Prayer for Grace for our Country
Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

R. Baptism takes away original sin but we have tendencies to the deadly sins because we are wounded by original sin.
We must admit our need to be healed from the wounds we’ve experienced.
We need to grow in the image of Jesus.
Sin wounds our souls. We must ask to be forgiven by God, with firm purpose of amendment and sorrow for sins, seeking forgiveness for sins. The devil wants us to lie to ourselves about our sins so we don’t repair the breach in our relationship with God caused by sin.
Christ shows us how He suffered wounds for our sins.
He suffered and died so we could have new life in baptism and be forgiven. To the degree in pride we hide our sins, we cannot heal.
God is perfect.
God created us in His image and likeness.
The scriptures in the Holy Spirit Novena give great insight into the goal of eternal life and life in Him.
Those who are wounded must seek to be healed - to open up to the Spirit of God operating in them.
In the scripture 1 John 4:17-21 it says anyone who says they love God and hates their brother is a liar.Hate and love do not co-exist.
Heaven is for lovers.
When the person refuses to admit the deadly sins - seeing others as enemies with pride, anger, jealousy, envy, this is disobedience to the law of love God commands of us.This comes from the woundedness of living habitually in the deadly sins without seeking the truth of the darkness of one's heart.
It becomes habitually, like a default way they feel familiar, comfortable, at home with.
God is love.
God is perfection.
Now listen to 1 John 4:17-21
Love comes to perfection in us when we face the Day of Judgement fearlessly …We have a choice.
Refusing to be accountable for our actions and responsible for sins,
settling in where the deadly sins are comfortable if we feel threatened or tempted by Satan, can lead to misery and self-destruction.I answer with this.
God is love.
God commands we love Him and our neighbor as ourselves.
God is all perfect.
Living with a default mechanism of habits of the deadly sins and lying about this is a path of deeper rooted darkness- that leads to greater pride, greater jealousy, greater envy and anger for the misery one is causing ones self.
God is perfect.
There is not a drop of hate in heaven. The goal of life here is to seek to be healed spiritually of woundedness to be ever more in the image of God and united most intimately to Him.
When one denies hatred toward their innocent brother because they are comfortable in isolation, loneliness, division and selfish-self absorption,
they are growing deeper and deeper into woundedness and imperfection,Further and further from God.
Pride can be their dial-in to force abuse, games, to force their evil ways if they use such retaliation.
It is self-destructive when Jesus paid such a price in His wounds so we can heal and be more in His image and likeness.
How can one barter with the one soul they have and disobey the commandment of love of God and others and self that God gives us in His law?
Judgment is “how did we love?”
"How did we obey God's will”?
Wounds need to be healed - hiding the truth life long in deeper deadly sins we enjoy with comfort asks the question
Are we on our knees asking God for His grace?
Or are we running back to the pleasure of liking our prideful, controlling ways, division, hate and competition toward our brothers,
which ultimately separates us from God and others.Satan is the Father of lies.
First to thine own self be true.
Denying wounds and bad habits of sin keep us more and more separated from God and others. The goal here is in knowing the life of Jesus.
He died for our sins.
It’s not whose right and whose wrong when we forgive. It’s forgiving the sin and loving the sinner.
Pope John Paul II showed us he forgave the man who shot him and tried to kill him.
Jesus took on our wounds and forgives us when we want to grow in holiness. The Spirit of God sets the captives free.
The Spirit of God is the Spirit of truth.
The devil is sneaky, liar, a cover-up.
The devil wants souls for hell.Christ opened His arms and gave His all on the cross for our sins.
Christ was wounded for our sins.Lying about tricks and sins is serving Satan.
Satan is a liar.
Anyone who doesn’t love his brother, but says he loves God is a Liar the scripture says. The Holy Spirit Novena is awesome.
The scriptures are a gift.
Read the scriptures.
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth!!!!
Isaiah 55: 9
For the heavens are as high above earth
as my ways are above your ways,
my thoughts above your thoughts.
R. Only one thing is important eternal salvation.
Sin takes us from eternal salvation.
God gives us His gifts free, but we must be open to receive the gift He is giving.
Closing ourselves down, like a mummy, collapsed in past wounds and sin is being closed.
How much water can you pour in a jar with the lid on?
Christ opened Himself and allowed Himself to be beaten, wounded, crowned with thorns and nailed to a cross to His death for our sins. When the deadly sins are the habits of one's life without accountability for living as if people are enemies to hate, one has shut down and caved in.
God wants hearts open in love where He can fill them with Himself and operate from them.
Hearts pure and holy like the perfect Hearts of love of Jesus and Mary, pure and perfect Hearts of love.
Open and pure!!!Sing: Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart.
Prayer for Union with Jesus
Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart.
I am Yours to possess. I am Yours to use. I want to be selfless and only exist in You. Help me to spoon out all that is me and be an empty vessel ready to be filled by You. Help me to die to myself and live only for You. Use me as You will. Let me never draw my attention back to myself. I only want to operate as You do, dwelling within me.
I am Yours, Lord. I want to have my life in You. I want to do the will of the Father. Give me the strength to put aside the world and let You operate my very being. Help me to act as You desire. Strengthen me against the distractions of the devil to take me from Your work.
When I worry, I have taken my focus off of You and placed it on myself. Help me not to give in to the promptings of others to change what in my heart You are making very clear to me. I worship You, I adore You and I love You. Come and dwell in me now.
-God's Blue Book, January 17, 1994
R. How can one be loved when they hide themselves and never share the real person honestly so they know others and are known and loved by others?
God intends us to share truthfully with Him, with significant others we trust.
We see the person at their core value as created by God and help them to die to evil damaging ways and grow like Jesus.
God is good - all the time
and Jesus died for our sins.Admit the truth and be set free.
Do not be afraid.
What is the meaning of life???
God knows our hearts trying to serve Him, when we are tired and God knows we’re not perfect.
We are hope for a troubled world.
The devil won’t give up.
He has nothing to lose - he is going to hell for eternity.
Thank You God for each other.
God calls us to love and live by His will.
We are wounded. Christ came to give us a sharing in His life in baptism.
We have a journey here with the goal of everlasting life in heaven.
We are here to pray to be healed of our wounds.
We were created in the image and likeness of Jesus.Be not afraid.
1 John 4: 17-21Love comes to its perfection in us when we can face the Day of Judgement fearlessly, because even in this world we have become as he is. In love there is no room for fear, but perfect love drives out fear, because fear implies punishment and no one who is afraid has come to perfection in love. Let us love, then, because he first loved us. Anyone who says 'I love God' and hates his brother, is a liar, since whoever does not love the brother whom he can see cannot love God whom he has not seen. Indeed this is the commandment we have received from him, that whoever loves God, must also love his brother.
R. God wants a world of love.
We are to be respectful, just, loving. We hear the voice of the Good Shepherd.
We lay down our lives for each other. We offer our lives in the Morning Offering united to the Mass, to the Father.
God is perfect - we live to grow more and more in His image and likeness.
God has all the power. He must be first.
We become caved-in when we live in selfishness, giving into the deadly sins.
Many men were martyred gave their lives dying for what was right.
Many priests give so much today for us.
Living in obedience under God's will, brings down blessings.
Glory be to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning is now and will be forever. Amen.Hope in darkness. The Christian is one who walks with Christ.
Priests are another Christ to us.
Sing: A Priest is a Gift from God
R. Be courageous for Christ.
Pope John Paul II said
Be not afraid.
Sing: Be Not Afraid

