May 23rd Holy Spirit Novena
Scripture selection is
Day 2 Period II.

The Novena Rosary Mysteries
for May 23rd are Joyful.

Pray for Special Intentions

Consecration Prayer for Peace

I consecrate Russia and the Ukraine to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

I further consecrate the priests, the Church and the world to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary.

I do this in the name of Jesus in as far as I am able, united to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, praying to the Father, in the Holy Spirit, with all the angels and saints and the souls in purgatory through the powerful intercession of Mary, Queen of Peace. Amen.

I further consecrate myself, all members of my family and ask the Holy Spirit to fill us. I spread the Blood of Jesus on all above, I cast the devil into hell away from all of us and consecrate all persons, in as far as I am able,  to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart.

Prayer for Grace for our Country

Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united to the Mass. We unite in one mind and one heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the Name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president and leaders. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants.

R. I love the Eucharist so much, it is everything, everything to me.
Jesus I love You.
Jesus I love the Eucharist.
Oh God, St. Rita had a thorn in her forehead, and like all the saints, she suffered for You.

You were all that mattered to her, but Rita suffered.
St. Margaret Mary had St. Columbiere,
I had Fr. Carter to help me.
God gives, but we must receive.
A hard heart that is bolted, shut and full of darkness, does not receive.
It bounces off like a corpus.
Now I ask you, how dead is a corpus because mortal sin drives the grace from the soul.
And lying about your sins make rocks more rocky - unable to receive.

It’s like a ball game and 2 players -
Jesus throws the ball.
The sinner dead in sin can be like a corpus in the spiritual life.
But a man with the living God receives God's pitch and reflects the living God within.
It’s all choice on our part.
Jesus suffered so much for our sins and the Mass is the sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, but a dead corpus cannot receive.
God is absolute truth - lying to yourself what’s right is wrong and wrong is right is a lie.
And living in lies to make yourself right when you sin, making up a story to convince yourself wrong is right is fiction not truth.
And God does not unite with lies, ever, even little white lies you’ve been telling yourself for 60 years.
Satan comes in those lies, mortal sin deadens the soul and if you're not sorry for sin with a firm purpose of amendment you stay in that deadened state in your soul with no life.
God is the living God - He comes in the graced, baptized soul.
Lying to yourself about sin, just makes you deeper in sin - even when it’s a good story to cover things up.
It’s still a lie.
The devil makes right - wrong
and wrong - right.

God cannot deceive nor can He be deceived.

To live to deceive others is to be not likened to God - unGodly.

            R. All we possess comes to
                us from God, originally.

            Men unite to the Mass
                because it is the
                sacrifice of Calvary
                sacramentally made
                present.

Man is to worship God –
God is to be first in
                our lives.

            The priest must be there
                for the Mass.

            Everything we have in our
                lives is a gift.

            People that are loving and
                kind and called by
                God are a gift.

God is all good and God
                is good to us.

            Thank You God for Your
                love given to me this
                day through others.

            Thank You God.

            Thank You God.

            Thank You God.

            What about the great love
                that the true witnesses
                pour out into the world
                today –

            This 6th Sunday of Easter

'Peace' is my farewell to you,
My peace is My gift to you.

            Peace is the tranquility of
                order, St. Augustine says.

            When we accept the order
                God has established –
                there is peace.

            We have been called to
                spread this devotion
of the Two Hearts in the
                Shepherds of Christ for
                the Reign of Peace.

            When God's order is not
                respected, trouble comes.
                This discord can be world-wide.
                This is from the disorder
                    that comes from
                    disobeying God.
                    Then disharmony comes.

                LACK of order
                    lack of peace.

            Families are to be harmonious.
God put us in families to
                    know love and feel secure.

When a person does not live
                according to God's will
there is a lack of peace.

Fr. Carter says peace will be
                in proportion to how you
                obey God's will.

            This peace will be according
                to how we assimilate
                God's will in our lives.

In the way we grow in
                peace we contribute to
                the harmonious union
                of peace in the human
                family.

Sing song: Let There be Peace on Earth

God commands we love God and
                love our neighbor.

We are to have a beautiful,
                harmonious tapestry of
                our lives.

            As we lose perspective
                of this we lose peace
                and contribute to the
                loss of peace in our
                lives.

We must live in the order
                God intends or
                our lives cannot be
                what God intends for
                us.

