R. Love is freeing - not binding – Do we
want to love or are we held back by
reasons and fears why we shouldn't
love.
The self-talk we become used to, can be
what holds us back from loving as God
calls us to.
A person afraid of being with others
may scan the place and tell themselves
why they are not safe. Then create in
their mind what is wrong, why they should
fear to have an isolating response for why
they should flee the place where they should
be. All this self-talk is what they use
to determine why they are acting. We all
must decide some place or situation is
safe, but a person wanting to be alone,
wanting things where they don't want
to deal with others can live with this
self-imposed game which can keep
them isolated, in control - they think, and
not really living the way God is calling us to
live.
God calls us to be. We discern where
God wants us – in our vocation – to give
to Him, to give to others, to use our talents
for the building of His Kingdom.
We love God, we want to please Him,
we seek His will, we are at peace inside.
Our freedom comes in just that – being
in the right place at the right time.
Our actions are not the enslavement of
fearful thoughts – or trying to morbidly
create an atmosphere we control because
of these fearful thoughts –
Our reason for determining our actions –
which are many – are not so fixed in our
enslaving thoughts. We seek to do what God
calls us to, always having our eternal
salvation as our goal –
What does God want for me? Our actions
are determined by right reasoning, not
fears, i.e. fear of abandonment, fear of being
with others, manipulation of others for
control of things –
This is enslavement – controlling
thoughts we subject in our own mind
that keeps us from seeing through God's
eyes to begin with.
A person should not fear so much they live
with such restrictions on themselves, they
never really live.
What is God's will for us, then do it.
This is freedom. It is a sick man's understanding,
if they are sick they take care of themselves
and don't try to do more than they can do.
We want to live virtuously – see through
the eyes of God, what is His will for us –
this is faith.
I know going to the Eucharist fills me with
His life – I see through God's eyes, not
my earthy, scared eyes. The grace I can get
from going to the Eucharist – lifts me up –
I see things through God's eyes – I am
not enslaved to fearful self-talk that
can lead me in the wrong direction.
We want the friend in our hearts that
talks to us all day – that is with us – to be
the Holy Spirit – to be Jesus as He dwells
in our heart and I dwell in His Heart –
We want prudence and temperance and justice
in our actions and thoughts – to live virtuously –
to have fortitude – strength to do God's will –
to do the difficult He calls us to do and to
do it right – not a quick job that makes
a big mess.
We want to walk humbly – to know the
truth about ourselves and our capabilities
and to be in the right place under God,
in relationships – knowing our place
under just authority –
Living is living the most when we walk
with God, when we are free, even in great
suffering – to walk with God – not listen
to fearful self-talk, enslavement for
ourselves opposing the Father's will for us.
Nothing is easy – we walk this valley
with suffering and victory, but the victory
is ours when we walk with God and
follow His will.
Our self-talk that is wrong and negative,
fearful can be a ball and chain tied around
our ankle holding us back from living
and doing God's will for us – Being free
in mind and spirit to hold onto what
God wants of us.
Being free to live our greatest fear
is not free at all. Being where God
wants us is freedom. Relying on His
Might, on His strength.
Living to love – is freedom –
Love is giving as we saw when Jesus
came and died for us on the cross –
God is love and He wants us to grow
more and more in love – in His image
and likeness.
We want to be free to live as God
is calling us to live – not enslaved by
our own inordinate attachments.
The St. Ignatius Spiritual Exercises gives
us the First Principle and Foundation and
the purpose –
From The Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius, by Louis J. Puhl, S.J. p. 12
23. FIRST PRINCIPLE AND FOUNDATION
Man is created to praise, reverence and serve God
our Lord, and by this means to save his soul.
From The Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius, by Louis J. Puhl, S.J. p.11
21. SPIRITUAL EXERCISES
Which have as their purpose the conquest of self
and the regulation of one's life in such a way that
no decision is made under the influence of any
inordinate attachment
R. Spiritual exercises mean we are not
enslaved to thoughts, fears, actions
that stop us from doing God's will for us.
God has called us to live and to do, in
the building of His Kingdom, in justice
to give back to God and others what
has been done for us.
A person with a selfish, holding back
attitude, fearful - even-Stephen, can
be so locked in their ways – they do not
live at all.
What is going on in our minds, in our
fears, in thoughts that are bad habits
that stop us from really seeing through
God's eyes.
It can be that a person just grows
more and more in self-enclosure –
caved-in – not really seeing at all and
they are called to see – to be there at
a situation to aid another, but so
locked in their thoughts about themselves
they don't see where they are needed –
right in front of them.
