A Prayer for Intimacy with the Lamb, the Bridegroom of the Soul
Oh Lamb of God, Who take away the sins of the world, come and act on my soul most intimately. I surrender myself, as I ask for the grace to let go, to just be as I exist in You and You act most intimately on my soul. You are the Initiator. I am the soul waiting Your favors as You act in me. I love You. I adore You. I worship You. Come and possess my soul with Your Divine Grace, as I experience You most intimately.
Messenger: Mary is model.
No matter how far we have veered from the truth, from purity, Mary is untainted, without sin.
There are so many poisoned ways of acting, handed down from generations past because we are tainted and imperfect.
Mary is sinless. We need a perfect human person to look at as our model because all of our parents are tainted children of Adam and Eve.
Whom do we look at when our parents are sinners? They taught us their ways, but they were sinners.
Mary comes, Mary Immaculate. Her life is sinless, she is all pure. Because of the fall of Adam and Eve, many of our ways are corrupt. Our fathers taught us these ways.
I go back to the story of the lady who had a ham. She was cutting off both ends. When questioned why she did this, she found her mother or grandmother did it so it fit in the pan.
Jesus is the Son of God - He is the Way, the Truth and the Life.
Luke 2:48-49
They were overcome when they saw him, and his mother said to him, 'My child, why have you done this to us? See how worried your father and I have been, looking for you.' He replied, 'Why were you looking for me? Did you not know that I must be in my Father's house?'
Luke 2:51
He went down with them then and came to Nazareth and lived under their authority. His mother stored up all these things in her heart.
Messenger: Mary bowed to His authority.
Mary said at the wedding, '... Do whatever he tells you.’ (Jn 2:5)
Jesus speaks: I give you a parable, a certain man was looking through a catalogue and showing someone else how to find something. When he couldn’t find it immediately, he apologized, "I should have known that."
The other sits patiently waiting to find the treasure they seek.
Messenger: It is so ingrained in us that we are already to be perfect, we should have known, we should not make a mistake. Who are we kidding when we put on these airs of perfection? Our focus is on covering the truth (which is that we don’t know everything). Our focus must be on being open, recognizing we are here to learn and be taught.
Some little children at age 3, are sent to certain schools because they must be better than others. They must excel in knowing more than their brother. Are they sent just to learn? Are they trying to be better than their brothers?
Use Your Talents
October 3, 1993 Chicago Marian Conference 11:30a.m. (excerpt)
Jesus speaks: I have a divine plan for you. I created you with special gifts and talents to be used to do My work. They are not for your own self-promotion. You, My child, are nothing except as I created you. Why try to promote yourself? It is none of your own doing. I gave you the talents you are using. You had nothing to do with it. These talents were given to you to do My work. To use these talents to make yourself feel better than your brother is indeed a sin. You must realize they are loaned to you to work for Me. As you give someone a car, or loan them a place to stay, I loan you your talents to use to work for Me. If you do not work for Me and use them to make yourself better than your brother, you are offending Me. Likewise, if I give you talents and you do not use them because you think you are not as good as your brother, you are not being thankful to Me for My gifts to you. You are not using My gifts and that offends Me greatly. Each person was created by Me to do My work. Each person has all he needs to do My work. To be envious of others is fruitless. They have their job. You have yours. You are not supposed to do their work. That is why you were not given their talents.
Do your own work. Don't be envious of your brothers. Don't hide your talents. You did not earn them. I gave you your talents. You must sing because I will it. Others must do as I will them to do. It displeases Me to give you a gift and watch you hide it and make light of it. I give the gift. You must use all your gifts. They were given to you to do My work. Your brother has his gifts. Be grateful for your brother and he should be for you. You are all chosen by Me for a special mission. You know what to do. It feels right. I plant little seeds in your heart and all you do that is for you in the end feels right. You are not to be doing your brother's work or he yours. Talk to Me that you might know just what your work is and do it.
Do not hide your talents. Praise your God Who gave you these talents. Embrace and use them. This is not pride. This is My plan. I love you. I give to each of you, My precious children, as a mother who buys special Christmas gifts for each child. To buy gifts all the same for all your children is not to respect their specialness, their individuality.
Oh, I love you, little ones, so much. Please come to Me. I am so good and I wait to be with you and share My love with you. Come now. This is your top priority. All else will work when you come to Me first. I love you. You are My chosen children. Come and be filled and I make your loads light and I fill you with the Spirit of Salvation.
All roads that lead to Me are the right roads. Praise Me for I am good and I love you, little dear ones.
Messenger: In the Seedless, Barren, No Fruit on the Vine message, October 8, 1997, Jesus says:
"I did not put you on the earth and then leave you to yourselves. I dwelt amongst you to guide you in all your ways and the people today spit on Me as they did 2,000 years before. For all these years I waited for the likes of you, My people, and why should you have more time for false joy? Joy is not in the molten calf. It is in the words of the Savior."
