The Novena Rosary
Mysteries |
Join in 6:20 Prayers tonight on Radio.
They really sound good.
Please Pray for Bob & special intentions.
Consecration Prayer for Peace
I consecrate Russia and the Ukraine to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
I further consecrate the priests, the Church and the world to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary.
I do this in the name of Jesus in as far as I am able, united to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, praying to the Father, in the Holy Spirit, with all the angels and saints and the souls in purgatory through the powerful intercession of Mary, Queen of Peace. Amen.
I further consecrate myself, all members of my family and ask the Holy Spirit to fill us. I spread the Blood of Jesus on all above, I cast the devil into hell away from all of us and consecrate all persons, in as far as I am able, to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart.
Prayer for Grace for Election and our Country
Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

R.
Do you feel the presence of the
Father, Son and Holy Spirit?
The Father, has a plan for us.
God wants this relationship with us.
We are here to grow in our intimacy
with God.
In this Lent we can spend time
alone with God and think of the
presence of the Father, Son and
Holy Spirit in our heart.
Jesus: Be alone with Me, close
your eyes, think of the presence of
God, All three Persons, dwelling in
your heart.
Meditate, empty your mind, think
only of the presence of God. Make
a spiritual communion, now.
Take time, be alone with Me.
Everyday during Lent, morning and
night, empty your mind, make a
spiritual communion, think of God’s
presence with you, close your eyes,
be alone with Me.
This will help you to grow in God’s
presence all day, the more you do
this, all thru Lent.
I went into the desert to pray for
40 days and be with My Father,
practice this every day during Lent.
Being alone with God. Knowing
My presence!!!!

The Commandments
are Good for You.
Today's Reading
Deuteronomy 4:1, 5-9
'And now, Israel, listen to the laws and customs which I am teaching you today, so that, by observing them, you may survive to enter and take possession of the country which Yahweh, God of your ancestors, is giving you.
Look: as Yahweh my God commanded me, I have taught you laws and customs, for you to observe in the country of which you are going to take possession. Keep them, put them into practice, and other peoples will admire your wisdom and prudence. Once they know what all these laws are, they will exclaim, "No other people is as wise and prudent as this great nation!" And indeed, what great nation has its gods as near as Yahweh our God is to us whenever we call to him? And what great nation has laws and customs as upright as the entirety of this Law which I am laying down for you today? 'But take care, as you value your lives! Do not forget the things which you yourselves have seen, or let them slip from your heart as long as you live; teach them, rather, to your children and to your children's children.
R. Think of all those who died in
service of their country.
God calls us to help others.
We are dependent on one another.
Think of all who did so much so
we can put a meal on the table.
God created us to know, love and
serve God and thereby attain our
eternal salvation.
It is God’s will we work with each
other and support each other in a
family.
Some have grown up in homes
where there was not unity, but
conflict, tension and selfishness
caused by generational dysfunction.
The family is to be like a little
Church, where there is unity and
strength and support, an atmosphere
to grow in.
This family left scars when there
was not support, strength, love,
unity, co-operation in the family.
Recovery is needed!!
If there is no recognition of such
things as abuse, fear of abandonment,
lack of love, disunity, the adult -
child still has dysfunctional hurts,
issues, fears, scars when dealing in
relationships.
An adult of 60, in such case
Jesus said, is still that little wounded
child inside that needs unfinished
business handled and recovery take
place for growth in love and relationships.
Fr. Joe said an abused person without
recovery does not want to let go and
holds on to division and holds on to
anger and holds on many times.
Home can be a place where one never
wants to feel happy there or united
from a traumatic childhood.
They can keep trying to work out
their problems outside the family and
treat family members as enemies they
refuse to trust (which is the opposite
of how God intended family to be.)
Some could have learned in childhood
to always be divided and have some
form of anger with one person in the
family, to act out suppressed childhood
anger.
They can work to make tension
because it is familiar and normal to them.
This is dysfunction.
Some only have practiced love-hate
relationships and have no discipline
or skills in healthy relationships.
Some have problems with men because
of their fathers and some can have
problems because of their mothers.
Fr, Carter says God sends people in
our lives to help us.
A window when closed, lets in no air.
Some survival tactics children learn
were these and many more.
Some using drama for attention
(negative attention,
they think may be better than none.)
Jesus said, a person that does not
have love inside cannot give what
they don’t have.
Same little girl inside a 60 year old
body without recovery, using
survival tactics on innocent others,
some forcing their dysfunctional
way in some form of force.
