Jesus speaks:     Did you ever see the 18 year old that
                                doesn't want to be like their
                                parents? They want to be
                                more intelligent, they may want
                                to be ahead in worldly matters —
                                ahead of their parents.

                            Oh so silly — your parents should be
                                your friends — parents should not
                                use authority to be domineering
                                for the sake of control —
                                children should not rebel and
                                literally ignore the parents given to
                                them by God.

                            Now children of God —

                                Why do you not recognize your
                                    heavenly Father who created
                                    you and has all the power?

                                    of themselves as #one and ignore 
                                    authority over them —

                                Look at the baby that feels secure —

                                        in the womb —

                                There was a big place, huge, full of people —
                                    some came in with pure things to
                                    occupy their time, all were to gather
                                    there a certain part of the day
                                    and do constructive things —
                                    others came with delights and things
                                    to amuse themselves some of
                                    them were not moral, some were
                                    indulgent, some of them — "healthy fun",
                                    some did nothing constructive and gave
                                    into the desires to be trying to get
                                    ahead of everyone else, some
                                    were injured and had to walk slow,
                                    some were babies and had to be carried,
                                    some ran and jumped with glee —

                                all were to spend a certain amount of
                                    time in the big place that day —

                                When the time was up there was a
                                    big line getting out, it became
                                    difficult for some carrying babies
                                    and for those who were older and 
                                    with troubled joints and bones —

                                the lines were so long and the doors
                                    were so small, the people
                                    would look very disorderly
                                    converging on the small door —

                                Some helped each other while waiting —
                                    others only carried their own things
                                    and wanted to prove they
                                    were better than everyone else —

                                Do  you know light?
                                Do you know darkness?

                                Are you blind?
                                Do you hear?

                                Does the little old lady almost fall
                                    in front of you while you
                                    hit her with your golf clubs?

                                Do you read the Wall Street Journal
                                    and study it, but never think
                                    about your spiritual life?

                                What is on the other side of that little door?

                                Is there chaos outside or does the crowd
                                    disperse quickly?

John 10: 1-24

The good shepherd

‘In all truth I tell you, anyone who does not enter the sheepfold through the gate, but climbs in some other way, is a thief and a bandit. He who enters through the gate is the shepherd of the flock; the gate-keeper lets him in, the sheep hear his voice, one by one he calls his own sheep and leads them out. When he has brought out all those that are his, he goes ahead of them, and the sheep follow because they know his voice. They will never follow a stranger, but will run away from him because they do not recognise the voice of strangers.’
Jesus told them this parable but they failed to understand what he was saying to them.
        So Jesus spoke to them again:

In all truth I tell you,
I am the gate of the sheepfold.
All who have come before me
are thieves and bandits,
but the sheep took no notice of them.
I am the gate.
Anyone who enters through me
   will be safe"
such a one will go in and out
and will find pasture.
The thief comes
only to steal and kill and destroy.
I have come
so that they may have life
and have it to the full.
I am the good shepherd:
the good shepherd lays down his life
   for his sheep.
The hired man,
   since he is not the shepherd
and the sheep do not belong to him,
abandons the sheep
as soon as he sees a wolf coming,
   and runs away,
and then the wolf attacks
   and scatters the sheep;
he runs away
  because he is only a hired man
and has no concern for the sheep.
I am the good shepherd;
I know my own
and my own know me,
just as the Father knows me
and I know the Father;
and I lay down my life for my sheep.
And there are other sheep I have
that are not of this fold,
and I must lead these too.
They too will listen to my voice,
and there will be only one flock,
one shepherd.
The Father loves me,
because I lay down my life
in order to take it up again.
No one takes it from me;
I lay it down of my own free will,
and as I have power to lay it down,
so I have power to take it up again;
and this is the command
   I have received from my Father.

    These words caused a fresh division among the Jews. Many said, ‘He is possessed, he is raving; why do you listen to him?’ Others said, ‘These are not the words of a man possessed by a devil: could a devil open the eyes of the blind?’

                                he would say the cows looked so contented.

                                Father Carter worked disciplining
                                himself discerning all this
                                material, setting up the Movement,
                                saying a very long Mass daily
                                and praying and writing the
                                Priestly Newsletter, and taking

                            He really did not get public recognition for
                                all he did for Shepherds of Christ.

                            He got a lot of persecution, but he worked
                                until his death, going to China,
                                Indiana for Mass twice a week
                                as Jesus told him — 
                                (a message he got himself from Jesus —)
                                until he was almost dead.

                            His instructions for me those last 3
                                months were to circulate these
                                writings to the priests and he
                                told me how. And how to continue
                                the movement. Even so sick and with chemo —
                                he wanted the Movement to go on and the 
                                messages to go on. He knew the importance
                                of the Movement as Jesus told him.

