                Given March 16, 2014

                Mary: I stood beneath the cross of my Son, Jesus.
                Today there is so much confusion in the world. Families
                that pray the Shepherds of Christ Prayers as a family and
                pray the rosary can receive very special blessings and
                healing graces, Jesus promised.

                R. God is calling us to give ourselves to His will. There are
                ways in which we obey God's will and ways in which
                we rationalize our own will. In the world today
                authority is overlooked, many times. Men and women doing
                their own things and the balance God has given goes out the
                window to unity and commitment as people go in
                and out – doing other things to keep themselves from
                the very commitment God has called them to.

                    It's called obedience to God's will. We many be told
                over and over again how our independence hurts the
                very tissue of unity needed to build a lasting
                structure, but we can rationalize how we must
                do what we do to keep us in and out and not
                committed.

                    When my son was older he came back to live and go
                to graduate school. I got into the old ways of thinking
                I should stay home and be available to him, He had
                been away at college for four years
                and came home to study and to also go out with
                his friends. He had a very busy social life and
                many friends and still does. He had some ministry
                work, some work, a social life, and time spent
                getting his masters. He was a man of 22 years
                and he was living his life as he should, but came
                home and was with us some time.

                    My old way was to be available, but after
                7 days, I knew my job was being a wife, being
                the head of the Movement, getting the messages,
                doing retreats, 5ths and 13ths and doing Mass
                every day and by hour.

                    I asked myself "What is God's will for me?"
                I was there when it was God's will, but I didn't
                skip what was God's will to be available for
                no reason.

                    In the 23 years I have received messages, God
                always provided for what I needed to do this
                and further He provided reliable people I loved to
                transcribe all the rosaries in the Blue Books and
                type messages from my notebook I received every day.
                Fr. Carter spent almost part of every day with me
                until his death.

                    He taught me about God's will – not too much,
                not too little he would say. I remember every year
                making an 8 day Spiritual Exercise Retreat with
                him as my guide. At the end of the retreat he
                shared with me how important this mission, Shepherds
                of Christ, was to him and what God told him about it
                in the renewal of the Church and the world.

                    He was such an example! He was like Jesus,
                never on a pity-pot – always building the Kingdom of God
                by doing God's will – He was always loving
                like Jesus. He believed, and he listened and read the
                messages. From 1994 in August I went to Mass
                that he celebrated every day, except a short period
                December 12, 1996 when we went to Mass 5 days a week
                and he celebrated it two days a week under
                obedience at the Faber house.

                    He was like Jesus in so many ways. My brother
                is like Jesus, he prays two hours a day, but
                he is so very kind and loving and I see Jesus
                as he speaks to every one and unites and builds
                up his parish with the right direction,
                spiritual guidance and love. Like Fr. Carter what
                underlies both men is giving of themselves in
                God's will in love.

                    "He must increase, I must decrease."

                    The devil wants confusion and confrontation
                to discredit the messages. Despite all of this
                when Jesus delivers a rosary one can see what
                is said is solid no matter how satan worked
                in division in those around me.

                    Fr. Mike has helped me since before Fr. Carter
                died and he is very self-less. He is available
                when I call him and he always has the right
                direction from God to help me.

                    We have been very blessed with Masses. Of the 9
                days we prayed this month – 4 in Florida and
                5 in China – we had 7 Masses celebrated
                7 days and then we prayed for the priests, the
                Church and the world, our ministries, our families,
                donors and members and their families, healing
                of the family tree, individual healing needs
                and donations, spreading prayer chapters,
                spreading Blue Books, consecrations, the
                rosary etc.

                    God has blessed us each month with
                9 day retreats! ending with the 5th and
                during the 13th of each month retreat!

                I can say this as Jesus tells me to speak  –
                A person can tap dance - in and out to keep
                control, when God is telling them to trust
                and let go.

                How can God direct our life when we control
                it.
                Being committed to lots of things we tell ourselves
                is God's will.