These writings tell us of the
heavenly Father’s love for us and
plan in working together to help
one another and build the
Kingdom of God!!!
R. Mysteries of Light
God is light and in Him is no
darkness.
R. Teachings
to lift you up.
Many people's parents are deceased
and some wounded ones still won’t
let go of issues
they need to face.
When Jesus gave me the Blue Books
He told me for 6 weeks to
“Feed the Hungry”
Jesus feeds us with Himself in the
Eucharist -
He gives us His letters of love.
God loves us much more than we
could ever love ourselves.
Jesus loved us so much He died for
us.
We were created social beings by
God and commanded to love.

Jesus:
I am your Sacred Heart.
August 23, 1993 (excerpt)
Jesus: I am the One true God. I am the Light of life. He who abides in Me will have life eternal, for the drink I give is My Blood and the food I give is My Body. Drink and eat and have everlasting life.
My child, that is all you need to know. Love one
another and be good that you may enter into My
kingdom.
August 24, 1993
I Am Your Bridegroom (excerpt)
Jesus: My dear child, how I love you, you will never know, I missed our time together here. This is our time and place together; you are My beautiful spouse. I love you so deeply, open yourself up to all the love I have to give you, I want you to come to Me. This is our meeting place. This is a place of peace. I long to be with you My child, as you do for Me, it is as being in love, your mind is always one with your lover, your mind is always united to Me. Look at Me as One who loves you so much, who really cares what you need, who cares how you feel, who wants to comfort you in your sorrow and be joyous with you in your joy, who wants to shower you with gifts and longs to be with you at all times. It is not a one-sided love affair, it is a true love relationship, except you cannot even comprehend the extent of this love on earth. Bring all your burdens to Me and I am there for you waiting to listen and comfort you. I am alive My beautiful love, I am truly alive and it is up to you to let go to this love with Me. I will never, ever let you down, in your hardest times, know it is My love that always sustains you. You are so precious to Me. I wait for you My beloved. Come to Me. Live in Me. I want this union with you all day. Ask and you shall receive, My child, I am here with you now and always, always, I love you. I wait for you. I want to love others through you.
4th Sunday of Lent
March 22, 2009
INTRODUCTION – (2 Chronicles 36:14-16, 19-23; Eph. 2:4-10; John 3:14-21) Last Sunday we heard about God’s covenant with his people as they traveled with Moses from slavery in Egypt to freedom in the Promised Land. God promised his people many blessings and his special love and in return they were to keep his Law, especially the part of the Law we call “The Ten Commandments.” The Jewish historian who wrote the book of Chronicles gives us a summary of over seven centuries of infidelities on the part of God’s people to their covenant. The consequences of their infidelity led to untold disaster for the nation, but God would not let them be destroyed totally. Just to help you visualize this better, the Babylonians who practically destroyed them came out of modern day Iraq. The Persians who restored them to their land came out of Iran. Our psalm refrain is the lament of God’s people as they suffered captivity in Babylon. Next week we willhear Jeremiah promise that God would make a new covenant with his people since the old one was so poorly kept. We celebrate and renew God’s new covenant as always as we celebrate the Eucharist today.
R. They rebelled against God’s covenant.
He said you must follow the commandments.
First commandment says
God must be first,
Mary: I am Our Lady of Clearwater.
Mother of the Universe
I am the singular vessel!!
Proverbs 8:22-31
'Yahweh created me, first-fruits of his fashioning, before the oldest of his works. From everlasting, I was firmly set, from the beginning, before the earth came into being. The deep was not, when I was born, nor were the springs with their abounding waters. Before the mountains were settled, before the hills, I came to birth; before he had made the earth, the countryside, and the first elements of the world. When he fixed the heavens firm, I was there, when he drew a circle on the surface of the deep, when he thickened the clouds above, when the sources of the deep began to swell, when he assigned the sea its boundaries -- and the waters will not encroach on the shore -- when he traced the foundations of the earth, I was beside the master craftsman, delighting him day after day, ever at play in his presence, at play everywhere on his earth, delighting to be with the children of men.
R. Mary, seat of
Wisdom.
Obeying the commandments is good for us.

Mysteries of Light
The Baptism of
Jesus
1.
Mark 1: 9-11
It was at this time that Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptised in the Jordan by John. And at once, as he was coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens torn apart and the Spirit, like a dove, descending on him. And a voice came from heaven, ‘You are my Son, the Beloved; my favour rests on you.’
