Being in one mind and one heart
in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary mean we
are on the same program —
We see through the eyes of the
Father — He has a Plan — He is
the Creator — We are the creatures —
We seek to live by the will of God —
it is us —
Jesus is God — Jesus did the will of God
Mary did the will of God —
If we are in one mind and one heart
in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary — we will
be in harmony — not willful,
but holy —
Adam and Eve did their own will —
We give our hearts to Jesus and Mary so we
are living in harmony in the
will of God —
We are on the same page —
We are not in competition
Now look at those who were
in authority over you — mom or
dad — a spouse — a boss —
a person who abused to be
dominant —
See them and separate them
from those in authority over
you now — Don't bring bags of
unfinished business with authority
to one today who is in authority
over us in a spiritual situation —
A person serving God and over us
doing God's will is in harmony
with us — if we are doing
God's will — Religious communities
could have folded because people
see superiors as threats to
them from past authority figures —
NO BAGGAGE — Beg God to help
us see simply like it said in
yesterday's message —
To do a simple job we can
have a bag of baggage to
go through from unfinished business
of the past —
Brothers and sisters in communities
should see themselves disconnected
from old relationships with
others — that were painful, provoking
and could have caused much pain —
A person must see what they are
doing now and not heap old unfinished
painful relationships — mingled
with the selfish, spinster, pity-pot
of unmet needs — with the tendencies
of the wounded human nature —
jealousy, anger, envy, seeking
dominance for dominance sake
Be free —
Look at your reactions in
relationships — are you acting
out old relationships on innocent
others — projecting your hurt feeling —
seeking dominance — jealousies —
etc. on somebody who just
asked you to type a few pages,
give you office supplies, the
mail etc.
I see Jonah caught in the
belly of the whale —
How caught is your job
in your old baggage so you
can't ever just do a job for
your trap you have at given
a direction —
Some 'kids' when they leave home
say mom and dad will never tell me
what to do again — I will do what
I want and nobody tells me what to
do —
Is this even possible if we
live by the command to love God
and love one another — This thinking
is definitely opposed to God's
will —
An adult that tries to force this behavior
on another will eventually have
a bad end themselves and a lot of
misery along the way —
Now separating old wounded
relationships - with unfinished
emotions can be a trap for
simply living in the moment and
simply doing work asked of us —
But what about our relationship
with authority — mom or dad —
Do we put too much emphasis
on imperfections dad had (a man with
a wounded human nature like all
of us).
Dad was not God, but if
we think of his imperfections
when we think of God the Father —
We may keep the Almighty God —
Our heavenly Father — at arms
length because we think
of imperfections of our earthly
dad and instantly do not trust and
love our heavenly, all perfect
Father, who created us, as
we should — We could keep
God the Father at arms length to
try to be safe —
Same way with working with
a community in one mind and
one heart in the Heart of Jesus —
Some one is in charge — they love
those with a holy love under
them they serve — there is
a common interest — everyone
doing God's will can bring great
effectiveness —
The devil says — "oh she is
getting too much recognition,
be jealous" So rather than see
If I am doing God's will doing
my job — then you are blessed —
If you are doing God's will
doing your job I am blessed —
together and with others we
can accomplish so much —
being in one mind and one heart —
We are not enemies —
Old unfinished, emotional, painful
relationships should be
healed and let go of like a hot
air balloon — so we can do
the work, purely, simply God
calls us to without baggage.

We have a wounded human nature —
Satan tempted Jesus after He
fasted for 40 days — he

authority over us
to be under them
— willingly
We want to do God the Father's will —
the Our Father prayer ends

Also a final note
When one who is dysfunctional
has forced their behavior on
other innocent others —
and the person leaves — those remaining must
admit what happened —
how they developed survival
skills for that person — and
then pray to change
survival behaviors —
Life is for living
A dysfunctional person can force
their behavior on a community
— those remaining must recognize they have
developed some bad survival behavior
patterns that
need to change
God wants us united
God wants us at peace
God wants us one in Him
united to others
Matthew 22:36-40
'Master, which is the greatest commandment of the Law?' Jesus said to him, 'You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment. The second resembles it: You must love your neighbour as yourself. On these two commandments hang the whole Law, and the Prophets too.'
Pride keeps us stuck
A child always tried the parent
turning themselves upside down
between two chairs and hollering
"STUCK" "STUCK"
waiting for the parent to rescue
them —
It was an exciting game for
the little child almost two —
It involved going back and forth —
drama —
excitement,
but the child had to get rescued
or they could get really
hurt —
Why would an adult test God
to manipulate someone God
wants them to work with —
Why turn everything up-side-down
do it simple —
Jesus say: Do MY Work
We are not enemies —
The devil uses division
We must change our hearts to
work in harmony like
a well wound clock
Also a person whose dysfunction
lowered the standard, must be
talked about to correct bad
patterns of dysfunctional
survival skills learned in
dealing with the addicted —
We go to the level God wants
God wants Harmony