                In Blue Book 13 there was a very good rosary on this
                    October 15, 1996 – 2 days after the first 13th.
                    Who is controlling our life when we give
                    our power to people who have no right
                    to do so and when God calls we put
                    Him in a vice-grip, backing up right, left,
                    bottom, top –

Excerpt from June 5, 2011 Rosary

Jesus: Settle down, for I want to take you into a place of peace, where I can touch your heart, and you will know Me more deeply than ever before in your life. But you must let go and surrender and let Me fill your heart now. Now. Now. Now. But you are busy child, even in silence, as I want to touch you and move in your heart, you are busy in your minds, and thinking so many things. Have you not learned after all these years, how to surrender? How to let go? How to come to that place, that special place, dwelling deeply in My Heart? Knowing the presence of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit within your graced, baptized soul. Oh sweet one, you are so busy about so many things, when indeed you miss some of the finest treasures.

Jesus: And now let Me speak to you of fear. For the Apostles knew fear in the upper room. It can grip you like a cold hand, and you give into it. When I am guarding and watching you and I am with you now. So many things you allow to parade in your mind, when you can only live and do one thing at a time. Busy, busy, busy, busy, ah child. Why so busy?

    Come now away with Me into My Heart. Think of nothing but the love of God, that God dwells within you child. What keeps you from Me is your busy, busy mind. After the reception of the Eucharist, I want to touch you in a deep way, at the Mass, at the consecration - I am giving to you a grace — busy, busy, busy. Oh child, you will all go out of this life in the same way, when the time comes, when the Father is ready for you to leave. Surrender now. Let Me control your life. Know that the Father has a plan for you, that the Father has given to you all the talents to accomplish great things in the building of My Kingdom. But your busy-ness gets in My way.

    Why so busy child, busy planning, and planning what the Father has planned, and your planning is of your own making. Busy, busy - bzzzz like the bees. Come to Me at Mass. Busy, busy, busy. Will you let go now? Are you planning the next thing? Have you planned tomorrow? How about tomorrow night? How is your schedule? Pull out your calendar or your cell phone or wherever it is that you keep your busy things. Busy, busy, busy. Can you write Me into that calendar? Can I have that little space there? Oh no that's when you wash the dog! — ah-ah — I should have known much better. . . .

    But it takes faith. It takes love. It takes wanting the purity of the hearts, so that your heart is more and more like the heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It takes listening to the Holy Spirit, that is not telling you, like the devil does, you did everything wrong — you either did everything wrong or you did everything right. That's not truth. You did this right and this right and this right and this right, but you need to fix that one there. What you do affects others. If you look at Eve you see that what she did affected everybody after that.

    This is a wake up call. It was a wake up call in these days before the feast of Pentecost to give your heart and your life to God, to quit the controlling, the plans, the prodding, all of the things that you tell yourselves, when you are busy, busy, busy, and not even leaving a little space to be alone, and to let the Holy Spirit move in your heart. To not do the examination of conscience daily, that you will know that you are praising your God, thanking your God, loving your God, checking your spiritual pulse, to see that if you are in desolation, that you are not acting in that desolation, in anger, in provoking people, in jealousies and then telling yourself when you know that the jealousy came over you, the boredom, that you went out and started a little fire. It's called letting go and wanting only God's will in your life.

                R. Satan works day and night

                What matters to Satan
                    is power and control

                We are at constant warfare —

                People so smart —
                    with degrees and they
                    give into the devil over
                    and over again —

                Satan works to try to alter a person's
                    reality and they give into him —
                    satan deceives them and the more they
                    give in to jealousy,
                    power, envy —
                    Seeking power for power sake —
                    the more their reality becomes altered

                Satan distracts us spiritually —
                    He keeps us busy —
                    Satan wants you to be
                        so busy that you
                        are allured by power —

                But God created you —
                    Busy, busy, busy — 

                R. Satan wants us to sin so
                    we are tied up because
                    of the sin —
                    justify why we are right
                    when we sin and

                then after this he turns
                    around and tells you
                    you are a sinner —

                He wants to stop the work
                    God wants done —

                So you can focus on yourself —
                    tell yourself you are right
                    when you are wrong —

                The devil is a prowling
                    lion —

                The devil wants to attack us —

                Attack authority —

                You give in by trying to be
                    over authority —

                You justify 'I am right —
                    authority is wrong' —

                Arm-wrestling just authority —

                Altered reality —
                    Satan comes as an angel of light,
                        and the person thinks, they are
                        doing good — and continue disobeying
                        just authority
                        They think the just authority over them is wrong —
                        So the serpent deceives and
                        the person gives in —

                Ever since Eve  —
                The devil lies to us —
                The devil deceives us —
                The devil allures us —

                The devil wants to distract
                    us — doing it our way —
                    disobeying just authority —

