April 9th Holy Spirit Novena |
The Novena Rosary
Mysteries |
Please Pray for Bob & special intentions.
Consecration Prayer for Peace
I consecrate Russia and the Ukraine to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
I further consecrate the priests, the Church and the world to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary.
I do this in the name of Jesus in as far as I am able, united to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, praying to the Father, in the Holy Spirit, with all the angels and saints and the souls in purgatory through the powerful intercession of Mary, Queen of Peace. Amen.
I further consecrate myself, all members of my family and ask the Holy Spirit to fill us. I spread the Blood of Jesus on all above, I cast the devil into hell away from all of us and consecrate all persons, in as far as I am able, to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart.
Prayer for Grace for Election and our Country
Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.
Celebrating the Annunciation
Luke 1: 26-38
In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a town in Galilee called Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man named Joseph, of the House of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary. He went in and said to her, ‘Rejoice, you who enjoy God’s favour! The Lord is with you.’ She was deeply disturbed by these words and asked herself what this greeting could mean, but the angel said to her, ‘Mary, do not be afraid; you have won God’s favour. Look! You are to conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you must name him Jesus. He will be great and will be called Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his ancestor David; he will rule over the House of Jacob for ever and his reign will have no end.’ Mary said to the angel, ‘But how can this come about, since I have no knowledge of man?’ The angel answered, ‘The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will cover you with its shadow. And so the child will be holy and will be called Son of God. And I tell you this too: your cousin Elizabeth also, in her old age, has conceived a son, and she whom people called barren is now in her sixth month, for nothing is impossible to God.’ Mary said, ‘You see before you the Lord’s servant, let it happen to me as you have said.’ And the angel left her.

R.
Do you feel the presence of the
Father, Son
and Holy Spirit?
The Father, has a plan for us.
God wants
this relationship with us.
We are here to
grow in our intimacy
with God.
In this Lent we can spend time
alone with God and think of the
presence
of the Father, Son and
Holy Spirit in our heart.
Jesus:
Be alone with Me, close
your eyes, think of the presence of
God,
All three Persons, dwelling in
your heart.
Meditate, empty your
mind, think
only of the presence of God. Make
a
spiritual communion, now.
Take time, be alone with Me.
Everyday
during Lent, morning and
night, empty your mind, make a
spiritual
communion, think of God’s
presence with you, close your eyes,
be
alone with Me.
This will help you to grow in God’s
presence all day, the more you do
this,
all thru Lent.
I went into the desert to pray for
40
days and be with My Father,
practice this every day during Lent.
Being alone with God. Knowing
My presence!!!!

Jesus: God is the eternal God!!
God: Without a beginning, without an end.
God does not deceive, nor can He be deceived.
Jesus: The vision of My Father is a vast vision.
Some decide and plot and use their free will
for sin, jealousy, pride, envy, slothfulness,
anger, lust and gluttony.
The vision of the Father is He wants souls to
go to heaven.
The scripture in John 14 says the truth will be
in you.
Sin offends God.
The Father has a plan for your lives.
Holiness in the interior life is what makes a
man great. Living in holiness as a servant or
handmaid of God.
A man with a clogged heart needs it to be
unclogged.
A person with cancer in their body can try to
remove it.
Cancer can rapidly grow and make the body
fail.
What does bad habits do to the heart and soul?
They can act like a cancer or leprosy that grows.
Why for a few years here, when compared to
eternity, would a man hold onto sin?
The prodigal son returned and was forgiven
by his heavenly Father.
Some here today refuse the truth about their
sin and won’t budge.
I am the Son of God in whom The Father is
well pleased.
At Fatima Mary, your Mother, told you, you
must repent and seek conversion.
The life you have been given is a precious gift,
like the 10 lepers that were healed, only one
returned to thank God for the healing.
Leprosy of the soul, stubbornness in sin and
I shed the saving blood.
I am Jesus, the Son of God, light of the world.

Problem Solving and Order
R. I taught math a good part of my life.
I had a method - I prayed for them, I
knew God made the Math in the universe,
relationships, order, rules that were right
to follow: theorems, axioms, etc.
Things had to be worked in order, in truth,
etc.
I would identify what we were dealing with,
then ask how would you solve that problem.
Math models.
God has given us life, the goal is eternal
happiness forever in heaven.
God has a Plan.
God is absolute truth.
We turn to God.
We obey the commandments,
We are under Him.
He is the ruler.
We have God’s help,
We have the Word,
We have the Church.
We live God’s will in love.
We live virtuously, we are responsible
for our actions,
We make mistakes, sometimes, we have
to ask to be forgiven, turn to God and
others who are righteous, rooted in God
to help us.
We are never alone.
Jesus paid for our sins.
God loves us. We seek to grow in love,
God is the source of love.
