Consecration Prayer for Peace

I consecrate Russia and the Ukraine to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

I further consecrate the priests, the Church and the world to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary.

I do this in the name of Jesus in as far as I am able, united to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, praying to the Father, in the Holy Spirit, with all the angels and saints and the souls in purgatory through the powerful intercession of Mary, Queen of Peace. Amen.

I further consecrate myself, all members of my family and ask the Holy Spirit to fill us. I spread the Blood of Jesus on all above, I cast the devil into hell away from all of us and consecrate all persons, in as far as I am able,  to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart.

Prayer for Grace for our Country

Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

 Today's Readings

Jeremiah 20: 10-13

I heard so many disparaging me,
'Terror on every side!
Denounce him! Let us denounce him!'
All those who were on good terms with me
watched for my downfall,
'Perhaps he will be seduced into error.
Then we shall get the better of him
and take our revenge!'
But Yahweh is at my side
    like a mighty hero;
my opponents will stumble, vanquished,
confounded by their failure;
everlasting, unforgettable disgrace
    will be theirs.
Yahweh Sabaoth,
    you who test the upright,
observer of motives and thoughts,
    I shall see your vengeance on them,
for I have revealed my cause to you.
Sing to Yahweh,
praise Yahweh,
for he has delivered the soul of one in need
from the clutches of evil doers.

Psalm 18: 2-7

Yahweh is my rock and my fortress,
my deliverer is my God.
I take refuge in him, my rock,
my shield, my saving strength,
my stronghold, my place of refuge.

I call to Yahweh who is worthy of praise,
and I am saved from my foes.

With Death’s breakers closing in on me,
Belial’s torrents ready to swallow me,
Sheol's snares every side of me,
Death's traps lying ahead of me,

I called to Yahweh in my anguish,
I cried for help to my God;
from his Temple he heard my voice,
my cry came to his ears.

Then the earth quaked and rocked,
the mountains' foundations shuddered,
they quaked at his blazing anger.

John 10: 31-42

    The Jews fetched stones to stone him, so Jesus said to them, ‘I have shown you many good works from my Father; for which of these are you stoning me?’ The Jews answered him, ‘We are stoning you, not for doing a good work, but for blasphemy; though you are only a man, you claim to be God.’ Jesus answered:

    Is it not written in your Law:
    I said, you are gods?
     So it uses the word ‘gods’
    of those people to whom
        the word of God was addressed
    —and scripture cannot be set aside.
    Yet to someone
        whom the Father has consecrated
    and sent into the world you say,
    ‘You are blaspheming’
    because I said, ‘I am Son of God.’
    If I am not doing my Father’s work,
    there is no need to believe me;
    but if I am doing it,
    then even if you refuse to believe in me,
    at least believe in the work I do;
    then you will know for certain
    that the Father is in me
        and I am in the Father.

    They again wanted to arrest him then, but he eluded their clutches.

He went back again to the far side of the Jordan to the district where John had been baptising at first and he stayed there. Many people who came to him said, ‘John gave no signs, but all he said about this man was true’; and many of them believed in him.

John 10: 11-15

I am the good shepherd:
the good shepherd lays down his life
   for his sheep.
The hired man,
   since he is not the shepherd
and the sheep do not belong to him,
abandons the sheep
as soon as he sees a wolf coming,
   and runs away,
and then the wolf attacks
   and scatters the sheep;
he runs away
   because he is only a hired man
and has no concern for the sheep.
I am the good shepherd;
I know my own
and my own know me,
just as the Father knows me
and I know the Father;
and I lay down my life for my sheep.

R. Jesus had enemies.

They wanted to stone Him.
The devil wants to discredit the authority that God puts before us.
Prophets are rejected.
Look at saints.
Padre Pio was persecuted.
Apostles, look at their deaths.

Focus is on man. Jesus said believe My works, even if you don’t believe Me.

From The Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius, by Louis J. Puhl, S.J. p. 12

                        23. FIRST PRINCIPLE AND FOUNDATION

                            Man is created to praise, reverence and serve God
                        our Lord, and by this means to save his soul.

R. We were created to live by this principle worshipping God.

The devil wants division, chaos, confusion, tearing things apart..,
The devil wants men to fight with the righteous, chosen ones.

God is love. In heaven there is unity under the Father's will.

You can’t grow if you deny your own sins, dysfunctions,…
They need healing,
Jesus shows us His passion and death.
We are given sufferings in our lives, we identify our sufferings with Jesus.