                People, so intelligent turning
                    their lives over to the
                    devil for power and
                    confusion

                Jesus: Addicted to excitement —
                The devil wants to start confusion,
                    combat — argumentation —
                    discrediting authority —

                The devil wants you to think you
                    should be equal to God —

                Intelligent men, letting satan lure them
                    with the shiny apple of
                    power, control, affections —

                The man rooted in God's will is the
                    man who is connected to God
                    deep inside —

                Satan says rise up for power over
                    authority —   

Matthew 4: 1-11

Then Jesus was led by the Spirit out into the desert to be put to the test by the devil. He fasted for forty days and forty nights, after which he was hungry, and the tester came and said to him, ‘If you are Son of God, tell these stones to turn into loaves.’ But he replied, ‘Scripture says: 

    Human beings live not on bread alone 
    but on every word 
        that comes from the mouth of God.’ 

The devil then took him to the holy city and set him on the parapet of the Temple. ‘If you are Son of God,’ he said, ‘throw yourself down; for scripture says: 

    He has given his angels orders about you, 
    and they will carry you in their arms 
    in case you trip over a stone.’ 

Jesus said to him, ‘Scripture also says: 

    Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’ 

Next, taking him to a very high mountain, the devil showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendour. And he said to him, ‘I will give you all these, if you fall at my feet and do me homage.’ Then Jesus replied, ‘Away with you, Satan! For scripture says: 

    The Lord your God is the one 
        to whom you must do homage, 
    him alone you must serve.’ 

Then the devil left him, and suddenly angels appeared and looked after him.

      

                Jesus: The devil is a fallen angel —

                When a person does not do what they
                    are supposed to do they commit
                    sins of omission —

                R. We are united to each other —
                    What I do and don't do affects others —

                When I disobey just authority I
                    am wrong —

                The devil tempts people to
                    not be accountable to just
                    authority so the devil
                    can operate the show
                    in disobedience, seeking
                    power - over just authority —
                    sneaky — the devil is
                    full of deception —
                    trying to get people to give in,
                    distracted spiritually because
                    they are busy —   

                R. We see Saul who disobeyed the Lord —
                    He hurt the Jewish people —
                    We see Esther dealing with the situation
                    because of Saul's disobedience —

                Jesus: A man in a fox hole, at war, is not arguing
                    with pride — he is not worried about being right over
                    his commanding officer —
                    He is fearing for his life
                    in trying not to get killed.

                    R. We are at war with satan and
                    he wants to use the guy disobeying
                    just authority to go against
                    God's will —

                Orders in the Church are under a
                    superior — even when a religious
                    under a superior thinks he has
                    a better idea than his superior
                    he is under obedience to just
                    authority —

                A person challenging just authority
                    in a religious order is
                    disobeying the vow of
                    obedience he took —

                The devil showed Eve a shiny
                    apple and told her if she
                    ate she would be equal to
                    God —
                    the devil talks in the head of
                    the man raising above just
                    authority —
                    the devil tries to lures him with fear
                        and power and control —

                    the devil tempts men with degrees
                        and all kinds of schooling
                        to give in and disobey those
                        over him —
                        The devil lures him with the
                            apple of power and control
                            and being right -

                Jesus: I am God
                    I run the universe —

                    People are born, people die — 

 

The Our Father

    Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

     

                Jesus: You are at war —

                The devil wants us to give into the
                    negative thinking —

                    After we give in enough we
                have a distorted reality —

                    God created us —

                    Jesus is the way, the truth and
                the life —

                    We want to have right reasoning.
                    The Word is the truth —
                    We are not to just know the
                        Word, but live the Word.

                We are to guard our hearts —
                We are to have the right attitude —
                    to know the truth —
                    that our habits are good habits —

                Not seeking power and control for our
                    own vain glory —

                We are at war with the devil —

                We can have bad mental habits —
                    We are to seek the truth —
                    Living the word —
                    Working on ourselves and what
                        is in our minds and
                        having love and purity in
                        our hearts —

                Guard our minds and our hearts —

                Live the life of resurrection
                    rooted in God —

                Guard that interior life inside us —

                Live to serve the Lord —
                Open our hearts to God —

                Keep our hearts closed to the devil.

                The devil tempts us to think
                    negatively —

                God wants me to do what he
                    wants me to do because
                    it is God's will — not giving
                    in like the lure of the shiny
                    red apple because I don't
                    want anyone telling me
                    what to do.

