A Prayer for Intimacy with the Lamb, the Bridegroom of the Soul

Oh Lamb of God, Who take away the sins of the world, come and act on my soul most intimately. I surrender myself, as I ask for the grace to let go, to just be as I exist in You and You act most intimately on my soul. You are the Initiator. I am the soul waiting Your favors as You act in me. I love You. I adore You. I worship You. Come and possess my soul with Your Divine Grace, as I experience You most intimately.

Messenger: Our Lord has asked us to pray for a special priest and three other special priests and His designated priests.

Messenger: Please pray for an urgent intention, spread the blood of Jesus on them, consecrate their hearts, cast the devil far from them, and ask for a special outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

Messenger: My dear beloved God,

                           I wish to present here the second last
                      homily delivered by Father Carter.

 
       In words from today's Gospel, Jesus tells us, "Shoulder my yoke and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart." (Mt 11:29) Yes, He bids us, come to His heart to learn all the lessons of the spiritual life. Going to His Heart we certainly learn about love, love of the Father, love of our neighbor in Christ, this magnificent Heart of Jesus which loved His Father even to a brutal death on the Cross for the love of us for our salvation.

       We certainly learn about suffering, how to suffer, from the pierced Heart of Jesus. We also certainly learn that even in the midst of deepest suffering, Jesus wants us to have a spiritual joy and a peace, because He says, "My yoke is easy and my burden light if you unite yourself to Me." He certainly teaches us how to be spiritually sensitive and kind and gentle, and of course – humility. All these and other lessons of the spiritual life, Jesus will teach us if only we come to His Heart.

       An outstanding example of one who I'm sure went constantly to the Heart of Christ was one of the greatest apostles of Jesus' Heart, Claude, St. Claude de la Columbière; and in words which I'm about now to read to you from Claude, you see his complete dedication to Christ, his trust in Christ, his love of Christ, you see his sensitivity of heart. Claude tells us:
 

"You share my burdens,

(He is speaking to Jesus)

You take them upon yourself.
You listen to me fondly when I tell you my troubles.
You never fail to lighten them.
I find You at all times and in all places.
You never leave me.
I will always find You wherever I go.

Old age or misfortune will not cause You to abandon me.
You will never be closer to me than
When all seems to go against me.
No matter how miserable I may be,
You will never cease to be my friend.

You tolerate my faults with admirable patience.
You are always ready to come to me, if I so desire it.

Jesus, may I die praising you!
May I die loving you!
May I die for the love of you."¹

Jesus speaks: Do you thank Me for the gifts I have given to
                               you?

                         Some of you displease Me, you who I have gifted
                               and called.

                         You are not satisfied to accept your calling,
                               you want the top seats, you cause
                               Me grief and I am so good to you.

                         You hurt My heart.

                         It is not My messenger and leaders you
                               hurt, you hurt Me.

                         You receive such gifts and you talk about
                               the ones I have used to give you the gifts.

                         Get off your high horses.

                         It hurts My Heart when you work against
                                My Plan to help you.

                         How are your hearts?

                         Are you pure or filled with pride?

                         You hurt Me when you attack My messengers
                                and My leaders.

                         You do not thank Me and you work to cause
                                disharmony.

                         Look inside your hearts.

                         Thank Me for My gifts.

                         Oh the ungrateful pompous ones hurt My Heart.

                         They are their own king.

                         No one can get above them.

                         They want to be first and strike out at the
                                leaders to get power.

                              Do you see My Mother March 21, 2001?
                         Such gifts I give you.

                              How can I work with hearts filled
                         with envy?

                              You are never happy, you criticize and
                         do not thank God.

                              You do not even know how quick
                         I could pull your rug out from
                         under your feet.

                              I know your heart. I know how you
                         think and act and are. You do not
                         fool Me.

                              I give you gifts and you want to
                         upseat those I have chosen to help you.

                              I see the hearts. I look inside.
                         I know your thoughts, I know how
                         you are in your heart.

Messenger:      On that day March 21, 2001, I saw her, she 
                      was so gold, I looked in awe. When the
                      picture arrived it looked as if her image
                      was lighted.

