Messenger:       Living life as deeply as I
                            can —

                        Being human, but reaching
                            the heights of experiencing
                            life in Him.

                        Seeing the beautiful golden flowers —
                            deeply loving the Creator —

                        Knowing God through other's
                            talents —

                        Loving deeply as God
                            imparts to us the wisdom of
                            being what He wants us
                            to be —

                        Being a good baptized Catholic —
                            uniting deeply to the Mass —

                        Knowing deeply Father, Son and Holy Spirit
                            dwelling in my graced soul.

                        Take me God into a deeper
                            sharing of My life in you

Galatians 2: 19-20

I have been crucified with Christ and yet I am alive; yet it is no longer I, but Christ living in me. The life that I am now living, subject to the limitation of human nature, I am living in faith, faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave himself for me.

Messenger:        The transforming union —

                        God gives us all we need!

                        The joy of our hearts is
                            holiness —

                        Using the gifts we have
                            been given according
                            to His plan —

                        Seeing the wider vision                       

                        Embracing the cross and
                            knowing the resurrection

                        Praying to see the golden
                            fields of tomorrow

                        The fruit of another time —

                        Not being caught in momentary
                            pleasures that succumb to
                            being relieved, but not
                            doing the mission.

                        Mary said "yes"

                        She carried the child Jesus —

                        When others did not
                            understand — she knew
                            God's will for her —
                            She lived by His Plan.

                        Is there no one to see the
                            answer in the cross and
                            the resurrection —

                        The priests dwindling and that
                            God has sent a Mighty
                            Medicine.

                        But the tried, used way has
                            led to fewer and fewer
                            priests, less Masses —
                            less Catholic schools —
                            less unity in the family —
                            more pornography, dysfunction.

Jesus speaks:   If you keep going down
                            the hill riding the
                            snowball —
                            eventually you get
                            caught on the bottom — 

Messenger:    Dear God the Father in the name of Your Son Jesus Christ
                        in the Holy Spirit with all the angels and the saints
                        and the souls in purgatory, we gather together
                        in this Mass to pray for the sake of souls
                        that the people of this earth will see the light,
                        that they will know Jesus as their Savior
                        and that the Sacred Heart of Jesus
                        will reign in their hearts and the
                        Immaculate Heart of Mary will triumph.

                    For it is in His Might that all things
                        have come to be. It is in relying in Him,
                        in trusting in Him, in letting go and
                        knowing the tranquility of the Father,
                        Son and Holy Spirit dwelling within my graced soul,
                        and answering the call of following that mission,
                        in living in the Father's will in all things.

                    In being in New York when I need to be in New York
                        and in California when that is His will for me.
                        It is in getting down to the depth of our soul
                        and giving our hearts to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary
                        begging God to outpour that knowledge of His
                        will for us at all times.

Messenger:   It is coming to the Eucharist and letting the
                        grace that He outpours as we are before Him
                        truly present, penetrate our heart
                        with the docility to listen and to know
                        that God's plan is the plan of peace and joy
                        to the weary soul.

                    It is with all of these thoughts
                        in great desire to love and serve Him
                        that I pray with you asking God in this Mass
                        to outpour the grace for those things
                        that He has called us to do
                        saying yes to my vocation,
                        yes with avid joy and love.

                    For knowing that His Might will work
                        through my efforts of serving Him
                        and have its affect to help transform
                        the troubled souls more and more
                        into the ways of the Lord.

                    It is for the souls of this earth that I pray
                        that they will know the Savior is Jesus Christ,
                        the Son of God, that the joy of the heart
                        will be exuberant knowing that we are fed
                        by the Flesh and the Blood of Jesus,
                        the Son of God.

Messenger:   And when the ruffled waters come
                        and the sadness of some days,
                        beneath the surface is the oneness
                        of knowing the Father, Son and Holy Spirit
                        dwelling within my graced soul.

                    And looking at Him our beloved Jesus
                        as He hung to His death on the cross
                        doing the will of God and coming forth
                        triumphant on the third day in the resurrection.

                    Oh why are we these feeble children that are
                        so afraid when God is with us at every moment?
                        It is in the struggles as in the times of joy,
                        of being one as He allowed us to experience,
                        this life experience that can help to bring
                        down grace united to the Mass.

                    Accepting that which God gives to us
                        praying fervently, loving one another
                        asking God for us to be patient and kind,
                        but realizing that there will not be joy in our hearts
                        in animosity, hatred, envy, jealousy, anger, rage,
                        whatever it is — impurities that lead to sins of sex.
                        For there is no joy in sinning.

                    Likewise is there no joy in not serving Him
                        with a heart that is filled with love for Him and others.

                    Now is the moment of our life, the moment God has given to us
                        to live in, to say yes, not to contemplate the nights past or
                        the hours to come, but to focus here in this church
                        on the gift of the Mass about to begin.
                        And to give ourselves as holy as we can
                        that the will of God will be done
                        and that we can say yes more fervently
                        to the mission that God has called us to.

                    Yes to the moment, the moments of our lives,
                        the only ones that we have now.
                        The moment of being so united to God
                        in whatever that moment brings to us.
                        For in that moment we touch God
                        in the ordinariness as we meditate on the years
                        of Christ's life, from little to thirty and know little of those.