                Giving our minds and hearts to God —
                Serving God —
                Living in His truth —

                Knowing that He has all the Power.

                How long do we want to stay in the
                    desert, in negative thinking —

                Doing God's will keeps us connected
                    to His power —

                Opposing God's will is asking for
                    problems, a mud-pie in
                    the face —

                God calls us to be actors —
                    to fill our lives with service —

                The devil works in boredom —

                Work for the Lord —
                Fight for the Lord —

                Guard that interior life, that it
                    is pure and rooted in Him —

                We need to be rooted in God,
                    filled with His grace to
                    fight the devil —

                God gives us the Word, the
                    Church and the Commandments —

                We have to take time to be with
                    Jesus, time to know the
                    Word, sit in front of
                    the tabernacle —

                    Know how God loves us —

                    Change our thoughts so we
                say — "God loves me, Jesus loves me,
                the Holy Spirit counsels me."

                    We must pray to know God —
                to follow Christ — to live like
                Christ in the world — to love —

                    We can decide to not take
                satan's shiny red apple
                that says — we are equal
                to God.

                    We are to know God
                is our Creator —

                God is all powerful and we are to
                    obey and to live as God wants
                    us to —

                God has a purpose for me and I
                    am loved —
                    the devil is a liar — he
                    wants to drag us down
                    with negative, depressing
                    thoughts —

                God loves us so much —

                He gives us His letters of love
                    in the Blue Book —

                I must apply what God is
                    saying in my life —

                So I believe the truth —

                The Blue Books tell the truth —

                The RIGHT REALITY
                    the reality as it is, as
                    God is —

                If I keep thinking negative
                    thoughts then my reality
                    becomes what I have
                    told myself —
                    "altered reality"

                I live a negative reality

                We need to fight satan with spiritual
                    weapons —
                    Go to the tabernacle —
                    Go to Mass —

                Choose positive thoughts —
                Pray for grace —

                Empty our minds and hearts
                    of unforgiveness
                    and be honest about
                    our lives —

                The devil wants us to be negative,
                    to complain —
                God wants us to do His work —

                Jesus gave me this vision

 

                February 24, 2012

                R. The Heart of Christ beats in the
                hearts of men —

                    I had a vision of a beautiful
                beating heart — First I saw a map
                and it was of the world and I kept
                hearing the word — the pope — the pope —

                    Seeing the connection of the whole
                Catholic Church, I saw, like stations
                all over the world where the churches
                were united to the pope — It was vast —
                the map of the world,

                    But the unity was — unity one —
                the Church, one, united under the
                pope — The Church, the body of Christ —
                one, holy, Catholic and Apostolic —
                And I heard the word "pope"
                united with all the Churches on
                the map all over the world —
                "pope" —

                The map was blue and the Churches
                white — scattered on the map of
                the earth and there was a little
                red on the vision —

                The blue was the blue of my room
                at home and the white the Churches —
                Then a big red heart covered it all —
                movement as it beated —
                I can't even explain the heart —
                It covered the map —
                It was red and it sparkled with
                light as it beat — I can't even
                write about it, but I can see it
                now, I cannot explain it because
                It is beyond words — 

 

                R. The heart pretty much covered the map.
                It was so big —

                R. God wants us to have faith in Him —

                He allows sufferings in our lives —

 

                            Excerpt from April 16, 1992 - Holy Thursday
                            Jesus: Be of a clean heart and you will not
                            have to cover things up — love one another and
                            try honestly to give each their just due and there
                            will be nothing to hide. All evils shall be brought
                            to light and all goods shall be revealed
                            in the day of reckoning. Fight a good fight
                            live a good life, love, be kind and be ever
                            attentive to the needs of those around you
                            and you will be blessed with ever lasting happiness.

                                For I say unto you, many are called
                            but few are chosen, it is up to you to follow
                            the path of right. You can do My will or reject
                            My will. My will is the WAY, the TRUTH and the
                            life. The way to a long lived happy life and to
                            experience life is through the truth. The truth
                            in all things. Do unto others as you would want
                            them to do unto you. Love one another and cherish
                            your precious moments you have together...

                                Make each moment precious, by
                            loving one another. God is first always —
                            Before anything else — any other order is
                            OUT of ORDER and does not work —
                            any other ORDER is not God's order.
                            His life is simple — it is not confused,
                            it is simple LOVE AND TRUTH —
                            these are the jewels of each moment.
                            Do the will of God.

