Jesus: I call you to holiness.
I call you to love –
I call you to the table of the Lord, I love
you so much I give you the Eucharist.
I am God.
I call you to love –
You, many of you, are seeking happiness
in things below you.
You can focus on your ambitions, pleasures,
money, clothes, sex, men's approval,
power, affection, wealth.
I call you to lift your minds and hearts to God.
I give you so many gifts in baptism –
I give you a sharing in My life –
Your knowing and loving capacity is elevated
in baptism –
You partake in God's knowing and loving
activity –
I am the way, the truth and the life –
Some lie for their ambitions rooted in
wealth, power, affections and
not focused in God, but the things
of the world, affections for passions.
Why would you reduce yourself to lies
for your affections –
God is truth!
Who is first in your life?
What is your gods?
Are you unfaithful to God by putting
your passions first above God?
Infidelity to God?
Faith is necessary to see with the
eyes of God –
R. Say Holy Spirit Novena
before you read this –
Jesus said to read Romans Chapter 4 and 5.
Christ came and He suffered the worst death –
We have to die,
We have to die like Him
Christ came and He lived, He died and He
rose on the 3rd day.
Christ suffered the worst death –
We too must die.
Romans 5: 12-14
Well then; it was through one man that sin came into the world, and through sin death, and thus death has spread through the whole human race because everyone has sinned. Sin already existed in the world before there was any law, even though sin is not reckoned when there is no law. Nonetheless death reigned over all from Adam to Moses, even over those whose sin was not the breaking of a commandment, as Adam's was. He prefigured the One who was to come . . .
Romans 5: 19-21
Just as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by one man’s obedience are many to be made upright. When law came on the scene, it was to multiply the offences. But however much sin increased, grace was always greater; so that as sin’s reign brought death, so grace was to rule through saving justice that leads to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 6: 1-11
What should we say then? Should we remain in sin so that grace may be given the more fully? Out of the question! We have died to sin; how could we go on living in it? You cannot have forgotten that all of us, when we were baptised into Christ Jesus, were baptised into his death. So by our baptism into his death we were buried with him, so that as Christ was raised from the dead by the Father’s glorious power, we too should begin living a new life. If we have been joined to him by dying a death like his, so we shall be by a resurrection like his: realising that our former self was crucified with him, so that the self which belonged to sin should be destroyed and we should be freed from the slavery of sin. Someone who has died, of course, no longer has to answer for sin.
But we believe that, if we died with Christ, then we shall live with him too. We know that Christ has been raised from the dead and will never die again. Death has no power over him any more. For by dying, he is dead to sin once and for all, and now the life that he lives is life with God. In the same way, you must see yourselves as being dead to sin but alive for God in Christ Jesus.
Romans 8: 31-39
After saying this, what can we add? If God is for us, who can be against us? Since he did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for the sake of all of us, then can we not expect that with him he will freely give us all his gifts? Who can bring any accusation against those that God has chosen? When God grants saving justice who can condemn? Are we not sure that it is Christ Jesus, who died — yes and more, who was raised from the dead and is at God's right hand — and who is adding his plea for us? Can anything cut us off from the love of Christ-can hardships or distress, or persecution, or lack of food and clothing, or threats or violence; as scripture says:
For your sake we are being massacred
all day long,
treated as sheep to be slaughtered? No; we come through all these things triumphantly victorious, by the power of him who loved us. For I am certain of this: neither death nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nothing already in existence and nothing still to come, nor any power, nor the heights nor the depths, nor any created thing whatever, will be able to come between us and the love of God, known to us in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Our whole life should be to
Witness to the truth of God we know –
Christ witnessed to the Father,
a perfect manifestation of
the Father's Truth and Love –
As members of the mystical body
of Christ we are to witness
to this truth and love our whole life.
We are to re-live the mysteries of
Christ's life –
We are to be united to the Mass –
We are to live the Pascal Mystery
of Death/Resurrection –
We are to die to our self-will and
live a newness of life in
living and loving the Father's will.
Christ's entire life is summed up in
His Death/Resurrection – so are the members
of His mystical body.
Death to self-will!
We lovingly conform to the Father's
will –
We desire a deeper life in Him –
always – living the life of
resurrection – a greater share
in Christ's life –
We are to re-live Christ's entire
life in our life –
centered in Death/Resurrection.
St. Ignatius teaches us in the Spiritual
Exercises –
Jesus and Mary have taught us this in the
Blue Books, living the Mysteries
of the Rosary in our lives.
The two: Saint Ignatius Spiritual Exercises
and the Mysteries of Christ's life
in the Rosary, are the same
mysteries –
We as Christians are to live out
these mysteries – these make
up one mystery –
the Mystery of Christ –
that vision I had –
Excerpt from Blue Book 7
May 25, 1995 - Ascension Thursday
The Christ Event
At Mass that day, I had a revelation of Jesus in so many mysteries, His Ascension, His birth, and so forth, and how I know Him now. It was as if my whole relationship was one with His whole life, I knew Jesus. In that I knew Him in His birth, the Eucharist, as my Bridegroom. In such experiences it is the fullness of His life I experience, the depth of the mystery.R.