2. Jesus: The
Father has a Plan.
He created us because He loves us
and wants us in heaven with
Him
one day.
3. Jesus: You have a free will to obey
My
Father’s will and live in love or
do your own
will and be unloving.
4. The Baptism of John the Baptist
was a Baptism
of Repentance.
5. Jesus: I am the Good Shepherd, I
laid
down My life for My Flock.
6. Jesus: The hired man sees the
wolf
coming and runs away.
7. Jesus: I am the Good Shepherd I
know
Mine and Mine know Me.
8. The voice of the Father was heard,
“This is
My beloved Son in whom
I am well pleased.”
9. The sky was thrown open and the
Holy Spirit
was seen in the form
of a dove.
10. Dear God:
Life is so fragile. We live the life,
death and resurrection
of Jesus in
our lives.
You are our Creator, God.
We are Your creatures.
Help us to die to those ways in our
lives not
like Jesus, so we can rise in
Him.
God, please help me to do Your will
in love.
Help me to live virtuously and to
discipline my
will to follow Your will.
I am sorry for my sins of rebellion
doing my own
will.
Amen.
God is a God of miracles.
Miracles are normal to God.
We receive the supernatural virtues of
faith,
hope and love in baptism.
The Marriage at
Cana
1.
John
2: 1-10
On the third day there was a wedding at Cana in Galilee. The mother of Jesus was there, and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited. And they ran out of wine, since the wine provided for the feast had all been used, and the mother of Jesus said to him, ‘They have no wine.’ Jesus said, ‘Woman, what do you want from me? My hour has not come yet.’ His mother said to the servants, ‘Do whatever he tells you.’ There were six stone water jars standing there, meant for the ablutions that are customary among the Jews: each could hold twenty or thirty gallons. Jesus said to the servants, ‘Fill the jars with water,’ and they filled them to the brim. Then he said to them, ‘Draw some out now and take it to the president of the feast.’ They did this; the president tasted the water, and it had turned into wine. Having no idea where it came from—though the servants who had drawn the water knew—the president of the feast called the bridegroom and said, ‘Everyone serves good wine first and the worse wine when the guests are well wined; but you have kept the best wine till now.’
2. Eve disobeyed
God, she wanted to
be equal to God.
3. Jesus in the marriage of Cana referred
to
Mary as "woman".
Mary is the "New Eve"
4. Mary is the perfect handmaid of the
Lord.
5. Water was turned into wine at the
wedding of Cana.
6. In the Mass, bread and wine is changed
into
the Body and Blood of Jesus.
7. This is a miracle.
8. At the foot of the cross on Calvary,
Jesus
referred to Mary as "woman"
as He gave us Mary
for our spiritual
Mother.
9. Jesus is the "New Adam" and Mary
is the "New
Eve”.
10. Prayer is love.
Mary has powerful intercession.
Building the
Kingdom of God
1. John
18: 36-37
Jesus replied, ‘Mine is not a kingdom of this world; if my kingdom were of this world, my men would have fought to prevent my being surrendered to the Jews. As it is, my kingdom does not belong here.’ Pilate said, ‘So, then you are a king?’ Jesus answered, ‘It is you who say that I am a king. I was born for this, I came into the world for this, to bear witness to the truth; and all who are on the side of truth listen to my voice.’
2. God is love, to
build the Kingdom of
God is to build the Kingdom
of love.
3. Love gives for the good of the other.
4. Building the Kingdom of God has to
be
dependent on God, the focus is
on God and God’s
will.
5. God calls us in our vocation to spread
the
Good News - the Good News is
about God.
6. We were created to know, love and
serve God
and thereby attain our
eternal salvation.
7. God created us in love, He is the
Creator, we
are the creatures.
8. The first commandment tells us God
must be
first.
9. The greatest commandment is this:
Matthew 22: 36-40
'Master, which is the greatest commandment of the Law?' Jesus said to him, 'You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment. The second resembles it: You must love your neighbour as yourself. On these two commandments hang the whole Law, and the Prophets too.'
10. Jesus: Oh
precious one, spread the
Good News of the love
of My Sacred
Heart.
I am love. I am the New Adam and
Mary is the New
Eve.
Eve disobeyed God. Eve wanted to be
equal to
God.
A person living to help others and
building My
Kingdom is obedient to
God. They seek to know
God.
They live a virtuous life. They have
supernatural virtues of faith, hope,
and love.
They are humble and prudent and just.
They live in loving obedience to
My Father’s
will.