                                I am your God, you shall have
                            no other gods before me — not WEALTH,
                            FOOD, SEX, DRINK, I am your God
                            and I am first when I am first, I give you
                            everything necessary to live. You are working
                            for Me, I will work in you, I will make
                            your life work, you let go and know I
                            am your captain. I love you and I know
                            what you need to make you happy. I
                            have your best interest at heart. Trust
                            in Me and come to Me and make your
                            ways, My ways. I love you more than
                            any other human person could love you.
                            I love you with My Divine Love. I am your
                            God and you are My precious creation, I
                            made you to love Me and love My other
                            children, do this and I will bless you with
                            peace. I am your God and I love you, forever,
                            every moment in every trial and in every tear.
                            I cried, I cried when Lazarus died. I wept
                            bitterly, I cried when I carried My cross
                            and felt betrayed and hurt, I created your
                            tears as a cleanser for you. A way to release
                            that which builds up in you.

                                I am your God, I hold your hand, I want
                            you to put your head in My lap and weep
                            and come to Me and tell Me of your joy,
                            I want you to be you, created by God, I am
                            there to listen and support and love you.
                            I am your best friend, and I love you more
                            than you can love yourself — trust Me with
                            your will and your life and I will make it
                            beautiful for you. Be happy and spread
                            your love to each other — the devil comes
                            with his lies. The devil says "You are not enough, you didn't
                            do enough, you can't do it." — I am your God, listen to Me
                            not the devil.  Believe in your life living
                            according to your vocation for My honor
                            and glory. Don't be jealous, angry, envious, mean
                            seeking dominance for dominance sake —
                            Don't be willful. Do God's will with love.
                            You were created by Me, I LOVE you
                            My precious child.

                letting anger seep in us —
                We have to live by God's Word —

Excerpt from Cycle B Homily Book - Reflect on the Word

Fourth Sunday of Easter - May 3, 2009

When I think of shepherds, I always remember 20 years ago when I climbed Mt. Sinai (I’m glad I did it then, because I couldn’t do it any more – it’s very rugged and steep) and on the way down, I saw a shepherd and her sheep on a near-by hill. It was just getting dark. She started playing her flute and headed in a direction away from where we were; the sheep just fell in line following her. It was all the sheep trusted her knew how much they depended on her. It was a beautiful scene.

The metaphor is obvious. Christ is our shepherd. He wants us to trust him and follow him. Sometimes following him can get a little frightening; we don’t know where he’s taking us or what he might ask of us. Sometimes when he takes us through the desert, as shepherds need to do at times when they want to bring their sheep to better grazing ground, we ask why is he doing this to us? That’s why he is always telling us we need to have faith in him. That’s also why we need to pray - so we will have faith in him. Amen.

   

                R. What about laziness —

                    We can give into laziness  

Luke 4: 2

for forty days being put to the test by the devil. During that time he ate nothing and at the end he was hungry.

  

                R. The devil wants to attack us
                    when we are doing what is
                    right —

                The devil attacks the righteous —

                The devil tried to get to Jesus after
                    he was weak and tired in the desert.

                The devils wants to get to us —

                In baptism we receive a sharing in
                    God's life and the Father, Son and
                    Holy Spirit remain in the graced,
                    baptized soul —

                God wants us to have joy in our
                    witnessing to God —
                    Jesus wants us to have faith —
                    The devil tells us if we believe
                    in Jesus —
                    Why do we have problems —
                    Why do we not love others and
                        ourselves —

                The devil wants confusion —
                The devil wants us
                    not to have faith in God —
                    to doubt God and His undying
                    love for us —

                We have to have faith and
                    follow Christ — not try
                    to fix others when we
                    have a problem ourselves —

                To take an action and then pray
                    God will make it work
                    is doing it the wrong way —

                We are to do God's will —
                    to seek God's will —
                    to do God's will —
                    and then pray to God to
                        help it work, after we
                        did God's will —

                The devil wants us to disobey
                    God — and then do something
                    we think is good, but not
                    God's will — and then expect
                    it to work (A mud pie in the face!!)

