The Church is to be a beckon of
hope for the world —
We are Christians to bear
witness to Christ
We are to be loving
We are to be other focused
We are to be living according
to God's Plan
We are to realize what a gift
the sacraments are
We are baptized into new life
We are fed with His Body and Blood
We are given the sacrament of Confirmation
to strengthen us
ONE - HOLY - CATHOLIC
AND APOSTOLIC
Acts 1: 1-11
In my earlier work, Theophilus, I dealt with everything Jesus had done and taught from the beginning until the day he gave his instructions to the apostles he had chosen through the Holy Spirit, and was taken up to heaven. He had shown himself alive to them after his Passion by many demonstrations: for forty days he had continued to appear to them and tell them about the kingdom of God. While at table with them, he had told them not to leave Jerusalem, but to wait there for what the Father had promised. ‘It is’, he had said, ‘what you have heard me speak about: John baptised with water but, not many days from now, you are going to be baptised with the Holy Spirit.’
Now having met together, they asked him, ‘Lord, has the time come for you to restore the kingdom to Israel?’ He replied, ‘It is not for you to know times or dates that the Father has decided by his own authority, but you will receive the power of the Holy Spirit which will come on you, and then you will be my witnesses not only in Jerusalem but throughout Judaea and Samaria, and indeed to earth’s remotest end.’
As he said this he was lifted up while they looked on, and a cloud took him from their sight. They were still staring into the sky as he went, when suddenly two men in white were standing beside them, and they said, ‘Why are you Galileans standing here looking into the sky? This Jesus who has been taken up from you into heaven will come back in the same way as you have seen him go to heaven.’

Ephesians 1: 17-23
May the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, give you a spirit of wisdom and perception of what is revealed, to bring you to full knowledge of him. May he enlighten the eyes of your mind so that you can see what hope his call holds for you, how rich is the glory of the heritage he offers among his holy people, and how extraordinarily great is the power that he has exercised for us believers; this accords with the strength of his power at work in Christ, the power which he exercised in raising him from the dead and enthroning him at his right hand, in heaven, far above every principality, ruling force, power or sovereignty, or any other name that can be named, not only in this age but also in the age to come. He has put all things under his feet, and made him, as he is above all things, the head of the Church; which is his Body, the fullness of him who is filled, all in all.
Hebrews 9: 24-28
It is not as though Christ had entered a man–made sanctuary which was merely a model of the real one; he entered heaven itself, so that he now appears in the presence of God on our behalf. And he does not have to offer himself again and again, as the high priest goes into the sanctuary year after year with the blood that is not his own, or else he would have had to suffer over and over again since the world began. As it is, he has made his appearance once and for all, at the end of the last age, to do away with sin by sacrificing himself. Since human beings die only once, after which comes judgement, so Christ too, having offered himself only once to bear the sin of many, will manifest himself a second time, sin being no more, to those who are waiting for him, to bring them salvation.
Hebrews 10: 19-23
We have then, brothers, complete confidence through the blood of Jesus in entering the sanctuary, by a new way which he has opened for us, a living opening through the curtain, that is to say, his flesh. And we have the high priest over all the sanctuary of God. So as we go in, let us be sincere in heart and filled with faith, our hearts sprinkled and free from any trace of bad conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us keep firm in the hope we profess, because the one who made the promise is trustworthy.
Luke 24: 46-53
and he said to them, ‘So it is written that the Christ would suffer and on the third day rise from the dead, and that, in his name, repentance for the forgiveness of sins would be preached to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem. You are witnesses to this.
‘And now I am sending upon you what the Father has promised. Stay in the city, then, until you are clothed with the power from on high.’
Then he took them out as far as the outskirts of Bethany, and raising his hands he blessed them. Now as he blessed them, he withdrew from them and was carried up to heaven. They worshipped him and then went back to Jerusalem full of joy; and they were continually in the Temple praising God.