The world is to be based on love.
Spread the Good News.
Christ has died, Christ is risen, Christ will come again.
We must not deny the rights God gives to us, to men, to the unborn.
What is important is we go out and spread the Good News of Jesus Christ.Men and woman have been murdered in the name of God.
God is love.
Jesus sacrificed His Body and Blood for us. Jesus suffered and died for our sins.
Life is in Him.
We must work for a world of love. We must love God and others as ourselves. The devil is real. The devil is working hard in this world.
The devil tempts souls through the deadly sins.
We must pray for the priests, the Church and the world.
Jesus told Fr. Carter this 27 years ago.

R. Men must be treated with dignity.
God created us.
God created us in His image and likeness.
We offend God when we disrespect others with hatred and malice of intent. We pray for the Church all over the world and we pray for the whole world.
Empathy, love, kindness.
God commands us to love.
God is love.
We were created in God's image and likeness.Dignity - creatures of God.
What do men do for wrath and anger?
Children are our brothers and sisters.
We are to love one another like brothers and sisters. This is to be a world of love.
Let us pray the prayers Jesus gave Fr. Carter praying for the priest, the Church and the world.
Respect, dignity!!!
Human life is sacred.
God has given us the gift of life.
Life is a gift from God and man has dignity.
No one has the right to abuse others for their selfish lust for selfish-serving
Power.