                We can then say "look at how good
                    I am", but I am disobedient to
                    those over me, disobeying just authority
                    is wrong if I am under them —

                God works in structure —

                Jesus: A man did his own will and then
                    he told his superior
                    what he did —
                    then he did things harder and
                    more secretive — he did his
                    will opposed to God's will, without
                    direction and he wanted the superior to
                    run after him and correct him, then
                    fight with him to get it removed.

                This is like the abortion law —
                    put this against God's will out there
                    and then fight for it to be removed — killing babies!!
                    The devil works this way opposing
                    God's laws.

                The man giving into satan has altered reality
                    and the man has changed the rules —
                    then he makes confusion
                    with those under just authority —
                    to make confusion and discredit the
                    just authority.

                God is calling us to obey - just authority —
                Eve disobeyed God —
                    she was lured with power and control
                    after all she was given

                You can be addicted to misery
                You can be addicted to self-pity
                You can be addicted to negative thinking —
                You can be addicted to power
                You can be addicted to control —
 

                "Oh poor me", — attitude — pity pot — they can say
                "I did this", "I did that" —
                "I want you to come and fill me —
                    recognize me and
                    make me feel better" —

                Why do you act in anger and expect
                    anything, but a mud pie
                    in your face —

                God calls us to serve —
                God calls us to give —
                God calls us to use our talents —
                    God gave to us —

1. R. They pounded into His head a sharp crown of piercing thorns. The blood ran down the side of His face into His eyes and into His ears. Blood ran from His mouth from the blows they had given to His head. Look at Jesus' face streaming with blood! This is the blood that He shed for love of each one of us! He calls out to us today to come ever closer to Him. He is outpouring His grace to us so we may be filled more and more with His life in us. He outpours His love. The soul searches this barren desert for so many things to fill it when only the love of God will satisfy the soul.

                R. On February 17, 1994 Jesus called the first 17th meeting.
                    He wanted it on the 17th of every month.
                    People argued with me every month to
                    change the date – over foolish excuses
                    on December 17, 1996 Mary appeared in Clearwater
                    on the building after all these 17th meetings.

                They argued and argued –
                    every time I got a message –
                    Satan sent someone to oppose it!

                A man needs to be like the branches to the
                    vine –

John 15: 1-6

I am the true vine,
and my Father is the vinedresser.
Every branch in me that bears no fruit
he cuts away,
and every branch that does bear fruit
     he prunes
to make it bear even more.
You are clean already,
by means of the word
     that I have spoken to you.
Remain in me, as I in you.
As a branch cannot bear fruit all by itself,
unless it remains part of the vine,
neither can you unless you remain in me.
I am the vine,
you are the branches.

                R. A man must bridge head and heart –

                If a man uses business conversation
                    and ways at home, it doesn't
                    work, no matter how right he tells
                    himself he is.

                It has been reported that effective communication
                    can actually help a persons heart – health-wise.

                A man caught up in being controlling and rigid
                    to make things his way is opposing God's
                    desire for that man to let - go and surrender
                    to God's will.

                When I began getting messages, Jesus
                    took my voice away so I had to
                    quit teaching college, singing in a
                    professional choir and being available
                    to get the Blue Books and do this work.

                When God closes a window, He can open a
                    bigger window, more beautiful
                    and on His terms, unless we want
                    to control the window and never
                    let go of false power.

                What power anyway – we are all vulnerable
                    health-wise, we cannot control
                    the weather, hurricanes and tornadoes,
                    things happen – accidents etc.

                Did you ever try to fertilize a new plant
                    just transplanted from another
                    place and pour a bunch of fertilizer
                    on the newly moved roots, only to burn them
                    off and kill the plant –

                Doing God's will –
                    not too much of a good thing –
                    not too little
                    God's will is surrendering, not being
                        willful and controlling.

                Love strengthens relationships. Jesus really
                    wants our love – When we love others
                    we love Jesus –

                Jesus is God! God is love!!

                Celebrate the moments of your life!

                Find joy in the ordinary days and simplest things
                    God has put in our paths.

                Jesus: Don't be addicted to being busy – in and out
                    of commitments – nursing in fear
                    wounds needed to be let go of.
                    Holding onto wounds is like quick-sand
                        when a beautiful ocean is waiting
                        to refresh you.

                Re-open your angry heart – frozen heart –
                Pray to heal the family tree.

                When you may have grown up – you suffered
                    in a dysfunctional home –
                    let go of the dysfunction, don't try to
                        canonize it!

