    Celebrating Annunciation

                Oh God thank You for Mary —

                Oh beloved Holy Spirit — Spouse of the Virgin
                    Mary

                    impart to us vision —

                    that we will see with eyes unveiled

                    the great gifts You impart to us

                How is this struggle between good and evil?

                Jesus the New Adam took Flesh that we might
                    be saved.

                There has been much evil at the hands of impure
                    men, but there is the gift God gives to us to
                    day to feed us, to fill us, to enlighten us —

                God is love and

                God gives us His love today to nourish us

                He is, in the Holy Eucharist, no less present than the day He walked the earth —

                Than the day He was carried in Mary's womb

                Jesus took on His back the sins of this sinful race —
                    He paid the price for our sins

                Oh holy splendor — I do not fear for I have tasted Your
                    gifts and I am empowered by the reality of
                    Your truth

                Mary gave to this earth the pure and sinless one —
                    the Immaculate Mother conceived without sin
                    when men were tainted by the sin of Adam and
                    Eve
                    The Savior, Jesus the Son of God, took flesh
                        and was conceived in the womb of the
                        Virgin most fair —

                Oh to meditate on Mary —
                    full of grace
                    sinless

                    It is beyond my comprehension and
                    yet its reality I know in my soul,
                    but I thirst to know more of this great
                    gift God has given to us human creatures —
                    in giving us the Virgin Mary and
                    I long to ponder more deeply the mystery of the
                    Incarnation —

                But if I can even ponder it with real joy in my soul
                    of this great gift

                I can comprehend how it would be to be made more and
                    more filled with God's grace and enlightened
                    to know more deeply insight into the Divine
                    Mysteries

                Insight into the Divine Mysteries —
                    to be filled with joy to know the reality of heaven
                    and the gifts God will give to us in knowing
                    Him in heaven —

                I am not a "pea" brain, but one who is given a gift
                    of knowing things,
                    but the insight of knowing God comes more as
                    the Holy Spirit fills me with His light —
                    so I will know deeper insights into the Divine Mysteries

                Oh we can feel the sweetness of little gifts here below, but
                    the sweetness of knowing more about God is
                    the treasure of all our treasures

                For it is for this for which we were created —
                    to long for God
                    to know Him
                    to be one with Him —

                Oh poor banished children of Eve —
                    do you not see your worth to God —
                    but children you must obey God

                Open your eyes oh children of Adam —
                    see with clarity the Plan of the Father
                    Feast at the table of the Lord

                For love is sweetness
                    Love is living God's will —
                    Leading all to His eternal plan that —
                    will help the children get to heaven —

                A man had a child and loved them so much —
                    giving them every good thing —
                    and you say
                    "Oh how he loves the child"

                And we say
                    What oh children of Adam and Eve
                    Do you not see that
                    God the Father — gives us love
                    God the Father — sent the Savior
                    God the Father — gives us today the gift of the Eucharist

                Know the lifting up when the Holy Spirit
                    fills us and reveals us ever more into deeper
                    insight into the hidden mysteries

                Look at the gift of the Incarnation —
                    Oh so we have such limited vision
                        why?
                        because we are blind and do not see —

                And the more we are filled with His life —
                    Saturated with His grace —
                We are given deeper insight into the hidden mysteries

                We become more and more one in Him

                Our lives is a prayer

                A prayer of oneness for us baptized Catholic —
                    so one with the Mass

                Our lives an offering in uniting so very deeply
                    in all we do to the Holy Sacrifice of the
                    Mass — the Sacrifice of Calvary — Sacramentally
                    made present —

                I am a child of God

                I live as one so deeply one with the Father, Son
                    and Holy Spirit

                I am so filled with His life alive in my graced
                    soul

                And yet in my wounded human nature, I
                    struggle with the concupiscence of
                    the flesh — loving more purely —
                    giving more freely
                    focusing on God's will for all

                Being as God intends me to be
                    I put on Christ - in all I do  — I live as
                        the contemplative in action —

                    Action

                    Life in Him

                    IS ACTION

                    ALIVE IN OUR SOULS

                    not sterile, dry and inactive

                    Alive —

                    Living in oneness

                    Being molded more and more in Him

                    Carried in the Immaculate Heart of my mother
                        -  her spiritual womb
                    The Holy Spirit bringing me forth a child of
                        light

                    Oh yes to taste at the table of God
                        to live His Word alive is us
                        to bask in the truth and be filled with
                        the light of love —
                        God in me
                        Why does God give us such a gift —
                        God is love and He acts lovingly —
                        We are called to obedience to God
                        Doing all things for His honor and glory

                Are you afraid?

                Hear the words of the angel to Mary

Luke 1: 26-38

In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a town in Galilee called Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man named Joseph, of the House of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary. He went in and said to her, ‘Rejoice, you who enjoy God’s favour! The Lord is with you.’ She was deeply disturbed by these words and asked herself what this greeting could mean, but the angel said to her, ‘Mary, do not be afraid; you have won God’s favour. Look! You are to conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you must name him Jesus. He will be great and will be called Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his ancestor David; he will rule over the House of Jacob for ever and his reign will have no end.’ Mary said to the angel, ‘But how can this come about, since I have no knowledge of man?’ The angel answered, ‘The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will cover you with its shadow. And so the child will be holy and will be called Son of God. And I tell you this too: your cousin Elizabeth also, in her old age, has conceived a son, and she whom people called barren is now in her sixth month, for nothing is impossible to God.’ Mary said, ‘You see before you the Lord’s servant, let it happen to me as you have said.’ And the angel left her. 

 

Sing:  Be Not Afraid

                Oh God let us live as You intend us —
                    realizing how You have gifted us so uniquely
                    in helping to contribute in this magnificent
                    mission

Mother of Our Christ Life

    Rita Ring writes: "Mary is always desiring to bring forth her children to a greater Christ likeness. It is through Mary that we join in deepest intimacy with Jesus' Heart. Jesus came into this world in the womb of His Mother through the power of the Holy Spirit. It is today, in the womb of Mary, in the heart of Mary, that we are transformed through the Holy Spirit more and more to the likeness of Jesus. Let us go to the heart of our Mother and ask the Holy Spirit to increasingly sanctify us that we may go ever more deeply into the Heart of Jesus, the Heart of endless love. We do not fully comprehend the love of God. We are so limited in our vision. We do not fully know how Jesus' Heart is truly burning and on fire. Do we know what it is to feel love burning in our heart? This is what Jesus felt when He allowed Himself to suffer during His Passion and to die on the cross. His Heart was on fire."⁷
