Pray for Special Intentions
Consecration Prayer for Peace
I consecrate Russia and the Ukraine to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
I further consecrate the priests, the Church and the world to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary.
I do this in the name of Jesus in as far as I am able, united to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, praying to the Father, in the Holy Spirit, with all the angels and saints and the souls in purgatory through the powerful intercession of Mary, Queen of Peace. Amen.
I further consecrate myself, all members of my family and ask the Holy Spirit to fill us. I spread the Blood of Jesus on all above, I cast the devil into hell away from all of us and consecrate all persons, in as far as I am able, to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart.
Prayer for Grace for our Country
Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

Happy Birthday Fr. Mike
R. Oh God You are
the Light of the world.
Oh God You are the source of life.
Oh God, I LOVE YOU. Alleluia.
The Holy Spirit when He
gives us His
gifts infuses wisdom
and knowledge into our
intellect.
The fool says he is never
wrong, he sharpens
his deceit like a
trophy and holds out
to direct its evil –
Wisdom is not in him.
Dear God, Your love
prepares
us for life eternal –
We seek Your will in us –
You are our God –
We have a free will to be
loving to our all
worthy God or
We can use our free
will to make ourselves
our own god –
saying
"no one is over me"
"I want what I want
and I want it now"
self-worship
Free will is given to us
to
give honor and love to God –
to chose God as our God
and to obey His will for us.
Pride is a deadly sin, in
which a man puts
himself before God,
he can in fact
worship himself.
God gives us the rain and
the wind and the
beauties of the earth.
How beautiful is a soul –
that is filled with
God's grace –
So beautiful is a soul –
that is lighted with
God's grace and love –
Life is in Him.
The more one lives in
the deadly sins and
is full of loathing -
self – the harder
the heart becomes.
Cling to Me - May 13, 1993
Jesus: My dear child, if you stay close to Me, then I live in you and you live in Me. I am He Who created you and I love you with such an intensity that you will never know. My words are your truth. You must abide in My heart in all things. There is no room for doubt. My ways are steadfast, direct, and without error.
You must stay rooted in Me to ward off the power of the evil one. His grip is paralyzing and crippling. ...

Song: God's Love
Song: Why Do We Hurt the Ones We Love
Song: Glory, Glory, Glory Lord
From a Lenten Homily, March 24, 2000
Live in the Moment
Today’s Gospel in its story certainly points ahead to Jesus in His Passion and death. And as we read passages such as this during the Lenten season, we are reminded once again that the Church in her Liturgy of the Word gives us an opportunity to undergo a purification, an ever deepening cleansing of ourselves so that we may be a more fit instrument for receiving the great graces which are to be given to us at the time of the Resurrection memorial on Easter. And so all in all, Lent is a time of purification to prepare us for ever-greater gifts of the Lord. It’s a time of self-discipline, a time to renew our efforts to be self-disciplined in the service of the Lord. Self-discipline is an aspect of purification. And I suggest that one of the most difficult acts of self-discipline in the spiritual journey is to concentrate on the present moment. We have a very strong tendency to disregard the importance of the present moment by focusing in a wrong way on the past or in a wrong way on the future. There are proper occasions for thinking of the past and the future. For example, we have to learn from the past and we have to prepare for the future, but our great emphasis has to be upon the present. There is a Latin axiom which says, age quod agis, age quod agis, which means: do what you are doing, concentrate on the present. And of course we are familiar with that term in the history of spirituality: the sacrament of the present moment. And so the discipline of Lent certainly encourages us to include in a deeper self-discipline a greater determination to get as much as we can out of the present moment. People with a terminal illness have an opportunity as they prepare for death for increased prayer, contrition, love of God. However, some are taken very, very quickly. But for those who have the opportunity of knowing with some certainty the time of their death, I’m sure as they look back on their lives, they are saddened by the many times they did not use time and opportunities for the service of the Lord properly, and are overjoyed at those times in which they did use the present opportunity properly. A great means we have of living in the present properly is a greater focus upon our Lord. For if I have that awareness of the fact I am united with Jesus here and now, why should I be concerned so much about the future or the past? Yes, a great help in living in the present and deriving all the good we can from it for ourselves and others is an ever greater focus upon Jesus, because the more I focus upon Jesus and the more I live with Him in the present moment, the more I am satisfied with the present moment. And so let us in our Lenten activity resolve to grow in that self-discipline - which is very difficult at times - to really live in the presence with the fullness of our being as much as is possible, with the help of God’s grace. Now is the day of salvation. Now is the day of salvation. end of Father Carter's homily

Joyful Mysteries
The Annunciation
1. We see the Angel appearing to the Virgin Mary, Mary says yes to the Angel, Mary, perfect handmaid of Jesus, always complied to the will of the Heavenly Father.