Messenger:   There was a purpose, a purpose for you and me today
                        that whatever He calls us to,
                        and it may be the sufferings of lent,
                        or the joy in the resurrection —
                        whatever He calls us to,
                        if the joy is in living in the moment
                        according to God's will for the sake of souls.

                    Dear God we pray —

                    Father in the name of Your Son Jesus
                        in the Holy Spirit with all the angels and the saints
                        that You impart to us the ability to serve You,
                        to help to lead more and more souls to
                        their eternal salvation by knowing Your love
                        and consecrating their hearts
                        to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary.

                    And those baptized Catholics living in that commitment
                        of the great gift that God has given to us
                        to be members of the body of Christ.

                    God our hearts are given to You
                        that You will take them to Yourself
                        and help us to serve You
                        with greater love and purity
                        always for the moment that we live today
                        is a moment of joy. The moment that
                        God acts in us in all those moments,
                        not that one may be more important
                        than the other. They are the moments
                        that we have now to embrace as we live
                        in Him serving Him to help
                        in bringing souls to Him and
                        being with Him for all eternity.

                   Sing:  Amen, Amen, Amen, Amen, Amen.

    "My beloved priest-companion, I intend to use the priestly newsletter, Shepherds of Christ, and the movement, Shepherds of Christ Associates, in a powerful way for the renewal of My Church and the world.

    "I will use the newsletter and the chapters of Shepherds of Christ Associates as a powerful instrument for spreading devotion to My Heart and My Mother's Heart.

    "I am calling many to become members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. To all of them I will give great blessings. I will use them as instruments to help bring about the triumph of the Immaculate Heart and the reign of My Sacred Heart. I will give great graces to the members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. I will call them to be deeply united to My Heart and to Mary's Heart as I lead them ever closer to My Father in the Holy Spirit."

The Birth of the Full Ministries
of the Shepherds of Christ

    "I wish to share with you part of a message which Jesus gave us on October 13, 1994. The message tells us about the expansion of the Shepherds of Christ movement:

    'My beloved priest-companion, today I come to you with another mission. I am asking you to establish Shepherds of Christ Ministries. At My request you have already begun the priestly newsletter, "Shepherds of Christ", and the prayer chapters, Shepherds of Christ Associates...

    'I am giving you this message on this day, the 77th Anniversary of the Great Apparition at Fatima, because of the close connection between the Shepherds of Christ movement and the Fatima message. The Fatima message is centered in devotion to My Heart and My Mother's Heart, especially in consecration to Our Hearts. Shepherds of Christ Ministries is also centered in devotion to Our Hearts. I will use Shepherds of Christ Ministries as a great instrument in helping to bring about the triumph of the Immaculate Heart and the reign of My Sacred Heart. When this occurs, My Church and the world will be experiencing the great era of peace promised by My Mother at Fatima.

    'Today, then, October 13, 1994, the 77th Anniversary of the Great Apparition at Fatima, marks the birth of Shepherds of Christ Ministries. I pour forth the great love of My Sacred Heart to all. I am Jesus, Chief Shepherd of the flock.'

    "Jesus has told us that Shepherds of Christ Ministries includes: the priestly newsletter, Shepherds of Christ, Shepherds of Christ Associates prayer chapters, various publications, including books, whatever else Our Lord directs us to undertake.

You have given great joy to the Heart of Jesus by responding to His invitation to become members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. As He draws you closer to His Heart and to His Mother's Heart as Associates members, He will fill you with an ever-increasing experience of His love, peace, and joy."

Apostles of the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus

  
My dear fellow Associate Members,

Jesus is calling special apostles to join a new division of the Shepherds of Christ Movement. Here is a message from Jesus given to Father Carter:

My beloved priest-companion, I am requesting that a new prayer movement be started under the direction of Shepherds of Christ Ministries. I am asking for volunteers who are willing to pray before the Blessed Sacrament for one hour, twice-weekly. Members of the Shepherds of Christ prayer chapters, as well as others, are to be invited to join this movement.

These apostles are to pray for the intentions I am giving you. For part of the hour they are to use the prayers of the Shepherds of Christ Associates Handbook. They may spend the rest of the hour as they so choose.

I will use this new prayer movement within My Shepherds of Christ Ministries in a powerful way to help in the renewal of My Church and the world. I will give great graces to those who join this movement. The name, Apostles of the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus, is to be given to this movement.

I am inviting My beloved Rita Ring to be coordinator for this activity.

I pour out the great love of My Sacred Heart to all. I am Jesus, Chief Shepherd of the flock.

    This is indeed a special calling for us to unite in one heart with His Eucharistic Heart and pray for the following intentions:

1. For the spread of the devotion to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary culminating in the reign of the Sacred Heart and the triumph of the Immaculate Heart.
2. For the Pope.
3. For all bishops of the world.
4. For all priests.
5. For all sisters and brothers in the religious life.
6. For all members of the Shepherds of Christ Movement, and for the spread of this movement to the world.
7. For all members of the Catholic Church.
8. For all members of the human family.
9. For all souls in purgatory.