The Birth of the Full Ministries
of the Shepherds of Christ

    "I wish to share with you part of a message which Jesus gave us on October 13, 1994. The message tells us about the expansion of the Shepherds of Christ movement:

    'My beloved priest-companion, today I come to you with another mission. I am asking you to establish Shepherds of Christ Ministries. At My request you have already begun the priestly newsletter, "Shepherds of Christ", and the prayer chapters, Shepherds of Christ Associates...

    'I am giving you this message on this day, the 77th Anniversary of the Great Apparition at Fatima, because of the close connection between the Shepherds of Christ movement and the Fatima message. The Fatima message is centered in devotion to My Heart and My Mother's Heart, especially in consecration to Our Hearts. Shepherds of Christ Ministries is also centered in devotion to Our Hearts. I will use Shepherds of Christ Ministries as a great instrument in helping to bring about the triumph of the Immaculate Heart and the reign of My Sacred Heart. When this occurs, My Church and the world will be experiencing the great era of peace promised by My Mother at Fatima.

Apostles of the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus

  
My dear fellow Associate Members,

Jesus is calling special apostles to join a new division of the Shepherds of Christ Movement. Here is a message from Jesus given to Father Carter:

My beloved priest-companion, I am requesting that a new prayer movement be started under the direction of Shepherds of Christ Ministries. I am asking for volunteers who are willing to pray before the Blessed Sacrament for one hour, twice-weekly. Members of the Shepherds of Christ prayer chapters, as well as others, are to be invited to join this movement.

These apostles are to pray for the intentions I am giving you. For part of the hour they are to use the prayers of the Shepherds of Christ Associates Handbook. They may spend the rest of the hour as they so choose.

I will use this new prayer movement within My Shepherds of Christ Ministries in a powerful way to help in the renewal of My Church and the world. I will give great graces to those who join this movement. The name, Apostles of the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus, is to be given to this movement.

I am inviting My beloved Rita Ring to be coordinator for this activity.

I pour out the great love of My Sacred Heart to all. I am Jesus, Chief Shepherd of the flock.

    This is indeed a special calling for us to unite in one heart with His Eucharistic Heart and pray for the following intentions:

My Persecution

Jesus:  They persecuted Me. If you love Me you will undergo your own persecutions for love of Me. To My death on the cross they persecuted Me. The way to Me is the Way of the Cross. Pick up your cross and follow Me.

It is in suffering that I am closest to you. You need to be strengthened. I am strengthening you in your trials.

St. Theresa of Lisieux, recently made doctor of the Church by Pope John Paul II, has left us these inspiring words: "Neither do I desire any longer suffering or death, and still I love them both; it is love alone that attracts me, however. I desired them for a long time; I possessed suffering and believed I had touched the shores of heaven, that the little flower would be gathered in the spring time of her life. Now, abandonment alone guides me. I have no other compass! I can no longer ask for anything with fervor except the accomplishment of God's will in my soul without any creature being able to set obstacles in the way." ¹⁸

You Will Be Fired At

March 4, 1994

Jesus:  The incense is for you, Rita, My little flower. I am with you at this moment. Believe Me, I am here! You will be persecuted for My sake. You must stay steadfast in My love. I am all that matters. You must preach My love. The seeds you plant will save the troubled ones from their own doom. You plant the seeds, I provide the water and the sunlight. You are the sower. I will make the plants grow in the beautiful sun.

You must only live for My love. This is such a little cross for what you will be given to deal with. You must be so steadfast in My love that you never doubt why you do this or that. I love you intently.

Your days of glory are ended. Stay fixed in My love. This is your strength. You will come from the fire, a shining star, but you will be fired at.

I am sorry to tell you this, little one. Your love will be put to the test, but you will emerge My servant to preach these words here. You will be tested in fire and you will come forth a rock in My love.

You will be able to withstand it all so you can do the work I will need you to do. Do not fear, do not fret. Stay in constant union with Me.

Pray with your children. They will suffer when you are fired at. Be silent and steadfast in My love. Pray constantly. Be connected strongly to your children. You are being taught to stand up to your faith in Me and My words here. Your faith will be that which leads many to My intimate love.

I do not show you, because I must strengthen your faith and trust in Me. You need My trials to do the tasks to follow.

Pray, pray, pray. Come to Me and pour your heart out to Me. I am communicating with you. You must turn to Me because I can help you. I know what is coming. I know what I am allowing for great love of You. You will come out shining in the end, but you must suffer for the torrent day is at hand.

You will lead many to Me and you must be ever so strong. Do not fear. Come and be close to Me. I will hold you up.

Trust and faith. I am God and I am mighty. I am He Who loved you to My death.