R. Suffering can be redemptive.
Pope John Paul II was shot May 13, 1981.
On May 13, 1982 he met with his assailant and forgave him.
Forgiveness isn’t about whose right. Who is wrong?
Look at Jesus on the cross. Jesus was sinless, but He willingly suffered for our sins.
This is love.
Pope John Paul II showed us love.
When we forgive we are willing to let go of what was done to us.
This takes grace.
This takes wanting peace.
Have you heard to error is human - to forgive Divine.
Fr. Joe said once at Mass that people that are abused many times hold onto anger, nurse it, won’t let go.
Then he said anger is a deadly sin.
Yesterday I heard sin is seeking pleasure from evil.
Holding out in anger against an innocent other is sin.
Many times the person offending expects the person they offended to come and make up to them.
Will that happen if the person who needs to forgive won’t ever go out to the other and wants to nurse their lifelong wounds on a scapegoat?
Wounds need to be healed.
We see Jesus who forgives us
And died for our sins.
Who can have peace if both refuse to forgive?
God is the ultimate mystery.
God is love, light, giving.
We are here to grow to be likened to Christ.
Christ in us.
Without Jesus in our heart, our heart, I heard on EWTN yesterday is like a donut.

And they ran out of wine, since the wine provided for the feast had all been used, and the mother of Jesus said to him, ‘They have no wine.’ Jesus said, ‘Woman, what do you want from me? My hour has not come yet.’ His mother said to the servants, ‘Do whatever he tells you.’ There were six stone water jars standing there, meant for the ablutions that are customary among the Jews: each could hold twenty or thirty gallons. Jesus said to the servants, ‘Fill the jars with water,’ and they filled them to the brim. Then he said to them, ‘Draw some out now and take it to the president of the feast.’ They did this; the president tasted the water, and it had turned into wine. Having no idea where it came from—though the servants who had drawn the water knew—the president of the feast called the bridegroom and said, ‘Everyone serves good wine first and the worse wine when the guests are well wined; but you have kept the best wine till now.’

9) Excerpt from Response to God's Love by Fr. Edward Carter, S.J.
... In reference to Christianity, God himself is the ultimate mystery. Radically, God is completely other and transcendent, hidden from man in his inner life, unless he chooses to reveal himself. Let us briefly look at this inner life of God.
The Father, in a perfect act of self-expression, in a perfect act of knowing, generates his son. The Son, the Word, is, then, the immanent expression of God's fullness, the reflection of the Father. Likewise, from all eternity, the Father and the Son bring forth the Holy Spirit in a perfect act of loving.
At the destined moment in human history, God's self-expression, the Word, immersed himself into man's world. God's inner self-expression now had also become God's outer self-expression. Consequently, the mystery of God becomes the mystery of Christ. In Christ, God tells us about himself, about his inner life, about his plan of creation and redemption. He tells us how Father, Son, and Holy Spirit desire to dwell within us in the most intimate fashion, how they wish to share with us their own life through grace. All this he has accomplished and does accomplish through Christ.
10) The mountain air, the
beauty makes us look good!
The Transfiguration
1) Mark 9: 2-8
Six days later, Jesus took with him Peter and James and John and led them up a high mountain on their own by themselves. There in their presence he was transfigured: his clothes became brilliantly white, whiter than any earthly bleacher could make them. Elijah appeared to them with Moses; and they were talking to Jesus. Then Peter spoke to Jesus, ‘Rabbi,’ he said, ‘it is wonderful for us to be here; so let us make three shelters, one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.’ He did not know what to say; they were so frightened. And a cloud came, covering them in shadow; and from the cloud there came a voice, ‘This is my Son, the Beloved. Listen to him.’ Then suddenly, when they looked round, they saw no one with them any more but only Jesus.
2)
3) Voice of the Father was
heard."This is My beloved Son