Jesus came to bring us peace.

            Jesus said –
Peace is My farewell to you –
My peace My gift to you.

Glorious Mysteries in Thanksgiving

            The Resurrection

            1. God wants us with Him in heaven
                seeing the beatific vision –
                Christ paid such a price
                for this.

            2. Jesus died and Jesus rose on
the 3rd day. God wants us
                to mature spiritually –
die to our sins and rise
                in Him.

            3. God gives us spiritual food in
                the Eucharist.
Man has a free will to fall
                    from grace to sin.

            4. Many men lose their
                souls because they
                will not seek forgiveness
                from God for their
                mortal sins.

            5. God gives us the sacrament
                of penance for our
                sins after our baptism.

                The sinner must seek
                    to be forgiven from
                    their sins.
                They are to have sorrow
                    for their sins –
                There is contrition,
                    confession and
                    satisfaction for sin.

            6. A man has to hate his
                past sins and
                admits he has
                offended God.

            7. The sinner does not want
                the pains of hell.

            8. God is all loving –
                God is all merciful –
Obedience to God is His due.

            9. He is so sorry for sinning
                    and offending God
                    through disobedience.

            10. A pertinent sinner does
                not want to do anything
                contrary to God's love.

The sinner is to make a
                    firm purpose of
                    amendment.
                No one has a license
                    to sin.
                A sinner must be
                truly sorry for their sins.

            The Ascension

            1. Luke 24:50-53

Then he took them out as far as the outskirts of Bethany, and raising his hands he blessed them. Now as he blessed them, he withdrew from them and was carried up to heaven. They worshipped him and then went back to Jerusalem full of joy; and they were continually in the Temple praising God.

            2. Confession has such power.

Act of Contrition

O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee, and I detest all my sins, because I dread the loss of Heaven and the pains of Hell, but most of all because they offend Thee, my God, Who art all-good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help of Thy grace to confess my sins, to do penance and to amend my life. Amen.

            3. The sinner must have
                sorrow for their sins
                to be forgiven.

                Sin is an offense against
                    a good God.

            4. We are to confess mortal
                    sins to the priest in
                    confession.

            5. Life is a journey –
                when we die we
                will be judged.

            6. Christ reigns over creation.
"He has put all things under his
                feet..."
Ephesians 1: 17-23

            7. The world belongs to
                Christ.

                We are called to be
                    lights to the world –
                    to witness before
                    our God.

            8. It is our duty as Christians
                to be Christ-like –
                to continue the message
                of Jesus.

            9. The world God gives us is
                tremendously beautiful –
                full of awesomeness.
We should be so sad for
                    the world's sinfulness.

            10. The goodness of Jesus is to
                be reflected in men's
lives. Heaven is to be our
eternal home, it is God's plan.

The Descent of the Holy Spirit

            1. Acts 2: 1-4

When Pentecost day came round, they had all met together, when suddenly there came from heaven a sound as of a violent wind which filled the entire house in which they were sitting; and there appeared to them tongues as of fire; these separated and came to rest on the head of each of them. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak different languages as the Spirit gave them power to express themselves.

            2. A Christian sees Christ at the
                Center of their life.
                It is a privilege and
                a responsibility to work
                toward this Christic
                image in the world.
                The world belongs to Christ.

            3. A person rooted in truth
                does not lie to themselves
                to make themselves
                never wrong.

            4. God the Father created us
                with a plan –
                We are to know ourselves,
                    the good and evil in
                    us this is humility.

            5. We must live by the truth
                to be intimately united
                to Jesus.
God wants to possess our soul.

            6. A Prayer for Union with Jesus

Come to me, Lord, and possess my soul. Come into my heart and permeate my soul. Help me to sit in silence with You and let You work in my heart.

I am Yours to possess. I am Yours to use. I want to be selfless and only exist in You. Help me to spoon out all that is me and be an empty vessel ready to be filled by You. Help me to die to myself and live only for You. Use me as You will. Let me never draw my attention back to myself. I only want to operate as You do, dwelling within me.

I am Yours, Lord. I want to have my life in You. I want to do the will of the Father. Give me the strength to put aside the world and let You operate my very being. Help me to act as You desire. Strengthen me against the distractions of the devil to take me from Your work.