                A person has a tendency to seek the familiar,
                    if the familiar is so painful you
                    develop survival tactics, why
                    would you continue to
                    try to go down a road full of roadblocks!

                Taste freedom –

                    Let go of past hurts.
                    Let go.

R. I can never live the moments of this day again.
When I go to bed, today is gone forever.
I must choose to treasure each moment
because it is the only moment I have
and it only lasts one moment.

                R. When my mom died I was 5. Later a
                director told me I needed to heal from
                relationships – my mom dying,
                old boy friends, my parents etc. –

                Life is not perfect –

                If childhood was a loss of joy and
                    having our needs filled because
                    of fights etc. – we need to deal with
                    these losses, so we can trust and
                    open our hearts - to be spontaneous
                    and love –

                Some people are so caught up in the past –
                    they have turned off their hearts –
                    they don't feel, they don't trust,
                    they don't talk or tell themselves
                    the truth about their losses –
                    so they are closed up –
                    defending the myth their lives were
                    perfect –

                What a hard order to guard one's
                    past like the Beast in Beauty
                    and the Beast –
                    until he had someone who
                    really loved him and he changed
                    he was locked in a beast
                    body –
                    in the end –
                    he loved –
                    he was loved and
                    he turned into a gorgeous
                        prince and broke a spell
                        on him –

                When we lock ourselves away like
                    this we are not living –

                Stuff has happened to all of us –

                Nobody lives a perfect past –

                In alcoholic and dysfunctional
                    homes the person has to be
                    real, live in the truth and
                    get off the merry-go-round
                    called denial

                In dysfunctional homes, people
                    were raised, many of them,
                    to secrecy, wearing a mask
                    on the outside for others –
                    never sharing the truth –
                    because you were forced to
                    be a perfectionist in
                    the mask you wore before others.

                This kind of living tells a person –
                    if somebody knew who I
                    really was –
                    they wouldn't like me –
                    so hide the real me –
                    be a slave to the person in
                        the locked tower.
                    Put on a good picture
                    Look good –
                    Prove you're smart every
                        time you talk –

                What a tall order –

                Nobody can ever just get
                    work done – pray united,
                    be united –

                You can live your whole life
                    trying to prove you're perfect –

                This is enslavement –

                People in Al-Anon, support groups
                    share themselves and people
                    accept them and love them –
                    then people learn to accept
                    and love themselves –

                It's like a mock family that
                    supports and loves you 

 

                We love you – we understand –
                    we accept you

                R. People without recovery who need
                    it – keep blaming others
                    for their bad ways –

                People in Al-Anon look at
                    themselves and aren't afraid
                    to say
                    "I got mad and this is what I
                    said"

                People in houses where kids were
                    only allowed to be perfect and
                    stuff the real person –
                Are accepted for who they are
                    in a support group.

                They can recover the
                    painful past of not ever
                    being good enough!

                Many report suppressed anger and
                    depression from childhood
                    because of how they were
                    not accepted and loved as they
                    should have been at home –

                This is a prescription for failed
                    relationships after this
                    troubled childhood –

                The myth – "my life is perfect"
                What about being real, without
                    giving into self-pity –
                    just reality –

                People growing up in alcoholism
                    were affected spiritually, psychologically,
                    emotionally and physically.

                As adults these adult children
                    need to deal with the past –
                    they can be depressed, fearful,
                    anxious-running from
                    their pain and turning off their
                    heart –

                If they don't feel good they
                    blame someone in their
                    present life in a relationship
                    to act out the pain of
                    the past –
                    It keeps coming up as
                    unhealed pain!

                A person can speak of their losses in
                    a support group. They can learn to
                    love themselves and learn to
                    accept and love others because they
                    look inside and reveal the
                    hidden myths and secrets.

                Abuse in homes goes on well beyond
                    childhood and it can go on
                    for generations.

                People must recover from abuses
                    given in homes.

                God put us in a family – we can
                    learn to love and accept them
                    and letting go of old wounds –
                    This is recovery

                We may have to feel the pain and
                    work toward forgiveness and love

                God shows us the way.

                Jesus showed us how to love in
                    the bitter passion and death
                    of Jesus.

                Attitudes about family and relationships
                    from the past, discolor
                    us now in our present relationships
                    and family now –

                Some people won't look at pain –
                    they are afraid they will
                    lose control

                What is my concept of unity in
                    my family
