Prayer for Grace for our Country
Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our new president as he takes office. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

R. We have seen the risen Lord.
God has sent His only Son into
the world because He loves us
so much. The Good News – Jesus
has risen.
God really loves us – This is
reality – We want that interior
union with Him. When people
give into the deadly sins, pride,
anger, jealousy – they turn their
hearts away from God.
God is all pure, all good,
Jesus is the way, the truth and
the life –
We must seek the truth. Satan is
the Father of lies. He wants to
burrow his way in the hearts
using the deadly sins of pride,
anger, jealousy, envy, slothfulness,
lust, gluttony –
Satan tells people to lie.
When a person does something
wrong they are to tell God, with
a firm purpose of amendment,
they are sorry.
The devil wants a person
to think they are always right –
He wants a person to justify himself
when he is wrong and be concerned
only that he argues he is right.
A person of good will wants the
right thing to be made known. He
puts God first not his pride,
jealousy, envy, anger and
being right when they are wrong.
When they are wrong they promptly
admit it and want to rectify
what happened because of
wrong decisions.
Projecting anger out of a
dark heart on innocent others
is wrong. An abuser decides
an innocent other deserves
their abuse. God commands us
to love. Distorted thinking can
become more and more distorted
and twisted as one allows satan
in their hearts through deadly
sins and lets him work in their
hearts in lies and aggressive ways.
Did you ever see or read C.S. Lewis'
Screw Tape Letters? Satan is
commissioning a younger devil to
do the evil to win a person to his
side. He works like a screw
a little at a time going in
for the kill.
It's like the frog and hot water –
If you throw a frog in boiling
water he jumps out, but put
him in warm water and turn
up the heat gradually and he
will stay in the pot and die.
The interior union, communion,
relationship with God is most
important. The Blue Books help us
to have this interior relationship.
But a person that thrives on the
deadly sins – PRIDE – being right
and above at all costs –
JEALOUSY – looking with jealous,
red eyes on their neighbor,
ENVY – seeing the good of another
and wanting to bring them down.
SLOTHFULNESS - refusing the crosses
in our lives – refusing to work
in loving relationships with others
not doing what is needed to advance
the Christian life in us –
ANGER – allowing ourselves because
of anger in us (some deep-seated)
to act out, project, nurse
anger held out on innocent
others –
LUST – lusting sexually –
lusting after power
lusting after negative attention –
taking over an event to
sabotage it for our
own chaos, confusion,
hatred –
GLUTTONY – over indulgence of food,
drink – not disciplining one self
as they should.
Revelation 5: 9-10
They sang a new hymn: You are worthy to take the scroll and to break its seals, because you were sacrificed, and with your blood you bought people for God of every race, language, people and nation and made them a line of kings and priests for God, to rule the world.

R. The deadly sins are sins, bad
habits we can tell ourselves
are okay –
When we want the interior life
rooted in God – we must
be truthful – not make
wrong - right and make right –
wrong for our pride, anger, jealousy.
The Apostles, after Jesus rose, and the
Holy Spirit came upon them were happy
to suffer for the cause of Christ.
There is a far cry from holiness
in the person with deliberate,
malice of intent allowing themselves
to punish and bring down evil
on innocent others.
Jesus calls the leaders hypocrites
if they call themselves religious leaders
before men and operate this
way. The very hairs in our
nose are known by God –
who do we deceive when we
listen to satan and allow ourselves
to be tricked by his evil temptations
and we give in willingly –
God is so good – God gives us
a sharing in His life in baptism –
Giving into jealousy and anger
and pride (being right and up)
drive us away from that
interior light and communication
we need inside with God.
When the devil is ruling in
a man's heart because the man
has let him do so – the man is
dark and despondent inside and
then since it is so awful the
man can become exterior –
instead of interior because
inside they have opened the
door to satan and then he
can tempt them to cause chaos
and confusion in the lives of
others (exteriorly) because
they don't feel good inside.
We want communication of God
in our hearts. We want truth
in us. We want the presence
of the Holy Spirit in us.
God is light and in Him is no darkness.
We want the interior life where we
have the truth in us. We want the
dwelling of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit
in our graced, baptized soul.
John 14: 16-17
I shall ask the Father,
and he will give you another Paraclete
to be with you for ever,
the Spirit of truth
whom the world can never accept
since it neither sees nor knows him;
but you know him,
because he is with you, he is in you.
R. The Apostles spread the Church.
They were eye witnesses to Jesus.
The Holy Spirit filled them – they were
fearless – they were joyful to
suffer for Christ – they were
whipped, threatened, imprisoned –
they had the mission Jesus gave
them in their hearts – they were
fearless for Christ!
The Lord is our light and our salvation.
Jesus taught the Apostles and worked
miracles. They followed in the
footsteps of Jesus.
Romans 4: 25
because we believe in him who raised from the dead our Lord Jesus who was handed over to death for our sins and raised to life for our justification.
R. We must turn to God in all
we do. Put God first – do
everything for His honor and glory.
We must be resurrection people.
We live a new life in Christ –
Christ lives in us. We die
to the ways not like Christ
and we live a new life in
Him –
The Church grew with the Apostles
because they were dedicated to the
mission Christ gave them.
Psalm 33: 1-2, 4-5, 18-19
Shout for joy, you upright;
praise comes well from the honest.
Give thanks to Yahweh on the lyre,
play for him on the ten–stringed lyre.The word of Yahweh is straightforward,
all he does springs from his constancy.
He loves uprightness and justice;
the faithful love of Yahweh fills the earth.
But see how Yahweh watches over those who fear him,
those who rely on his faithful love,
to rescue them from death
and keep them alive in famine.

We need Easter joy in our
lives. We are happy to serve
God, like the Apostles, in
our vocation –
This takes interior union with
God – Mary shows us - she was
the sorrowful Mother under the
cross –

Cling to Me
May 13, 1993
Jesus: My dear child, if you stay close to Me, then I live in you and you live in Me. I am He Who created you and I love you with such an intensity that you will never know. My words are your truth. You must abide in My heart in all things. There is no room for doubt. My ways are steadfast, direct, and without error.
You must stay rooted in Me to ward off the power of the evil one. His grip is paralyzing and crippling. His power is stronger every day.
When you live in Me, I am in your heart and he has no power over Me. I am your God. I am your true lover. I want to protect you. I want to guard you from this force. Stay rooted firmly in Me and he will have no power.
I am He Who comforts you. My hand is upon you. Hold tight to Me, My child. My eyes are fixed right on you. You are My most precious child. I love you as no other can. My arms are about you. My tenderness surrounds you. My love is in your heart. You go not alone. I walk with you.
I share every aspect of your life with you. Cling to Me, feel My presence. It is warm and secure within your chest. There is no room for fear, for I cast out fear and bring you comfort and joy. end of May 13, 1993
