Prayer for Grace for our Country

Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

Dear God help me to love.

R. Let go of the defenses, the hardness of Heart and trust in Him.
How can there be peace when a man disobeys the first commandment by putting his plan, his will before God’s will?

How can there be harmony in his heart?
To the extent we put ourselves before God we have distanced ourselves from him, from His Sacred Heart - the Heart of God.

Do not be afraid.

Trust in God.

Open your heart to His will.

Christ showed us “Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place my trust in Thee.

Help me now in these struggles - Oh God let me see Thy face.

I see the bloodied face of the Lord as I pray the Litany of the Precious Blood-

How beautiful, Oh Lord are your works 'or all the earth.

Your blood is spread on all your peoples, we wear the marks of battle - a war of wills - a war with the evil serpent on this earth, who waged war against the children of Adam, the children of God.

The devil says “I will not serve.”

I am the boss - the devil says, but he is not the boss.

Sin entered the world when Adam and Eve sinned, and with this disorder and chaos and disruption.

Prayer for Holy Spirit

We pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit on us, to be baptized by the Holy Spirit, that He will descend mightily on us as He did on the Apostles at Pentecost. That the Holy Spirit will transform us from fear to fearlessness and that He will give us courage to do all the Father is asking of us to help bring about the Reign of the Sacred Heart and the triumph of Mary's Immaculate Heart. We pray for the Holy Spirit to descend mightily on the Jesuits and the Poor Clares on the Shepherds of Christ leaders and members and on the whole Body of Christ and the world.

Romans 8: 5-9

Those who are living by their natural inclinations have their minds on the things human nature desires; those who live in the Spirit have their minds on spiritual things. And human nature has nothing to look forward to but death, while the Spirit looks forward to life and peace, because the outlook of disordered human nature is opposed to God, since it does not submit to God's Law, and indeed it cannot, and those who live by their natural inclinations can never be pleasing to God. You, however, live not by your natural inclinations, but by the Spirit, since the Spirit of God has made a home in you. Indeed, anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him.

R. Expressing from your heart.

Today is so cold, many in the world.
Letters of love.

We spread the love of the Two Hearts.

What is missing in today's world is love many times.

This Movement was given to spread the love of the two Perfect Hearts of love.

What the world needs now is love.
What the world needs now is unity.

In heaven there is complete oneness.

In heaven there is love.

Unity, love, intimacy.

Gentle love.
Empathy, caring from the heart how others feel, love unites,
selfishness sends others away ... selfishness divides.

Empathy trying to understand how others feel.

God created us. We are social creatures.
We are to develop the social activity in us.

Love of the Two Hearts.

Fr. Carter would hug us and we knew his love.

Now the world is very divided and disconnected.

A class room with 30 children can have 30 different opinions.

But we were spreading the consecration of the Two Hearts to children so they would be united in the Two Hearts.

  

   

R. Imagine
if we could spread the consecration of the
Two Hearts all over the world as Jesus asked Father Carter.

Unity in the Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of our Mother.

How do you describe the world today?

Is the world united to God and obedient to the will of the heavenly Father?

Where does the main disunity stem from?

The Creator is the source of unity.

Therefore if people make themselves above God how can they be united to God?

The first commandment says:  
    1. I, the Lord, am your God. You shall not have other gods besides me.

God created us and gives us His commandments - His love to follow.

When Adam and Eve disobeyed
God -- disorder entered the world.

How can we expect anything different with the willfulness and division in the world today with God, Our Creator.

This is the message Jesus gave Fr. Carter.

Words of Jesus to Members of Shepherds of Christ Associates:

"My beloved priest-companion, I intend to use the priestly newsletter, Shepherds of Christ, and the movement, Shepherds of Christ Associates, in a powerful way for the renewal of My Church and the world.

"I will use the newsletter and the chapters of Shepherds of Christ Associates as a powerful instrument for spreading devotion to My Heart and My Mother's Heart.

"I am calling many to become members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. To all of them I will give great blessings. I will use them as instruments to help bring about the triumph of the Immaculate Heart and the reign of My Sacred Heart. I will give great graces to the members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. I will call them to be deeply united to My Heart and to Mary's Heart as I lead them ever closer to My Father in the Holy Spirit."

R. We have been able to circulate the prayers of the Shepherds of Christ to Hierarchy through out the world.

Mary said at Fatima unless we consecrate our hearts to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary we won't have peace in the world.

Fr. Carter thought that meant 50%.

 

 

Act of consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
and the Immaculate Heart of Mary

Lord Jesus, Chief Shepherd of the flock, I consecrate myself to Your most Sacred Heart. From Your pierced Heart the Church was born, the Church You have called me, as a member of Shepherds of Christ Associates, to serve in a most special way. You reveal Your Heart as a symbol of Your love in all its aspects, including Your most special love for me, whom You have chosen as Your companion in this most important work. Help me to always love You in return. Help me to give myself entirely to You. Help me always to pour out my life in love of God and neighbor! Heart of Jesus, I place my trust in You!