When God dwells in us, there is His power operating in us,
Strength is in God.

God is dwelling in the graced, baptized soul.

People are here on earth to grow in the image and likeness of God.
We are here to grow, to be healed, to live in holiness, to seek purification… to move forward in becoming more like Christ.
We are to love, to forgive, to seek mercy and to walk humbly as social beings, loving God and one another.

Fr. Carter says

            "No one comes to a proper
            understanding of himself,
            unless he reveals himself
            to another."

            "We grow through disclosure of
            the self to others, parents,
            spouse, others."

            "No one can help me grow in
            self-knowledge like
            God can."

We live the Pascal Mystery in our lives…Death/Resurrection.
Dying to the ways not like Jesus and rising in Him.

Jesus: I am the way, the truth and the life.
I came and showed you the way.
You are to obey the Father's will.
You are to live your unique vocation serving, honoring, worshiping God and helping to build the Kingdom of God.
I am the Light of the world, in Me there is no darkness.
I give you a sharing in My life in Baptism and I feed this life with Myself in the Eucharist.
The world belongs to Me.
You live out the Pascal Mystery of Death/Resurrection
I give you what you need in your life to grow and help promote My Kingdom.

I suffered so for you, you walk in My footprints doing the Father's will, so one day you can have eternal life in heaven forever.

You identify your sufferings with Mine as you live to be obedient to just authority and walk behind Me.

I am your model. Look how I endured persecution and suffering to My death on the cross, doing My Father's will.

Mary said “yes” she endured such suffering, her Immaculate Heart was invisibly pierced with a sword, My Heart was pierced with a lance and blood and water came forth.

I paid for your sins, so through My wounds you could be healed.

I am the suffering servant.

Mary is the perfect handmaid.

Sing: O Sacred Head Surrounded

Jesus: I suffered for your sins. Walk humbly, the devil tells sinners they are right. The devil tries to get men to blame innocent others for their wrongs.
The devil wants to make wrong to look right and right to look wrong.

You are in the state of becoming more Christ-like.
The world belongs to Me - the world and the Church are in the state of becoming more Christic.

You are to help build My Kingdom living your unique vocation and I want you with Me forever in heaven, someday, eternally. I love you, My precious one!

Jeremiah 1:4-8

The call of Jeremiah

The word of Yahweh came to me, saying:

 ‘Before I formed you in the womb
     I knew you;
  before you came to birth
     I consecrated you;
  I appointed you as prophet to the nations.’

  I then said, ‘Ah, ah, ah, Lord Yahweh;
you see, I do not know how to speak: I am only a child!’

  But Yahweh replied,
‘Do not say, "I am only a child,"
 for you must go to all to whom I send you
 and say whatever I command you.
 Do not be afraid of confronting them,
 for I am with you to rescue you,
 Yahweh declares.’

Excerpt from Response to God's Love - The Christian's Personal Uniqueness

       Jeremiah initially shrank back from the mission that God was giving him. He complained that he was not capable of accomplishing it. God answered him, however, and told Jeremiah that he was perfectly capable of fulfilling his appointed role, for he, Yahweh, would be with Jeremiah. God would work through Jeremiah, and Jeremiah, for his part, was to be open to God, allowing Yahweh to work through him according to the divine will.

       We, too, can be guilty of reacting to God's call in the same way that Jeremiah had originally reacted. This can happen as God calls one to a basic state of life. Once a person is within a fundamental vocation, one can be tempted to resist God's call to higher things, to a more complete accomplishment of his or her mission, and to a greater Christian maturity. When so tempted, a person must control his or her fears and trustingly give himself or herself to God's will. Only then will the person become convinced that God never requests anything without granting abundant grace to accomplish his design, and that, moreover, to answer God's call as consistently as possible is the only true path to peace, happiness, and fulfillment, despite the pain that is necessarily involved...

       God's ways are not always our ways, and his thoughts are not always our thoughts. God can take a life that seems so ordinary, so prosaic, so uneventful, and achieve wonders with it as long as the person is striving to fulfill his or her role in life according to God's designs. We cannot, then, use the ordinariness of our lives as an excuse for not making our existence truly great, truly significant for both Christ and humanity—a life that truly makes a difference...