Mary loved the Father so much as a little child, always wanting to please the Father.
2. We are His chosen ones, The Father created us with such love, each one of us individually, so precious to Him. The Father gave His Son that we could be saved and live with Him forever and ever in heaven.
3. Jesus: Let your hearts be soft and supple, My dear ones. Open wide your hearts and rid yourselves of all the distractions of this world. Be alone with Me. I am Jesus Christ, the Son of God. I am giving you great gifts here, abundant graces to understand more the mysteries of My life and that of My Mother. Open wide your heart and forget all that is holding you apart from Me and meditate on these mysteries of our lives.
4. Make a spiritual communion. Feel the presence of the Almighty God as you do when you receive holy communion. For when you are in the state of grace, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit dwell with in you in such a special way! You cannot imagine the beauty of a graced soul, a soul filled with My life. If I lifted the veil in this room, (before the exposed Eucharist in Church), You would fall on your faces from the vibrancy of the rays that would come from the consecrated host. My dear ones, you do not know the great gifts I am giving to you in this room.
5. Luke 1: 26-38In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a town in Galilee called Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man named Joseph, of the House of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary. He went in and said to her, ‘Rejoice, you who enjoy God’s favour! The Lord is with you.’ She was deeply disturbed by these words and asked herself what this greeting could mean, but the angel said to her, ‘Mary, do not be afraid; you have won God’s favour. Look! You are to conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you must name him Jesus. He will be great and will be called Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his ancestor David; he will rule over the House of Jacob for ever and his reign will have no end.’ Mary said to the angel, ‘But how can this come about, since I have no knowledge of man?’ The angel answered, ‘The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will cover you with its shadow. And so the child will be holy and will be called Son of God. And I tell you this too: your cousin Elizabeth also, in her old age, has conceived a son, and she whom people called barren is now in her sixth month, for nothing is impossible to God.’ Mary said, ‘You see before you the Lord’s servant, let it happen to me as you have said.’ And the angel left her.
6. There was always great intimacy between Jesus and His Mother. From the first moment of conception she felt the life of Jesus, Son of God, grow with in her womb.
7. The child Jesus is with us this day. He is in our brothers. He is in our children. If the child Jesus were here and we were to hold Him, to talk to and be with Him, we would treat Him with such joy and such kindness! Jesus is in our brothers. Jesus is in those we work with. Jesus is in our family. Jesus is in our children. What we do to others we do to Jesus.
8. Jesus is here this day. Do we treat our brothers, our children, one another, with the same kindness that we would treat the child Jesus.
9. The most Sacred Heart of the child Jesus was formed in Mary‘s womb. Jesus took on our human nature out of great love.
10. Mary: I am the perfect handmaid of Jesus. Jesus called handmaids and servants in the Shepherds of Christ to model their lives after Our lives.
R. Jesus and Mary are the new Adam and the new Eve.
Mary: Eve disobeyed God, Adam disobeyed God, they put themselves before God.
The Visitation
1. The angel Gabriel had told Mary that her cousin Elizabeth had conceived a child. Mary made haste to the hill country to visit her.
2. Upon Mary’s arrival at Elizabeth’s house, Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit and cried out with a loud voice. Luke 1:42. “of all women you are the most blessed, and blessed is the fruit of your womb.”