We all may assess a situation – where
we are – how are we fitting in, but
being morbidly caved-in – in fearful
thoughts, thoughts of why a completely
safe place - is not safe – to where
we don't really seek out what is
needed around us – can become a
habit of self-consciousness that keeps
us from living and doing God's will –
We need to grow in seeing more and
more through the eyes of God, not in
controlling the atmosphere, but living
and being free where God has planted
us.
God is with us, today, always, we
must raise above fear and anger and
bad habits that enslave us and walk
with God – pray to God while we walk,
know His presence with us, in our hearts –
so we can love and give and operate
as He operates in us.
God is running the show. I can see
the vastness of the ocean or I can
be locked in a corner and not see
the scene before me because of my
own closed-in thoughts –
We can pray to God to help us and
while He is working – giving us signs –
If it is good we must recognize this as good,
even though it is not finished. We should
not fill ourselves with fear waiting, we must
continue waiting with hope and prayer, on the
Lord. We can make a mess just because we
have to wait and not thank God for the good
signs He may be giving us.
What holds us back from loving –
from giving our life to God - to use – to
do what He wants in our lives –
Who is our worst enemy when it comes
to freedom, freedom to give, freedom
to love – freedom to walk with God –
to pray silently all through the day – to trust
in Him – to have greater faith – to see
through God's eyes; to pray for grace
to do so.
Are we free to see through God's eyes
and give Him what He wants? When we
really love someone, it is easier and
easier to give more of ourselves.
Isn't that what marriage is all about –
trust and giving of oneself more and
more to work as one – to raise children – to
give in difficult times in love – to raise
a family helping children to know trust
and love – responsibility, accountability
for our actions as we live in a little
community the family.
God brings a baby into the world
from two parents – and so there is
3 and so we are to grow together in
love –
Learn to give, Learn to want to
give of ourselves for those we love –
God has put people in our lives to love –
No man is an island – where they can shut-
down and not work with others, not
trust others, not be responsible for
their actions, accountable for their
actions.
We are families, live in communities,
go to Churches, live in society –
are in the world.
Selfishness does not build unity,
where a person becomes more able
to close down and keep their heart locked
up.
I show you this picture.
R. Jesus shows us His Heart –
We are here to give, to love –
to be men for others –
to see through the eyes of God who
gave His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ,
so we could have life and have
it, some day, to the full –
God is light and in Him is no darkness.
1 John 4:17-21
Love comes to its perfection in us when we can face the Day of Judgement fearlessly, because even in this world we have become as he is. In love there is no room for fear, but perfect love drives out fear, because fear implies punishment and no one who is afraid has come to perfection in love. Let us love, then, because he first loved us. Anyone who says 'I love God' and hates his brother, is a liar, since whoever does not love the brother whom he can see cannot love God whom he has not seen. Indeed this is the commandment we have received from him, that whoever loves God, must also love his brother.
Jesus: I am the way, the truth and the life –
Love is giving –
How can a person grow in love –
that holds back and holds back
and lives in fear and control –
I give you Myself in the Eucharist –
I am the way, the truth and the life –
Sing: I Am the Bread of Life
Sing: A Song from Jesus
Jesus: When you love, you are happy –
love is giving to God and to
others –
R. Love is being what God intended us to be –
Matthew 22: 36-40
'Master, which is the greatest commandment of the Law?' Jesus said to him, 'You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment. The second resembles it: You must love your neighbour as yourself. On these two commandments hang the whole Law, and the Prophets too.'
Priestly Newsletter Book II - September/October 1997
In all this Mary offers an example. Selfishness was totally foreign to her. She did not belong to herself. She belonged to God. She was not closed in upon herself. She was completely open to God. When God spoke, she listened. When God pointed the way, she followed. She realized that life is not a process a person masters by carefully mapping out one's own self-conceived plans of conquest, but a mystery to be gradually experienced by being open to God's personal and loving guidance.
Selfishness, then, did not close Mary off from God's call. Neither did fear. God asked her to assume a tremendous responsibility. He asked her to be the Mother of Jesus. Mary did not engage in a process of false humility and say that such a great role was above her. She did not say that she did not have the proper qualifications for this awesome mission. Briefly, she did not waste time looking at herself, making pleas that she was not worthy, telling the angel he had better go look for someone else. No, Mary did not look at herself. Her gaze was absorbed in God. She fully realized that whatever God asked of her, His grace would accomplish. She fully realized that although she herself had to cooperate, this work was much more God's than hers.
