R. How can we give back to God when
we hurt others during our
whole life —
Or when we took things that didn't
really belong to us — our whole
life —
God gives us the sky, the stars,
the air we breathe —
our friends —
our life —
We can be greedy and selfish
We can be grouchy and think
nothing is right with
the world and
Complain and think negative
thoughts —
that will surely make a
rotten time —
What about a life of this —
when God is love and
God has gifted us everyday —
How can we make it up to
God and to all those in the
course of a lifetime we were
not nice too — while we told
ourselves we were mistreated
and yet we mistreated others by
how we acted —
It's all about our point of view —
How is our vision —
Do we love the job God called us to
because we love Him —
Are we a team player — really
loving others —
focusing on God the Father who sent His
only begotten Son in this world
to pay for our sins —
Do we recognize God created
us to contribute to the building
of His Kingdom and we owe it
to God to do this — not rebel
against God our Creator —
The devil wants the person
being unloving to steal that
which is most dear to a person
to hurt them deeply —
The devil wants to wound and tear
the heart —
Look at Adam and Eve —
And Cain killed his brother and
David took the husband of
Bathsheba.
David was not perfect —
David was lustful —
Despite all his gifts he gave
into this sin and
It shows how he suffered and
suffered for his sin —
When we sin we offend the
law of love —
When we deceive to hurt others we
act like satan who is the father
of lies —
How can we do this — when
Jesus is the truth —
To be like Jesus we tell the
truth and keep trying
to live in the truth because
we are to live in the truth —
What happens when there
is an accident, can we forgive —
can we work out of it —
The devil says don't forgive —
The devil says don't say you are
sorry — NEVER —
The devil says:
Do something on purpose to hurt
others — to get power over them —
It's power seeking when one offends
another in secret to watch them
suffer — then tries to deceive and
act like they didn't do anything —
God wants contrite loving hearts
God wants us to say we are sorry
when we hurt others
God created us to love —
It is disorder to hurt someone
and act like we didn't do
it — It's against the order
God wants —
Against the order of God's love —
We all have hurt others, but
most of all offended God hurting
others — offended God taking all
He gives for building of His
Kingdom and acting like we had
His purpose first when we
were selfish and unloving and
manipulative —
How about a life time of bad
habits — wanting never to change —
Lent is a time to take stock
of how we have said to God
we won't serve, but instead
served ourselves — we thought
and were jealous, seeking
power, selfish — ungrateful —
really authentically grateful
as we should be —
The devil wants us to say
"Who will ever question me in
my evil"
The person who les evil doesn't
want anyone questioning them —
the devil wants it kept in
the dark so he can keep doing
it —
Like Jesus' statue head last week
was knocked off between
12:30 and 7:30AM March 3, 2011
in the dark
R. When we offend God we're
sorry if we love Him —
When we sin and hide it and
lie and watch others not
knowing what is going on
while we set a trap for them
it is wrong — it is evil —
Cain's sin was premeditated —
It shows us — sin we plan and
plot in our beds is worse —
Holding out to provoke others to
get control to be on top
with the gifts God gave to us
is wrong —
God gave us generously —
How about how do we thank God
and recognize our lifetime of
being unloving and expecting
Him to forgive us —
We get more and more locked in
our vices and we become
more and more blinded —
God gives us all the plants and
animals — all the gifts
we have —
Light and
we take the gifts God gives
for granted —
God has order, rhythm in the
world —
rhythm in our body —
we are to be loving —
God created us to love
We go against ourselves
when we act against
His commandments
Matthew 22: 36-40
'Master, which is the greatest commandment of the Law?' Jesus said to him, 'You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment. The second resembles it: You must love your neighbour as yourself. On these two commandments hang the whole Law, and the Prophets too.'