Dear Blessed Virgin Mary, I consecrate myself to your maternal and Immaculate Heart, this Heart which is symbol of your life of love. You are the Mother of my Savior. You are also my Mother. You love me with a most special love as a member of Shepherds of Christ Associates, a movement created by your Son as a powerful instrument for the renewal of the Church and the world. In a return of love, I give myself entirely to your motherly love and protection. You followed Jesus perfectly. You are His first and perfect disciple. Teach me to imitate you in the putting on of Christ. Be my motherly intercessor so that, through your Immaculate Heart, I may be guided to an ever closer union with the pierced Heart of Jesus, Chief Shepherd of the flock.

The Crucifixion and Death of Jesus (excerpt)

6.  R. Mary has called you here to be a special apostle, to spread the love of Jesus' Most Sacred Heart to this world. Mary asks you to see through Her eyes His life, from when He was conceived in her womb until He ascended into Heaven and to know through her heart the tender love of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

7.  R. The love in Jesus' Heart that He gave His very flesh, His very blood and His very life for each and every one of us.

8.  R. Jesus calls out today that He gives us His life. He gives it to us in the Eucharist and He wants us to come with a heart of love and purity, a heart that is ready to give Him love and to receive His Divine Love.

9.  Jesus:  Let go of all things that bind you from union to My Most Sacred Heart. Let go of your anger. Let go of your resentments. A heart of anger cannot unite with love. You must dismiss all of your anger and come with a pure heart. For what I have to give you is a Heart filled with My Divine Love.

This rosary was prayed at the beginning of the Shepherds of Christ meeting. Father Carter led the rosary. Jesus appeared.

 

 

 

Mary's Message
from the Rosary of August 27, 1996

Mary:  I stood beneath the cross of my Son, and my Heart was in such pain for I saw Him before my eyes. I saw Him covered with blood. I saw Him die. My Heart, my children, my Heart to watch my Son, but my Heart, my Heart, how I suffered for my little children of the world that give in to this world and give up the love of my Son. O my little children of light, I give you this message. Carry this light into the darkness for your Mother Mary, for I stood beneath the cross and I cried. I cried for the little ones. I cried for the young ones, the ones that do not care and will lose their souls. How do I make you see for you will not listen to me? What can I do? I come. I appear. I beg. I plead. I give you these gifts from my Son, and you reject me. I do not deliver messages very often anymore for I have been ignored. The message is the same. You do not read the messages I have given to you. Please help me. Help the little children. I appear. I appear. I appear, and I am ignored. I stood beneath the cross, and I cried. I cried, and my Heart was in such anguish for my little children, for I am searching for them this day as I searched for the Child Jesus. Please, please help me. The Carrying of the Cross

5.  R. Carry your crosses that Jesus gives to you. Carry them and know that Jesus forever is with you; that Mary forever walks by your side in all the sufferings and all the trials that you have; that Mary never leaves you for one minute, as she never left Jesus. Mary walked with Him on Calvary. Mary was forever there. And what seems like a Calvary for us, Mary is there with us, our most loving Mother. Mary mothers us as she mothered Jesus.

• Dom Hubert Van Zeller observes: ...

"To the Jews the cross was a stumbling block, and to the gentiles foolishness. What is it to us? Often it can be an emblem merely, the significance of the symbol forgotten. The cross is something in which we are, by reason of our Christian inheritance, inextricably involved. Do we yield to it or harden ourselves against it? The cross is not just two planks fitted together on a certain day in the history of the world, and of all the relics which we venerate the most sacred, but a fact of our human experience which may or may not be sacred according to what we do about it." ³

• Contrary to what many think, Fr. Edward Leen reminds us that suffering is compatible with happiness: "If men are prone to err in conceiving the nature of happiness, they will necessarily err in judging of its opposite. They commonly think that a man cannot possibly be happy if he is a prey to constant sickness; if he is condemned to experience habitual poverty and to be buried in obscurity; if he fails to take an important part on the world stage; if he is unsuccessful in his enterprises; if he is deprived of the opportunities of intellectual or aesthetic development; and finally, if he fails to gain the applause and the esteem of his fellows. Now though all these things mean grievous sufferings for men, neither singly nor in combination have they the power to rob him of essential happiness.

"Apart from the consideration of the life of the Redeemer, certain undeniable facts of history justify this contention. The saints, in all ages, have been persons whose lot it was, generally speaking, to undergo greater trials and sufferings than others are called upon to endure. Yet they were habitually happy, buoyant and joyous human beings…

"The saints were not violently wresting words from their literal meaning when they proclaimed themselves happy. For the happiness they enjoyed was that which is proper to, and satisfying for man…

"God planned an unbroken life of happiness for man. The Fall modified, but did not prevent the realization of this plan. Suffering, but not unhappiness, becomes the condition of the earthly portion of men’s existence. God does not make unhappiness here to be the price to pay for happiness hereafter. To be happy, in the minds of all men, is to fare well, that is, to live excellently... The Saviour Himself suffered intensely, but He lived the highest life possible for men. He was, therefore, happy. He assured men that He could share His own blissful experience with them. It may appear paradoxical to associate happiness with the mental image of One Who is called the Man of Sorrows. But an analysis of the nature of happiness will show that it was fully realized in the earthly life of the Saviour…" ⁴

One of my favorite psalm verses is: “Your word is a lamp for my steps and a light for my path.” (Ps 119, 105) If you have to go somewhere in the dark, it’s nice to have a flashlight to help you see where you’re going. ... When we try to make it through life without God’s word, we’re walking in the dark.