Consecration to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary
(2)We have already spoken of how we are incorporated into Christ at Baptism. Now we shall speak of the life which comes to us in Baptism in terms of consecration:
"To consecrate means to make sacred, to make holy. Only God can make a being holy. So to speak of our consecration is to speak of God's activity in making us holy, His activity of giving us a share in His own holiness. At Baptism we receive a share in God's life, a share in His holiness. Christ is the Mediator of this grace life. We are baptized into Christ, into His death and resurrection. In Baptism we become holy by sharing in the holiness of Christ. We become consecrated, sealed with the divine holiness. We belong to the Father, through Christ, in the Holy Spirit.
"On our part, we must respond to God's consecration of us. We must live out the consecration of Baptism. We must realize what God has done for us in Christ and live according to this awareness. We need to live the life of holiness and grow in it. In other words, we must develop the life of grace, the Christ-life.
"What God has done for us in Christ involves Mary. God has given us a Christ-life, our life of grace, and Mary is the Mother of this Christ-life. Consequently, living out our life of consecration to God—living out the Christ-life—includes allowing Mary to increasingly be the Mother of our Christ-life.
"Consecration to Mary, therefore, is an aspect of our consecration to Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. It is entrusting ourselves entirely to her maternal love so that she can bring us ever closer to Jesus, so that we can increasingly live out our consecration to God in Christ.
"At Fatima, Our Lady asked that we consecrate ourselves to her Immaculate Heart. Mary shows us her heart as a symbol of her love for God and us. She asks us to make a return of love to her, to consecrate ourselves to her, to give ourselves to her completely. She wants us to entrust ourselves to her completely so that she may help us love God and neighbor.
"As stated above, consecration to Mary is an aspect of our consecration to God in Christ and she has asked for consecration to her Heart so that she may assist us. Christ, in turn, invites us to live out this consecration to Him through consecration to His Sacred Heart. We see the divine symmetry: consecration to the Immaculate Heart helps us to live out consecration to Christ Who reveals His Heart as symbol of His life of love in all its aspects, including His tremendous love for each of us individually. His Heart also asks for our love in return, a return which ideally is summed up in consecration to Jesus' Heart. Through this consecration we give ourselves completely to Jesus through the Immaculate Heart. In this consecration to Jesus, we promise to strive to live according to His Father's will in all things."

My 'fear' from past relationships can be
acted out today — I have to pray to
see my old baggage and let go of it —
Little fears I had as a child —
What did our dad and mom teach
us about things —
Were they angry —
Did they look a certain way —
act a certain way —
I keep acting out on others in my present life —
Did dad look angry — unapproving — did
others reject me — so I think you are
doing this when you aren't and start
reacting to old 'fears' — I project on you —
Am I tense because I am on guard because
of myself and past hurts — I project
on you —
Is my heart open to how God is acting
in my life today?
Do I mix anger — imperfection of my
earthly dad or mom on my heavenly Father —
who created me and loves me perfectly and
purely —
God the Father created me —
God the Father wants me to be all I can be —
How have I accepted my vocation?
Am I glad I am serving God's will the way
I believe He called me?
Jesus says: I loved you to My death —
Listen to these questions.
Answer them so you will be more pure —
Purity means you clean up —
Clean up your hurt, rejected feelings
you carry as baggage and
you act out today —

your imperfections, dysfunctions —

so that everyone who believes

The whole group of believers was united, heart and soul; no one claimed private ownership of any possessions, as everything they owned was held in common. The apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus with great power, and they were all accorded great respect. None of their members was ever in want, as all those who owned land or houses would sell them, and bring the money from the sale of them, to present it to the apostles; it was then distributed to any who might be in need.
There was a Levite of Cypriot origin called Joseph whom the apostles surnamed Barnabas (which means 'son of encouragement'). He owned a piece of land and he sold it and brought the money and presented it to the apostles.
John 3: 7-15
Do not be surprised when I say:
You must be born from above.
The wind blows where it pleases;
you can hear its sound,
but you cannot tell where it comes from
or where it is going.
So it is with everyone
who is born of the Spirit.‘How is that possible?’ asked Nicodemus. Jesus replied, ‘You are the Teacher of Israel, and you do not know these things!
‘In all truth I tell you,
we speak only about what we know
and witness only to what we have seen
and yet you people reject our evidence.
If you do not believe me