When I worry, I have taken my focus off of You and placed it on myself. Help me not to give in to the promptings of others to change what in my heart You are making very clear to me. I worship You, I adore You and I love You. Come and dwell in me now.

-God's Blue Book, January 17, 1994

            7. A person that makes up lies
                to see things so they
                are never wrong
                cannot be in intimate
                union with Jesus, who
                is absolute truth.

            8. The Father's gaze is always
on us – seeing how we
                live to serve Him and
                His plan and admitting
                our sins and asking for
                forgiveness and mercy.

            9. How can the light be in a soul
                that lies to make up
                things so they are never
                wrong.

                Be perfect as your heavenly
                    Father is perfect.

            10. God wants intimate deep
                love with us –
                this only comes in
                purity and flushing
                out sin and
                defects in our character.

            The Assumption

            1. Mary: I am Queen of Peace –
                I appear to bring the
                peace that comes in
                order in God and
                truth in living in
                truth –

            2. Mary: Some lie and refuse
                correction - making themselves
right when they sin – such
                lies cannot unite in
                intimacy with God –
                God wants deep love –
                    deep love – being
                    with God in His
                    presence.

            3. Song: His Presence Pervades My Soul

            4. God wants this intimate,
                pure, truthful deep
                love –
                This love brings JOY.

            5. God is all good, rich in
                love and mercy.
                Jesus wants oneness
"I do not pray for them alone,
I pray also for those who
                will believe in Me
                through their word,
                that all may be one."

            6. Mary: God created man to love –
to live as a social creature –
a person that lies to themselves
                about their distorted ways
                to prove they are right
                is living a farce.

I cry blood for such deception
                    of some religious who
                    see themselves as
                    an example to be
                    followed when their
                    ways are not like
                    God.

            7. Mary: Satan is the Father of lies –
                Satan is real!!

            8. Mary: Love is the only way –
                truth and order as
                God the Father desires –
                living by the heavenly
                Father's plan.

            9. Mary: I am Mother of the Church,
                nuns and priests are to
                    be examples of truth
                    and love and holiness –
                    Social and giving one
                    self for others in
                    kindness and love in their
                    hearts.
                    Reflecting God's love –

            10. Mary: You are to make the
                Church more and more
                in the image of Jesus,
                by being reflections
                of Christ in your
                holy hearts. Witnesses
                going out before men –

Mary is Crowned Queen of Heaven and Earth

            1. Sing: Immaculate Mary

            2. Sing: Hail Holy Queen

            3. Mary: Jesus wants these ministries
in the Shepherds of Christ –
I cry blood for the disobedience
                    of those worshipping
                    themselves.

            4. Mary: I am a messenger
                from God the Father.

            5. From Tell My People by Fr. Edward J. Carter, S.J.

The Holy Spirit

Jesus: "My beloved friend, tell My people to pray daily to the Holy Spirit. They are to pray for an increase in His gifts. My people must realize that the Holy Spirit comes to transform them. The Spirit desires to transform you more and more according to My image. Those who are docile to His touch become increasingly shaped in My likeness. He performs this marvel within Mary's Immaculate Heart. The more one dwells in My Mother's Heart, the more active are the workings of the Spirit. The Spirit leads Mary to place you within My own Heart. In both Our Hearts, then, your transformation continues. The more you are formed after My own Heart, the more I lead you to the bosom of My Father. Tell My people all this. Tell them to pray daily for a greater appreciation of these wondrous gifts. I am Lord and Master. All who come to My Heart will be on fire to receive the gifts of the Spirit in ever greater measure! I love and bless My people!"

Reflection: The Holy Spirit is given to us to fashion us ever more according to the likeness of Jesus. And the more we are like Jesus, the more Jesus leads us to the Father. Do we, each day, pray to the Holy Spirit to be more open to His transforming influence? Do we strive each day to grow in union with Mary? The greater our union with our Mother, the spouse of the Holy Spirit, the greater is the transforming action of the Holy Spirit within us.

Prayer: Come, Holy Spirit, fill us with your gifts of wisdom, understanding, knowledge, counsel, fortitude, piety and fear of the Lord. As we dwell in the Heart of Mary, Your spouse, fashion us more and more according to the Heart of Jesus. end of excerpt

            6. Mary: My Spouse the Holy Spirit is the
                soul of the Church –
                He comes to make
                men more alive in
                holiness.