The devil wants to be the ruler. He is a liar.
He wants us to give into our wounded
human nature and live by the deadly sins,
pride, greed, envy, wrath, lust, gluttony,
and sloth.
The devil wants, lies, disorder, darkness,
hatred etc, in our lives.
He wants to be the ruler wherever we are.
It’s a choice, we have a free will.
Follow the light, walk with God, operate
on the side of truth and love and light
Or follow Satan: a liar, darkness, hatred,
selfishness and sin.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
Life is in Him.
Jesus is our model, our example.
When I taught math, I would identify the
problem, work an example and give them
one just like it to work right away in class.
My notebook was divided into two columns -
I called it
Me. You.
Jesus showed us the way.
Jesus and Mary are our models.
We follow Jesus and Mary, the new Adam,
the New Eve.
The old Adam and Eve did their own will
and let Satan be their ruler, they disobeyed
God.
With this, sin entered the world and disorder,
disobedience, chaos, disease,
darkness, rebelliousness and Satan wants to
rule here.
We must follow Jesus, if we want order and
peace and happiness.
I take authority and cast Satan into hell away
from, my family, my work, my life in the
Name of Jesus Christ, I cast Satan into hell,
I spread the blood of Jesus over all involved
and consecrate the hearts to the Hearts of
Jesus and Mary in as far as I am able and
beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.I pray to the Father, in the name of Jesus,
united to the Mass, in the Holy Spirit with
all the angels and saints and the souls in
purgatory, through the powerful
intercession of Our Lady of Clearwater.
Amen.
God please help us, come to our aid.
Amen.
When we do God’s will, we are happiest,
united to God.
When we ignore God and disobey His will,
we have lots of problems.

Sorrowful Mysteries
The Agony in the Garden
1. Luke 22: 39-46The Mount of Olives
He then left to make his way as usual to the Mount of Olives, with the disciples following. When he reached the place he said to them, ‘Pray not to be put to the test.’
Then he withdrew from them, about a stone’s throw away, and knelt down and prayed. ‘Father,’ he said, ‘if you are willing, take this cup away from me. Nevertheless, let your will be done, not mine.’ Then an angel appeared to him, coming from heaven to give him strength. In his anguish he prayed even more earnestly, and his sweat fell to the ground like great drops of blood. When he rose from prayer he went to the disciples and found them sleeping for sheer grief. And he said to them, ‘Why are you asleep? Get up and pray not to be put to the test.’
2. Jesus knows our hearts, Jesus knows
our motives, I desire to put Him first.
3. Jesus sweat blood in the Garden for those
that hold onto anger and refuse to love, to
admit their sins, because they don’t ever
want to be wrong.
4. Jesus suffered in the Garden for the
fighting going on today in men’s hearts,
all over the world.
5. Jesus, we need Your help, to help us see,
even in sickness, when we have to serve
and still love, Jesus taught us about this.
6. Jesus forgave the Good Thief while He
was dying on the cross.
7. Jesus gave us His Mother as He was dying
on the cross, He loved mightily while He
was dying.
8. Jesus said "Not My will, but Thine be done."
9. Oh Jesus, You said “yes” to the bitter
passion, oh Jesus You endured falling
under the cross.
10. Oh Jesus, You did not count the cost,
You emptied Yourself for love of us,
and knowing it all You sweat blood in
the Garden.
The Scourging at Pillar
1. Luke 23: 15-19, 22...As you can see, the man has done nothing that deserves death, so I shall have him flogged and then let him go.' But as one man they howled, 'Away with him! Give us Barabbas!' (This man had been thrown into prison because of a riot in the city and murder.)
And for the third time he spoke to them, 'But what harm has this man done? I have found no case against him that deserves death, so I shall have him flogged and then let him go.'
2. They took every ounce of Jesus' energy,
beating Him until He was flat, flat on
the ground.
3. Then they poked at Him, with more
energy to force Him to get up.
4. I can’t imagine the torture Jesus went
through to pay for our sins.
5. They never let up, kept forcing Him,
forcing Him, forcing Him.
6. The devil is relentless.
7. The devil goes after the righteous man.
8. Poking at Christ, forcing Him to get up
with the cross on His back, His body,
shaking from being beaten,
His body raw with wounds.
9. The devil is relentless.
The devil never gives up to try to take
a soul to hell.
10. Mary appeared in Clearwater 7 and 1/2
years.
Mary appeared at the Holy Spirit Center
crying out to spread this message, souls
will be lost.
Tell them Rita, tell them, pray the rosary,
consecrate the hearts, tell them Jesus
loves them.