3. We receive so much love from God! The Father loved us so much that He sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might be saved. Jesus waits this very day for us to come and be with Him. It is out of great love that the master waits for us.
4. When Mary and Jesus arrived at Elizabeth’s house, the child in Elizabeth’s womb leapt for joy. John, who was to announce the good news that Jesus had come to this earth, even before His birth, leapt for joy in the womb of his mother at the presence of Jesus in Mary’s womb.
5. Mary was filled with the Holy Spirit and cried out, with a loud voice, her Magnificat. ”My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior!” Luke 1:46-47.
6. And Mary went to visit her cousin, Mary went as God lead her.
Mary always did the will of the Father. Mary shows us obedience.
7. Mary brings forth her children of light. As we give our hearts to Mary, we are brought forth children of the light. As we walk into the darkness, His light shines from us. To be a child of light, we must consecrate our heart to Mary. We must give ourselves as a child to Mary.
8. Many are filled with pride this day, for they do not feel they need their mother. But Christ showed us. Christ showed us the way, Christ came to this earth in the womb of the virgin Mary. We must be children of the Father as He intends us to be.
We must love our heavenly Mother Mary. It is the Father’s will. We must do as the Father intends us to do with our free will.
We can truly love God and obey Him, or make ourselves a god and disobey God, saying ”Don’t tell me what to do, I do what I want.“
9. And how are we shining in this world today? Are we The lights that are shining in the darkness? Does the light of Christ shine from us as we go to others, as we visit others? Is Christ alive in our hearts? Is Christ life and Christ light shining from our eyes? Are we acting as God intends us to act?
10. Jesus: My beloved ones, I am near. I am with you this day and My Mother is with you in a special way... Let go of all the cares in your heart, all the bitterness and come as a little child. At every moment, your life must be lived to please your heavenly Father. Your heart must be filled with love for your Mother. You are children of God. Mary is your Mother and God the Father is your father.
The Nativity
1. Look at how haughty we are. Look at how we act and then look, look to the child Jesus, orn in a stable in Bethlehem in such poverty. The Almighty God surrounded by beasts of the earth. He came into the world a little child. We are called to be children. We are called to be humble. Humility is truth, seeing the good and evil in us. Dying to the ways not like Jesus.
2. We are called to be loving, to put aside our haughtiness and our pride and to work as one. From what plan? To love God, to love one another and to help to save souls.
3. Mary told us exactly what we must do at Fatima. We are to consecrate our hearts to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary. We must pray the rosary, we must observe the first Saturday devotion, and make reparation to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary. It is through the consecration, it is in giving of our hearts to Jesus and Mary, that we will be brought forth as children of light.
4. Why do we pray this rosary meditating on the mysteries of the lives of Jesus and Mary? It is here in this rosary, yes we give our hearts to Mary and to Jesus, as we give our hearts that the Holy Spirit works with Mary’s heart and we receive lights, insights into understanding these mysteries of Christ. We pray the rosary and we understand more the life of Christ from the heart of Mary.
5. The Almighty God came, a little child conceived in the womb of the Virgin Mary. Jesus was a baby. The Almighty God was a baby. Why are we so haughty We are children of God. You must obey the heavenly Mother. We must obey the Father.
6. Jesus came into the world the light of the world. And the light shine in the darkness and the darkness cannot comprehend.
7. There are many this day that do not understand. It is because we have disobeyed our Mother Mary. The peace of the world has been entrusted to Mary.
8. We must go to Mary, Lady clothed as the sun. We must go to her heart Jesus said. Her heart is our spiritual womb.
It is there that the Holy Spirit will give to us His light.
9. The Holy Spirit wants to guide us that we will know God more deeply. The Holy Spirit will bring us forth children of the light.
10. We will bring the light of Christ to the world. Holy Spirit come work in us.
The Presentation
R. The child Jesus was taken to the Temple and presented to the Father.
R. Mary was told by Simeon of the sufferings to come. He said to Mary, "…and a sword will pierce your soul too." (Lk 2:35)
The Holy Spirit told Simeon that he would not die until He saw the child of God. The Holy Spirit led Him into the Temple. Jesus, Mary and Joseph came to the Temple and the old man was overjoyed at the sight of the child Jesus. He held Him with such joy in his arms and said that now he was ready to die for he had seen God.