       Second, there are other Christians who essentially respond to God, but not as completely as possible. Their lives seem to be an average mixture of both continuing faithfulness to God and occasional disloyalty to him; periodically they accomplish much good, but they also mix in a considerable degree of mediocrity. They do, however, seem to be basically sincere Christians who do, in fact, promote the work of Christ and essentially fulfill their roles in life.

       And finally, there are those Christians who initially answer God's call and continue to answer it in an eminently generous manner. They develop their uniqueness marvelously and become forceful shapers of the world's Christic destiny. Their good actions are deeply etched into the human process, although they may well be hidden from public acclaim. Because of them and their actions, the world's goodness is enhanced, and mankind has come considerably closer to fulfilling its temporal and eternal destinies.

Glorious Mysteries in Petition

The Resurrection

1. Luke 24: 1-12

On the first day of the week, at the first sign of dawn, they went to the tomb with the spices they had prepared. They found that the stone had been rolled away from the tomb, but on entering they could not find the body of the Lord Jesus. As they stood there puzzled about this, two men in brilliant clothes suddenly appeared at their side. Terrified, the women bowed their heads to the ground. But the two said to them, ‘Why look among the dead for someone who is alive? He is not here; he has risen. Remember what he told you when he was still in Galilee: that the Son of man was destined to be handed over into the power of sinful men and be crucified, and rise again on the third day.’ And they remembered his words.

And they returned from the tomb and told all this to the Eleven and to all the others. The women were Mary of Magdala, Joanna, and Mary the mother of James. And the other women with them also told the apostles, but this story of theirs seemed pure nonsense, and they did not believe them.

Peter, however, went off to the tomb, running. He bent down and looked in and saw the linen cloths but nothing else; he then went back home, amazed at what had happened.

2. We live Christ's Death/Resurrection in our lives.

3. John 10: 11-15

I am the good shepherd:
the good shepherd lays down his life
   for his sheep.
The hired man,
   since he is not the shepherd
and the sheep do not belong to him,
abandons the sheep
as soon as he sees a wolf coming,
   and runs away,
and then the wolf attacks
   and scatters the sheep;
he runs away
   because he is only a hired man
and has no concern for the sheep.
I am the good shepherd;
I know my own
and my own know me,
just as the Father knows me
and I know the Father;
and I lay down my life for my sheep.

4. The Good Shepherd laid down His life for us.
5. God calls us in our unique vocation to do His work.
6. God the Father created us and we are on earth to live as He calls us to and become more and more like Jesus, then to go to heaven forever, heaven is our true home.

7. Isaiah 53:7-9

Ill–treated and afflicted,
he never opened his mouth,
like a lamb led to the slaughter–house,
like a sheep dumb before its shearers
he never opened his mouth.

Forcibly, after sentence, he was taken.
Which of his contemporaries
    was concerned
at his having been cut off
    from the land of the living,
at his having been struck dead
    for his people's rebellion?
He was given a grave with the wicked,
and his tomb is with the rich,
although he had done no violence,
had spoken no deceit.

8. From Response to God's Love

       Although we might endure suffering with a proper Christian perspective, this is not to say that we find it easy to suffer. We need constant motivation for the proper assimilation of the suffering that daily faces us. This motivation, in turn, must be centered in the remembrance of the one who has suffered before us:

9. From Response to God's Love

       We have been discussing some of the specific ways in which we experience suffering. Let us now end this discussion in the same way that we began—by reminding ourselves of suffering's purpose in God's overall plan. Suffering, when it is properly encountered, leads us to a more mature Christian existence, that is, to an increased participation in Jesus' resurrection. If it is unchristian to flee the suffering that God intends for us (we are, of course, allowed to take proper means, as indicated by God's will, to dispel or alleviate suffering), it is also unchristian to view suffering out of perspective. We should view suffering, or dying with Christ, in relation to growth in the life that Jesus came to give us in abundance. As we properly encounter suffering, we are more and more cutting through the layers of the false self and increasingly coming in touch with the true, Christic self. If we live according to this true self, we become more capable of loving God and our fellow human beings. We become more vibrant personalities, more sensitive to the true, the good, the beautiful. We concentrate on the good that God's love has put in creation rather than on the evil therein that results from man's sinfulness.

10. Sing: Glory, Glory, Glory Lord

The Ascension

1. Acts 1: 6-9

Now having met together, they asked him, 'Lord, has the time come for you to restore the kingdom to Israel?' He replied, 'It is not for you to know times or dates that the Father has decided by his own authority, but you will receive the power of the Holy Spirit which will come on you, and then you will be my witnesses not only in Jerusalem but throughout Judaea and Samaria, and indeed to earth's remotest end.'