            7. Mary: Are you open or closed to
the Holy Spirit alive in your hearts?

            8. April 13, 2022

            9. Mary's Message - from the Rosary of August 27, 1996

Mary:  I stood beneath the cross of my Son, and my Heart was in such pain for I saw Him before my eyes. I saw Him covered with blood. I saw Him die. My Heart, my children, my Heart to watch my Son, but my Heart, my Heart, how I suffered for my little children of the world that give in to this world and give up the love of my Son. O my little children of light, I give you this message. Carry this light into the darkness for your Mother Mary, for I stood beneath the cross and I cried. I cried for the little ones. I cried for the young ones, the ones that do not care and will lose their souls. How do I make you see for you will not listen to me? What can I do? I come. I appear. I beg. I plead. I give you these gifts from my Son, and you reject me. I do not deliver messages very often anymore for I have been ignored. The message is the same. You do not read the messages I have given to you. Please help me. Help the little children. I appear. I appear. I appear, and I am ignored. I stood beneath the cross, and I cried. I cried, and my Heart was in such anguish for my little children, for I am searching for them this day as I searched for the Child Jesus. Please, please help me. I cannot hold back the hand of my Son any longer. I am Mary, your Mother. I ask you to help my children. You are my children of light. end of Mary's Message

            10. November 5, 2021

Mary cried last night, November 5th, and this morning, November 6th, and said souls would go to hell by the end of the night. Crying, Mary said, this is my message.

Mary: The devil is a liar.
                Use the Spiritual Exercises,
                Discernment of Spirits
                I gave to St. Ignatius.

Prayer of St Ignatius

Soul of Christ, sanctify me
Body of Christ, save me
Blood of Christ, inebriate me
Water from the side of Christ wash me
Passion of Christ, strengthen me
O good Jesus, hear me
Within Thy wounds hide me
Permit me not to be separated from Thee
From the wicked foe defend me
at the hour of my death call me
and bid me come to Thee
That with Thy saints I may praise Thee
For ever and ever. Amen.

Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle B of the Litugical Year (2011/2012)
$ 10.00

Guiding Light homily series — Reflect on the Word — Cycle B     The Word leaves an impression on our souls. In my thoughts and reflections are born a more tangible understanding of these eternal concepts presented in the Gospels and the readings. Anyone can read a sentence, but not anyone can absorb it's true meaning. Truth, in this day and age, is almost a matter of opinion or individual entitlement. We believe that Christ's truth is our Roman Catholic Church. We, as priests, champion it's teachings; we are ambassadors for the Pope and Christ to those faces looking at us. We are the light by which our congregation reads to reflect upon real truth and we do it hand in hand. $10

Guiding Light - Steadfast to the Son
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle A of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light homily series — Steadfast to the Son — Cycle A    The sunflower is a great example of how we should be steadfastly guided by light. What a powerful thought that this exceptional plant is not stuck in one pose day in and day out, yet adaptable and magnetized to the sun. We feel the same about our Son. Our heads turns to face Christ as each day presents its challenges to find light. We join together like plants in a field and soak up the Son through the pulpit. We are a warm circle of strength using the wind of our breath to carry our priests' words, Christ's words, to new rich soil. $10

Guiding Light - Focusing on the Word
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle B of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light — Focusing on the Word — Cycle B    At times we may feel that our path to Christ is a bit "out of focus". Like the disciples in the Book of Mark, this ordinary life clouds our vision of Christ's Divinity. We may doubt the practicality or possibility of applying His teachings and example to our modern life. Cycle B's homilies are a "guiding light" to help us realize Jesus' Messianic greatness and His promise of better things to come. $10

Guiding Light - Feed My Soul
Inspiring Homilies Covering Cycle C of the Litugical Year
$ 10.00

Guiding Light — Feed My Soul — Cycle C    In a world rapidly advancing and encouraging personal gain, we are faced with modern problems. There is a challenge to find time in our busy schedules for Sunday Mass or a family meal. We are able to research, shop, bank and even work without hearing one human voice. It is no wonder that we may often feel disconnected and famished at our week's end. In Fr. Joe's third book of homilies from Cycle C, we are reminded of the charity that Christ intended us to show each other. We have a calling to turn the other cheek and be the Good Samaritan to others. We are rewarded with the Father's kingdom and love when we are not worthy. We are not left alone or hungry. $10