They don’t base their lives on their
will, their
focus, they are dying to the
imperfections in
their behavior and
rising above, living in My
image and
likeness, witnessing to God before
others, growing in love.
R. Oh God, I love you so much, thank
You for Your
gifts to me, give me
the grace I need most to be
as You
want me to be.
Prayer for Union with Jesus
Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart.
I am Yours to possess. I am Yours to use. I want to be selfless and only exist in You. Help me to spoon out all that is me and be an empty vessel ready to be filled by You. Help me to die to myself and live only for You. Use me as You will. Let me never draw my attention back to myself. I only want to operate as You do, dwelling within me.
I am Yours, Lord. I want to have my life in You. I want to do the will of the Father. Give me the strength to put aside the world and let You operate my very being. Help me to act as You desire. Strengthen me against the distractions of the devil to take me from Your work.
When I worry, I have taken my focus off of You and placed it on myself. Help me not to give in to the promptings of others to change what in my heart You are making very clear to me. I worship You, I adore You and I love You. Come and dwell in me now.
-God's Blue Book, January 17, 1994
The
Transfiguration
1.
2 Peter 1:16-19
When we told you about the power and the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, we were not slavishly repeating cleverly invented myths; no, we had seen his majesty with our own eyes. He was honoured and glorified by God the Father, when a voice came to him from the transcendent Glory, This is my Son, the Beloved; he enjoys my favour. We ourselves heard this voice from heaven, when we were with him on the holy mountain.
So we have confirmation of the words of the prophets; and you will be right to pay attention to it as to a lamp for lighting a way through the dark, until the dawn comes and the morning star rises in your minds.
2. Jesus showed the
Apostles Himself
transfigured, they had just seen Jesus
normal before.
3. God has given many signs and
miracles in our
lives.
To those with great faith miracles are
not needed, to those
lacking faith no
sign or miracle is enough.
4. The focus must be on God, some
focus on God
His will and some
focus on themselves
and some reject God and give
themselves the credit.
5. Virtues are good habits that grow
in a person
to make them more like
Jesus.
6. The deadly sins are sins.
They are bad habits.
God calls us to love our brothers.
The deadly sins come from
the
wounded human nature. They are
unloving to
our brothers.
The deadly sins are being unloving
to others.
They are pride, anger, jealousy, envy,
slothfulness, gluttony
and lust.
7. Jesus: I am the way, the truth and the
life.
I am love. You were created to love.
8. John 13: 34-35
I give you a new commandment:
love one another;
you must love one another
just as I have loved you.
It is by your love for one another,
that everyone will recognise you
as my disciples.
9. 1 John 4:20
Anyone who says 'I love God' and hates his brother, is a liar, since whoever does not love the brother whom he can see cannot love God whom he has not seen.
10. Isaiah 53:7-9
Ill–treated and afflicted,
he never opened his mouth,
like a lamb led to the slaughter–house,
like a sheep dumb before its shearers
he never opened his mouth.
Forcibly, after sentence, he was taken.
Which of his contemporaries
was concerned
at his having been cut off
from the land of the living,
at his having been struck dead
for his people's rebellion?
He was given a grave with the wicked,
and his tomb is with the rich,
although he had done no violence,
had spoken no deceit.
The Institution
of the Eucharist
1.
1 Corinthians 11: 23-26
For the tradition I received from the Lord and also handed on to you is that on the night he was betrayed, the Lord Jesus took some bread, and after he had given thanks, he broke it, and he said, 'This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.' And in the same way, with the cup after supper, saying, 'This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Whenever you drink it, do this as a memorial of me.' Whenever you eat this bread, then, and drink this cup, you are proclaiming the Lord's death until he comes.
2. Self-denial.
If a person doesn't discipline themselves,
they
can be wild.
God gives us a sharing in His life in
Baptism.
God gives us the commandments to
live by.
We are under God, He is Creator, we
are
creatures, we can't demand we
can do what we
want.
2. Man has unruly passions, a wounded
human
nature,
He must disciple his will and live
by the Law of
God, in love with his
brothers.
3. We see Judas at the Last Supper. Judas
was
loved by Jesus.
Judas was sneaky behind Jesus' back.
Judas betrayed Jesus with a kiss for
30 pieces
of silver.
4. When we discipline our lives, our
virtues
deepen, when we refuse to
obey God and live
willfully and
rebelliously against God's Law, the
virtues run down.
5. We see Peter wasn't perfect, he
denied
Christ, cut off the ear of the
high priest’s
servant.