A Prayer for Intimacy with the Lamb, the Bridegroom of the Soul
Oh Lamb of God, Who take away the sins of the world, come and act on my soul most intimately. I surrender myself, as I ask for the grace to let go, to just be as I exist in You and You act most intimately on my soul. You are the Initiator. I am the soul waiting Your favors as You act in me. I love You. I adore You. I worship You. Come and possess my soul with Your Divine Grace, as I experience You most intimately.

They were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak different languages as the Spirit gave them power to express themselves.

to act in desolation —
to listen to the negative talk of satan —
to give into satan when he presses on us

We grow old God, but we should
be advancing in the spiritual life
not giving into satan's negative energy —

Prayer for Union with Jesus
Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart.
I am Yours to possess. I am Yours to use. I want to be selfless and only exist in You. Help me to spoon out all that is me and be an empty vessel ready to be filled by You. Help me to die to myself and live only for You. Use me as You will. Let me never draw my attention back to myself. I only want to operate as You do, dwelling within me.
I am Yours, Lord. I want to have my life in You. I want to do the will of the Father. Give me the strength to put aside the world and let You operate my very being. Help me to act as You desire. Strengthen me against the distractions of the devil to take me from Your work.
When I worry, I have taken my focus off of You and placed it on myself. Help me not to give in to the promptings of others to change what in my heart You are making very clear to me. I worship You, I adore You and I love You. Come and dwell in me now.

