A Prayer for Intimacy with the Lamb
the Bridegroom of the soul

    Oh Lamb of God, Who take away the sins of the world, come and act on my soul most intimately. I surrender myself, as I ask for the grace to let go, to just be as I exist in You and You act most intimately on my soul. You are the Initiator. I am the soul waiting Your favors as You act in me. I love You. I adore You. I worship You. Come and possess my soul with Your Divine Grace, as I experience You most intimately.

Messenger:             What you do in one setting
                            in dealing with problems —
                            may not be acceptable in
                            another setting.

                                Our life is a mixture of
                            being related to God, working
                            in ourselves and working in
                            relationship with others.

                                We establish boundaries
                            with others. We interact with others.
                            We check our actions out with others.
                            We work in connection.

                                Our center is connected to
                            Jesus. Our motor force is to
                            be all actions done for His honor
                            and glory.

                                Some do their actions for their
                            own honor and glory.

                                Jesus was selfless; He gave
                            Himself to His death on the cross.
                            He gave Himself in obedience
                            to the Father. He glorified the
                            Father in this action of giving
                            Himself.

                                He showed us the way
                            in perfect peace. He walked the earth
                            obedient always to the Father's wishes.

                                So many today leave God out of 
                            their thoughts. They operate
                            without any concern for Him.

                                Our work here is to give glory to
                            God.

                                We see His glory in His handiwork.
                            We see His gifts in our lives.

                                We operate to honor God, to love
                            Him, to give ourselves as a sacrifice
                            for Him.

                                How can a branch live separated
                            from the vine? How can a baby forming
                            in the womb of its mother live
                            if jerked from the womb in the
                            early stages of pregnancy?

                                Life flows from God.

                                God uses the mother to give life
                            to the baby.

                                The baby began through an act of
                            the mother with the father.

                                Life goes on with the blood in our veins
                            from the pumping heart, and we need
                            fresh air to breathe.

                                Jesus came to this earth and His
                            Heart beats in love for us. The Holy
                            Spirit breathes life in our soul,
                            God the Father created us.

                                The Divine God loves us His creatures.
                            He created us to give honor to Him and
                            to love Him, but what is love if it
                            is not freely given. He gave us a free will. And
                            as a reward for loving and serving Him
                            we will be with Him for all eternity.

                                I am so united with God.
                            His presence pervades my soul.
                            When I receive Him in the Holy Eucharist
                            He comes and dwells in me in His
                            Divinity and Humanity.

                                People believe things within themselves.
                            They believe things as truth, it may
                            seem to be truth to them, but is not
                            truth at all.

                                We know Jesus is the truth.
                                Jesus is the way, the truth and the
                            life.

                                Jesus teaches us His Word.
                                Jesus gives us His Word to follow.
                                Jesus is the Light.

                                The light was dimmed for man after
                            the fall of Adam.

                                We seek the truth in Jesus.
                                We follow Him.
                                We live by His Word.
                                We are sons and daughters of the Father.
                                Mary is our spiritual Mother.

                                May the spirit within us always be
                            in the true Spirit and be connected to
                            Jesus — He is the vine — we are the
                            branches.

                                He gives life to us.

                                He is the gift given to us from
                            the Father. He gives Himself to us in
                            the Holy Eucharist.

                                He outpours His Life.
