R. Why does a priest leave their vocation?
Why does anyone rebel against their own
vocation and search for a plan opposed
to the Father's Plan
Judas was chosen by Jesus to be an Apostle
Judas was not chosen to be a traitor
He rebelled against Jesus' calling
We need priests - now
In the future we need priests
If we really realized God truly
loves us and quit looking for
something else to satisfy us
Seriously meditating on the presence
of God in our graced
baptized soul
The Father, Son and Holy Spirit live in us
We want to be filled more and more with
this life
We are hungry
We need to be an empty vessel ready
to be filled by Him
If we realize that God loves us
this is reality then we don't
seek affections as our goal
from others manipulate to
get others affections
We live because God has given us a
vocation to love Him and love
others and to help them to know
His love and be with Him forever
in heaven
We can have attachments morbidly to
others wanting them to fill our
starved soul created for God
and called to know His love and
tell others of Jesus' love
Mary the perfect handmaid of the Lord
lived her life telling all about
the Love of her Son Jesus Jesus
was her focus, doing the Father's
will living as the Spouse of the Holy Spirit.
Jesus, Jesus, Jesus is our life
Life is in Him
He died to give us this sharing in His life
This is the message of the Blue Books that
have fed so many hungry souls
Looking and looking for life
Jesus nourishes this life with Himself
He gives us the Eucharist
He gives us His Word
The message of Fatima Mary came to
deliver is the message of Our Lady of Clearwater
It is the message of Love
When we expect others who are wounded
too and need our prayers to fill us
with what only God can fill us with
we are barking down the wrong
tree and we are frustrated, angry
lift empty because God created us
to need Him to be filled by Him
His Divine Love and nobody can
fill us with this gift we were
created to need
We can never be full of His life here
on earth only in heaven so
there is in us always this longing
for completeness in Him we can have
in heaven So we are always wanting
more begging for more never
satisfied
If we know our brothers hurt us and we
are filled with the reality of His love
we want to pray for them and pray
they find healing and love of God
deeply in their soul
We stand firm footed in a bath of
His love dwelling in the Hearts
of Jesus and Mary, our little heaven on earth
Dwelling in the Heart of Jesus means
we are receiving the source of love
we are one with the Father
the Holy Spirit filling us with the fire of
God's love being made more holy
Our little heaven on earth dwelling
in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary mean we
are being formed more and more in the
image and likeness of God by the Holy Spirit
molded in the spiritual womb of
Our Lady as the Holy Spirit performs His
art work of molding us more likened
to Jesus a greater image of Jesus and
Our Christ-life grows ever more full
as we dwell in Christ's unfathomless
love Being filled more and more
with Christ's life and greater, one, with
the Father
This is the place Jesus talked of in last
week's message when I was in Florida
May 4, 2011.
Presence knowing the Place
knowing the Presence of God in
our graced baptized soul
Knowing reality
That God truly loves us This is real
We were made for Him
We can fear
Fear of abandonment
Fear of not getting another's affections
Fear of not having enough being left out
For example a daughter may think having sibling rivalry
Fear as a child with brothers and sisters
"She was the favorite daughter"
"I was left out"
One may think, "I will serve you for affections"
They are starved for making affections
from others their ultimate goal
When we are serving others we do it because its
God's will not for vain glory
Jesus showed us he came to earth to
show us how He lived His vocation as
the Son of God
He lived to do the Father's will perfectly
Everything He did was in love
Everything He did was to serve the Father
perfectly
Jesus said:
I am the Way; I am Truth and Life.
No one can come to the Father
except through me.
If you know me,
you will know my Father too.
From this moment you know him
and have seen him. John 14: 6-7
Jesus speaks:
Life is not life if it is not rooted in Me
Those who know My love come from
a place of giving love
not morbidly seeking love and affection
for themselves from their fellows
Dwelling in My Heart
Your little heaven on earth
The love never runs out
I fill you with My love
The perfect shoe in the perfect shoe box
Not a mountain climber shoe in a glass slipper box
It's not a good fit!!
Sing: The Summons
R. Will we really listen to the call of Jesus
Will we hear the call and respond
Call Response
God Our Father hear us please
We love You
We love Jesus
We love the Holy Spirit
Thank You for Your love
Our Lady of Fatima
St. Paul had 2 names
Paul Roman citizenship
Saul Jewish heritage
Paul wanted people who followed Christ and he would
throw them in jail
Anybody who followed the "way"
was following Christ
He would throw them in jail
Persecute them
Acts 9: 1-20
Meanwhile Saul was still breathing threats to slaughter the Lord's disciples. He went to the high priest and asked for letters addressed to the synagogues in Damascus, that would authorise him to arrest and take to Jerusalem any followers of the Way, men or women, that he might find.
It happened that while he was travelling to Damascus and approaching the city, suddenly a light from heaven shone all round him. He fell to the ground, and then he heard a voice saying, 'Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?' 'Who are you, Lord?' he asked, and the answer came, 'I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. Get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you are to do.' The men travelling with Saul stood there speechless, for though they heard the voice they could see no one. Saul got up from the ground, but when he opened his eyes he could see nothing at all, and they had to lead him into Damascus by the hand. For three days he was without his sight and took neither food nor drink.
There was a disciple in Damascus called Ananias, and he had a vision in which the Lord said to him, 'Ananias!' When he replied, 'Here I am, Lord,' the Lord said, 'Get up and go to Straight Street and ask at the house of Judas for someone called Saul, who comes from Tarsus. At this moment he is praying, and has seen a man called Ananias coming in and laying hands on him to give him back his sight.'
But in response, Ananias said, 'Lord, I have heard from many people about this man and all the harm he has been doing to your holy people in Jerusalem. He has come here with a warrant from the chief priests to arrest everybody who invokes your name.' The Lord replied, 'Go, for this man is my chosen instrument to bring my name before gentiles and kings and before the people of Israel; I myself will show him how much he must suffer for my name.' Then Ananias went. He entered the house, and laid his hands on Saul and said, 'Brother Saul, I have been sent by the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on your way here, so that you may recover your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.' It was as though scales fell away from his eyes and immediately he was able to see again. So he got up and was baptised, and after taking some food he regained his strength.
After he had spent only a few days with the disciples in Damascus, he began preaching in the synagogues, 'Jesus is the Son of God.'
"Saul, Saul why are you persecuting Me?"
"I am Jesus"
R. Saul couldn't see for 3 days
Ananias had to obey the Lord
even though he did not understand
Ananias put his hands and prayed
on Saul
and scales fell from Saul's eyes
The Holy Spirit was upon him
"Proclaim to all the nations,
the marvelous deeds of Lord"
"Proclaim to all the nations,
the marvelous deeds of Lord"
"Proclaim to all the nations,
the marvelous deeds of Lord"
St. Paul
St. Paul was a missionary
St. Paul wrote letters to Corinthians
wrote letters to Galatians
wrote letters to Ephesians
He wrote a lot of letters we read at Mass
Paul made a lot of changes
Paul worked on dietary changes for Jews
rules they stuck to
That was a big fight
what traditions they had to follow
and could do away with in
the early Church
Paul was led to Ananias
Ananias baptized Paul
Even though Paul had seen Jesus and
talked to Him
Paul had to be baptized
Baptism is so important
Jesus said "why are you persecuting Me?"
Jesus was so close to the disciples
Jesus said what you do to them
you are doing to Me
You, Paul, are persecuting Me
when you do it to those I sent
Paul was beheaded
One swoosh and the head is off
Crucifixion was so painful
So much pain
Arms outstretched
Have to push up with feet to
breath
So painful
They lingered and lingered
So when Christ died they
broke their legs so they
wouldn't linger sometimes
Baptism is important
How we treat each other is important
Jesus said that you have to
eat My flesh and drink My blood
So many turned away at this
But Jesus didn't go after them
We believe this is truly the Body and
Blood of Christ
Tomorrow's reading
they are leaving Jesus because
He told them they should
eat His Body and Blood
Jesus said to the disciples "Will you
leave?"
Peter said
"No, You have the words of
eternal life."
We are called by Jesus
Will we do it His way
Or will we rebel and fight His way
Sing: One bread, One Body
We are sisters and brothers
offering sacrifice to God
Sing:

Eucharist and
I LOVE YOU
Song: Your Presence Pervades My Soul
Come to me, my Jesus
I long for Your Presence
Come to me, My God
Oh Father I want that oneness
with God Father, Son and Holy Spirit
Jesus: I love you, I love you,
I love you
R. Let your heart burn with
the love of God
This is real
God loves us so much
Prayer for Union with Jesus
Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart.
I am Yours to possess. I am Yours to use. I want to be selfless and only exist in You. Help me to spoon out all that is me and be an empty vessel ready to be filled by You. Help me to die to myself and live only for You. Use me as You will. Let me never draw my attention back to myself. I only want to operate as You do, dwelling within me.
I am Yours, Lord. I want to have my life in You. I want to do the will of the Father. Give me the strength to put aside the world and let You operate my very being. Help me to act as You desire. Strengthen me against the distractions of the devil to take me from Your work.
When I worry, I have taken my focus off of You and placed it on myself. Help me not to give in to the promptings of others to change what in my heart You are making very clear to me. I worship You, I adore You and I love You. Come and dwell in me now.

middle-aged men the sin

old men the sin of avarice

Why is there a break in the

Sheen says
Judas was called to be
an Apostle and He
betrayed Our Lord
He refused to follow his
vocation as an Apostle
John 6: 67-71
Then Jesus said to the Twelve, What about you, do you want to go away too? Simon Peter answered, Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the message of eternal life, and we believe; we have come to know that you are the Holy One of God. Jesus replied to them, Did I not choose the Twelve of you? Yet one of you is a devil. He meant Judas son of Simon Iscariot, since this was the man, one of the Twelve, who was to betray him.

Sing: I Am the Bread of Life
John 6: 48-58
I am the bread of life.
Your fathers ate manna in the desert
and they are dead;
but this is the bread
which comes down from heaven,
so that a person may eat it and not die.
I am the living bread
which has come down from heaven.
Anyone who eats this bread
will live for ever;
and the bread that I shall give
is my flesh, for the life of the world.'Then the Jews started arguing among themselves, 'How can this man give us his flesh to eat?' Jesus replied to them:
In all truth I tell you,
if you do not eat
the flesh of the Son of man
and drink his blood,
you have no life in you.
Anyone who does eat my flesh
and drink my blood
has eternal life,
and I shall raise that person up
on the last day.
For my flesh is real food
and my blood is real drink.
Whoever eats my flesh
and drinks my blood
lives in me
and I live in that person.
As the living Father sent me
and I draw life from the Father,
so whoever eats me
will also draw life from me.
This is the bread
which has come down from heaven;
it is not like the bread our ancestors ate:
they are dead,
but anyone who eats this bread
will live for ever.