"I thought of My intense love for you, that many would go to heaven because of My sufferings and I continued to the top of the hill. At the top they laid Me on the big cross and with a big hammer they nailed My hands to the cross. It was the worst yet. My hands were nailed with a big nail and a big hammer. Oh, it was unbelievable, and then, as if that weren't enough, with a big nail they nailed both of My feet.

"My mother watched in such agony.

"Oh, God, My God, why have You forsaken Me? It is finished and your salvation is won." For your love, to My death I give you My Body. My child, I shed My Blood and gave you My life that you will be with Me forever in heaven. Not a day, a month or a year, but forever with Me in Heaven.

"I am the true Bread come down from heaven. He who eats My flesh will have life forever. For the drink I give is My Blood and the food you eat is My Body. Who would lay down his life for a friend? I did, for you! I love you this much, My child. Forget about those who reject you. You have My life that I give for you and I give life eternal."

    A Prayer before the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass

    Let me be a holy sacrifice and unite with God in the sacrament of His greatest love.

    I want to be one in Him in this act of love, where He gives Himself to me and I give myself as a sacrifice to Him. Let me be a holy sacrifice as I become one with Him in this my act of greatest love to Him.

    Let me unite with Him more, that I may more deeply love Him. May I help make reparation to His adorable Heart and the heart of His Mother, Mary. With greatest love, I offer myself to You and pray that You will accept my sacrifice of greatest love. I give myself to You and unite in Your gift of Yourself to me. Come and possess my soul.

    Cleanse me, strengthen me, heal me. Dear Holy Spirit act in the heart of Mary to make me more and more like Jesus.

    Father, I offer this my sacrifice, myself united to Jesus in the Holy Spirit to You. Help me to love God more deeply in this act of my greatest love.

    Give me the grace to grow in my knowledge, love and service of You and for this to be my greatest participation in the Mass. Give me the greatest graces to love You so deeply in this Mass, You who are so worthy of my love.

      

A Prayer for Intimacy with the Lamb 
the Bridegroom of the soul

    Oh Lamb of God, Who take away the sins of the world, come and act on my soul most intimately. I surrender myself, as I ask for the grace to let go, to just be as I exist in You and You act most intimately on my soul. You are the Initiator. I am the soul waiting Your favors as You act in me. I love You. I adore You. I worship You. Come and possess my soul with Your Divine Grace, as I experience You most intimately.

Prayer for Priests "Lord Jesus, Chief Shepherd of the Flock, we pray that in the great love and mercy of Your Sacred Heart You attend to all the needs of Your priest-shepherds throughout the world. We ask that You draw back to Your Heart all those priests who have seriously strayed from Your path, that You rekindle the desire for holiness in the hearts of those priests who have become lukewarm, and that You continue to give Your fervent priests the desire for the highest holiness. United with Your Heart and Mary’s Heart, we ask that You take this petition to Your heavenly Father in the unity of the Holy Spirit. Amen."

December 13, 1998 Message

Jesus speaks: I speak to you of authority. I ask you to see a ladder. I ask you to see the top. God is at the top and all authority is under Him. In a family God is at the top, on a lower rung of the ladder beneath God are the parents, under the parents are the children.

Jesus speaks: Now I ask you to see a fourteen year old who wishes his way. He must yield to the parents. The parents have a responsibility under pain of sin to do God's will in raising the child.

Now I ask you to envision a chart as such:

My will.
	Thy will.

Jesus speaks: The struggle for man, my will/Thy will.

I ask you to meditate on the Sorrowful Mysteries of the rosary.

And going on a little further he fell on his face and prayed. 'My Father,' he said, 'if it is possible, let this cup pass me by. Nevertheless, let it be as you, not I, would have it.'

  

Jesus speaks: My child, I was in the garden. I saw before Me all of the sins of the world, I saw My bitter Passion. I saw all that would reject and accept the grace that would be given to them. I am the new Adam. In the garden I sweat the life saving Blood, I cried out:

'Father,' he said, 'if you are willing, take this cup away from me. Nevertheless, let your will be done, not mine.'

  

Jesus speaks: My child, I give you the garden of Eden.

The devil tempted Eve, she persuaded her husband to disobey.

The devil said,

   

Genesis 3: 5

God knows in fact that the day you eat it your eyes will be opened and you will be like gods, knowing good from evil.'

  

Jesus speaks: The question is to do My will or thy will. It is a struggle for the tainted children of Eve to live in the Father's will.

The world is focused on the self, on getting ahead, on being the head, on being on the top. The way of God is to realize God is the head. God's way is to do His will.

Are you to try to be like gods as Eve wanted? Or are you to be likened to God?

The struggle is to remain on the ladder under my feet.

Always the parent is the child of the Father. Always the authority is coming from above. Parents realizing fully their roles as children of God operate by His rules, the Commandments and His Word. Parents do not get their answers from the world or from men. They have a link to the Creator who sets the rules and governs. He is the one who gives truth.

