1 John 4:17-21
Love comes to its perfection in us when we can face the Day of Judgement fearlessly,
because even in this world we have become as he is. In love there is no room for fear, but
perfect love drives out fear, because fear implies punishment and no one who is afraid has
come to perfection in love. Let us love, then, because he first loved us. Anyone who says
'I love God' and hates his brother, is a liar, since whoever does not love the brother
whom he can see cannot love God whom he has not seen. Indeed this is the commandment we
have received from him, that whoever loves God, must also love his brother.

John 6: 44-51
No one can come
to me
unless drawn by the Father who sent me,

and learnt from him,
comes to me.
Not that anybody has seen the Father,
except him who has his being from God:
he has seen the Father.
In all truth I tell you,
everyone who believes has eternal life.
I am the bread of life.
Your fathers ate manna in the desert
and they are dead;
but this is the bread
which comes down from heaven,
so that a person may eat it and not die.
I am the living bread
which has come down from heaven.
Anyone who eats this bread
will live for ever;
and the bread that I shall give
is my flesh, for the life of the world.

A thief comes in the night with malice in his
heart he can come noisy banging to get in or
he can come sneaking to not be observed with
his evil heart - to steal to work undercover
to do harm
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life
Jesus shows us His battered naked body Jesus
the Son of God comes a little baby a bare
body into the world The treasure is the
heart of this little body the Heart so
pure
Adam and Eve knew what God told them and
they could have obeyed The devil lied to Eve
the devil tempted her in the heat of the
day the devil comes with emotions
anger malice of heart jealousies
a running mind The devil said to Eve that
she could be smart equal to God the devil
appealed to her pride she could raise up
The devil wants the individual to believe his
lies as the truth turning right into wrong
deception and he tries to tempt by showing
evil as good the devil appeals to the
individual with his sneaky scheme the devil
doesn't sleep he comes in opportune times
the devil opens the mind and fills it with
lies and deceptions to lure the soul into his
evil scheme to seduce the heart the more
he works on an individual the easier it is
to use them to do his vicious work of
tearing apart loving relationships, building unity
adoring God performing work for God to
help promote truth and the Kingdom of God
The devil's work is masked he can work in
secret where one wears a face of innocence
the devil works in the deceptive heart
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life
The commandments are clear the devil tries
to tell the person "oh we have a situation
here that makes the rules able to be
changed" Whatever the devil's first encounter
to lure the soul away from truth and
right soon if the person does not take
responsibility for their sins the devil can
work with an individual where their lies
are habits, they can, for example, steal
and do it sneaky, but tell themselves
it's fine to steal even though if they
recognized their own cover up they could
see the extent they go to, to hide their
sins and lie to hide them If anything
is found out they become very
indignant if they continue to desire
the cover-up and can go to all extremes
of showing their evil actions didn't
happen at all hiding and manipulating to
cover-up the crime remain innocent
and make the other trying to stop the injustice
look like they are the guilty party
Jesus is truth
If one goes in the direction to embrace happiness
one must walk in the truth be authentic
not lie when God gave us the commandments
to not bear false witness, not to steal, the
scripture says there will be no more lies in revelation,
God tells us not to kill
In the commandments we are being told
how to treat others
and thus have happy
lives obeying God's rules
We see clearly in the garden of Eden Eve
disobeyed God she knew what He said
She disobeyed Him and we see as her
children we still suffer from original sin
Sin offends God
Sin drives us from God
God is merciful
God is loving
But man with a contrite heart, is
to tell God he is sorry for his sin
recognize his sin with a firm
purpose of amendment not to sin
again and with his love for God and others
attempt to not give into the temptations of
sinning
Sin hurts our relationship with God
Sin hurts our relationship with others
God is wanting us to grow in oneness
Living lies
Living in sin drives us from God
God is truth
Satan is the father of lies
Satan wants the person with their free will
to disregard authority and to seek to
