Revelation 5: 9-10
They sang a new hymn:
You are worthy to take the scroll
and to break its seals,
because you were sacrificed,
and with your blood
you bought people for God
of every race, language, people and nation
and made them
a line of kings and priests for God,
to rule the world.
Acts 13: 26-33
‘My brothers, sons
of Abraham’s race,
and all you
godfearers, this
message of salvation
is meant for you.
What the people of
Jerusalem and their
rulers did, though
they did not realise
it, was in fact to
fulfil the
prophecies read on
every Sabbath.
Though they found
nothing to justify
his execution, they
condemned him and
asked Pilate to have
him put to death.
When they had
carried out
everything that
scripture foretells
about him they took
him down from the
tree and buried him
in a tomb. But God
raised him from the
dead, and for many
days he appeared to
those who had
accompanied him from
Galilee to
Jerusalem: and it is
these same
companions of his
who are now his
witnesses before our
people.
We have come here to
tell you the good
news that the
promise made to our
ancestors has come
about. God has
fulfilled it to
their children by
raising Jesus from
the dead. As
scripture says in
the psalms: You
are my son: today I
have fathered you.
The Farewell of Christ at the Last Supper
John 14: 1-6
Do not let your hearts be troubled.
You trust in God, trust also in me.
In my Father’s house
there are many places to live in;
otherwise I would have told you.
I am going now to prepare a place for you,
and after I have gone
and prepared you a place,
I shall return to take you to myself,
so that you may be with me
where I am.
You know the way
to the place where I am going.
Thomas said, ‘Lord, we do not know where you are going, so how can
we know the way?’ Jesus said:
I am the Way; I am Truth and Life.
No one can come to the Father
except through me.

Praise God –
Praise Him in all we do.
I was a teacher and so many times my dreams
are about being on time for my college classes.
Some of my dreams are being on time when I
went to college and then I missed some of the
required classes, which I never did, but there
is pressure to travel – meet the requirements,
be prepared, get there on time.
It could be I had to be on time for
the class and be prepared to do what
was required whether teaching or attending
and needing the credit.
There are expectations of teachers and
of students and I never missed classes
when I was either, but commitment was
necessary and the requirements had to be
met. The travel – how I would make this
happen.
I travel in my dreams also, trying to
find the right way to somewhere and
from the right way to some where and
from somewhere to get home. Travel,
it is usually by car, sometimes I am
down town trying to find my way to the
car to go home and there are many
dark streets and I am usually alone after
leaving others and it can be getting
dark or will get dark soon.
Looking at the coming and going of
my dreams I can see the life we live
on our journey to God similar – We
come and we go trying to find our
way through life in the daylight –
in the shades of evening –
In my dreams I am feeling the need
find my car and get home and I am
alone at this point, darkness could come
soon and there are many paths that I
can take to make this happen and only
one is the right one to the car.
In my dreams as I account them,
I have missed
all the classes where I went to
College
at Mt. St. Joe and I don't know how
I can even take the test and yet I need
to pass the class. Why did I do this,
not go to class, I ask myself in my dream?
With teaching – I never missed classes,
I took my job very seriously, but the
worry of getting there to teach the class,
and the walking, or driving to the
class is pressure to get there on time –
will I find it – will the class be
waiting – what happens if I miss the
class with the college –
Traveling – being there – responsibility –
maps, journey, responsibility – taking
tests. I taught 3 hour classes a lot of the time.
In my dreams, some times I am in the
back seat
of the car and there is no driver
and
I am trying to put on the brakes in
the front seat and steer to get
control of the car that is moving.
All of these ways of trying to get home –
trying to get to class, going to Church – not
getting up to the front for communion can
be seen in the journey of the struggles
in having as our goal – eternal life –
going down the right road, being
prepared – a longing for our real
home in heaven –
Christ knew the plan of the Father and
He followed the plan. I am grateful in
my dreams I am socially engaged with
others in eating, socializing, traveling,
protecting others – until I have to find
my car – then I am by myself on a
street looking - to find it and go home.
Yesterday I dreamed we were all
in a plane and were going somewhere
out west and a past leader was
the pilot and had the plane on
automatic and was out of the cock-pit
talking to another guy and would not
go back in to do his job and I
was not really afraid of crashing, but
of just flying anywhere – But he
would not stop frivolous talking and
do the job.
Wasting time on this journey to God – takes
us off course.
We are kind of in the darkness, that
we do not have the exact charted path
of our lives – there is a veil and all is
not revealed to us yet. My grandson
says "not yet". This is used instead
of "no". God is always giving us
little glimpses of what is to come
and then saying "Not yet."
God lets us wait on His plan – He has a
plan for us and we do walk with this
mystery and veil not seeing everything
in our lives. But to the man of faith –
we walk believing without seeing –
knowing the hand of God is with us
guiding us in our blindness and
helping us on our way –
We are to guard our actions to be
those co-operating in His plan –
seeking His plan, walking in His plan –
on our journey to Him and we have
our duty to do what He calls us to do –
We want to be led by God, serve God,
perform our actions according to God's
plan for us and then be led home to
our Lover waiting to embrace us in
His loving arms.
We have the Eucharist exposed in China.
It would be good to die with Him
and then death we see is a good
thing to be with our Lover in such
an embrace for eternity –
All our actions here should have
as the goal our eternal salvation –
Our actions, eating, sleeping, working,
having recreation done in service of God,
according to God's will – Done in love –
To be present for the moments of our
lives – to live in the moment.
I remember when my mom died
at 5 it was hard to process this and
I must have been day dreaming in
first grade when Sister Margarita
called on me and the class knew I
wasn't listening – Day dreaming.
After that embarrassment I knew I had
to listen unless they called on me again –
Listening is important when the teacher
talks and the priest talks and the person
in charge talks so we can interact
and respond.
Life is to be lived according to
God's plan – we must do what
God wants of us. I look at the
little child full of wonder and
wanting to learn – engaged in the
learning process of the present moment.
God is calling us to put aside the
day dreaming and distorted thinking and
report for living in the moment with
the goal of eternal salvation –
To not beat around the bush, to
not play senseless games of control,
to not waste the precious days
of our lives –
We are children of our heavenly
Father and we are under Him –
We should want to, when we die,
go right into the embrace of God
face-to-face –
We seek reality here – are we really
doing what we should living in
the order in our lives God wants
for us –
Or are we the children saying
"Not now" to God instead of "yes"
and living His plan –
We walk the journey and our actions
chosen by us lead us to our eternal
life in heaven – or we can disobey
God, be rebellious, controlling,
strut before Him and live a disordered,
existence – trying to control and
manipulate with distorted thinking
and pave the path of discord.
We are here to prepare, to be
ready – to seek the will of God – to
live to love Him and others as ourselves.
We were created in the image and likeness
of God – God is our Maker, our Master,
our beloved – wanting us, like little
children, to do what He asks of us.
God is love and we are to love –
God is all Good – we are to know,
love and serve God and we are
to be grateful for all He gives us
and living to please God in all we do.
We are called to give ourselves – not
hold back.