2) A Prayer before the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass
Let me be a holy sacrifice and unite with God in the sacrament of His greatest love.
I want to be one in Him in this act of love, where He gives Himself to me and I give myself as a sacrifice to Him. Let me be a holy sacrifice as I become one with Him in this my act of greatest love to Him.
Let me unite with Him more, that I may more deeply love Him. May I help make reparation to His adorable Heart and the heart of His Mother, Mary. With greatest love, I offer myself to You and pray that You will accept my sacrifice of greatest love. I give myself to You and unite in Your gift of Yourself to me. Come and possess my soul.
Cleanse me, strengthen me, heal me. Dear Holy Spirit act in the heart of Mary to make me more and more like Jesus.
Father, I offer this my sacrifice, myself united to Jesus in the Holy Spirit to You. Help me to love God more deeply in this act of my greatest love.
Give me the grace to grow in my knowledge, love and service of You and for this to be my greatest participation in the Mass. Give me the greatest graces to love You so deeply in this Mass, You who are so worthy of my love.
-Mass Book, December 27, 1995
3) From the Mass Book
L
ET US LOVE THE TWO HEARTS OF JESUS AND MARYHE GAVE HIMSELF TO US ON THE CROSS. HE GIVES HIMSELF TO US IN THE EUCHARIST.
How great was the act of love, God gave to this world, when He gave Himself and died on the cross. He gives Himself to us this day in the Holy Eucharist.
The greatest commandment is that we must love God with our whole heart, our whole soul, and our whole being. This is a commandment. If we are to enter heaven, we must follow the commandments. They are commands given by God for us to follow.
The greatest act we can do on this earth is an act of loving God. The reason for our existence is to love God. In the sacrament of His greatest love, He gives Himself to us. This is an act of love on His part. We are called to respond by giving ourselves in love to Him.
This is the purpose of the Holy Eucharist: to unite in such oneness with our Holy, Loving God. Our all consuming passion should be that of loving God. How many go to the Eucharist with the sole purpose of giving great love to God? He wants us to love Him. He wants souls to tell Him how much they truly love Him. This is the most intimate act of love when Jesus gives Himself-Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity to man. If it is such an act of love, how are we receiving Him in Communion? We should beg God, in this most intimate union with Him, to help us to love Him with greatest love.
Jesus is a Person. He wants our love. The Holy Spirit wants such intimacy with us. Our Father wants us to love Him. In the Eucharist, we unite with God. In this intimate act of uniting with our beloved God, with Divinity, we must pour out our love to God. We must pour out our heart to the most adorable Heart of Jesus. Jesus is so unjustly treated by many of His beloved souls He loves so much. Let us help make reparation to the Almighty God by loving God with our whole heart, our whole soul, and our whole being in the sacrament of His greatest love. This is the Gift of Himself.
Think of how it is to love someone and give your all for that person, to pour out your heart to him or her and then be treated with coldness and neglect. It hurts our heart so much more when we deeply love someone to be rejected by that person. Jesus loves us with the deepest love. We cannot fully comprehend this love. Let us love Him with the deepest love. Let us love Mary and her Immaculate Heart. Let us love her as the Mother of God. Let us love her as the virgin who bore the Son of God. May we, in the reception of the Eucharist pour out our love to Him, to this adorable Heart. May we pour out our love to His Holy Mother.
Mary said at Fatima that Jesus wants His Heart venerated next to the heart of His Mother. Let us love these two Hearts as we receive the Sacrament of the Eucharist. Then we are so deeply united with God. We see Their two Hearts surrounded with thorns for the injustices against Their Hearts. Let us help make reparation daily as we receive Him in the Eucharist. This is a special time to help make reparation to Their wounded Hearts.
Let us remember how He poured His love out to us on the cross and how He pours out His love to us now when He gives us Himself in the Eucharist, the Eucharist which contains His Heart of burning love. His Heart was pierced with a lance. Her heart was invisibly pierced with a sword. As the wounds in Their Hearts are deep, so too is Their love so deep.
He does
not want "surface love". He wants hearts filled with deep
burning love.
4) Song: I Love You Jesus
5) From Blue Book II
I Love You
April 13, 1994
Words of
Jesus. Read before the Tabernacle.
Jesus: How, child, do I, Jesus, tell you I love you? You hold on to silly things when God is in your midst and is ardently loving you. I am Jesus Christ, the Son of God. I am writing to each precious child this day. I am on fire for love of you. I remain in the Eucharist to be with you with My ardent love. I did not want to leave My beloved ones at the Last Supper. I love you so, My dear and ardently loved children. I remain with you this day in the Blessed Sacrament, the same Jesus Who died a brutal death on the Cross.
Do you know I am truly present there? Do you know that God waits every day for you in the tabernacle? Do you comprehend even a minute amount of My love? You will never know of how I love you on earth.
I, Jesus, truly the Son of God, came to earth a man and suffered a brutal death for love of you. I love you so much! I remain with you this day. I long for your love. I want you to come and be with Me in front of the tabernacle. I wait, I yearn for you to come and whisper your love to Me. I am a person and I love you this day, with such an ardent on-fire love! No human could ever compare a speck to My love for you.
I wait, little ones, in the tabernacle. I wait for you to come and receive Me in Communion. I want you to want Me so much you cannot wait to come and receive Me. I want to be the love, the center of your life!
I am Jesus. I am the Son of God. I am writing to you this day. I want to possess your very soul and live in you. I have all you need, sweet ones. Oh, you are so blind! I long for your union with Me. I wrote the book of love. I instituted it, yet you go to the world for your love and do not even come to Me! Oh, I love you, little ones. Little ones, beloved of the Father, loved by the Holy Spirit, mothered by My very own mother! What more can I say? The rest is up to you!
I give you your will with such love and I want your love freely given. I am God. What do you think you could ever need that I do not give you? I am the Savior of this world. I am Jesus, the Son of God. I am waiting for you. I am longing for you. I am yearning for you. I am God. I have all you ever will need!
Surrender this life to Me. Pray My Prayer for Union with Me. I want to possess your soul and operate from your very being. I am Jesus. I am the Son of God. I am the Sacred Heart of Jesus. I am Who am. I died and rose on the third day.
Harken to My call, harken to My pleading. Spend your days in love with Me. Nothing matters unless it is rooted in Me and rooted in My love. I am the Son of God. I am the Sacred Heart of Jesus. I love you with the tenderest love. I am waiting this day for just you, My beloved one. Come to Me for I am the tenderest of all hearts. I am the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