Mary's words, then, truly sum up what is the authentic Christian response at any point of life, in any kind of situation: "I am the handmaid of the Lord," said Mary, "let what you have said be done to me".
Jesus: Put aside your fearful eyes that
enslave you –
Self-talk that holds you back
away from seeing and giving
as you should.
It can be an expensive lesson in
seeing yourself – self-enclosed
and a person in need is right in front
of your face –
Pray to see yourself, how you may be
acting in self-enclosure and fear –
Start living and walk with Me –
Trust in Me –
Look around you –
Look out –
See what is before you –
Know My presence with you –
Matthew 18: 3
Then he said, ‘In truth I tell you, unless you change and become like little children you will never enter the kingdom of Heaven.
Jesus: Seek to know and love
supernaturally –
You are given a sharing in My
life in baptism –
Don't be enslaved to bad,
corrupted self-patterned
thinking –
You are a light to the world –
As I live in you more and more and
operate from you –
your light will shine before others –
Love your neighbor as yourself –
You don't judge whether you love
by what others are doing –
I call you to love your
neighbor as yourself –
Pray for them –
Love comes from the heart –
Love sees through My eyes –
I point to My Sacred Heart – I loved those
who put Me to death –
Love your neighbor as yourself –
Hold not back – give –
Be believing in My power and My love
at work in your heart –
Be instruments of My love –
How controlling are you?
How tied up are you in your own
knots!!
I am love –
I give to you My love –
Freely given –
To be alive means you are
sensitive to what is going on
around you –
Do not harden your hearts!
Be people of love – looking out in
love for your brothers –
Do what you do out of love –
out of giving in your heart –
I am love

First Commandment
"I am the Lord thy God, Thou
shalt not have any gods besides
me."
R. Putting our love for God first.
Loving means giving to the other.
When we love God we give more
and more of ourselves to God.
We want to give to those we love.
We love them because we want to
love them – we don't count
the cost. We give because we love
them. It comes from the heart,
it is not seeking its own end.
Love is giving –
Jesus showed us love –
that He loved us so much
He died for us.
A man in love will give of
himself for the other.
Did you ever see a person in
danger and another doesn't
even think of themselves to rescue
the person in danger.
A father so in love with the
child has no thoughts of himself
if the child is in danger.
When we show genuine love
to others – we are giving to God.
God the Father first loved us –
that He gave His only begotten
Son for us –
The more love grows, the
more we give to the person that
we love. A man wanting to marry
a woman promises her to live
his life with her.
The more we show God our
love, the more our love for
God will grow –
Loving is giving –
Love is an act of the will –
When we love God very much
we do not want to offend
Him.
We can always grow more in our
love of God. God gives us the Blue Books
and tells us how much He loves us.
Song: A Song from Jesus
A Prayer before the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass
Let me be a holy sacrifice and unite with God in the sacrament of His greatest love.
I want to be one in Him in this act of love, where He gives Himself to me and I give myself as a sacrifice to Him. Let me be a holy sacrifice as I become one with Him in this my act of greatest love to Him.
Let me unite with Him more, that I may more deeply love Him. May I help make reparation to His adorable Heart and the heart of His Mother, Mary. With greatest love, I offer myself to You and pray that You will accept my sacrifice of greatest love. I give myself to You and unite in Your gift of Yourself to me. Come and possess my soul.
Cleanse me, strengthen me, heal me. Dear Holy Spirit act in the heart of Mary to make me more and more like Jesus.
Father, I offer this my sacrifice, myself united to Jesus in the Holy Spirit to You. Help me to love God more deeply in this act of my greatest love.
Give me the grace to grow in my knowledge, love and service of You and for this to be my greatest participation in the Mass. Give me the greatest graces to love You so deeply in this Mass, You who are so worthy of my love.
-Mass Book, December 27, 1995
L
ET US LOVE THE TWO HEARTS OF JESUS AND MARYHE GAVE HIMSELF TO US ON THE CROSS. HE GIVES HIMSELF TO US IN THE EUCHARIST.
How great was the act of love, God gave to this world, when He gave Himself and died on the cross. He gives Himself to us this day in the Holy Eucharist.
The greatest commandment is that we must love God with our whole heart, our whole soul, and our whole being. This is a commandment. If we are to enter heaven, we must follow the commandments. They are commands given by God for us to follow.
The greatest act we can do on this earth is an act of loving God. The reason for our existence is to love God. In the sacrament of His greatest love, He gives Himself to us. This is an act of love on His part. We are called to respond by giving ourselves in love to Him.
