want me for their king, bring them here and execute them in my presence." ’
When he had said this he went on ahead, going up to Jerusalem.