8) A Prayer for Intimacy with the Lamb, the Bridegroom of the Soul
Oh Lamb of God, Who take away the sins of the world, come and act on my soul most intimately. I surrender myself, as I ask for the grace to let go, to just be as I exist in You and You act most intimately on my soul. You are the Initiator. I am the soul waiting Your favors as You act in me. I love You. I adore You. I worship You. Come and possess my soul with Your Divine Grace, as I experience You most intimately.
9) John 11: 37-38
But there were some who remarked, ‘He opened the eyes of the blind man. Could he not have prevented this man’s death?’ Sighing again, Jesus reached the tomb: it was a cave with a stone to close the opening.

Guiding Light homily series — Reflect on the Word — Cycle B The Word leaves an impression on our souls. In my thoughts and reflections are born a more tangible understanding of these eternal concepts presented in the Gospels and the readings. Anyone can read a sentence, but not anyone can absorb it's true meaning. Truth, in this day and age, is almost a matter of opinion or individual entitlement. We believe that Christ's truth is our Roman Catholic Church. We, as priests, champion it's teachings; we are ambassadors for the Pope and Christ to those faces looking at us. We are the light by which our congregation reads to reflect upon real truth and we do it hand in hand. $10 |
Guiding Light homily series — Steadfast to the Son — Cycle A The sunflower is a great example of how we should be steadfastly guided by light. What a powerful thought that this exceptional plant is not stuck in one pose day in and day out, yet adaptable and magnetized to the sun. We feel the same about our Son. Our heads turns to face Christ as each day presents its challenges to find light. We join together like plants in a field and soak up the Son through the pulpit. We are a warm circle of strength using the wind of our breath to carry our priests' words, Christ's words, to new rich soil. $10 |
Guiding Light — Focusing on the Word — Cycle B At times we may feel that our path to Christ is a bit "out of focus". Like the disciples in the Book of Mark, this ordinary life clouds our vision of Christ's Divinity. We may doubt the practicality or possibility of applying His teachings and example to our modern life. Cycle B's homilies are a "guiding light" to help us realize Jesus' Messianic greatness and His promise of better things to come. $10 |
Guiding Light — Feed My Soul — Cycle C In a world rapidly advancing and encouraging personal gain, we are faced with modern problems. There is a challenge to find time in our busy schedules for Sunday Mass or a family meal. We are able to research, shop, bank and even work without hearing one human voice. It is no wonder that we may often feel disconnected and famished at our week's end. In Fr. Joe's third book of homilies from Cycle C, we are reminded of the charity that Christ intended us to show each other. We have a calling to turn the other cheek and be the Good Samaritan to others. We are rewarded with the Father's kingdom and love when we are not worthy. We are not left alone or hungry. $10 |