The Crowning with Thorns
1. Matthew 27: 27-31Then the governor’s soldiers took Jesus with them into the Praetorium and collected the whole cohort round him. And they stripped him and put a scarlet cloak round him, and having twisted some thorns into a crown they put this on his head and placed a reed in his right hand. To make fun of him they knelt to him saying, ‘Hail, king of the Jews!’ And they spat on him and took the reed and struck him on the head with it. And when they had finished making fun of him, they took off the cloak and dressed him in his own clothes and led him away to crucifixion.
2. Pray for the priests, the Church and
the world.
3. God has given us a Savior.
4. God has given us the Church, the priest.
5. It wasn’t a pretty cross, the sufferings
Jesus endured was beyond any sufferings
we could imagine to His perfect, pure body.
6. God outpours His grace to us in the Mass.
The Mass is the sacrifice of Calvary
sacramentally made present, we can unite
all day in our lives, God never gives us
too much.
7. Sufferings when accepted properly lead
to “new life”.
Jesus appeared to me on the cross,
December 5, 1996 at the point of death,
His mouth moved, up and down.
He said “no one was listening”,
I cried 3 days.
Mary appeared in Clearwater, Florida
December 17, 1996, 12 days later.
8. Jesus is alive, Jesus gives us Himself in
the Eucharist, souls need the messages
of His love, pray the rosary, Morning
Offering.
9. We need to meditate on Christ crucified,
dying for our sins, and the Resurrection
into “new life”. The gift of enduring
suffering properly,
like Fr. Carter said, it’s not that there is
too much suffering in the world, but so
much is wasted.
10. When we are weak, we are strong in Him.
God is with us in the darkest night.
He is the Resurrection and the life. Life is
in Him.
We must die to ourselves to follow in His
footprints.
In the Death is the Resurrection.
The most profound, holy and intimate feast,
the Holy Eucharist, given to us through the
hands of the priest.
The Mass is the sacrifice of Calvary,
sacramentally made present.
The Divine essence and we eat His body and
drink His Blood at Mass.
The greatest sacrifice, Jesus Christ, who
loves us beyond our understanding.Romans 6:3-5
You cannot have forgotten that all of us, when we were baptised into Christ Jesus, were baptised into his death. So by our baptism into his death we were buried with him, so that as Christ was raised from the dead by the Father’s glorious power, we too should begin living a new life. If we have been joined to him by dying a death like his, so we shall be by a resurrection like his;
The Carrying of the Cross
1. Mark 15: 15-23
So Pilate, anxious to placate the crowd, released Barabbas for them and, after having Jesus scourged, he handed him over to be crucified. The soldiers led him away to the inner part of the palace, that is, the Praetorium, and called the whole cohort together. They dressed him up in purple, twisted some thorns into a crown and put it on him. And they began saluting him, 'Hail, king of the Jews!' They struck his head with a reed and spat on him; and they went down on their knees to do him homage. And when they had finished making fun of him, they took off the purple and dressed him in his own clothes. They led him out to crucify him.
They enlisted a passer-by, Simon of Cyrene, father of Alexander and Rufus, who was coming in from the country, to carry his cross. They brought Jesus to the place called Golgotha, which means the place of the skull. They offered him wine mixed with myrrh, but he refused it.
2. Be there in the crowd - envision the
carrying of the cross. The ugly cheering
and Jesus carried our sins, the blood
stained road, the blood stained cross.
3. They made Simon of Cyrene help Jesus,
would we help the men today who need
our help carrying their cross?
4. Do we see our brothers walking with a
blood stained cross, but we can't lift a
finger, even in Lent?
5. Dear Heavenly Father, help us to see the
ones you call us to help, help us to love
those closest to us we can be the nastiest
to many times making them serve us,
instead and sometimes, very ungrateful,
6. Come to me Lord and possess my soul,
come into my heart and permeate my
soul. Help me to sit in silence with You
and let You work in my heart.
7. I am yours Lord, I want to have my life in
You. I want to do the will of the Father.
Give me the strength to put aside the
world and let you operate my very being.
8. Heavenly Father I am sorry for my sins.9. John 3:16
For this is how God loved the world:
he gave his only Son,
so that everyone who believes in him
may not perish
but may have eternal life.10. Sing: Why Do we Hurt the Ones We Love
R. Therefore it is evident that the whole of the
Christian's life must be oriented to the Mass
and be centered about it; for in Christ we see
His entire life centered around His priestly
act of Calvary.
The Mass is the sacrifice of Calvary,
sacramentally made present.
John 15: 13
No one can have greater love than to lay down his life for his friends.
The Crucifixion
1. Luke 23: 32-47Now they were also leading out two others, criminals, to be executed with him. When they reached the place called The Skull, there they crucified him and the two criminals, one on his right, the other on his left. Jesus said, 'Father, forgive them; they do not know what they are doing.' Then they cast lots to share out his clothing.