be over just authority
i.e. Children to argue with parents and to disobey
rebelling against the 4th commandment
when the parent is acting with the
authority God gave them
Satan wants confrontation with authority,
just authority
Satan tempts the person by telling them
you should do what you want
nobody can tell you what to do
do it anyway
just do it
test them see if you get away
with it
disobey the rules
satan wants to wipe out rules
satan wants to dismiss structure
satan wants - willfulness people
rising over just rules needed
for living according to God's will
In businesses there are rules if a person
wants a job they must obey the rules
there are performance reviews
The person who has lived trying to force
their way in life
"Nobody will tell me what to do"
has to manipulate and force this rule
through some means on others
Rules for them start and end with them
and relationships of serving and
loving as God commanded are
challenged more and more every day
We used to go to Coney Island and there were
Dodgem Cars a person could bump you
in their car anyway they wanted
God gave us rules
If we love God, really love God, we live to
love our neighbor
The commandments tell us how to love God
and love our neighbor
These commandments are to build
relationships with God and others we
have to obey God's rules if we are to be
happy If we offend God and others if we
get some momentary pleasure we are not
really happy
Satan works a little at a time so it will
be less noticed
Like a frog if you put him in a pot
of boiling water he jumps out,
But if the frog is put in warm water
and it is gradually heated to boiling
he will stay in and eventually die
God gives us so many gifts
God is love
God is the Creator
God wants us to live loving and respecting
one another and growing in our relationships
We all sin, but we are to examine our
conscience, be accountable for
our sins, responsible for our sins
and make amends to God and
others
God called these 8 days of reparation
praying to help repair the damage
in man's relationship with God,
by sacrifice, singing and praising
God
Did you ever see these two words in the English
language
SINNING
SINGING
It's a free choice
Will I serve God and love God being
more and more in His image and
likeness or
Will I sin offending God by giving
into sin the deadly sins
sinning against God and my brother
and listening to satan who lies
telling the sinner what is right is
wrong and what is wrong is right
The Fall of Man
Genesis Chapter 3
Now, the snake was the
most subtle of all the wild animals that Yahweh God had made. It
asked the woman, 'Did God really say you were not to eat from any of
the trees in the garden?' The woman answered the snake, 'We may eat
the fruit of the trees in the garden. But of the fruit of the tree
in the middle of the garden God said, "You must not eat it, nor
touch it, under pain of death." ' Then the snake said to the woman,
'No! You will not die! God knows in fact that the day you eat it
your eyes will be opened and you will be like gods, knowing good
from evil.' The woman saw that the tree was good to eat and pleasing
to the eye, and that it was enticing for the wisdom that it could
give. So she took some of its fruit and ate it. She also gave some
to her husband who was with her, and he ate it. Then the eyes of
both of them were opened and they realised that they were naked. So
they sewed fig-leaves together to make themselves loin-cloths.
The man and his wife
heard the sound of Yahweh God walking in the garden in the cool of
the day, and they hid from Yahweh God among the trees of the garden.
But Yahweh God called to the man. 'Where are you?' he asked. 'I
heard the sound of you in the garden,' he replied. 'I was afraid
because I was naked, so I hid.' 'Who told you that you were naked?'
he asked. 'Have you been eating from the tree I forbade you to eat?'
The man replied, 'It was the woman you put with me; she gave me some
fruit from the tree, and I ate it.' Then Yahweh God said to the
woman, 'Why did you do that?' The woman replied, 'The snake tempted
me and I ate.'
Then Yahweh God said to
the snake, 'Because you have done this,
Accursed be you
of all animals wild and tame!
On your belly you will go
and on dust you will feed
as long as you live.
I shall put enmity
between you and the woman,
and between your offspring and hers;
it will bruise your head
and you will strike its heel.'
To the woman he said:
I shall give you intense pain
in childbearing,
you will give birth to your children
in pain.
Your yearning will be for your husband,
and he will dominate you.
To the man he said,
'Because you listened to the voice of your wife and ate from the
tree of which I had forbidden you to eat,
Accursed be the soil
because of you!