But Jesus made him the first pope.
6. God offers us forgiveness for our sins
when
we are sorry and confess them.
God is merciful.
The proud person puts themselves
before God.
God wants us to be sorry for our
sins, sin
offends God.
7. The more we realize our dependence
on God,
the more we can grow in
holiness.
8. Justice is a virtue where we give to
God and
others, what is their due.
We have a lifetime to
curb our
unruly passions and to grow more
and
more in the image of God.
Song: I Am a God of Justice
9. When we go to the Eucharist, God
feeds the
life He gives us in
baptism with Himself.
10. A Prayer before the Holy Sacrifice of the
Mass
Let me be a holy sacrifice and unite with God in the sacrament of His greatest love.
I want to be one in Him in this act of love, where He gives Himself to me and I give myself as a sacrifice to Him. Let me be a holy sacrifice as I become one with Him in this my act of greatest love to Him.
Let me unite with Him more, that I may more deeply love Him. May I help make reparation to His adorable Heart and the heart of His Mother, Mary. With greatest love, I offer myself to You and pray that You will accept my sacrifice of greatest love. I give myself to You and unite in Your gift of Yourself to me. Come and possess my soul.
Cleanse me, strengthen me, heal me. Dear Holy Spirit act in the heart of Mary to make me more and more like Jesus.
Father, I offer this my sacrifice, myself united to Jesus in the Holy Spirit to You. Help me to love God more deeply in this act of my greatest love.
Give me the grace to grow in my knowledge, love and service of You and for this to be my greatest participation in the Mass. Give me the greatest graces to love You so deeply in this Mass, You who are so worthy of my love.
-Mass Book, December 27, 1995
Colossians 1:24
It makes me happy to be suffering for you now, and in my own body to make up all the hardships that still have to be undergone by Christ for the sake of his body, the Church,
John 12:24-25
In all truth I tell you,
unless a wheat grain falls into the earth
and dies,
it remains only a single grain;
but if it dies
it yields a rich harvest.
Anyone who loves his life loses it;
anyone who hates his life in this
world will keep it for eternal life.
Romans 6:8
But we believe that, if we died with Christ, then we shall live with him too.
Luke 24:26
Was it not necessary that the Christ should
suffer before entering into his glory?'
R. We should ask God to help us to love
Him deeply.
John 10:10
The thief comes only to steal and kill and
destroy.
I have come so that they may have life and have it to the
full.

Guiding Light homily series — Reflect on the Word — Cycle B The Word leaves an impression on our souls. In my thoughts and reflections are born a more tangible understanding of these eternal concepts presented in the Gospels and the readings. Anyone can read a sentence, but not anyone can absorb it's true meaning. Truth, in this day and age, is almost a matter of opinion or individual entitlement. We believe that Christ's truth is our Roman Catholic Church. We, as priests, champion it's teachings; we are ambassadors for the Pope and Christ to those faces looking at us. We are the light by which our congregation reads to reflect upon real truth and we do it hand in hand. $10 |
Guiding Light homily series — Steadfast to the Son — Cycle A The sunflower is a great example of how we should be steadfastly guided by light. What a powerful thought that this exceptional plant is not stuck in one pose day in and day out, yet adaptable and magnetized to the sun. We feel the same about our Son. Our heads turns to face Christ as each day presents its challenges to find light. We join together like plants in a field and soak up the Son through the pulpit. We are a warm circle of strength using the wind of our breath to carry our priests' words, Christ's words, to new rich soil. $10 |
Guiding Light — Focusing on the Word — Cycle B At times we may feel that our path to Christ is a bit "out of focus". Like the disciples in the Book of Mark, this ordinary life clouds our vision of Christ's Divinity. We may doubt the practicality or possibility of applying His teachings and example to our modern life. Cycle B's homilies are a "guiding light" to help us realize Jesus' Messianic greatness and His promise of better things to come. $10 |
Guiding Light — Feed My Soul — Cycle C In a world rapidly advancing and encouraging personal gain, we are faced with modern problems. There is a challenge to find time in our busy schedules for Sunday Mass or a family meal. We are able to research, shop, bank and even work without hearing one human voice. It is no wonder that we may often feel disconnected and famished at our week's end. In Fr. Joe's third book of homilies from Cycle C, we are reminded of the charity that Christ intended us to show each other. We have a calling to turn the other cheek and be the Good Samaritan to others. We are rewarded with the Father's kingdom and love when we are not worthy. We are not left alone or hungry. $10 |