Messenger: Are we humble like Mary? Do we tuck things in our hearts? Do we act like Jesus? He shows us the way. There aren’t 50 ways, there aren’t 50 different wills. There is one way. We must operate according to His will.
In dwelling in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary we are more likely to do His will. The Holy Spirit works in Mary’s Heart giving us direction. Within the Heart of Jesus are found the treasures of the Divine God. Mary is more perfectly conformed to the will of God than any human person.
Jesus is God. He went to His death on the cross doing God’s will.
We say in the Hail Mary, "Blessed are you among women, blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus."
We recognize Mary as blessed. We see Christ is the first-fruits, He comes through the womb of the Woman.
The Hail Mary is a prayer of truth. We recognize we are sinners.
The men of the earth are blind in many ways and do not even know it because they are the children of Adam and Eve.
Are we humble, will we be taught by our Mother? Will we use Jesus and Mary as our models?
Yesterday someone had a paper open and an old actor took up a whole page. He was strong and looked like a god. I looked at the paper and thought, "Oh, I wish they had large pictures of Jesus and Mary in the paper". I wished that picture was Jesus, showing Him, reminding us to worship Him.
We have idolized our rock stars and actors. We have made them like gods. We study their lives. We study the lives of football players. We make them our idols. A person not rooted in the Lord does not want a picture of Jesus or a crucifix in the room, but such a person will put pictures of rock stars, golf stars, football stars, all over the house, some as big as a door.
Who is our model? Do we study the lives of Jesus and Mary? In the rosary we meditate on the lives of Jesus and Mary, their purity. We see the humility of God, born in a stable. We study the lives of the saints who excelled in great virtue.
Who is our model? If our model is a man of the earth and he is corrupt, we follow his ways.
How about talk shows on television? A man stands there and gives his opinion and many say, "Oh he is cool", so they accept his ways "lock stock and barrel".
We must hold all our models up against the Master. A child of Adam and Eve is a sinner. One may show great virtue, then he is worth study. But why not spend enormous time studying and meditating on the All-perfect God, Jesus Christ, Who came to show us the way and the sinless Virgin Mary, the only human person conceived without sin?
Jesus said:
Matthew 12:46-50
The true kinsfolk of Jesus.
He was still speaking to the crowds when suddenly his mother and his brothers were standing outside and were anxious to have a word with him. But to the man who told him this Jesus replied, ‘Who is my mother?’ ‘Who are my brothers?’ And stretching out his hand towards his disciples he said, ‘Here are my mother and my brothers. Anyone who does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.’
Messenger: The rosary is the children’s prayer.
First we begin with the Creed - this is truth! Second, we give Glory to Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We recognize the unchanging God in the Glory Be, when we answer. ‘As it was in the beginning, is now and will be forever, Amen.’ God does not change. He is. He is constant. God is the "I Am".
Then we pray to the Father 5 times before each decade.
"THY KINGDOM COME, THY WILL BE DONE ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN."
We beg the Father, I do, I beg in my heart now every time I pray the Our Father. I want it so much.
Then we pray 50 times, in 5 decades meditating on Their holy lives, "Pray for us sinners". We aren’t saying we are perfect, we recognize that we are sinners. We say it exactly 53 times in the whole rosary. We hail Mary as blessed among women. We say we are sinners. We recognize the truth.
At the end we often say, (not part of the rosary) "HAIL HOLY QUEEN" (we honor her in her Queenship). In the end she will be recognized as Queen of heaven and earth by all her children. Her Immaculate Heart will triumph. She will be the Queen of all hearts, Jesus the King of all hearts. When she is the Queen of all hearts, He will be the King of all hearts. She leads the children to Him.
"Hail Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness and our hope. TO THEE DO WE CRY, POOR BANISHED CHILDREN OF EVE. To thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this vale of tears. Turn then, O most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us and after this our exile show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus; O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary."
Let us pray:
"O God, Whose only begotten Son, by His life, death, and resurrection, has purchased for us the rewards of eternal life, grant, we beseech Thee, that in meditating upon these mysteries of the most holy rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we may imitate what they contain, and obtain what they promise, through the same Christ our Lord, Amen."
TRUTH - the rosary is a prayer of the children of God, filled with love for Jesus and Mary.
No matter how the world is, Mary our model shows us the way.
In the beginning of the rosary, many pray an Our Father for the Pope, the vicar Christ left as the Head of His Church. We also often pray three Hail Mary’s for the greatest virtues, Faith, Hope and Love.
Mary is most perfected of all human persons in possessing these virtues.
We were instructed at Fatima to say the Fatima prayer between decades.
"Oh my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fire of Hell, lead all souls to Heaven, especially those who have most need of Thy mercy."
The Fatima message tells us to give devotion to her Immaculate Heart.
