Oh Lamb of God, Who take away the sins of the world, come and act on my soul most intimately. Everything we do should be for the honor and glory
of God.
So today we want to meditate on the
Joyful Mysteries, keeping in mind
wholeheartedly how Jesus the Son of God
came as a baby.
He was formed, His body, in Mary's womb.
We go to Mary's Immaculate Heart
and we are formed more and more
in that image and likeness of Jesus
through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Mary's Immaculate Heart is our spiritual
womb.
And we dear, Holy Spirit ask that You will
fill our hearts with fire.
We outpour our love to you, our God
and we sing this song.

Annunciation.
The angel appeared to Mary.
Luke 1: 26-38
In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a town in Galilee called Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man named Joseph, of the House of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary. He went in and said to her, ‘Rejoice, you who enjoy God’s favour! The Lord is with you.’ She was deeply disturbed by these words and asked herself what this greeting could mean, but the angel said to her, ‘Mary, do not be afraid; you have won God’s favour. Look! You are to conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you must name him Jesus. He will be great and will be called Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his ancestor David; he will rule over the House of Jacob for ever and his reign will have no end.’ Mary said to the angel, ‘But how can this come about, since I have no knowledge of man?’ The angel answered, ‘The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will cover you with its shadow. Mary always complied to the will of the
Father.
God chose Mary to be the Mother of God.
Mary always complied to the will of the
Father.
Mary said yes.
Lets meditate for about 5 minutes and
ask ourselves what God is asking us to do.
If He has something important and special
He is asking us to do —
it can be something quite ordinary —
but these ordinary things are important
to God.
Do we meditate on the lives of Jesus and Mary?
Think about how They may have responded
if They were in this situation.
Mary said yes.
We do the 7 sorrows every night in the
6:20 prayers.
We see the sorrows she had to undergo.
We see Mary's yes in the 7 sorrows.
The Seven Sorrows
1. The prophecy of Simeon
2. The flight into Egypt
3. The loss of the Child Jesus in the temple
4. Jesus and Mary meet on the way to the cross
5. Jesus dies on the cross
6. Jesus is taken down from the cross and laid in Mary's arms
7. The burial of Jesus
The Nativity
We see Mary's yes in the Prophesy of Simeon,
and heard him speak that a sword
will pierce your heart oh Mary.
Mary our Mother is our model.
She said yes.
Many times we may not think we suffer
as we should have suffered.
But what is important is our faithfulness
to God.
Our Yes!
Our desire to live in greater humility.
When the times are tough —
To not throw in the towel
Do not flee —
Hang in there and to rely on His might.
To realize that we are little children
of the Father
growing more and more in the spiritual life,
growing deeper and deeper in that oneness
with God.
Mary teaches us —
in this mystery of the rosary
how she said yes —
Yes to being our Mother.
Yes to being the Mother of God.
Yes to being Mother to all the children of the earth
and being connected and loving them
despite all of their different ways
they may sin and displease God.
And Mary appeared on that building for
7 years
to tell the world
that she said yes
and to tell them
that she was there to lead them to her Immaculate Heart
the sinless heart of our Mother.
Mary teaches us about humility and truth.
Mary is the Mother that walks by our side today.
The one that is with us at every moment
to help lead us on our spiritual journey
to be united more deeply
to Jesus, our Savior, the Son of God.
Mary speaks:
My children,
I speak to you to tell you,
as your heavenly Mother,
that I am with you
in trials and hardships.
My children,
I said yes to the Father's will.
Say yes to the Father's will in
all that you do.
For in it lies your peace
although my children
you may suffer
and want to give up.
Do not give into the temptations of satan
to get you to flee.
But pray to God to live a full bodied life,
one rooted in Him.
For the fruit will be brought forth from the vine
in the one who is united
to God.

see in my face the yes that I gave to God,

For many today are not believing
that Jesus is the Son of God.
How would it be to go through life
with such a belief?

school so that the children will
know about the fruit of her womb —

That the Almighty God

That He had a little baby body
and He was conceived in the

the image and likeness
of God.
Jesus came with a little body
and was born in a stable.
Where does the Son of God