As he said this he was lifted up while they looked on, and a cloud took him from their sight.

2. Song: I Am the Bread of Life

3. R. But Jesus promised before He ascended into Heaven that He would send the Holy Spirit to them and He did.

4. R. Mary our Mother is so sweet and with us and she sends to you Her precious love. For she says that you are called her special apostles to go into this world. Jesus ascended into Heaven but He left behind His Mother and the apostles to carry out the work that He had begun. Mary appears in this room and she tells me to tell you that you are the apostles that she is sending into this world to spread the love of Their Two Hearts.

5. Rita said, “Mary is surrounded with light, blinding light all aglow. She is crowned with a crown that is so beautiful. And when I told you how you were her special apostles, the light; I could hardly see her through this light.”

6. Mary: My little children of the light, satan is pressing down on all my faithful ones. You must move steadfastly ahead and focus on the love of God. You must come and dwell in Our Hearts for it is in Our Hearts that you will receive the strength to proceed steadfastly ahead. I am Mary your Mother. You my dear ones, are guarded by my hands.

7. Mary: Come to me! Come to me my little children, and let me hold you tenderly and close to my breast. Many things are happening in your world today. Satan aims to stop the progress of spreading Our Love throughout this world.

R. Jesus wants to fill you more and more with His life in you.

Mary: Your life a constant life and death, as you struggle, you are raised to greater life in Him. Praise God for all of your struggles and your sufferings, for as you struggle you know that you are being drawn closer and closer to God. Where do you go when you are faced with difficulties? Go to the Heart of my Son, Jesus.

8. R. And He ascended into Heaven and left behind His Apostles to carry out the work that He had begun. Let us proceed forth and carry out this work in our lives for this is where our true joy lies in serving and loving the Lord.

9. Mary: Look into the faces, my beloved children that are serving the Lord. See the joy and the tenderness and look into the face of those who are focused on Jesus my dear children. You must pray and come closer to the Heart of my Son. Pray for all your beloved brothers and pray for the grace to serve God and to love Him with your whole heart, your whole soul and your whole being.

10. Song: Immaculate Mary

Mary: As you struggle each day you grow more and more in His life. Praise the Lord in all your struggles, and thank Him for He is attentive to your every need and guarding you at every moment of your life.

Song after each decade: Come Holy Spirit

The Descent of the Holy Spirit

1. Acts 2: 1-4

When Pentecost day came round, they had all met together, when suddenly there came from heaven a sound as of a violent wind which filled the entire house in which they were sitting; and there appeared to them tongues as of fire; these separated and came to rest on the head of each of them. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak different languages as the Spirit gave them power to express themselves.

2. R. And they went out to preach the Gospel message and so many were converted. And they went from town to town. And they were filled with the Holy Spirit, the fire of God’s love within. For the Holy Spirit had descended upon them and they were filled with His Love.

3. R. And they were locked in prison and they left the prison singing for they were fearless. Dear Holy Spirit fill us abundantly and help us to realize more and more the great gifts we possess, that we know the love of God, that we know His life, that we have been chosen and that He is giving to us great gifts and communicating to us and filling us.

4. Song: A Song from Jesus

5. Jesus: Satan is causing division and confusion in your lives. You must pray to the Holy Spirit for the Holy Spirit lifts you high and you are filled with the fire of His love. As the hot air balloon goes into the sky, you too, are raised above the problems of this earth. You cannot give in to satan for satan aims to keep you focused on yourself. Let the life of the Spirit be the light and motivating force within your souls and may you feel the vibrancy of the fire of the love of God, alive within your hearts.

6. Song: Come Holy Ghost

7. Jesus: You focus on the little details of your life and I am guarding you and forever with you. And the Father, Son and Holy Spirit dwell in your graced baptized soul. Do not fear My sweet ones. Live always in love in the Father’s Will and you will know peace and joy. I am guarding you in your lives. I am watching you. You are My beloved ones. I love you! I love you! I love you! I am forever with you alive within your heart.

8. Song: Come Holy Spirit

9. Mary: All through the day sing to the Holy Spirit to come into your hearts and to fill your hearts with the fire of God’s love. I am Mary, Your Mother. I am guarding you with my protective mantle. Come and dwell in my Heart and I will rock you in my love.