From The Spirituality of Fatima and Medjugorje:
May 13, 1917
"Pray the rosary every day in order to obtain peace for the world, and the end of the war." (p. 13)
June 13, 1917
"He (God) wants to use you to establish in the world the devotion to my Immaculate Heart." (p. 13)
July 13, 1917
"Again the Mother of God told the children to sacrifice themselves for sinners and to say many times, especially when making a sacrifice, this prayer: "O my Jesus, I offer this for love of Thee, for the conversion of poor sinners, and in reparation for all the sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary."
During this same July apparition, Mary showed the three children a vision of Hell. She told them:
You have seen Hell, where the souls of poor sinners go. To save them, God wishes to establish, in the world, devotion to my Immaculate Heart. If people do what I tell you, many souls will be saved and there will be peace." (p. 14)
"But in the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph, the Holy Father will consecrate Russia to me, Russia will be converted, and a certain period of peace will be granted to the world." (p. 14-15)
Messenger: The five First Saturdays all for reparation.
On August 13, 1917, the Lady did not appear to the children for they had been jailed.
Our Lady appeared August 19, 1917. She told them she was greatly displeased by the action of the civil authorities.
October 13, 1917, there was a great miracle of the sun.
From The Spirituality of Fatima and Medjugorje:
"I am the Lady of the Rosary. I have come to warn the faithful to amend their lives and to ask pardon for their sins. They must not offend Our Lord any more, for He is already too grievously offended by the sins of men. People must say the Rosary. Let them continue saying it every day." (p. 16)
Besides the messages associated with the major Fatima apparitions, there were other revelations given by Our Lady. Before Jacinta died, she told of other messages given her (during her illness) by Mary:
"Tell everybody that God gives graces through the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Tell them to ask grace from her, and that the Heart of Jesus wishes to be venerated together with the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Ask them to plead for peace from the Immaculate Heart of Mary, for the Lord has confided the peace of the world to her." (p. 18)
Messenger: We see the Fatima mission centers around devotion to the Immaculate Heart and the Sacred Heart and I quote:
From The Spirituality of Fatima and Medjugorje, p. 18:
This last message offers us an excellent opportunity to summarize the Fatima message. It tells us "that the Heart of Jesus wishes to be venerated together with the Immaculate Heart of Mary."
At the center of the veneration for which Our Lord calls is the act of consecration to His Sacred Heart and to Mary's Immaculate Heart.
Messenger: Mary Immaculate, help us.
From the litany we honor her as Mother, as Virgin, as Queen and all other titles.
We call her, "gate of heaven", "Ark of the Covenant", "health of the sick", (we are spiritually sick).
A Little Rosary Based on the Litany
The Annunciation - The Angel Gabriel comes to Mary, and speaks concerning her call to be the Mother of God.
The Visitation - Mary visits her cousin, Elizabeth, who is with child.
The Birth of Jesus - Jesus is born in a stable in Bethlehem.
The Presentation of Jesus in the Temple - Mary and Joseph took Jesus to the temple.
The Finding of the Child Jesus in the Temple.
Messenger: Mary is the Mystical rose and Ark of the Covenant.
March 23, 1999 - Second Message
Mary speaks: Do you know, my children, how it is when someone is sick with an infectious disease in a family? No matter how much you watch and wash, sometimes the whole family gets infected.
The poison has spread from parents to child through the generations past. I come with a pure and holy Heart to give to my children so they can offer a most pure sacrifice to the Father.
From The Spirituality of Fatima and Medjugorje p. 13:
"God wishes you to remain in the world for some time because He wants to use you to establish in the world the devotion to my Immaculate Heart. I promise salvation to those who embrace it, and their souls will be loved by God as flowers placed by myself to adorn His throne."
Mary speaks: My children are sick. I am Mary Immaculate, Refuge of sinners, Health of the sick, Comforter of the afflicted.
Your world is infected with a deadly disease. The Father’s family is sick. You can put your children in a locked room, but this is not the will of your Father in heaven. You are to interact with others in the world. You are in a diseased world because of the evil that existed and exists in men’s hearts. To heal your children, you must heal that which surrounds them. You are a body, you are the family of the Father. You cannot just pray for your children and expect relief. You must pray for the whole Church and the world. I beg you to listen to my Son, Jesus, and pray the Prayers of the Good Shepherd, (Shepherds of Christ Prayer Manual).
Publish the Holy Spirit Novena we gave you for healing and protection. Circulate it extensively. Pray the rosary, my children, and do as I have instructed you at Fatima:
Pray at 6:20 p.m. if possible, beginning with the Holy Spirit Novena followed by the prayers of my Son and the rosary. I give you the rosary meditations to use as a family in homes, churches or schools. I am Mary your Mother, Refuge of sinners, Comforter of the afflicted.
The Feast of the Annunciation will soon be here. Prepare for my Feast day. Oh earth, celebrate the feast in your hearts with heaven.