The Ten Commandments
1. I, the Lord, am your God. You shall not have other gods besides me.
2. You shall not take the name of the Lord, your God, in vain.
3. Remember to keep holy the Sabbath day.
4. Honor your father and your mother.
5. You shall not kill.
6. You shall not commit adultery.
7. You shall not steal.
8. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
9. You shall not covet your neighbor's wife.
10. You shall not covet anything that belongs to your neighbor.
R. The devil wants us to take things
that don't belong to us and
act like they do —
The devil wants us to use our God-given
talents to act like we are great
because of them
If we are great at something it
is because of God's gifts
and we cooperated with
them —
If we are good it is because
of God's gifts —
It depends on our vision
R. WHAT IS YOUR POINT OF VIEW —
The devil wants somebody to never
say they are sorry —
to lie —
to deceive —
to take what doesn't belong to him —
to seek power for power sake
to be selfish —
7 deadly sins are
never saying you are sorry —
never working for conversion
God wants obedience to His plan
love
faith
hope
kindness
giving to others —
other focused
Ultimate challenge to love to
get to heaven —
to do the Father's will —
to live by God's order
The devil wants fighting, argumentation —
power seeking, isolation —
conflict —
God calls — we have a free will
to respond to God's call
according to God's will —
in love —
God has a purpose —
God has meaning to His plan —
God created a beautiful world
There was harmony in the
climate
There was harmony among the
animals —
All creation bears the handprint
of God —
God has a plan —
We are to see through God's eyes

23. FIRST PRINCIPLE AND FOUNDATION
Man is created to praise, reverence and serve God
our Lord, and by this means to save his soul.
R. We see disobedience to God all
through salvation history —
Loving God and others —
When we are unloving to others
we offend God —
We were commanded to love —
To have pure hearts more and more like
Jesus and Mary —
Christ is the Light of the World —
God speaks to us in space and
time —
God created the world the
seen and unseen of the world —
God created the world out of
nothing —
God created the world —
Man is the apex of creation —
Satan wants to tear the
heart —
to take that which is
most dear —
to get us not to love —
To trick us —
To attack where it really
hurts our heart — creates division
with those we love most —
so we suffer in the heart —
Our hearts of love are
most dear —
God intends us to be
united in love with
others —
So satan wants us to be divided
with those we need to work
with in love —
To obey and do God's work —
which is to obey God and
not rebel against God's
plan — which is for us to
be in His image and likeness
and to love
The devil wants people to
hurt each other — to make
others hurt — to never be
reconciled — to never say
you are sorry —
To hold out — while a person
tears his own heart apart
with those he loves
Love is being kind in our
heart —
Love is most dear —
Jesus came to this earth to teach
us about love —
Jesus was whipped by the men
He loved —
If somebody loves us a lot
the devil wants division
of those who love because
God is love and we are
most like God when we love —
The devil wants to break
up love and turn it to hate —
The devil is absence of
all love —
The devil wants to hurt and
to get us to be divided and
robbed of love and he appeals
to a person's pride — wanting
power, affection, wealth to
get people to hurt others —
then when we are divided with
those we love and angry we are
miserable because we are
in disorder to God's rule
of love —
We are to work as one as
God wants — to love and
forgive — to seek the big
picture of God's plan, but
the devil comes and presses
on us tempting with
seeking power for power sake,
seeking affections and honors
for ourselves or for wealth —
We have to give in many times
and pray and let God work
around us —
We don't want to be divided
with those we love — it hurts
bad — we don't do things to hurt
people and expect them to love
us back —
The devil wants to tear up families —
institutions — churches and then
when people are divided they don't
stay united to God as they should
and their heart hurts —
We want to live in love —
God calls us to work as a team —
then we fight the people
we need to work with —
so we oppose God's will —
doing the work He called
us to do to serve Him
Satan wants our hearts divided
so we won't work —
we won't love — our
energy goes —
We are opposing God's
will when we fight
just authority and want to
be in charge —
When we fight those we
are called to obey and
love —
we make our own heart
full of division and
can turn off our heart
with being right —
Turning off your
heart is what is
most precious
Live to love
work as one to
do God's will