R. Let our hearts be filled with the life of the Almighty God. May our hearts sing, for we are given great gifts. In this room today, the Almighty God is present. His Mother is with us, mothering us and loving us.
Holy Spirit, enkindle in us the fire of Your love so we may see more clearly Jesus Christ, Who is with us this very day. So that we may see that He is God and, out of great love for each one of us, remains with us, waits for us, longs for us, and wants us to open our hearts wide so that He may enter in. Remove the blinders from our eyes, dear Holy Spirit, and lead us ever closer to intimacy with Jesus Christ, our beloved Savior
Jesus: Satan aims to trip you up and stop you in your path. The Almighty God is speaking to you. What have you to fear? Father, Son and Holy Spirit live within your heart. If the world shakes and the sun ceases to shine, within your heart you can feel the presence of your Father, Son and Holy Spirit so close to you and loving you. Release all your anxieties and let Me bathe you in a bath of My love. I am Jesus, and I am outpouring to you My life.
Jesus: Come unto Me, My beloved ones. I want to hold you gently in My arms and press you close to My Heart. I am Jesus. I speak to you with tenderness and love. You do not hear the gentle words that I speak to you, for you are busy and your lives are noisy. Release yourselves and come away with Me for short moments all through the day. Feel the presence of the Almighty God as I live and dwell within your hearts. I love you. I love you. I love you. I give to you now My abundant life. I am strengthening you for the days ahead. You are My soldiers that I will send to light up the dark night.
R. The Presentation in the Temple is such an important mystery! Mary was told that a sword, too, would pierce her soul. All grace is released through Mary.
Mary, just as you presented the child Jesus in your arms in the temple, tuck us into the Heart of Jesus and present us to our loving Father so that we may be ever closer and closer to the Heart of Jesus and the Father. And lead us closer to your beloved Spouse, the Holy Spirit.
Holy Spirit, the more we unite with Mary, our mother, transform us more and more into the image of Jesus and lead us ever closer to the Father.
The Finding of the Child Jesus in the Temple
R. The child Jesus was taken up to the Temple for the feast of Passover. Mary's Heart ached constantly from the prophecy of Simeon. Feel in your heart as Mary felt. She knew ever since the prophecy of Simeon of the suffering to come. There was such a connection between Jesus and Mary, such intimacy between them! We see the Two Hearts beating within her body in the first two mysteries of the rosary. She provides life for Jesus through her milk in the third mystery. She comes to the Temple with the child Jesus in her arms and Simeon tells her of the sufferings to come. Now they take the child Jesus to the Temple. Jesus is separated from Mary and Joseph. Mary and Joseph go on their way and Jesus is left behind. When Mary realizes that the child Jesus was left behind, her Heart is in such sorrow! She returns to find the child Jesus.
When it was over, Mary and Joseph left Jerusalem but the child Jesus remained there.
R. Mary carried many things in her Heart. Few times we hear her speak. There was a secret between her and her Son all through Their lives.
R. A sword, too, shall pierce your Heart, O Mary. Our eternal life was merited by Christ's life and death on the cross. Water and blood poured forth from His pierced Heart. Life flows through Mary's pierced Heart to us for she is the Mediatrix of all graces. Our Mother, giving to us, dispensing to us this life. As she gave life to the physical body of Jesus, so she dispenses supernatural life to us.
R. We are being formed more and more in the spiritual womb of Mary, through the Holy Spirit, to be more and more like Jesus.
Mary: My dear little children, I am Mary, your Mother. I ask you to pray as you have never prayed before from your heart for all the little lost children in this world today. I stood under the cross and I watched my Son as He suffered and died. This day, my dear ones, many of my children will be lost forever, for their hearts are willful and they go about their lives in sin. Jesus loves each and every child. I am the Mother of each child. I love each one of my children, your brothers. Will you pray from your hearts, my dear children? Pray for all the little lost children of this world. I am Mary, your Mother, and I am asking you this day to hear my words. I speak to you with this urgent request to pray as you have never prayed before.