10. Mary: Although you are faced with trials and sufferings, let go! Let go and come and dwell in Our Hearts. You are being strengthened for the days ahead. The days ahead that will be hard and dark, but within your hearts you will be filled with an interior light that far surpasses any light that you see on this earth within you. Feel the presence of the Almighty God and know God’s light constantly burning within your breast, you are my beloved children. I am mothering you as I mothered my Son Jesus. My sweet wonderful children, I am forever with you. You are my soldiers. You are being sent into this world to help the hurting souls.

Rita said, “Mary is just surrounded in this pink light, celestial light that is so gorgeous.”

Song after each decade: Come Holy Spirit

The Assumption

1. R. Mary is taken body and soul into Heaven. See the glories of these mysteries that Jesus rose from the dead and Mary assumed into heaven. See Jesus as He ascends into the clouds into Heaven and the apostles that were filled with fear and were transformed to fearlessness, when the Holy Spirit descended upon them. Let us pray to be fearless. Souls are at stake and many will be lost and condemned to the fires of hell. And satan will press on us, the more that we proceed ahead to spread the love of the Almighty God. What have we to live for if we are not living to spread His love? If we are not alive in Him, we are not really alive.

2. R. These truly are the glorious mysteries. As we meditate on them see the mystery behind each one. God is all powerful. We do not realize the power of the Almighty God. We see before us little incidentals in our life that can trip us up. We need to pray for grace to look beyond, and to see the Big Picture, to see clearly as the Holy Spirit opens our eyes more and more to see the plan of the Father. Each one of us are being called by the Father to lead souls closer and closer to the Heart of Jesus. It is in loving God and in loving one another that we will spread His love to this world.

3. R. Jesus ascended into Heaven to make a place for us. Our true home is in Heaven. There is such a short time here, but the moments seem so long sometimes. Help us dear Holy Spirit to see more clearly the Big Picture. To reach for God. To plan for eternity. Seek union with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

4. Mary: My little children we cannot tell you enough of the sufferings that are in this world this day. As you unite more and more to my Son your intercessory prayers are greater and greater. Be about Your union with Jesus and offer your day to the Father in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in the Holy Spirit, for all of the suffering souls in this world today. Your prayers are so powerful when you pray this way.

5. Mary: Come to my Heart and dwell in my Heart and in the Heart of my Son and I will lead you closer and closer in union with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. I am Mary your Mother and I am giving you my motherly love.

6. Mary: Hearts that are haughty and filled with resentment and anger will not unite with close union with Our Hearts. Pray for purity in your heart and I call you to sainthood. I call you to holiness. Come to my Heart and pray to the Holy Spirit to sanctify you more and more to be more and more like my Son.

7. Mary: The more you are molded in my Heart, the Holy Spirit forms you more and more in the image of my Son. You will be one with God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Strive to be holy. Seek the Father’s will. Live in His will. You will have peace and joy in your lives. Live to do the Father’s Will. Live to be more like my Son Jesus. I am Mary your Mother. I am with you. I love you with my tenderly Motherly love.

8. Hail Mary
9. Hail Mary
10. Hail Mary

Song after each decade: Come Holy Spirit

Mary is Crowned Queen of Heaven and Earth

1. Song: Eyes Has Not Seen

2. R. Let us offer ourselves with Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, to the Father, in the Holy Spirit, through the intercession of Mary, with the angels and saints and the souls in purgatory. Let us unite in such oneness with Christ for this is so pleasing to the Father.

3. R. God gives us the great gift of the Holy Eucharist. Jesus gave Himself on the cross and He gives Himself to us this day in the Eucharist. Jesus wants us so one in Him.

4. R. We receive a sharing of God’s life in baptism. Jesus wants to fill us abundantly with His life. We are preparing for heaven.

5. R. We live out the life, death and resurrection of Jesus in our lives. Each moment of our lives beg God to outpour His grace to us. Let us focus on our union with God. For to know Him is to love Him. Let us dwell in the Two Hearts, our little heaven on earth.

6. Sing: God’s Love

R. We were created by God to know, love and serve Him. But nothing will feed the souls but the love of God.

7. Rita said, “Mary is so illuminated.”

R. Dear God we love this sharing in Your life. Please fill us abundantly with Your life, help us to be sensitive to Your touch in us. Do you feel the vibrancy of the Almighty God within you? Do you feel His power within you? God loves us so much.