Jesus speaks:      Do you thank Me?

                              Here is a setting, Mary, Joan, Carol, Ed, 
                         Debby, Merle, Cathy all worked on a mailing.
                         If Merle has problems being to close to others
                         she may have problems with those she
                         works with.

                              So often the devil creates havoc by working
                         on people's insecure feelings.

                              Marian and Ed wasted days arguing and
                         never accomplished anything.

                              They spent all their time working on their
                         relationship. The devil distracted them. What
                         needed to be done for My work was never
                         accomplished, they played games, little games
                         with each other. Marian was in authority
                         over Ed, Ed resented it, he caused Marian
                         problems for doing her job. He caused 
                         problems with every job that needed to be done.
                         He was tempted by the devil to always be disharmonious
                         and he was.

                         Think of how much time was wasted because
                         they were always working out Ed's resentment
                         instead of My work.

                         Some people just want control.

                         So I ask you to work hard, heads together,
                         to be docile and humble and accomplish
                         My work.

                         Some people just keep working their angry, unhappy
                         feelings out on those over them.

                         Happiness is found in the heart.

                         Quit using My work table to get your angry
                                moods settled.

                         Look inside yourself.

                         Your discontent comes from your own heart.

                         Some people just cause problems because they have
                         a "snarly" attitude.

                         Why can't you see it is the devil working when
                         he tempts you to raise up against authority.

                         Some people just use others they work with
                         to battle old hatred inside, old insecure
                         feelings.

                         I know your hearts and your motives. Quit
                                fooling yourself.

                         If you want to serve and help me you would do
                                so.

                         Look at your life. Did you have trouble with
                                people your whole life? Did you have
                                trouble getting along?

                         How silly you just act like-this is the only
                                person you have trouble with when you
                                have a real history of division and
                                bitterness with those closest to you.

                         Quit blaming others for the bitterness and
                                hatred inside of you. You look for a
                                victim because you don't feel good.
                                Then you heap all your anger on them.

                         How that hurts Me, when I send you gifts
                                and love through those over you and
                                you won't get off your ladder, you
                                won't be under anybody and anybody
                                over you is wrong because you
                                should be on top.

                         I am asking you to study these words of the
                                gentle priest on humility.

Humility

Humility is a very important virtue given to us for the spiritual journey.

Humility is both the realization of what we are as creatures of God and the concrete implementation of this realization in our Christian lives. Humility, therefore, is not an exercise in self-depreciation; it is not telling yourself that you are no good, that you really have nothing of any significance to contribute to the service of God. Humility is based on truth. It is compatible with the recognition that God has given a person certain gifts, even great gifts, of nature and grace. If we do not recognize our God-given gifts, we do not thank God for them as we should, nor properly develop these gifts according to His will. God wants us not only to recognize the good that is in us, but also to realize the source of this goodness. Although we have a responsibility to cooperate with His graces, God is the One Who is chiefly responsible for what we are. If one person has advanced to a level in the Christian life that is beyond the level of another, it is ultimately because God has given that person greater graces.

If humility is based on truth and, consequently, allows us to properly recognize our gifts, it also necessitates that we admit to the evil within us, which is also part of the truth and must be acted upon. Humility not only bids us to admit that there is evil in us, but also tells us that, as creatures of God, we should conform to His will and work against this evil side of our persons. In summary, humility allows us to properly evaluate both the good and evil within ourselves.

Here is a quotation from St. Paul which helps us to preserve, and grow in, humility: Who made you so important? What have you got that was not given to you? And if it was given to you, why are you boasting as though it were your own? (1 Cor 4:7).

And in the Letter of James we read: Humble yourselves before the Lord and he will lift you up. (Jm 4:10)

                            which Father Carter used frequently. At Our Lord's
                            direction I quote as follows.

136. THE FOURTH DAY

        A MEDITATION ON TWO STANDARDS

The one of Christ, our supreme leader and lord,
the other of Lucifer, the deadly enemy of our
human nature

PRAYER.   The usual preparatory prayer.