Sing: He Has Anointed Me
Nobody can change another's
heart. People for years have
wanted happy holidays, birthdays —
etc. —
Anyone experiencing trauma,
alcoholism, divorce knows different
holidays than the rest of the
world. To have an event, a holiday
to them is to have heartache.
Now Jesus tells us that on the
first Good Friday — the men put
Him to death — This is what we
commemorate, but despite His
sufferings and death - Jesus overcame
the evil of their hearts —
Jesus died and He rose on the 3rd
day.
Selfishness, not other-focused is
the work that satan wants us to
do. He wants us doing things for
our own honor and glory. God wants us
to see our accomplishments for
His honor and glory.
A man could keep track of
selfish things in his heart. He was
jealous, he was prideful, hateful,
he wanted dominance, it was
ALL ABOUT HIM AND HIS PERSONAL
GLORY.
When the big event came, all
satan had to do was come with an
old memory, an unmet need, a
family problem and he rationalized
why he could work against the event.
God gave us Easter to celebrate
the resurrection. We are in the Easter
season. Have we celebrated the gift
God gave us through the resurrection
in sharing in His life.
I watched a baby and they wanted
to eat - now — did you watch children
stick out their bottom lip and cry. A new baby
doesn't even see too good. He is focused
on himself — he cannot fix his own
food — go to the bathroom — he lays on
his back and needs to be waited on.
Some people late in life have
these same needs. Disease can do this
make someone almost helpless.
Small children can be very, very
jealous of new babies, each other —
little children can be very selfish —
they have to learn to share — they learn
to love and be united by watching others
love.
In a world where about 1/2 of the
people have been divorced what does
a child learn.
In a world where we are taught
by society to be out for ourselves many
times what have we learned.
How about the rules allowing
people to kill a baby in the womb for
their freedom they think.
Well God has given us these
5ths, 13ths, Retreats, Sidney Rosaries
to pray and provided this church for us
with the exposed Eucharist and the
site in Florida to draw others like
a magnet to the love in the Shepherds of Christ.
Are you doing what God has
asked — to show the world all the love
and warmth He has given to us on the
5ths and 13ths and in the Blue Book
Writings.
A man went out and worked and worked
in a field — for days in the hot sun —
at long last his daughter came and
made him mad — he tore up the
whole field.
Who was he sowing for — his
own self glory. I want the peace
and love of thanking God for this tremendous
gift.
Did you ever enter a room and
everything was nice and people were
laughing, a baby then has a dirty
diaper and the odor begins to run
people out.
I was on a plane coming home
from Florida and someone had
been drinking in the back of the
plane — it smelled so bad I could
hardly stand it and then they got
sick in the restroom on the plane —
If I wasn't on a plane I would
have gotten out of there.
Jesus has given us the Shepherds of Christ
to create an atmosphere of love at our centers —
an attraction — to tell the world the love
as He says in the Blue Books—
Jesus outpours His love in the
Blue Books.
Jesus has given us the Church to
be an atmosphere of love — an attraction
for those who come to feel that love —
that want to know the other focused
love of the community — the joy of doing
things for the honor and glory of God —
not selfishness — people coming and
serving for their own honor and glory.
Letting go of inordinate attachments —
wanting things for my selfish promotion,
wanting things for the sake of souls —
Seeing the BIG PICTURE
LOVING the whole CHURCH
LOVING all the souls —
Seeing the Mission of the Shepherds of Christ
Seeing the Mission of the Church
helping to strengthen the Church
through our loving support
If you aren't loving — you aren't like
Jesus —
blaming others for your life long problems
stops the growth of the institution,
family, school, workplace
We are to be a light to the world
One looked out prison bars
one saw mud
one saw stars
When you say
"It's all about me and I'm
mad I'm not recognized —
I want the golden platter"—
then I am self-focused
God wants the Christian family deeply
one
God wants the Christian family deeply
holy
A mother of a new baby and mother
of others must make lots of
sacrifices
The father has many sacrifices to make —
In times of change the devil can
rip families apart —
God in these times can strengthen the
family in the deepest love —
The same is true of the Church —
In times of struggle — God can
bind the Church in love and
strengthen it
God has called us to see this how
we can help in
1) spreading the consecration
2) praying for the priests (prayer chapters)
3) spreading the Priestly Newsletter
and all the books
We can become self-centered, criticize,
act negatively in this world
Or we can help to strengthen and love
with the might of God —
Disciplining our minds and hearts —
recognizing how we work against
God's plan —
the Plan He wants to use to strengthen —
when days of prayer come the
retreat, the 5th, the 13th,
the Sidney Rosary and
We work to work against these days
of prayer
rather than lifting up our
minds and hearts to God —
being other-focused —
begging for grace for our centers
Sunday Mass should be like this at
Church —
to beg for grace to strengthen and love
the Church, our priests
and the world
to beg for grace and mercy
to pray
We need to work on our spiritual
life every day — loving God and
each other and then
coming to Church to pray on
Sunday — empowered with
love as Christians praying
for the souls Jesus died for —
praying for members of the Church
Satan can and will attack all day —
trying to weaken that deep
love that can help bring down
great grace when the Holy
Spirit is moving and energizing
and lots of love and grace goes
out to the Church and the world
when we are praying
Think of a unit — strong and loving —
the devil comes in the weakest
link — trying to drag down
Did you see a swimming pool —
We had them as a kid —
If somebody comes with a big screw
driver on the side of the plastic pool
and pokes a big hole —
water gushes out and soon the pool
is empty —
We also had rubber tire inner tubes — if they
were filled with air - they were
fun — but if they got a hole -
all the air went out
I deliver this writing from God, but
some people don't know how
satan uses them in schools,
churches, families and they
can get stuck through pride
and thinking they are perfect.
I understand the John writing that
says — if you say you are
without sin - you are a liar
Let us all let the Holy Spirit
fill us
not be dragged down by
the evil spirit —
who comes like a thief in the
night
A storm on a sunlit day and
the devil tries to storm
the house
A farmer had a
big field — he labored
and he got pressed on
one day and tore it all
out —
Come winter the children
were starving for food
Sing: Come with Me into the Field
See the golden fields of late summer —
See the labor that went before
See the little flowers of the field —
early spring —
say yes to planting the
seeds
for a golden harvest
The gown of heaven is sewn
with gold threads
Lights beyond our imagining
and happiness in hearts of
love —
no jealousy, envy, lust,
pride
All in heaven living
according to God's will
the Father's Plan