This is the purpose of the Holy Eucharist: to unite in such oneness with our Holy, Loving God. Our all consuming passion should be that of loving God. How many go to the Eucharist with the sole purpose of giving great love to God? He wants us to love Him. He wants souls to tell Him how much they truly love Him. This is the most intimate act of love when Jesus gives Himself-Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity to man. If it is such an act of love, how are we receiving Him in Communion? We should beg God, in this most intimate union with Him, to help us to love Him with greatest love.
Jesus is a Person. He wants our love. The Holy Spirit wants such intimacy with us. Our Father wants us to love Him. In the Eucharist, we unite with God. In this intimate act of uniting with our beloved God, with Divinity, we must pour out our love to God. We must pour out our heart to the most adorable Heart of Jesus. Jesus is so unjustly treated by many of His beloved souls He loves so much. Let us help make reparation to the Almighty God by loving God with our whole heart, our whole soul, and our whole being in the sacrament of His greatest love. This is the Gift of Himself.
Think of how it is to love someone and give your all for that person, to pour out your heart to him or her and then be treated with coldness and neglect. It hurts our heart so much more when we deeply love someone to be rejected by that person. Jesus loves us with the deepest love. We cannot fully comprehend this love. Let us love Him with the deepest love. Let us love Mary and her Immaculate Heart. Let us love her as the Mother of God. Let us love her as the virgin who bore the Son of God. May we, in the reception of the Eucharist pour out our love to Him, to this adorable Heart. May we pour out our love to His Holy Mother.
Mary said at Fatima that Jesus wants His Heart venerated next to the heart of His Mother. Let us love these two Hearts as we receive the Sacrament of the Eucharist. Then we are so deeply united with God. We see Their two Hearts surrounded with thorns for the injustices against Their Hearts. Let us help make reparation daily as we receive Him in the Eucharist. This is a special time to help make reparation to Their wounded Hearts.
Let us remember how He poured His love out to us on the cross and how He pours out His love to us now when He gives us Himself in the Eucharist, the Eucharist which contains His Heart of burning love. His Heart was pierced with a lance. Her heart was invisibly pierced with a sword. As the wounds in Their Hearts are deep, so too is Their love so deep.
He does not want "surface love". He wants hearts filled with deep burning love.

I Love You
April 13, 1994
Words of Jesus. Read before the Tabernacle.
Jesus: How, child, do I, Jesus, tell you I love you? You hold on to silly things when God is in your midst and is ardently loving you. I am Jesus Christ, the Son of God. I am writing to each precious child this day. I am on fire for love of you. I remain in the Eucharist to be with you with My ardent love. I did not want to leave My beloved ones at the Last Supper. I love you so, My dear and ardently loved children. I remain with you this day in the Blessed Sacrament, the same Jesus Who died a brutal death on the Cross.
Do you know I am truly present there? Do you know that God waits every day for you in the tabernacle? Do you comprehend even a minute amount of My love? You will never know of how I love you on earth.
I, Jesus, truly the Son of God, came to earth a man and suffered a brutal death for love of you. I love you so much! I remain with you this day. I long for your love. I want you to come and be with Me in front of the tabernacle. I wait, I yearn for you to come and whisper your love to Me. I am a person and I love you this day, with such an ardent on-fire love! No human could ever compare a speck to My love for you.
I wait, little ones, in the tabernacle. I wait for you to come and receive Me in Communion. I want you to want Me so much you cannot wait to come and receive Me. I want to be the love, the center of your life!
I am Jesus. I am the Son of God. I am writing to you this day. I want to possess your very soul and live in you. I have all you need, sweet ones. Oh, you are so blind! I long for your union with Me. I wrote the book of love. I instituted it, yet you go to the world for your love and do not even come to Me! Oh, I love you, little ones. Little ones, beloved of the Father, loved by the Holy Spirit, mothered by My very own mother! What more can I say? The rest is up to you!
I give you your will with such love and I want your love freely given. I am God. What do you think you could ever need that I do not give you? I am the Savior of this world. I am Jesus, the Son of God. I am waiting for you. I am longing for you. I am yearning for you. I am God. I have all you ever will need!
Surrender this life to Me. Pray My Prayer for Union with Me. I want to possess your soul and operate from your very being. I am Jesus. I am the Son of God. I am the Sacred Heart of Jesus. I am Who am. I died and rose on the third day.