I can never live the moments
of this day again
When I go to bed
today is gone forever
I must choose to treasure
each moment because
it is the only moment I have and
it only lasts one moment.

God has given us our hearts to
love – God is Absolute Truth –
God is Light – God is all good –
God wants to give us knowledge
to understand insight into the Divine
Mysteries.
When we try to live in a closed-down
controlling mind – we cannot be open to
the wideness of His wonderful journey
for us.
We need to see through the eyes
of God – not the distorted vision
of a man closing in on himself.
Faith, hope and love are theological
virtues – to know God we must
go to God – We are dependent on
God –
A fool can keep on his journey thinking
all he needs is himself –
God give us Your vision to see reality
as it really is.
God elevates our knowing and loving
capacity in baptism – God opens
the supernatural world to us –
We need baptism to understand
more and more insights into the
Divine Mysteries – we need God!
God gives us wisdom, when we
seek it and ask Him for it – He
guides us in the light along the
right road on our journey –
that leads to eternal happiness
and dying to be with our beloved
Lover forever and ever and ever
in our true home in heaven –
This is eternal happiness God
wants for us and He calls us
to live here to spread the Good News
to other men.
Are we on this road where we
can go into His embrace because
we lived as little dependent children
of our heavenly Father, with a loving
and obedient heart in our actions
in our lives with God and other men.
We were created to seek the insight
into the Divine Mystery – to let go –
Let Go to God – Seek Knowledge of God –
Seek intimacy with God, love
God, others and ourselves – seek
the Sacred Heart of Jesus on fire for love
of men.
We are here to learn about
God. We haven't arrived –
We need not false gods, fear,
control, addictions, disorder,
control, control, control –
holding out, not co-operating,
not saving ourselves, but spending
our lives on God's plan –
Open your hearts man and live in God.
LIVE IN GOD
God be before us, around us, in
our hearts, our actions, our minds,
our thoughts, our being –
Divine Beauty –
God is infinite perfection –
We pray to see through the eyes of God –
We pray to see clearly reality as it
truly is in Him – not distorted
caved in reality of a SAD Man –
Homeless?
God wants to take us to heaven our
true home –
Alleluia
Jesus died so we could have NEW LIFE.
Spring is a time to remind us –
the dormant earth – turns into
beauty and light – new growth
and wonder –
TRUTH brings us joy!
JOY in our hearts –
Look at the Universe – do you
see the wonder of God –
Count the stars if you can –
See the vastness of the waters
in the ocean –
Look into the baby's eyes –
Look at the wonder of ourselves –
the life God gave to us –
We are here to know, love
and serve Him –
And hopefully one day –
Go to our true home in heaven!