R.
On Ascension Thursday 1995, I had such a deep experience at Mass. I saw Him ascending into heaven. I saw before me Jesus. I had deep insight into the Mystery of Christ. I knew Him in my deep intimate union I experience in the Eucharist, I knew Him so deeply in the Divine Mysteries. I knew Him so deep in my soul.I will never forget the deep and vivid vision I had of Him ascending into heaven, it is planted most deeply on my soul. He was clothed in a red tunic and a white gown. His hands were extended upward and there were rays of light coming down from above in the form of an upside down funnel (little end up). He was up a little from the bottom wide side, then I saw Him going upward. He ascended upward. The rays of light were bright and beautiful.
I was in a very deep state of ecstasy. When I left Fr. Carter’s Jesuit house I could hardly walk. The mud looked so dirty and the trees so plain. It was hard to go from this experience to the world outside. I saw this vision and was taken so deeply into this experience and then I saw the world as it was. It was such a let down.
This was May 25, 1995, but I remember it all so vividly and I see the vision clearly as I saw it that day. Whenever I meditate on the ascension I can see this vision. It fills my heart with joy.
May 25, 1995—I left Church and was in such a weakened state. When I got home I experienced deeper and deeper revelations. I was made so aware that the Father would answer my prayers. Here is the writing I received.
Then I went into an ecstatic experience and terrible suffering and I heard Jesus call out. I am alive, I am alive, I am alive. Here is the message I received that day It was very strong and for days afterwards I just wanted to cry from the experience of hearing Him shout this out.

R. God has called us in our vocation to
do this – to live our lives
in a different manner –
How are we, particularly called,
to put on Christ according
to our vocation –
We go to the Mass, we are one in
the Mass, we live the Mass
in our lives, but we each
live according to our particular vocation.
We are to grow in our vocation to a
Christ - likeness –
God has a plan for each Christian,
we are to see our lives in helping
in the work of redemption –
Seeing how Jesus called us in
this message given to us
in the Shepherds of Christ
to pray for the priests, the
Church and the world.
July 31, 1994
Words of Jesus to Members of
Shepherds of Christ Associates:"My beloved priest-companion, I intend to use the priestly newsletter, Shepherds of Christ, and the movement, Shepherds of Christ Associates, in a powerful way for the renewal of My Church and the world.
"I will use the newsletter and the chapters of Shepherds of Christ Associates as a powerful instrument for spreading devotion to My Heart and My Mother's Heart.
"I am calling many to become members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. To all of them I will give great blessings. I will use them as instruments to help bring about the triumph of the Immaculate Heart and the reign of My Sacred Heart. I will give great graces to the members of Shepherds of Christ Associates. I will call them to be deeply united to My Heart and to Mary's Heart as I lead them ever closer to My Father in the Holy Spirit."
- Message from Jesus to Father Edward J. Carter, S.J., Founder, as given on July 31, 1994,
feast of Saint Ignatius Loyola, Founder of the Society of Jesus (The Jesuits)
R. We are called to help in the work of
redemption –
to live to help the individual
Christian, the Church and the
world to put on Christ –
to be in that image of Christ!
This deep desire is in us – to see
the individual Christian, the
Church and the world to be in
this state of becoming more and
more in the image of Christ –
We are to be united to the Mass –
Live the Mass in our lives –
Christ has given us the Morning
Offering, Prayer before Mass –
these Shepherds of Christ Prayers to
say daily
Excerpt from
Response in Christ - Chapter 4 by Fr. Edward J. Carter, S.J.In schematic outline we have discussed the manner in which the baptized Christian extends his Mass to his daily existence. As he so lives out his Mass, he is becoming more Christlike. He becomes a more perfect priest and victim for his next participation in the eucharistic sacrifice.
42 The beautiful cycle which the Mass contains lies exposed before us. As part of this cycle the Christian is intimately involved in the process of continued redemption. The Mass is the center of the Christian life: “. . . the liturgy is the summit toward which the activity of the Church is directed; at the same time it is the fount from which all her power flows.” 4342. For a current treatment of the varied richness of the Eucharist, cf. J. Wicks, “The Movement of Eucharistic Theology” in

Thoughts on the Eucharist
Our personal relationship with Christ is characterized by the realization of the great, personal love of His Heart for each of us and of our need to love Him in return. The chief source for growth in the personal relationship with Jesus is the Eucharist. The Catechism tells us: "The Eucharist is 'the source and summit of the Christian life.' The other sacraments, and indeed all ecclesiastical ministries and work of the apostolate, are bound up with the Eucharist and are oriented toward it. For in the blessed Eucharist is contained the whole good of the Church, namely Christ himself, Our Pasch."5