The people stayed there watching. As for the leaders, they jeered at him with the words, 'He saved others, let him save himself if he is the Christ of God, the Chosen One.' The soldiers mocked him too, coming up to him, offering him vinegar, and saying, 'If you are the king of the Jews, save yourself.' Above him there was an inscription: 'This is the King of the Jews'.
One of the criminals hanging there abused him: 'Are you not the Christ? Save yourself and us as well.' But the other spoke up and rebuked him. 'Have you no fear of God at all?' he said. 'You got the same sentence as he did, but in our case we deserved it: we are paying for what we did. But this man has done nothing wrong.' Then he said, 'Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.' He answered him, 'In truth I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.'
The veil of the Sanctuary was torn right down the middle. Jesus cried out in a loud voice saying, 'Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.' With these words he breathed his last. When the centurion saw what had taken place, he gave praise to God and said, 'Truly, this was an upright man.'
2. Jesus: I appeared on the cross on the
edge of death, no one is listening.
3. Jesus: I gave My life for you.
4. Jesus: I died for your sins, I bring you
mercy when you repent and ask for
forgiveness.
5. Jesus: I am the way, the truth and the
life.
6. Jesus: What came forth from My
pierced
side was blood and water.
7. Jesus:
Blood for the Eucharist.
Water for Baptism.
8. Excerpt from Response in Christ - Chapter 4 by Fr. Edward J. Carter, S.J.
In schematic outline we have discussed the manner in which the baptized Christian extends his Mass to his daily existence. As he so lives out his Mass, he is becoming more Christ-like. He becomes a more perfect priest and victim for his next participation in the eucharistic sacrifice.42 The beautiful cycle which the Mass contains lies exposed before us. As part of this cycle the Christian is intimately involved in the process of continued redemption. The Mass is the center of the Christian life: “. . . the liturgy is the summit toward which the activity of the Church is directed; at the same time it is the fount from which all her power flows.” 43
42. For a current treatment of
the varied richness of the Eucharist, cf. J. Wicks, "The Movement of
Eucharistic Theology" in Chicago Studies, Vol. 10
(1971), pp. 267-284.
43. The
Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy,
No. 10.
9. Jesus was crucified between 2 thieves, one
on each side.
10. There was a good thief who was dying
and
said he was sorry, Jesus promised to
take
him with Him.
The bad thief was bitter, rebellious to the
bitter end as he was dying.
We have a free will and a choice.
Don’t try to change on the death bed, don’t
be stubborn.
Love and praise God, He loves us so much.
Jesus died for sinners.
Oh God have mercy on me, a sinner,
forgive
my sins, I am sorry. Amen.
Pray the Divine Mercy with the dying.
Pray the Divine Mercy for the dying.
Satan wants to rule. Don’t give into him.
Amen!!!!

|
Guiding Light homily series — Reflect on the Word — Cycle B The Word leaves an impression on our souls. In my thoughts and reflections are born a more tangible understanding of these eternal concepts presented in the Gospels and the readings. Anyone can read a sentence, but not anyone can absorb it's true meaning. Truth, in this day and age, is almost a matter of opinion or individual entitlement. We believe that Christ's truth is our Roman Catholic Church. We, as priests, champion it's teachings; we are ambassadors for the Pope and Christ to those faces looking at us. We are the light by which our congregation reads to reflect upon real truth and we do it hand in hand. $10 |
Guiding Light homily series — Steadfast to the Son — Cycle A The sunflower is a great example of how we should be steadfastly guided by light. What a powerful thought that this exceptional plant is not stuck in one pose day in and day out, yet adaptable and magnetized to the sun. We feel the same about our Son. Our heads turns to face Christ as each day presents its challenges to find light. We join together like plants in a field and soak up the Son through the pulpit. We are a warm circle of strength using the wind of our breath to carry our priests' words, Christ's words, to new rich soil. $10 |
Guiding Light — Focusing on the Word — Cycle B At times we may feel that our path to Christ is a bit "out of focus". Like the disciples in the Book of Mark, this ordinary life clouds our vision of Christ's Divinity. We may doubt the practicality or possibility of applying His teachings and example to our modern life. Cycle B's homilies are a "guiding light" to help us realize Jesus' Messianic greatness and His promise of better things to come. $10 |
Guiding Light — Feed My Soul — Cycle C In a world rapidly advancing and encouraging personal gain, we are faced with modern problems. There is a challenge to find time in our busy schedules for Sunday Mass or a family meal. We are able to research, shop, bank and even work without hearing one human voice. It is no wonder that we may often feel disconnected and famished at our week's end. In Fr. Joe's third book of homilies from Cycle C, we are reminded of the charity that Christ intended us to show each other. We have a calling to turn the other cheek and be the Good Samaritan to others. We are rewarded with the Father's kingdom and love when we are not worthy. We are not left alone or hungry. $10 |