137. FIRST PRELUDE.   This is the history. Here it will be that Christ calls and wants all beneath His standard, and Lucifer, on the other hand, wants all under his.

138. SECOND PRELUDE.   This is a mental representation of the place. It will be here to see a great plain, comprising the whole region about Jerusalem, where the sovereign Commander-in-Chief of all the good is Christ our Lord; and another plain about the region of Babylon, where the chief of the enemy is Lucifer.

139. THIRD PRELUDE.   This is to ask for what I desire. Here it will be to ask for a knowledge of the deceits of the rebel chief and help to guard myself against them; and also to ask for a knowledge of the true life exemplified in the sovereign and true Commander, and the grace to imitate Him.
 

FIRST PART

THE STANDARD OF SATAN

140. FIRST POINT.   Imagine you see the chief of all the enemy in the vast plain about Babylon, seated on a great throne of fire and smoke, his appearance inspiring horror and terror.

141. SECOND POINT.   Consider how he summons innumerable demons, and scatters them, some to one city and some to another, throughout the whole world, so that no province, no place, no state of life, no individual is overlooked.

142. THIRD POINT.   Consider the address he makes to them, how he goads them on to lay snares for men and bind them with chains. First they are to tempt them to covet riches (as Satan himself is accustomed to do in most cases) that they may the more easily attain the empty honors of this world, and then come to overweening pride.

   The first step, then, will be riches, the second honor, the third pride. From these three steps the evil one leads to all other vices.
 

SECOND PART

THE STANDARD OF CHRIST

143.   In a similar way, we are to picture to ourselves the sovereign and true Commander, Christ our Lord.

144. FIRST POINT.   Consider Christ our Lord, standing in a lowly place in a great plain about the region of Jerusalem, His appearance beautiful and attractive.

145. SECOND POINT.   Consider how the Lord of all the world chooses so many persons, apostles, disciples, etc., and sends them throughout the whole world to spread His sacred doctrine among all men, no matter what their state or condition.

Jesus speaks: Mary appears on the building to lead you to
                               the Reign of My Sacred Heart.

Mary speaks: I stood beneath the cross of my Son, and my Heart was in such pain for I saw Him before my eyes. I saw Him covered with blood. I saw Him die. My Heart, my children, my Heart to watch my Son, but my Heart, my Heart, how I suffered for my little children of the world that give in to this world and give up the love of my Son. O my little children of light, I give you this message. Carry this light into the darkness for your Mother Mary, for I stood beneath the cross and I cried. I cried for the little ones. I cried for the young ones, the ones that do not care and will lose their souls. How do I make you see for you will not listen to me? What can I do? I come. I appear. I beg. I plead. I give you these gifts from my Son, and you reject me. I do not deliver messages very often anymore for I have been ignored. The message is the same. You do not read the messages I have given to you. Please help me. Help the little children. I appear. I appear. I appear, and I am ignored. I stood beneath the cross, and I cried. I cried, and my Heart was in such anguish for my little children, for I am searching for them this day as I searched for the Child Jesus. Please, please help me. I cannot hold back the hand of my Son any longer. I am Mary, your Mother. I ask you to help my children. You are my children of light.

Song: O Lady of Light, shining so bright, be with us this day, guiding our way, O Lady, O Lady of Light.

Mary speaks: I appear to you as Our Mother of Sorrows.

A rosary can be used to pray for healing. It is powerful to unite our prayers to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and pray through the powerful intercession of Our Lady of Clearwater.

In times of trouble, for special prayer, we can use our rosary and pray as follows.

A Rosary for Healing or for Someone with Cancer.

On one Hail Mary bead or as many as you desire, say: 

May God heal                     through the intercession of Our Lady of Clearwater in union with the Mass and all the Masses being celebrated around the world.

Pray the Hail Mary or Hail Mary's then pray this after the Hail Mary.

May the cancer be uprooted and thrown into the sea.

We believe with all our hearts.

After the Glory Be — pray the following petition.

May                     be healed through the intercession of Our Lady of Clearwater if it be the holy will of God.