Mary: My Heart was in such sorrow for the loss of my child! My Heart is sorrowing for the loss of so many this day. My dear little children, pray. Offer your days, each day, to the Father in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, in the Spirit, with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory. Offer up all of your actions for the little children of this world who are suffering and in pain.
Dear Mary, if we ever lose our way from
the Most Sacred Heart of your Son, lead us back quickly.
Song: O burning Heart, O Love divine. How sweet You are to
me. I see the Host, I know You are here to love and care for me
Song: Give me Your Heart, O Jesus. Give me a heart like Yours. Teach me to love You with this new heart. Oh, I know little of how to love You. Create in me, O precious Savior, this loving heart!
Jesus: ...I am Jesus, your beloved Savior. I speak to you, My dear ones, with a soft and gentle Heart, always a Heart that is filled with such love! Come to Me and I will give to you all that you need. This world is hurting and in pain, and I am sending you into the world as My soldiers to light the darkness. My dear little ones, this world has turned godless. You must focus on the Almighty God. Do not let Satan talk in your minds to divide you. Do not harbor in your hearts any resentment or anger toward your brothers. Harboring this resentment and anger hurts your union with Me. Only a heart of love can properly unite with My Heart. I call you to holiness. I call you to open up your hearts and let Me enter. I will give to you My divine life and My divine love. I am Jesus. I talk to you gently and sweetly. Do you hear? It is in the quietness that you will hear My gentle voice. I am attentive to your every need, gently caring for each and every one of the tasks that you perform. I love you! I love you! I love you! Surrender, My dear ones, and know that I will never abandon you. I wait by the door of your heart. I wait, I wait, I wait. Will you open your heart and let Me in? Trade any bitterness for My divine love. I am Jesus, your beloved Savior. I gave My life for you. Will you love your hurting brothers for Me?

Guiding Light homily series — Reflect on the Word — Cycle B The Word leaves an impression on our souls. In my thoughts and reflections are born a more tangible understanding of these eternal concepts presented in the Gospels and the readings. Anyone can read a sentence, but not anyone can absorb it's true meaning. Truth, in this day and age, is almost a matter of opinion or individual entitlement. We believe that Christ's truth is our Roman Catholic Church. We, as priests, champion it's teachings; we are ambassadors for the Pope and Christ to those faces looking at us. We are the light by which our congregation reads to reflect upon real truth and we do it hand in hand. $10 |
Guiding Light homily series — Steadfast to the Son — Cycle A The sunflower is a great example of how we should be steadfastly guided by light. What a powerful thought that this exceptional plant is not stuck in one pose day in and day out, yet adaptable and magnetized to the sun. We feel the same about our Son. Our heads turns to face Christ as each day presents its challenges to find light. We join together like plants in a field and soak up the Son through the pulpit. We are a warm circle of strength using the wind of our breath to carry our priests' words, Christ's words, to new rich soil. $10 |
Guiding Light — Focusing on the Word — Cycle B At times we may feel that our path to Christ is a bit "out of focus". Like the disciples in the Book of Mark, this ordinary life clouds our vision of Christ's Divinity. We may doubt the practicality or possibility of applying His teachings and example to our modern life. Cycle B's homilies are a "guiding light" to help us realize Jesus' Messianic greatness and His promise of better things to come. $10 |
Guiding Light — Feed My Soul — Cycle C In a world rapidly advancing and encouraging personal gain, we are faced with modern problems. There is a challenge to find time in our busy schedules for Sunday Mass or a family meal. We are able to research, shop, bank and even work without hearing one human voice. It is no wonder that we may often feel disconnected and famished at our week's end. In Fr. Joe's third book of homilies from Cycle C, we are reminded of the charity that Christ intended us to show each other. We have a calling to turn the other cheek and be the Good Samaritan to others. We are rewarded with the Father's kingdom and love when we are not worthy. We are not left alone or hungry. $10 |