Galatians 2: 19-20

...I have been crucified with Christ and yet I am alive; yet it is no longer I, but Christ living in me.

8. Revelation 12: 1-2

Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman, robed with the sun, standing on the moon, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. She was pregnant, and in labour, crying aloud in the pangs of childbirth.

R. Let us reach for the stars for our soul craves the love of God and only that satisfies our hearts. Let our hearts be soft and supple.

    Rita said, “Mary is so gorgeous and the whole time I was talking she was in flashing light. Mary is still so illuminated and so beautiful. It is hard to even describe what I have seen and now there is like pink hue all around the whole corner. She is just so beautiful. I can’t even describe what I am seeing. all through this mystery Mary has been this way. Now Mary is just - I can’t even tell you how gorgeous Mary is!”

9. R. Let us experience our little Heaven on earth as we unite more and more to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary. The earth may rock and the sun may cease to shine and the stars fall from the heavens, but within our hearts we will have peace and joy for we will know the presence of the Almighty God within us.

Mary: My dear ones, the times ahead will be dark and hard. You must unite closer and closer to Our Hearts. Satan is pressing down and trying to distract you to keep you from your work of spreading Our love. You must focus on the love of God and move steadfastly ahead. Put aside distractions that satan has created and know how strong he is at this time and how he is pressing down. You are being tormented in many ways: through your health and little incidents that are occurring in your lives. Know I am Mary your Mother and I am forever by your side protecting you and guarding you. Do not give in to the irritations and the sufferings you are going through. Know that in these sufferings you will be raised to new life. You will have thorns and roses in all your sufferings you will know union with Jesus, deeper and deeper, than you have ever experienced before. As you suffer greatly you will be given great gifts, for you will unite ever closer to the Heart of my beloved Son. You will know Him more and be filled more and more with His Life. You must focus on the great gifts that you are given for you are given gifts that are very special my chosen ones. To help you to accomplish the task that you are being called to. To go into this world to spread the love of Our Two Hearts. You are chosen My sweet adorable children and you have answered the call. I am Mary your Mother and I am guarding you and loving you and holding you ever closer to My Heart.

Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle B of the Litugical Year (2011/2012)
$ 10.00

Guiding Light homily series — Reflect on the Word — Cycle B     The Word leaves an impression on our souls. In my thoughts and reflections are born a more tangible understanding of these eternal concepts presented in the Gospels and the readings. Anyone can read a sentence, but not anyone can absorb it's true meaning. Truth, in this day and age, is almost a matter of opinion or individual entitlement. We believe that Christ's truth is our Roman Catholic Church. We, as priests, champion it's teachings; we are ambassadors for the Pope and Christ to those faces looking at us. We are the light by which our congregation reads to reflect upon real truth and we do it hand in hand. $10

Guiding Light - Steadfast to the Son
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle A of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light homily series — Steadfast to the Son — Cycle A    The sunflower is a great example of how we should be steadfastly guided by light. What a powerful thought that this exceptional plant is not stuck in one pose day in and day out, yet adaptable and magnetized to the sun. We feel the same about our Son. Our heads turns to face Christ as each day presents its challenges to find light. We join together like plants in a field and soak up the Son through the pulpit. We are a warm circle of strength using the wind of our breath to carry our priests' words, Christ's words, to new rich soil. $10

Guiding Light - Focusing on the Word
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle B of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light — Focusing on the Word — Cycle B    At times we may feel that our path to Christ is a bit "out of focus". Like the disciples in the Book of Mark, this ordinary life clouds our vision of Christ's Divinity. We may doubt the practicality or possibility of applying His teachings and example to our modern life. Cycle B's homilies are a "guiding light" to help us realize Jesus' Messianic greatness and His promise of better things to come. $10

Guiding Light - Feed My Soul
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle C of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light — Feed My Soul — Cycle C    In a world rapidly advancing and encouraging personal gain, we are faced with modern problems. There is a challenge to find time in our busy schedules for Sunday Mass or a family meal. We are able to research, shop, bank and even work without hearing one human voice. It is no wonder that we may often feel disconnected and famished at our week's end. In Fr. Joe's third book of homilies from Cycle C, we are reminded of the charity that Christ intended us to show each other. We have a calling to turn the other cheek and be the Good Samaritan to others. We are rewarded with the Father's kingdom and love when we are not worthy. We are not left alone or hungry. $10