as Moses lifted up the snake in the desert,

God has given us His creation —
Do we see the handprint of God in

We have a relationship with a Person —
We make amends when we offend Him —

holding back His needed materials
for His work to punish

We don't turn in on ourselves and
be selfish about it —
We are one in Him and we love the
souls He died for — we pray
for the souls of the Church and
the world
We carry the life of resurrection out
to the world —
We die to ourselves —
We bear witness to the resurrected Lord —
We die to ourselves to live a greater
life of resurrection in our lives —
We are servants of God —
We are in one mind and one heart as members
of the mystical body of Christ —
Numbers 21: 4-9
They left Mount Hor by the road to the Sea of Suph, to skirt round Edom. On the way the people lost patience. They spoke against God and against Moses, ‘Why did you bring us out of Egypt to die in the desert? For there is neither food nor water here; we are sick of this meagre diet.’ At this, God sent fiery serpents among the people; their bite brought death to many in Israel. The people came and said to Moses, ‘We have sinned by speaking against Yahweh and against you. Intercede for us with Yahweh to save us from these serpents.’ Moses interceded for the people, and Yahweh replied, ‘Make a fiery serpent and raise it as a standard. Anyone who is bitten and looks at it will survive.’ Moses then made a serpent out of bronze and raised it as a standard, and anyone who was bitten by a serpent and looked at the bronze serpent survived.
We help others — we have been given great gifts
in Shepherds of Christ — then you speak
against us —
Everyone should say they are sorry for
grumbling — complaining —
when God has blessed us —
God has blessed us so much —
So it says in Numbers He punished
them —
When God gives us things and we
complain — why do we punish the
hand that feeds us —
We are called to repent of our sins — tell
God we are sorry for our sins —
These 8 days of retreat are to do this —
To help repair our relationships with
God because we have offended Him —
So how is your spirit when I try to pray
to tell God we are sorry for our
sins and the sins of the
human race —
This 13th is to help make reparation
for the sins of the human race —
We are on the same side —
Being in one mind and one heart praying
for this reparation, adoration,
love we owe our God —
and this is what Jesus and Mary asked
me to do 13 years ago —
How is your heart —
Satan wants division —
If I truly give my heart to Jesus and Mary
If you truly give your heart to Jesus and Mary
We are in one mind and one heart —
Not jealous, not blocking the prayer
We are 'one' — worshipping, loving, serving —
making reparation — so we can bridge
this relationship more and more in
love with our God who is offended
by our sins of the human race
Sing: Come Unto Me all Who are Weary
Oh Holy Spirit help us heal from old
wounds and help us not to be prideful in
thinking we are without sin — help
us rather see how we need your light
to see our imperfections — to see how we
have offended God and others by our
unloving ways and to come humbly
to You and ask for courage and grace
to change so we can be more perfected
as our heavenly Father is perfect —
Oh Holy Spirit give us lights to see
the truth and the courage to live by it —
God has us here to learn about love —
are we growing from old relationships
that even hurt us — to be wounded —
healers or are we stuck like a sinking
ship at the bottom of the sea — sitting on
a pity - pot —
Look at what Pope John Paul II suffered —
first Poland and his family and friends ravaged
by Hitler — His Jewish friends
exterminated — Then
Poland had to deal with Russia —
He saw blood and his country suffer —
families tore apart — he worked in hard
labor — Look at how he helped the
whole world — His mom died when he
was young — His brother died — He
had a hard life — He helped the whole world —
Has your wounded relationships
made you victors for Christ —
or are you at the bottom of the sea
with a rock holding you down —
Are you a ship sailing on smooth waters —
sails high — helping the world like Pope John II
or are you bitter, feeling sorry for yourself
— punishing others
Now at 50, 60 not owning your anger and
not giving as Christ calls us to — in
love — forgiving — loving — clearing out
our old barn and attic and cellar of the
wounded past —
Squirting down — did you ever see a bath
house at a swimming pool — its
all concrete and it can be hosed down
with a powerful hose —
God can come with His life giving water —
His powerful grace and hose us down —
empty the debris and fill us with
sparkling grace — light —
joy — peace —
I went to school and I taught math — even
after I prepared my college lectures —
I couldn't believe in the beginning
the next year or next semester — I still
had to prepare —
I always prepared — to be in front of a
class for 3 hours before 40 or 50 people —
in math — I had to sleep and prepare —
sleep so I was sharp in my mind —not tired
prepare — because I couldn't get hung
up before the class in the lecture —
I trained myself — 17 years UC
8 years XU
I was prepared —
I prayed for my students
I learned my work
When we grow up in dysfunctional homes
we learn rules — taught to us through
experience —
I taught piano too — it was teaching hands-on —
it stuck with you —
Math was working problems — hands-on —
it stuck with you
Children learn hands-on
Lessons learned stick with you —
My dad made us turn all the lights out —
he made sure we turned the lights out
in rooms we were not using —
My husband wanted the lights on — a bright
house —
I had to unlearn one — hands-on rule, to
learn another hands-on rule —
I never had much problems with authority
in the class room in college in
all the years I taught, but toward the
end — I had a rather 'testy guy' who was
beginning freshman sports and had been a
star in high school — he challenged me —
we had tables and chairs in this room —
While I was teaching about hyperbolas
he would go under his table top and use
his cell phone and later deny he had a
cell phone
I was there to teach math — I didn't
want to take up my time with others in
the class — deprived of their learning
for his antics —
This is what we do when we try to stop
God who is teaching us and we try
to distract the retreat, daily message —
we stop all the others God is trying
to reach with His lesson — If
he was like this, the young man in
the class — he could have just left —
But he was playing a constant challenging
game —
He wanted the game
He wanted the challenge
He wanted to rise over me as the teacher
The devil in the Gospel the first Sunday of
Lent wanted Jesus to prostrate to him —
The devil tempts people to do evil —
to rise above those they are to obey —
God works in structure —
The devil wants someone underneath
to challenge the parent — the superior —
the bishop
The devil wants us to seek dominance
for dominance sake —
to disobey — like Eve —
She wanted to be equal to God