The world has turned right to wrong and wrong to right. It is very confusing many times to know what to do. You must come to Me.  I AM THE WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE. I give you My Word, I give you the Commandments.

When a child goes to school, the parent gives the authority to teach the child. They now have that responsibility given by the parent to teach the truth. They now take the rung on the ladder and their head is under God's feet. They now are held accountable for what they do, for they are responsible to God.

The Church is the highest authority upon earth. It acts in God's name.

The Pope has authority in faith and morals. All must live according to his dictates in these matters.

This authority was given by Me to him. He must live according to God's will and the rules given to him.

After that will come the end, when he will hand over the kingdom to God the Father, having abolished every principality, every ruling force and power. For he is to be king until he has made his enemies his footstool, and the last of the enemies to be done away with is death, for he has put all things under his feet. But when it is said everything is subjected, this obviously cannot include the One who subjected everything to him. When everything has been subjected to him, then the Son himself will be subjected to the One who has subjected everything to him, so that God may be all in all.

When morning came, all the chief priests and the elders of the people met in council to bring about the death of Jesus. They had him bound and led him away to hand him over to Pilate, the governor.

   

Messenger: They handed Him over. He allowed them to do what they did to Him. In the end, in the Reign of the Sacred Heart, there will be great conformity to God's will.

God gives men this freedom. He does not coerce. He is a God of justice.

The New Adam gave His life doing the will of God.

Messenger: The altar is the gift that the Father gives to us today. It is through the Mass celebrated in such oneness with Christ that we are fed. Great fruit comes forth from the Mass.

Messenger: Whenever there is authority, there should be love. God is in charge. Yet Christ the Head loved so much He gave His life for His creatures.

Hosea 2:4-7
Yahweh and his unfaithful wife

To court, take your mother to court!
For she is no longer my wife
nor am I her husband.
She must either remove her whoring ways
    from her face
and her adulteries
    from between her breasts,
or I shall strip her and expose her
naked as the day she was born;
I shall make her as bare as the desert,
I shall make her as dry as arid country,
and let her die of thirst.
And I shall feel no pity for her children
since they are the children of her whorings.
Yes, their mother has played the whore,
she who conceived them
    has disgraced herself
by saying, 'I shall chase after my lovers;
they will assure me my keep,
my wool, my flax, my oil and my drinks.'  

   

  

We are the bride of Christ.
He is our Bridegroom.
He gives us Himself in the Eucharist.

We are to bear fruit for the Kingdom. He gives us His life in the Eucharist. We are the spouses of the Lamb. God hates barrenness. We must bear fruit for the Kingdom. We are the children of God.

III: THE REPENTANCE AND RECONCILIATION OF ISRAEL
The sincere conversion of Israel to Yahweh

Israel, come back to Yahweh your God
your guilt was the cause of your downfall.
Provide yourself with words
and come back to Yahweh.
Say to him, ‘Take all guilt away
and give us what is good,
instead of bulls we will dedicate to you
    our lips.
Assyria cannot save us,
we will not ride horses any more,
or say, “Our God!”
    to our own handiwork,
for you are the one
    in whom orphans find compassion.’

I shall cure them of their disloyalty,
I shall love them with all my heart,
for my anger has turned away from them.
I shall fall like dew on Israel,
he will bloom like the lily
and thrust out roots
    like the cedar of Lebanon;
he will put out new shoots,
he will have the beauty of the olive tree
and the fragrance of Lebanon.
They will come back to live in my shade;
they will grow wheat again,
they will make the vine flourish,
their wine will be as famous as Lebanon’s.
What has Ephraim to do with idols
    any more
when I hear him and watch over him?
I am like an evergreen cypress,
you owe your fruitfulness to me.

Concluding admonition

Let the wise understand these words,
let the intelligent grasp their meaning,
for Yahweh’s ways are straight
and the upright will walk in them,
but sinners will stumble.

  

Revelation 22: 6-7

The angel said to me, ‘All that you have written is sure and will come true: the Lord God who inspires the prophets has sent his angel to reveal to his servants what is soon to take place. I am coming soon! Blessed are those who keep the prophetic message of this book.

Look, I am coming soon, and my reward is with me, to repay everyone as their deed deserve. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. Blessed are those who will have washed their robes clean, so that they will have the right to feed on the tree of life and can come through the gates into the city. Others must stay outside: dogs, fortune-tellers, and the sexually immoral, murderers idolaters, and everyone of false speech and false life.’

EPILOGUE

I, Jesus, have sent my angel to attest these things to you for the sake of the churches. I am the sprig from the root of David and the bright star of the morning.

The Spirit and the Bride say, ‘Come!’ Let everyone who listens answer, ‘Come!’ Then let all who are thirsty come: all who want it may have the water of life, and have it free.