Harken to My call, harken to My pleading. Spend your days in love with Me. Nothing matters unless it is rooted in Me and rooted in My love. I am the Son of God. I am the Sacred Heart of Jesus. I love you with the tenderest love. I am waiting this day for just you, My beloved one. Come to Me for I am the tenderest of all hearts. I am the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

6. Do you have to go with the world? Quit watching the filthy movies and the dirt on television.
7. It hurts My Heart to see you won't take a stand for Me.
8. Don't visit places where people are sinning. It hurts My Heart that you do that.
9. My Heart bleeds when you say yes when you mean no, and no when you mean yes. Don't confuse matters, that is from Satan. Tell the truth.
10. I called you to be an Apostle of My Sacred Heart. Will you serve Me?
Crucifixion
Jesus:
1. My dear soul, I love you to say to Me when receiving the Eucharist, "I scarce can breathe when You come into Me."
2. My dear soul, I do love you so, so much, see My red Blood shed for you.
3. My dear soul, see My bleeding hands and feet.
4. My dear soul, look at the crucifix.
5. My dear soul, the most important thing you do everyday is going to Mass and receiving Me.
6. My dear soul, tell others of the gift of Myself in the Eucharist.
7. My dear soul, do you like favors, ice cream, candy? My dear soul, I give you Myself, I am the Son of God.
8. My dear soul, during this month of the Sacred Heart, pray this rosary, look at My red rosary, think of My drops of Blood. Oh My soul, it is Blood I shed for you.
9. Unite to the Mass at every moment. Feel united as a body.
10. My dear soul, My Mass is a gift I give to you. Love your priests, pray for them, the Church and the world. Oh My dear soul, the more you do for Me the more you will unite to Me. I am the Chief Shepherd of the Flock, I give My prayers to you. I will give the greatest graces to anyone who says My prayers and promotes My prayers. Churches that have prayer chapters, even small, will experience the greatest grace. They will turn into little cities of light, run by Me to give honor to Me and devotion to My Eucharistic Heart. I will bless abundantly all churches which have prayer chapters. In this month of June, the month of My Sacred Heart, I implore you to spread My prayer chapters. This is My plan to help enormously to renew the Church and the world.
I am Jesus Christ, the Son of God, Chief Shepherd of the Flock. My Heart is on fire for love of you, I loved you to My death on the cross. What did I think of on the cross? I thought of you. I knew you by name, I gave Myself as a sacrifice for you. Oh I love you, I am the Sacred Heart, I love you so much. My Heart is a burning furnace of love.end of June 1, 2000 rosary
From June 2, 2000
Messenger: A rosary given June 2, 2000, second day of the month of the Sacred Heart, to be used June 3, 2000. (Do at 6:20 prayers if possible).
Jesus: My chosen ones, pray this rosary June 3, 2000.
Resurrection
1. I gave My life for you.
2. How precious you are to Me.
3. This is the month of My Sacred Heart.
4. My Heart is on fire for you.
5. Thomas did not believe until he touched My wounds.
6. Where is your faith?
7. My Mother appears, one so fair, for those who are filled with doubt to remind you she is there as your spiritual Mother.
8. See the glory of that first Easter morn.
9. See Me clothed in white, Victorious after the brutal death.
10. I am the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the risen Lord is with you today in the Eucharist.
Ascension
Jesus: I ascended into heaven, I left you here to help continue the work I began.
1. I am the Bread of Life.
2. I am the One Who saves.
3. I am the One Who sets the captives free.
4. I open the minds of the blind.
5. I gave My Apostles the power to forgive sins.
6. I gave you My Church, My Bride.
7. I sent the Holy Spirit to come to you.
8. I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

Descent of the Holy Spirit
1. On that Pentecost the Holy Spirit came upon them in tongues of fire.
2. Where they were once blind they could see.
3. Pray for the Holy Spirit to come alive in your hearts. Pray the Holy Spirit Novena I gave you. It is for your Church and your world, for you and your family, for healing, for protection from the evil one. It is to help you be My spouse
4. Say often, "Oh Holy Spirit, enkindle in me the fire of God's love."
5. See the fire from My Heart.
6. See the love of God as a burning furnace, a flame of the deepest intensity, beyond your human comprehension.
7. Pray the Holy Spirit Novena as a body at 6:20, being united to all others all over the world.
8. Have the pictures of these mysteries fixed in your mind. See Mary and the Apostles and the fire above their heads. Meditate on this mystery. Meditate how the Apostles were no longer afraid, but fearless.
9. Say, "Oh Holy Spirit, fill US WITH the FIRE of God's love."
10. Sing: Come Holy Ghost, think of every word, pray to Him with all your hearts as you sing. Feel the words deep in your hearts. The Holy Spirit is your God.