Painfully will you get your food from it
as long as you live.
It will yield you brambles and thistles,
as you eat the produce of the land.
By the sweat of your face
will you earn you food,
until you return to the ground,
as you were taken from it.
For dust you are
and to dust you shall return.
The man named his wife
'Eve' because she was the mother of all those who live. Yahweh God
made tunics of skins for the man and his wife and clothed them. Then
Yahweh God said, 'Now that the man has become like one of us in
knowing good from evil, he must not be allowed to reach out his hand
and pick from the tree of life too, and eat and live for ever!' So
Yahweh God expelled him from the garden of Eden, to till the soil
from which he had been taken. He banished the man, and in front of
the garden of Eden he posted the great winged creatures and the
fiery flashing sword, to guard the way to the tree of life.
R. Sins can become a habitual vices
Humility is a virtue and brings
the soul closer to God
building loving relationships
with God and others
Humility is truth
A person really like Mary who was humble,
sinless pure the perfect handmaid
of the Lord
did not tell little "white lies"
Deception is lying
A person called to represent the work
for a company and report upward
to the boss if they deceive the
boss are in a rebelling state
with the boss they usually are fired
Our life is being responsible to the boss
who is God
He created us
He made the rules
He gave us our talents to do the
work
Satan said
"I will not serve God"
Satan wants souls for hell
Rebelling against the boss usually means
you loose your job
R. Heaven is a REWARD
promised to those who love and serve the Lord
The person trying to live by God's rules
is establishing lasting relationships
of love in their heart
love of God
love of others
Respecting our creaturehood
1 Corinthians 15:20-28
In fact, however, Christ has
been raised from the dead, as the first-fruits of all who
have fallen asleep. As it was by one man that death came, so
through one man has come the resurrection of the dead. Just
as all die in Adam, so in Christ all will be brought to
life; but all of them in their proper order: Christ the
first-fruits, and next, at his coming, those who belong to
him. After that will come the end, when he will hand over
the kingdom to God the Father, having abolished every
principality, every ruling force and power. For he is to be
king until he has made his enemies his footstool, and
the last of the enemies to be done away with is death, for
he has put all things under his feet. But when it is
said everything is subjected, this obviously cannot include
the One who subjected everything to him. When everything has
been subjected to him, then the Son himself will be
subjected to the One who has subjected everything to him, so
that God may be all in all.
R. Satan wanted Jesus to bow to him
Satan is the grand deceiver
Satan presses on people to mask
their activities
if you are hiding something you
are doing at work from the boss
it's a good sign you probably
shouldn't be doing it
There is energy when one provokes and
knows something is wrong and
does it any way
There is energy when there is anger,
passion, jealousy, stealing,
working under cover
A person working sneaky under the
boss is trying to raise themselves
above in power working
behind their back
Jesus: I am the boss
You cannot hide anything from Me
You are to obey the commandments
obey authority
To live more the Christ-life means
to grow more in the life of grace
It is to be filled with My life
I am, the way, the truth and the life
I am God
I see everything
When you sin you choose to sin
you have a free will
to obey
to rebel against the Father's will
You can choose to obey
You can choose to not obey
If you love Me you keep My
commands
I died for your sins
I know them
Sin drives you from Me
Sin makes you miserable
Angry for you are depriving yourself
of deeper union with Me
Then satan can move in with his lies
Passions are energies you know
when satan is luring you to sin with
passion and evil in your heart
I read the hearts
I know your every thought
Your 'fiendish' desires
Your passions and lust
Your anger and jealousies
Evils in the heart
Sneaky things are not hidden from
My eyes
You hearts can become more and more
debase
like stone
Your hearts were made for loving
Your hearts were made to be soft and supple
Your hearts were made to be in relationships
with God and others
A person moving ahead and sinning
is moving ahead and sinning
with malice of intent
Listening to satan's lies can be deadly
don't give into sin
You have a free will
